alejandro watches noah and owen from across the run-down plane. he watches them laugh and giggle like any normal pair of best-friends do. he stares and stares.
then he starts to imagine what it'd be like to be his friend. maybe even more than a friend. just being able to hug him after winning challenges and not part even after a second is what he wants, maybe even needs.
why can't he look at this boy and not want to hug him like he's going to disappear into thin air, or jump out of a plane to his possible death? why does he look at this boy? if jose knew what he was thinking, he would never let him hear the end of it.
he pretends to not know, because he could never love a boy like him.
later at night, after eliminating that same boy when they had unfairly lost a challenge in london, he thinks. he thinks about how the same boy he wanted to weirdly be close too calling him a eel, and how he somehow regrets voting him off. if he could turn back time and never be already captured by the ripper in the first place and live in denial about having a chance to be noah's friend and not be thought out to be an eel by that boy, he would.
but maybe it was for the better, because that same boy knows what he's been doing to get far in this game, and he'll probably continue to put up the same charming façade to last in this game. but he'll still regret voting him off, all the way to the final 2.
