🖤

"I'm going to kill myself," Suguru groaned while heaving, grimacing at his work of art on the white porcelain toilet of their home.

"You do that, and I'll bring you back just to kill you again." The response was a contrast to the hand that was massaging the back of his neck.

The sick man wheezed at the comment. The cool fingers that were brushing his fringe away from his sweaty forehead felt like a comforting bliss to his current situation.

No matter how many times he used his powers, no matter how many curses he consumed - even if the numbers had reached thousands by now - they still tasted. Like. Shit.

Suguru groaned, unceremoniously sitting on his butt and letting himself lean back against Satoru's chest who was always ready to catch him. It's always soothing, despite how ill he felt, that he could just let himself fall and have Satoru take care of him.

"You think you're done?" He felt the older's lips on his temple.

"Mmnh, yeah," The white haired man rubbed his chest while reaching out to flush the toilet. He took Suguru's arm and placed it around his own shoulders, grunting when he took the younger man's weight as they stood. Before heading out, Satoru gave him a bottle of Listerine to wash his mouth. It did nothing to help rid of the taste, more to remove the smell.

The journey back to their bed ended with Suguru slumping on the pristine sheets. He buried his face into Satoru's pillow, groaning in delight at the lingering smell of his strawberry scented shampoo.

"Satoru," Suguru whined childishly, uncaring for once, because he was sickly, damn it. He wanted to bury his face in his husband's hair instead.

"Coming, coming!" His wonderful husband came back with a hot cup of ginger tea, which Suguru appreciatively took from his hands.

He drank it slowly while listening to Satoru telling him about his mission yesterday with Maki and Nobara, how he had taken them shopping afterwards and tried to play cupid for them, but ended up a third wheel instead.

When Suguru was done, Satoru took the cup and placed it on his bedside table to put it away later.

"You need anything else?"

Suguru grunted, using the tone that Satoru knew as a 'no'. He buried his face back into Satoru's pillow while grabbing at the front of the older man's sweatshirt, motioning for a cuddle, to which Satoru complied.

"You're so spoiled like this, anata~" Satoru whispered into one of his ear as he tucked the raven's long hair behind it. Still unused to the endearment, even after they tied the knot months ago, Suguru felt his cheeks warming.

Satoru chuckled as he placed his chin on Suguru's head. "Seriously though, do you need anything else?"

"No, just you," he paused. "and maybe a kiss."

"One kiss for a dashingly handsome sorcerer, coming right up~"

Suguru hummed appreciatively as Satoru cupped his face and covered his lips with his glossy ones.

Satoru let Suguru lick his strawberry chapstick off his lips, gasping when he felt a hand run through his white hair and tugged. He let out an eager moan when the curse manipulator licked his bottom lip, as if asking for permission to go deeper.

When Satoru granted access to Suguru's tongue, the latter wasted no time in exploring his mouth, greedily chasing the taste of sweets that the former had consumed. Chocolate. Yum. The raven haired man wasn't too fond of sweets, but the taste coming off Satoru's mouth was practically a delicacy served on a plate.

Suguru pulled away slightly and was greeted by the sight of dazed blue eyes and flushed cheeks. Fucking beautiful. Ethereal. Appetizing. He wanted nothing more than to consume his husband whole, just like he did with the other curses he had eaten before, but obviously with a much different way. The loving way. The cherished and worshipping way.

"I wanna eat you." Suguru confessed.

Satoru blinked. "You just vomited."

"So?"

"You were sick a few minutes ago, resulted by a curse you ate during yesterday's mission. So you need rest."

"You and I have the day off tomorrow."

"But-"

"Is the great Gojo Satoru refusing sex?"

"Okay, first of all, it's Getou Satoru now, Mister." Satoru raised his hand to show off his wedding ring. Suguru didn't even blink and caught it to press a kiss on the particular finger that held the vein to his heart.

"Ah, my mistake."

"And the great Getou Satoru does not refuse anything, especially when it comes to having sex with his husband-"

"What a lucky guy, this husband of yours."

