The Dream of the Fisherman's Cook

Summary:

Sanji sighs looking at his lewd painting with an octopus to distract himself... Of all Grand Line he had to fall in love with marimo.

Work Text:

Sanji sighs loudly while pushing his captain out of his kitchen for the third time in a row.

‘’Oh, octopus grant me your strength.’’

The cook sighs again looking at his panting of the ‘’Dream of the Fisherman’s wife.’’ Nami had called him disgusting to have that on the boat, but it was his kitchen goddamn it and it was ART. First, it made him remember to never forget All Blue with the cephalopod personifying his dream and two, he told everyone it was for the beautiful woman in the painting, he said it's like in a dream he had. The truth was in the very vivid teenage dream he had, he was in the place of the woman. But no one had to know the truth. He loved women and he was a man with standards. He likes pretty ladies and makes them smile. He could do it with exquisite beverages and delicious pastry, to woo them with compliments and attend to their needs. Not saying men weren’t interesting. A handsome man could make his head spin, but they were rare and so much unrefined compared to the ladies.

SO WHY WAS THAT GODDAMN MARIMO SO ATTRACTIVE? OF ALL THE MEN THEY MET?

Sanji takes a long drag of his cigarette, watching Zoro training on the deck in frustration. He had absolutely no interest in the swordsman when he first met him at Baratie, the perfect definition of an oaf. He failed to see what Luffy saw in him. So he is still perplexed at what changed, what made him soften to the green-haired man. It was at Long Long Ring Island he stopped and admired the man. And he truly stared and looked.
The blond huffs and throws his cigarette in the sea. He doesn’t want to think about it for the moment. The day is great, the sun is out and the water is crystalline. Usopp, Franky, Chopper, and Luffy are enjoying the water for a bit while the boat is slow because of some sort of atmospheric conditions.

Sanji turns around and slides to their navigator with a tropical drink in his hand.

‘’Nami-Chwan!! Here’s some Palomino, fresh and crisp for the weather!’’

‘’Thanks!’’ Answers the redhead, not even looking at him.

‘’Don’t even imagine I forgot about you, Robin’’ Continues Sanji with a wink.

‘’Thank you. What have you made for Zoro?’’ Asks the archeologist with a glint in her eyes.

Sanji frowns. Of course, she noticed. No one can hide anything from Robin.

‘’He’s a simple man. Sake, of course.’’ Answers the cook.

At the mention of alcohol, Zoro turns his head to the blond. The cook walks toward the swordsman, holding out a bottle of ice-cold sake.

‘’It’s the least you could do.’’ States Zoro sarcastically.

‘’The least I could do is poison it.’’ Retorts the blond.

‘’It’ll just make the booze stronger. I’ll still be able to kick your ass for it.’’

Sanji rolls his eyes. He hates how cocky the first mate looks. His heart has a truly weird way of choosing who he falls for.

They hear Franky, Brook, and Usopp cheers and a splash. Sanji goes toward them. A dip wouldn’t be unwelcome; the boat is rarely stationary between trips. Nami had to make some adjustments. Chopper and Luffy are covered in floaties and are trying their best to swim. They both look nervous but still smile nonetheless.

‘’Sanji! Come in the water!’’ Asks the reindeer.

‘’Too slow, cook!’’ Shouts Zoro, jumping in the water first.

Luffy laughs loudly and swims toward his first mate, more wiggling towards him among his many floaters.
Sanji looks at the bottom of the water. He didn’t notice at first, but there were stars in the water. Not sea stars, space stars, dancing in the waves. It looks like the night sky right under the currents. He hears their captain giggle, with Zoro manhandling him with ease in the currents.

‘’Cook! Got cold feet?’’ Calls out the green-haired man.

Sanji gets out of his reverie and removes his shirt. It’s been a couple of weeks they didn’t stop to enjoy the water for frivolous reasons. He gasps when he feels the cold splashes. He pushes Chopper back near Franky as he makes some laps to warm his muscles.

‘’Everything okay, girls?’’ Asks Usopp.

