Chapter 1: As they floated through the forest they called home they saw a little treehouse with a flag with the letters “ASL” inscribed on it.
Could it be other humans from the village? they haven’t seen any since they were cast out to die at age two simply because of their right eye. In a world full of strange fruit that gave you magic but at the cost of your ability to swim, it was strange to see themselves shunned from society for their innate magic abilities.