"Seriously, though, are you okay with doing it?"

Suguru flipped Satoru onto his back gently, and began to kiss his husband's sharp jaw, down to his neck. The marks he had given him a few nights ago were starting to disappear. Hmm, can't have that. "Yeah. I missed you, my love. Let me consume you and cherish you."

He grinned when Satoru's cheeks flushed even deeper, but a smirk soon painted the latter's face, almost challenging. "Then come and get your meal, handsome."

"Please don't ever say that again," And Suguru proceeded to eat his husband whole.

🤍

"We're home! Tsumiki, are you here?" Suguru grunted as he pushed the front door open with his leg.

The twins were gone for a school trip and Megumi was supposed to be absent as well, opting to stay at the school's dorm because he had an exam tomorrow. He was suddenly grateful that the three youngest weren't here, so they didn't have to see the sight of Satoru in this state.

'This state' meant being limp on Suguru's back, pale, trembling and groaning in pain.

"What's going on Suguru-san- oh my, Satoru-san!" Suguru knew he got his work cut out for him, however thankfully, with Tsumiki being the eldest, she was used to mother-henning everyone in her family. Even her parents.

He could count on her.

"Help me get him to the bedroom-" He felt Satoru slapping weakly at his arm, "on second thought, the bathroom."

After Suguru and Tsumiki got him to the bathroom, Satoru immediately threw up everything he had eaten that day. While Suguru kept Satoru company, Tsumiki, already concluding what Satoru was going through without them telling her, immediately went to her parents' bedroom to make their bed and close the blackout drapes.

He then heard her rummaging through the kitchen, probably searching for Satoru's Tylenol and starting to prepare on a warm and easy meal for dinner.

"Fuck," Satoru heaved. "How do you do this all the time?" Suguru grimaced, feeling the upmost sympathy for his husband.

He hated that recently, more and more Special Grade curses had been showing up. And with Satoru and Suguru being the strongest, they had no choice but to go on endless missions exorcising them.

Satoru, with the reason that he didn't want both the strongest to be incapacitated, kept using his Six Eyes pass his limits. Even though he was already chastised by his family, by Suguru in particular, he kept pushing himself more. Strong as he was, this was unhealthy, but again, they had no choice.

Suguru had learned ever since their high-school days that Satoru overexterting his eyes could lead to many things. He could end up passing out, he could sleep for days because of fatigue and even collapse with a fever.

He could also feel too much of everything that the only way for him to stop scratching himself until his skin was bleeding, was to have Suguru fuck him for hours until he fell into subspace and finally, slept peacefully in Suguru's arms.

Thankfully this time, Satoru didn't seem to be passing out anytime soon, but he did have a massive migraine the size of a planet (Satoru's words, not his) that resulted in him throwing up the contents of his stomach.

"Kill me,"

"Tsumiki would be upset if she heard you saying that."

"...Don't kill me,"

Suguru sighed while rubbing Satoru's damp back, waiting patiently while the owner of the Six Eyes laid his forehead on the cool and dirty bowl. He's going to have to give Satoru a bath after this.

"You know we can't keep doing this. They're gonna have to send someone else on the next mission."

"Who?"

"I dunno, maybe literally anyone? Mei Mei, Nanami, Haibara and Utahime are well on their way into becoming Special Grade sorcerers, just-" Anyone but you.

Satoru watched him contemplatingly. Probably understanding why Suguru was gradually raising his voice. He knew that his husband was always more emotional and overbearingly protective when it came to the people he loved. His family.

Satoru's eyes were glassy and so, so blue. Hauntingly beautiful even though they were the source of his current suffering. They crinkled as their owner smiled.

"Why in the hell are you smiling?"

"Because my Suguru is so sweet and hot, being overprotective like that."

"Satoru-"

"We'll talk to Yaga about this tomorrow-" Suguru raised a disapproving eyebrow, "-or when I'm feeling better. Soon, okay?"