They see one dismembered Robin’s arm making a thumbs up. Even with floaters, the archeologist preferred to stay out of the water and Nami had been the first to swim and is taking a pause. Brook refused because he didn’t have any meat to feed the fish if the floaters were to slip away.
Sanji stops to stare at the water. The landscape is mesmerizing and what’s even more spectacular is that it’s plain day. He jumps when he feels Roronoa grabs his hand. The man is an incredible swimmer, always silent and so fast.

‘’Want to plunge?’’ Asks the swordsman.

‘’For you to drown me? You can always try.’’ Responds Vinsmoke.

Zoro sneers and pulls the blond under the water. Sanji opens his eyes to look at the beautiful landscape. The salty water doesn’t hurt his eyes anymore. Zoro kicks in the water once and they get deeper. Sanji previously thought the green-haired man was a mermaid because of how fast and confident he was in the water. The water is starry and Sanji can distinguish what look like nebulas of pink and purple. He remembers seeing such a landscape when they were swimming in Little Garden, but it is still as beautiful.
Another kick from the first mate and they’re back at the surface in an instant.

‘’The water is so clear.’’ Smiles the swordsman.

Sanji squeezes the green-haired man’s hand. It feels slimy, somehow. There’s no way there are algae around, they would be too deep unless speaking of his hairs. The swordsman squeezes back playfully and they begin a bras-de-fer in the water.

‘’Boys! Come back! The wind is blowing from the east.’’ Shouts Nami.

The crew climbs back on the Thousand Sunny and dries themselves. Sanji is already thinking of cooking snacks and supper. Once he gets out of the kitchen, the twilight is at its end with its orange now fading in azure. They eat with appetite while Usopp and Chopper re-enact their battles on Drum Island. Sanji smiles softly when he notices Luffy almost dozing off on Zoro’s chest. Their captain must be drained from swimming in the water. Their relationship is endearing, even if his heart tugs a little from jealousy. They’re just good mates… right?

The cook decides to look at the sky behind him instead; he won’t have to think about stuff like emotions at least. The stars are always so bright on the boat. On the islands, they were numerous and wonderful, but on the Thousand Sunny, they seemed radiant with a dazzling cyan hue, their lights reflecting on the waves of Grand Line, giving the entire panorama an enchanting feel.

‘’Stars are always brighter with Zoro.’’ Comments Robin nonchalantly, her arms on the balustrade behind her.

Sanji exhales and looks back at the aforementioned First-mate. ‘’You noticed too. He seems to change the atmosphere where he goes. Even in the waters…’’

‘’It’s subtle, but always with him. I’ve tested my theory.’’

They both watch the first mate carry Luffy to his bed and come back to the crow nest for the night. Zoro is a day sleeper. It comes in handy to monitor the seas from marines’ night attacks.
Sanji and Robin watch the stars shimmer brightly, listening to Nami describing the constellations present. Constellations that shouldn’t be there…

Sanji cracks his neck and shoulders, ready to explore the island. It’s a beautiful lush jungle all around them. The air is thick with humidity and the insects are as big as Chopper, so easy to swat away.

‘’We have half a day here.’’ Comments Nami.

‘’SUPEEEEER! Look at those bananas!’’ Shouts Franky.

Luffy is already running towards the fruits to eat them all. Chopper is readying his bag for medicinal plants and Usopp is shooting all the insects in his vicinity. Sanji walks with Robin toward the future king of the pirate gnawing on a banana.

‘’There are beautiful ruins.’’ Comments Robin, hands trailing on a marble pillar.

‘’And bone chilling! Yohoho!’’ Adds Brook.

‘’Yeah... I might explore.’’ Responds Zoro.

‘’You’re going to get lost!!’’ Shouts Sanji and Usopp in unison.

Zoro huffs at them and walks in a random direction.

‘’The island is not that big. We’ll find him.’’ States Nami.

Sanji looks at Robin softly rubbing dirt away from the ruins to ignore the swordsman. That man is going to get lost again, and he’ll be the one to get him again… But not because he likes it and it gives him a reason to be with Zoro alone when they come back. The archeologist has rosy cheeks from excitation. She inspects the ruins with unfiltered passion. He truly is glad she stayed with them, to enjoy what she does best. He comes to assist her with kicking some trees and lifting rocks to get better access to the foundations.

