The two hero classes are sat in the auditorium.
They have no idea what’s going on, only that Principal Nezu will be making an announcement.
They whisper about what it could be.
“Maybe a rescue exercise?” Ponders Ochako.
“Nah, I think it’s a dance competition!” Mina exclaims.
“Shut the fuck up Raccoon Eyes, they’re gonna fucking tell us.” Growls Bakugou.
Izuku would have thrown in a guess too, but it is then that Nezu and Present Mic walk onto the stage.
Of course, the other teachers are there too I guess.
“Welcome, hero students. I’m sure you are all wondering why I have called you here.” Nezu begins.
The 40 students agree.
“Well, I would like to announce that the annual week-long first-year Heroes Vs Villains exercise is soon to begin!” Nezu announces.
The students are happy. They’d completely forgotten about this!
“Of course, like every year, there is one important rule,” Principal Nezu says, “Which is that you must choose a fictional character of your given side and stay in-character as much as possible!”
“Aww…” Most of the students groan. They don’t like acting, apparently.
Of course, some are more excited, and no less than Midoriya.
He’s always wanted to participate in this! He’s often fantasized about acting like Superman and saving the city.
As the students calm down, he waits patiently.
“Of course, as with every year, we must choose our team captains! First, the Hero Team, who’s leader must lead them all to victory.” Principal Nezu says, and looks at Mic, who nods.
As he pulls a lever, a giant screen appears behind them and begins cycling through pictures of the 40 Hero Course Students.
“Now, let’s see who it will be!”
The screen goes fast, nobody even able to differentiate what pictures are showing up on the screen.
Eventually, it slows down, landing on Katsuki Bakugou.
“Katsuki Bakugou will be the Hero Team Leader! Rock on, Kid!” Present Mic announces.
Some cheer, Bakusquad included of course, but Midoriya is hesitant.
Maybe he’ll have to join the Villains on this one…
“And now, Our Villain Team Leader!” and the screen cycles through the remaining 39 pictures.
It cycles and cycles and cycles, before slowing down and landing on…
Izuku Midoriya.
“Izuku Midoriya will be the Villain Team Leader! Fuck ‘em up, Kid!” Present Mic announces, getting an elbow in his side.
“Language, Present Mic. Now, those are our team leaders! If you have any questions, feel free to ask! The Exercise begins in 3 weeks, so use them wisely.”
And so, Nezu leaves.
Midoriya is literally going insane.
Why him? Why not someone else? He can’t handle this.
“Bakugou, Midoriya, stay behind please.” Midnight announces, and they do.
“I’m gonna fucking BURY you, Deku.” Bakugou growls at him.
Midnight calls the both of them over.
“Aright, you two. Now, I need you to read the rule books for your teams. They tell you everything you are and aren’t allowed to do out there. Understand?” Midnight looks at the both of them.
“U-understood.”
“Fuckin’ Whatever!”
“Good. Now, make sure to use the Three Weeks to the fullest, you two!” Midnight says as they leave.
Alone in his dorm, Midoriya deices that now is the time to read the rulebook.
He opens, and…
“...what?”
The only rules are:
“1. As long as it is reversible, any and all physical and mental torture is allowed.”
And:
“2. Feel free to use any means to win.”
This is going to be interesting.