"Fine." Now that that part of the conversation was over, Suguru gave Satoru a bath. They ended up with Satoru laying on Suguru's chest, head resting on one of his shoulders. A wet cloth was placed against the Six Eyes, a simple way to battle those infuriating things. When they were done sitting in their own filth, Suguru dried them off and took Satoru in his arms to carry him to their bedroom.

After they were dressed, it took time for Satoru to take his Tylenol and even more time to finish Tsumiki's soup, but both his husband and their daughter were patient in taking care of him.

"Thank you, my sweet girl. I'm sure I'll get better in no time now that I've eaten your lovely meal."

Tsumiki giggled before pressing her lips on Satoru's forehead. "Get well soon, Satoru-san. I'll be in my room doing homework."

She tended to him before doing her own homework. Who raised her? Certainly not Satoru.

The teenager tutted when he voiced his thoughts. "Mou, of course you did, Satoru-san. Stop saying nonsense, please."

Despite her teasing tone, Suguru noticed her worried expression, so he saw her to their door. "Will he be okay?"

"Don't worry too much, my dear. He has you, Megumi and the twins. He'll be back to his annoying self soon enough."

At her father's reassuring smile, the younger relaxed. She gave him an eased-filled smile. "He has his enabler too, which is you."

"Brat. Go do your homework."

She giggled and kissed Suguru on his cheek before bidding him goodnight.

Really, what would his family do without her?

🤍

Satoru passed out.

Satoru fucking passed out in the middle of a mission, after exorcising a First Grade curse.

The only reason that he was alive after that was because Haibara had noticed another First Grade curse sneaking up on the Special Grade sorcerer and managed to kill the thing before it had killed Satoru instead.

"Satoru! Satoru, talk to me," The man moaned weakly as his head lolled on his husband's shoulder. Even with the blindfold, Suguru could see his face flushing with fever, sweat was running down his temples. Eyes scrunched shut and eyebrows frowning in pain.

I almost lost him.

How could Suguru have let this happen?

"Senpai!" Haibara yelled, "Take Gojo-senpai away from here, we got this!"

His snapped his head up while instinctively tightening his hold on his unconscious partner. "But-"

"Quickly, Getou-san!" Nanami added from where he was standing next to his own partner.

"You're facing a Special Grade!" There were three curses they had to handle today, two First grades and one Special Grade. The last was the hardest they had to face.

"And there are two of us, you need not worry, Getou-san."

They weren't kids anymore. And even though Suguru and Satoru were, in fact, the only Special Grades sorcerers present, there's no doubt in his mind that Nanami and Haibara, with their skills, experience and determination would do everything to defeat this one.

So Suguru lifted Satoru into his arms and ran to safety.

"There are rumors that Nanami and Haibara are going to be ranked as Special Grades soon."

Suguru smiled at Shoko as he stroke the back of Satoru's pale hand - the one beautified with his ring - with his thumb. "Good, they both deserve it."

"It raises the stakes for both of them, but I'm sure they could handle it." Shoko placed her palm on Satoru's forehead, tutting at the temperature, even though she had done well using her RCT on him. "Though on the other hand, I'm glad that this way, you both could catch some slack."

"You and me both." Shoko smirked at him while giving his shoulder a squeeze, before motioning for a smoke outside. He left her be, after all, barging into her office with an unconscious Satoru had probably been stressful for her. Even if she had told them many times that she was used to it.

"'Guru?"

Suguru sighed as his husband finally opened his glassy, dazed eyes. "Hey, you scared the crap out of me."

"Didn't mean to," Satoru said softly. He was still having a hard time breathing because of the fever. "'thought I could handle it."

"We need to send a thank you basket to our juniors. They saved our asses today."

Satoru hummed. "You saved mine too, I'm sure. What do you get?"

"I'm sure you'll make it up to me." Suguru placed a hand on Satoru's cheek. The sick man's reaction was immediate as he turned his face towards the cool hand and moaned in delight. "Do you want to stay or go home?"

"I wanna go home, please."

Suguru lifted Satoru's hand to kiss his palm, ready to oblige his request. "Then let's go home."