‘’Look at that statue. It looks like a humanoid coral. Those scriptures are older than Poneglyph… No translation has ever been available.’’ Says Robin.

‘’It’s a Yith!’’ Shouts Luffy, mouth full of bananas. ‘’They lived in the oceans way before anything.’’

Robin stares at him, too stunned for words.

‘’Captain, have you been hiding your history diploma?’’ Asks Usopp.

‘’No… I just… know.’’ Continues Luffy, trailing his words like he spilled a secret.

‘’And what did the Yiths do?’’ Asks Robin, tremors in her voice from excitation.

‘’They were fighting other really old races. The ones that look like octopuses are Star-spawn. We saw a statue in Alabasta, remember?’’

‘’You didn’t even know what a Poneglyph was before meeting Vivi! How do you know that?’’ Asks Nami.

‘’… Someone told me.’’ Answers Luffy, now looking like he wants an escape from the conversation. ‘’Franky! Can you get up this tree?’’

Vinsmoke arches a brow. The rubber fruit user is always full of surprises. Everyone knows Luffy doesn’t lie. However, those stories of ancient races are perplexing. Robin looks ready to corner their captain to fully interrogate him.

Sanji and Franky are cutting down trees to collect the fruits and make a bonfire as the twilight gets near. Everyone is back at the fire, except Zoro, of course.

‘’I’ll go get him!!’’ Shouts Luffy.

Before anyone can catch him, the rubber boy is jumping in the jungle. Sanji sighs, he missed his chance. He’ll go collect them later once the supper is done. For the moment, he tends to Nami and helps Chopper to cut his medicinal herbs.

‘’Look! Found Zoro!’’ Shouts Franky.

The cyborg is holding a big rock covered in moss and puts it on a chair while Chopper and Usopp laugh. Sanji sighs again. How could he fall in love with an idiot who didn’t discern left from right? Oh, maybe it was because he was protecting them with such raw passion. He didn’t hesitate to put his life on the line for Sanji and could always push his buttons, bad and good.

Sanji gets up and stretches in the night air. He goes toward the jungle. The boys had their fun, but now they have to depart the island. After a short walk through bouquets of tropical flowers and lush ferns, he notices Luffy walking near a river, searching on the ground.

‘’Aye, aye Captain. Have you found him? I don’t think he is bathing.’’

‘’Yes. Have you found his skin?’’ Responds Luffy, like it’s the most normal thing in the world.

Sanji stops dead in his tracks, mind reeling from the question. Must have misheard.

‘’His… kin?’’ Asks Sanji.

‘’Skin. If you see something looking like him, tell me.’’

Luffy continues to walk, looking awfully serious. Skin? Sanji rakes his brain trying to figure out what could be Zoro’s ‘skin’. Perhaps it’s a really weird way of saying his clothes? His captain does have quirks. However, there is still no Zoro… and by Luffy’s serious face, it must be important.

Sanji paces in the forest, looking for the green-haired man’s swords, still unsure about the ‘skin’. Those he’ll recognize. He takes his lighter up in the air to illuminate his passage in the leaves. Then he notices the marble column and looks up. The stars are bright, there are even shooting stars…

‘’Wish I could find you Zoro…’’ Says Sanji with a bit of annoyance.

The columns bring him to what looks like a little altar. The atmosphere is somewhat peaceful, but there is some kind of energy hanging in the air, the odour of ozone permeating the area. Something reflects from his lighter. Sanji smiles brightly at the three swords on the ground. He doesn’t understand what went through marimo’s brain to drop his weapon in the middle of nowhere. It was reckless, even if the man had the strength of a beast. He grabs them and a flesh-colored bag is lifted with it. The cook gasps; the bag is long and warm. He drops everything on the ground when he sees a mop of green hair and Zoro’s stretched features without eye globes at the end.
Sanji’s blood drains from his face. The floppy flesh looks exactly like Zoro, to the scars, the mole, the traits. It’s like Zoro removed his skin like an overall and tossed it on the ground. What in the fresh hell is this??

‘’OYE..!! OYE LUFFY!! WHAT THE HELL?’’ Shouts Sanji.

The blonde suddenly feels watched. Like a thousand eyes are looking at him. He takes a deep breath to not irrationally panic. There’s nothing here, it would have already attacked him. It’s just… it’s just very surreal. Zoro will have an explication. Or Luffy will have one…Surely?

‘’Thanks, Sanji!’’ Says Luffy running to him.

The cook already feels better with his captain by his side. He lifts the… flesh bag, still warm, and gives it to Luffy who seems completely calm.

‘’Me and Zoro’ll join you at the boat.’’ Continues the rubber boy, unfazed.

‘‘What… What is that?’’ Asks Sanji, rubbing his hand, perplexed by the warmth coming from the… skin.

Luffy doesn’t answer and sinks into the ferns of the jungle. The blond blinks. What?

Sanji cannot prevent himself from staring at Zoro for multiple days, trying to get himself to go ask questions, but unable to form a sentence more complex than ‘’what the fuck’’ in his head.
At least Zoro came back along with Luffy, in complete flesh, with eyes and firm muscles. He looks entirely normal like nothing happened.

‘’Sanji…? Are you okay? You seem out of it.’’ Asks Nami.

Sanji didn’t even react to seeing her in a bikini.

‘’Yes… Um, I’m okay. Let me get you a snack, Nami-chan.’’ Responds the blond.

‘’SANJI! COME IN THE INFIRMARY! WHAT’S HAPPENING TO YOU!!’’ Shouts Chopper.

‘’No! No! I swear I’m okay.’’

‘’Oi Cook!’’

Sanji turns around and slams his hand by reflex on the shoulder of the first mate. The blond has a full body shiver from the warmth of his skin. It’s the same. Exactly the same when he found it unattached on the island. It’s uncanny.

‘’L-Later. Supper is soon.’’ Says the cook before Zoro utters something.

Sanji feels all the eyes of his crewmates on him when fast walks to his kitchen, but he doesn’t care. It must be a fruit user, a fruit user that took Roronoa’s appearance, like Bonclay, in the most ominous way possible on that island. It’s the only explanation. The imposter even fooled Luffy. But why can’t he stop the feeling of dread… If it’s just a vulgar human or a Fishman, why does it feel like something is staring at his soul? He lifts his head and Zoro is in the porthole waving at him with a worried look on his face.

The swordsman opens the door slowly, like to not startle the blond, and enters with his hands up to his torso in a peace sign. Zoro’s head snaps toward his painting. He looks utterly fascinated before blinking and looking back at Sanji. The First mate usually goes through the kitchen quickly to get his hand on sake before the cook kicks his head, so it must be the first time he sees it properly. He can only deduce Zoro, or what’s supposed to be his crewmate, has a bit of a deviant taste like him.

‘’Can I help?’’ Asks the green-haired man voice trailing.

‘’Who are you?’’ Shouts Sanji, leg up to his neck.

‘’…What?? ’’

‘’Who was the man that helped us in Baratie!’’

‘’…Gin?’’

‘’What was the girl’s name that gave you your dream!’’

‘’Kuina. What the hell is happening fish brain!?? I kinda miss our banters now!’’

Sanji puts his leg down but backs in a corner. Either the imposter has done extensive research or it’s really Zoro. He takes and tries to calm the irrational panic he felt. He pulls the swordsman’s skin to test if it is unstick from its skeleton.

‘’OW! Don’t make me regret offering you help’’ States Zoro.

‘’And since when you help me!? You just want to steal sake behind my back.’’ Retorts the cook. ‘’Get out!’’

‘’Ungrateful birdbrain.’’ Mumbles the first mate getting out.

Sanji tries to forget the worried face of marimo. It looked genuine. His heart tugs, and those genuine emotions on his crewmate’s face are what make him cling to a thin string of hope; when Zoro looks happy to see him, when he worries for him, when he makes sure the cook is comfortable in making shift camp on islands. Seas, he’s a hopeless romantic.
The cook groans. His kitchen smells like ozone.

This time he’s following marimo. Too many questions left unanswered. Zoro and Luffy were vague at best when he finally got the courage without being overcome with dread to ask them what the ‘skin’ was. They were hiding something. Zoro or whatever was taking Zoro’s place is hiding something and Sanji needs peace of mind.