When Suguru was ready to take Satoru home, Megumi suddenly appeared all breathless and sweaty, as if he had run a marathon. He distinctly remembered that the younger had a mission today with his classmates.

Megumi eyed Satoru's sleeping form and Suguru's bandaged arms, his expression anxious. "Is he-? A-are you-?"

"He's fine," At the curse manipulator's outright lie, the Shikigami user gave an offended look. "We're fine, I promise. Satoru has a fever, but Shoko allowed us to go home so I could take care of him there. My injuries aren't that serious, I've only got scratches. Don't worry."

Megumi huffed. "We are going to take care of him."

Suguru's jaw dropped when Megumi stomped towards them to grab at their bags and shove them into Suguru's hands. He then gently maneuvered Satoru to carry the older on his back.

It wasn't a hard feat, seeing as Megumi had his growth spurt and tall as he was, Satoru was more lean than broad-muscled like Suguru or their son. Satoru didn't even stir when jostled, either he was too exhausted or because he instinctively knew that he was safe.

"Don't you have a report to write?" Suguru asked conversationally as they walked to the car.

"I paid Kugisaki and Itadori to do it."

"Itadori-kun wanted payment?"

"I offered... k-kisses..."

Suguru snickered. It was a good thing for Megumi that his dad was asleep, otherwise he'd face his teasing all night.

🖤

Satoru kept kissing him.

He kissed his burnt arms and legs. His wounded stomach and back. Even his slashed cheeks and temple. Every inch of skin he could reach, every bandaged limbs, Satoru made sure to cover them all with kisses.

"You can't keep doing this." Satoru said into Suguru's neck after he was done, his arms around his husband's shoulder as the latter sat leaning back into the pillows that were placed against their bedframe. The Six Eyes holder probably shouldn't be straddling the injured curse manipulator's lap, but once Satoru's landed there, they got comfortable and even Suguru refused to let go.

Suguru said nothing as he rubbed his husband's back instead.

"Stop getting hurt. Stop getting hurt protecting me."

"I'm sorry, but I can't do that."

"You promised me. We promised each other that at least one of us have to stay safe so the kids wouldn't end up alone."

"Satoru-"

"And are you brain-damaged or something? You keep forgetting I'm protected by Infinity. You literally don't need to jump in front of me like some knight in shining armor,"

"Didn't you ask for one to marry you?"

"Suguru, I'm not joking,"

Suguru sighed, "I guess I got reckless in my old age." It's just instincts by now, that he would jump whenever something was ready to hurt Satoru, especially from the back. It's why they rarely go on any missions together anymore, with how curses were getting stronger and they were more protective towards each other even though they maintained the title of the strongest.

These days, he found himself more often paired with Haibara while Satoru was with Nanami. With this, they could rest while the other went on a mission, and when they got back, one of them would always be ready to take care of the other.

Except today they had a mission together, and it ended up in a disaster.

"I'm supposed to be the strongest, but you keep getting hurt."

"We're the strongest together. This one was just a fluke." Suguru reminded him. He kept running his hand through Satoru's hair, kissing his temple in apology, not for protecting him, but for making him worry. "Satoru, look at me?"

The sorcerer reluctantly pulled away to look at Suguru, unshed tears lingering in his eyes. His sniffles broke his heart.

"I'm not going anywhere," He chanted his usual promise, one that he thankfully hadn't broken yet, and hopefully would never. "Now, are you going to take care of me?" The younger brushed they older's tears with his thumbs. Satoru held his wrists while capturing the bandaged fingers with kisses.

"'Course. What kinda husband do you think I am?"

In return, Suguru captured his pouting lips. "The best."

🖤

Those. Fucking. Monkeys.

Suguru wanted to kill them all.

He would kill them all.

I am going to kill them all.

Instead, he answered a phone call.

"Suguruuu! Did you know that KFC has a new product, selling some kind of cake? They had chocolate and nuts flavors, so come with me after you're done with your mission, yeah? Ne, ne, Suguru~"

Satoru.

I don't mind being on top if it's with you.

We're the strongest.

You're my one and only best friend.

Suguru? Promise me you won't leave me alone.

Stay with me.

If he killed them all, he would break his promise to Satoru.

"Satoru." Suguru croaked into his phone. He could hear Satoru shutting up the moment he heard something wrong in his tone. "I need your help."

"Where are you?"

Suguru told him his exact location so Satoru could come get him.

"I'll see you soon, Suguru." The boy promised.

That day, Suguru and Satoru had saved the twins, Hasaba Mimiko and Nanako, the beautiful little girls that would soon be Suguru's and later, both of their daughters.

That day, Satoru had saved Suguru from himself.

Today.

Today was a bad day.

He had lost a little boy and girl, siblings, to a First Grade curse. They died, scared and alone, even before Suguru could reach them.

He had taken his time with the curse, torturing it for hours before giving the final blow.

Afterwards he felt... empty.

When he arrived home, he was greeted by an empty apartment.

It was in the afternoon, the girls were at school, Satoru was on his own mission with Megumi - a First Grade, he remembered them telling him during dinner last night.

And Suguru was alone.

He cried in their home alone for hours.

He laid in bed, thinking the worst things of himself.

A failure.

A weakling.

A terrible son.

A terrible father.

A terrible husband.

A terrible human.

A—

Ring.

His phone was ringing.

He answered.

"Suguruuu, Megumin and I are on our way home! Are you ready for our date?"

Right. They had a date, didn't they? Satoru and him had been looking forward to this because it's the anniversary of their first meeting. Silly, lovable, sentimental Satoru had remembered the exact date thanks to that genius brain of his which could store so many memories.

"Satoru, I..."

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing, but... could we not go outside today?" He shouldn't have been so nervous about the one-sided change of plans, because predictably,

"Of couse! You're at home right now, yeah?"

"Yes,"

"We'll see you soon, Suguru." The man promised.

Satoru is coming for me.

Hanging on to that thought, Suguru closed his eyes. He hugged Satoru's pillow tightly in his arms, as if the small object could protect him from any harm. He didn't know how long he laid there after the call had ended, accompanied only by the ticking clock and the darkness.

He blinked his eyes open when he felt an arm sneaking around his waist and a warm kiss landing on the back of his neck.

"What do you need?", whispered Satoru. He smelled like rain, mixed with the forests and strawberries.

Suguru entwined his hand with Satoru's and placed them against his heart. "Just you."

Finally safe in his husband's arms, Suguru slept.

Suguru felt hot.

He blinked his eyes open to find himself surrounded by furnaces in the form of his daughters. Tsumiki was laying on his left side, her head on top of his heart, while Mimiko and Nanako were lying on his right, with the younger cuddling her sister's back.

He panicked slightly when Satoru was nowhere to be found, but immediately calmed when he could sense his and Megumi's cursed energy coming from the kitchen.

He sighed, feeling so much better than when before he had fallen asleep. He curled his arms tighter around his daughters, each hand absentmindedly patting and playing with their hair.

Soon, he felt Mimiko stirring in his hold, and whatever she did, her sister would follow. "Sugu-Papa is awake!" The younger whispered excitedly, mindful of the still sleeping Tsumiki.

"Are you feeling better now, Guru-Papa?"

He reached out to kiss the crown of Mimiko's head while stroking Nanako's hair. "I'm feeling so much better with all of you here, thank you."

Though they all would always be his and Satoru's babies, he couldn't deny the fact that they have grown. They weren't blissfuly ignorant of their parents' struggles with constant overextertion, nightmares and depression anymore. They understood that Suguru and Satoru had their own battles, and they also knew that they, as their children, could help in their own ways.

And in this case, they way was with cuddles and kisses-

"Good evening, my lovelies~!"

-and dinner in bed, it seemed, as Satoru came barging into their room with a tray of chicken, onigiri, yakitori, and so much more. Megumi followed him by carrying another tray of drinks.

Tsumiki, despite being a heavy sleeper, immediately woke up from Satoru's loudness and the smell of food. The girls all cheered while Megumi winced at the yelling.

My blessings. They're all here with me. I'm not alone.

Surrounded by his family, Suguru forgot the feeling of emptiness he had felt hours ago.

Instead he felt loved and whole.

🤍

"I apologize."

"You brought him back to me. I'm nothing but grateful, Nanami."

"Be that as it may, I was supposed to watch his back, but he had mine instead."

Suguru slapped Nanami on the back. Hard.

"Go buy Satoru those kikufukus he loves so much, and we'll call it even."

Nanami rubbed his own back thanks to Suguru's assault, but his shoulders were now less tense. "No offense, but you're as ridiculous as your husband, Getou-san."

"Respect your elders, Nanami."

When Haibara finally came and dragged Nanami away so he could rest, Suguru slumped on the chair next to Satoru's bed.

"So, according to my encyclopedia of curses-"

"Where is it?"

"In my brain, obviously. According to it, Satoru was attacked by some kind of broken-hearted curse. The only way for him to wake up is for him to receive a true love's kiss from his one true love."

Silence.

"You're kidding."

"I kid you not."

"You're messing with me."

"You enjoy me messing with you."

Suguru pinched the bridge of his nose in frustration. He really wasn't up to playing around right now, he had dinner to make for five hungry children - yes, his husband is one of them - he did not have time for this shit. "Shoko, this type of planning-stuff-so-your-pining-best-friends-would-finally-get-together is old school. It's done. Satoru and I aren't on that stage anymore, we're married for Kami's sake. So if you could do me the favor of stop shitting around, then I would be eternally grateful."

Shoko stared at him in the eyes, unwavering.

"...You're serious."

"Yep."

Fuck this shit, Suguru's out.

It would have been so easy. It should have been that easy.

They have known each other for more than ten years, have fought together, lived together, had sex with each other. Suguru was Satoru's soulmate, his one and only, his blessing, his goddamn husband for crying out loud.

So this case was supposed to be over the moment it opened, because surely Getou Satoru would open his eyes the very second he received this 'true love's kiss' from his one true love, Getou Suguru, yes?

The answer was no because when had Suguru ever had it easy?

Shockingly, unbelievably, it didn't work.

Suguru had never thought that he could be so heartbroken in his life.

"Maybe we don't love each other enough." He murmured defeatedly.

"That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in my life." Shoko crossed her arms while pacing in her office, her heels burning the floors with each step.

Suguru winced. She's right, how could he ever doubt Satoru's love for him. He thought about the many times Satoru had taken care of him, how he cried for him and how he had saved him, not just during missions or from Suguru's self-hatred, but that he saved him every day, just by being Satoru.

"Maybe I don't love him enough." Shoko smacked his face with one of her books. Suguru flung it aside.

"That's just bullshit."

"It doesn't change the fact that I did leave him once."

"But during that time, did you ever stop loving him even once?"

"No."

"There you have it. And then you came back and stayed. Doesn't that count for something?"

"I-" The woman sat at the coffee table, getting right into Suguru's face, making the man who was sitting on the couch lean back slightly.

"Suguru, you have known each other since high-school. You became the strongest together, fell in love and made a family. You went through so much together for you to doubt Satoru or yourself."

Suguru stared at her with wide eyes for what felt like hours before he finally relented. He chuckled, thanking whatever Kami there was who had chosen one Ieiri Shoko to come into his life. "What would we do without you, Shoko?"

"Dead. Definitely dead."

One day turned into three. Three days turned into a week. A week turned into one month.

The situation had went from ridiculous to downright worrying.

With Shoko's and his family's approval, Satoru was moved from Jujutsu high's infirmary to their home. Suguru and Tsumiki were taught by the good doctor on how to change Satoru's IV every day so he could keep receiving fluids and nutrients.

Megumi was tasked with delivering new ones every other day. Tsumiki, Mimiko and Nanako spent time with Satoru the most, the three had shifted their morning and evening classes, making effective schedules so at least one of them would keep Satoru company whenever Suguru and Megumi went on missions.

Suguru and Satoru really did have the best kids.

Their students came to visit a lot, mostly Itadori and Kugisaki. Panda, Inumaki, Maki and Yuuta visited less because they had more missions than the first years, but they always came bearing gifts. Maki, in particular was always ready for a sparring session so Suguru and Megumi could let out their frustration.

Even Yaga came once in a while, more to give information about what the Higher-ups were up to so Suguru could get a heads-up. His eyes always lingered on Satoru's sleeping form and Suguru's stressed out face when he was heading out, the teacher in him never seemed to be able to relax when knowing that his students were suffering.

Shoko occasionally came with Haibara and Nanami. The former more so to check on Satoru's progress with the two latter wanting to make sure that the Getou-Gojo family was as okay as they could be.

Suguru and Satoru had been blessed with many friends and students that they could count on.

We're all waiting for you to wake up, my love. So, why don't you?

When he came home, he observed fondly at this sight:

Nanako was almost finished manicuring Satoru's limp hands. She often did that when she had anxiety, just like her sister who opted to braid Suguru or Tsumiki's hair. Mimiko was laying on the white haired man's other side, sleeping while hugging his side, her expression peaceful in her father's hold. Tsumiki was reading a book on her parents' settee, while Megumi was sitting at Suguru's desk, struggling with his homework.

They turned their heads when Suguru greeted them.

"I brought takeout." He offered, making them all cheer. The loud noises wouldn't wake Satoru up anyway, so why bother with being quiet.

It's almost laughable, them surrounding a comatose Satoru while eating KFC. But despite being used to it, they were in silent agreement that they missed him.

Satoru's children missed his voice, his teasing, his warm hugs, his reassuring presence.

Satoru's husband missed his touches, his smile, his baby blues, his... his everything.

"Time for bed." Suguru suggested, and his children moved in response.

Mimiko and Nanako kissed Satoru's cheeks each. Tsumiki pressed her lips on Satoru's knuckles. Surprisingly, Megumi followed his sisters by giving Satoru's forehead a quick peck.

"Not a word," The boy grumbled before leaving the room in a hurry. They all laughed at his weirdly cute way of showing affection.

Suguru shook his head fondly, before bowing down to give Satoru a goodnight kiss on the lips.

Suddenly, when he was ready to receive his own goodnight kisses from his girls, he heard a moan.

The girls froze.

Megumi ran back into the room.

They watched as Satoru blinked his eyes open, his baby blues that his husband and children hadn't seen in a month were opened.

Satoru was awake.

His eyes took in his surroundings, he was probably confused as to why his family was watching him like he had grown two heads in his sleep.

"Good morning~?"

Then, all hell broke loose.

"Your one true love isn't me, huh?"

"I think it used to be only you, until the kids came." It turned out, Getou Satoru's one true love was Getou Suguru. But it was also Getou Tsumiki, Getou Megumi, Getou Mimiko and Getou Nanako.

"Now it's all of us?"

"Now it's all of you." Satoru gave him an ethereal smile.

Suguru placed his head on Satoru's shoulder, letting the older man take his weight as he played with his husband's long hair. They watched their children, friends and students play on the Okinawa beach in comfortable silence. Soaking on the sun and happiness.

"You know, when I was asleep, I had a dream."

"What was it about?"

"We had another baby."

Suguru pulled away to see Satoru already looking right at him. Dark purple eyes met a pair of sky blues. "Yeah? A boy or a girl?"

"Can't remember. But now that I think about it, I want to give Megumi a baby brother."

"The baby's going to be spoiled rotten, then." Satoru smiled brightly as Suguru practically agreed to them adopting another child.

"Yeah?"

Suguru answered by taking his chin with his point finger and thumb, and gave him a kiss.

Another person would be added to his list of 'one true love'. Satoru had so much to be thankful for.

🖤🤍

Notes:

Satoru took Suguru's name after they got married (he's still the Gojo-clan head, but being the head, he's free to call himself anything he wants). The pair of husbands also officially adopted their children, making Tsumiki, Megumi, Mimiko and Nanako all Getous too. I made the rules. Hoho.