They are in a raggedy port city with muddy water. Every sailor and fisherman looks ready to shank travelers for some belli. The odor of rotten fish and burnt wood gives them the color of their stay.

Once they have beaten up enough bandits to be left alone, they begin to explore and search for some provisions at the dilapidated shops. Roronoa immediately gets lost of course, but Sanji follows him silently. He is absolutely discouraged but also amazed by the capacity of the first mate to pass seven times by the harbor, take the shadiest backstreets, and then the roofs to finish on a beach without finding one shop to buy things. The cook will have to thank Robin for taking care of the provisions.
However, the blond will have to give it to Zoro, the beach he found is idyllic with its white sand and delicate flowers; a clear contrast to the decaying city.

Zoro is looking at the sky for a moment. The cook takes a breath to calm down. The first mate hasn’t noticed him for all his zigzags, why does he feel like Zoro is about to jump on him? He feels like he shouldn’t be there. Everything feels unsettling suddenly. He feels like he’s about to see something forbidden.
Vinsmoke jumps out of his skin when he hears bones cracking and splashing sounds. The green-haired man has jumped in the water. He vaguely sees a shape jerking erratically in the water with moist ripping sounds and more bones cracking. Then just the sounds of the waves and he feels bile going up his throat when Zoro’s ‘skin’ is pushed by the waves on the sand. This is so wrong. But he has to see what kind of Devil fruit it is. But it makes no sense; the swordsman is like a fish in the water…

Sanji slowly, but surely gets to the skin on the beach. His heartbeat almost stops when he sees it twitching on the sand. He takes it in his shaking hands to inspect it better.
The cook shouts loudly when a bullet hits his foot.

‘’Hands over the money, pretty boy.’’

A thief wearing a cowl puts a gun to the blond forehead. Sanji takes a breath and regrets it. The robber smells like stale alcohol and piss. Of course, he didn’t hear him; he was obsessed with his crewmate’s still-warm skin. His heart beats so loud he has difficulty hearing the bandit barking orders. He’s not supposed to be here. He feels like doom is going to come get him. Even the pistol whip from the second bandit doesn’t snap him out.

They all hear a blood-curdling shriek. It’s distorted beyond words; no animals could have possibly made it. The thieves back off and the cook tries to get up on his injured feet.

They all shriek in terror when they see… something. It’s like a mass of twitching flesh climbing the rocks; it has eyes and tentacles, and its shape is beyond grotesque with oozing crystals. And oh god, it’s quick.
Sanji turns around. He can’t even process to fight, it’s flee. He stumbles in the sand from his injured feet and utter panic. He staggers to get up to run away with his crewmate’s skin, but fear numbs his limbs. Nothing is comparable to the icy feeling of pure terror that wracks his body. He watches the bandits shrieking in fear, clawing at their eyes, and running away as fast as they can, almost jealous of them.

Sanji stays on the ground, accepting whatever happens, holding Zoro’s flesh tight against his torso. The air is still. It feels like time stopped. After what feels like an eternity, nothing happens to him. He resolves to look at the thing.
He exhales a breath he didn’t know he was holding and he sits up. It’s shapelier now. It resembles an octopus with three crab claws along the tentacles. It’s a dark red color, and the texture of the appendages looks like bare muscles and with eyes all over it. There are twitching crystals over his body and these crystals are the colors of space, with stars and greenish nebulas in them.
It’s not attacking him so Sanji can finally calm down. He’s trembling like a leaf.

‘’By the four fucking seas, what are you…’’ Exhales the blond with a broken voice.

‘’An octopus.’’

‘’NO FUCKING WAY.’’

‘’A magic octopus from All Blues.’’

‘’…Wait, really?’’ Squeals Vinsmoke in a whisper.

Sanji zeroes on the eyes. The irises are grey. The octopus’s voice might be distorted, but he still recognizes it. He knows that voice.

‘’ZORO????’’ Gasps the blond. ‘’IS THAT YOU!!???’’

‘’Fuck Sanji!! You… I didn’t plan for you to see me like this! Are you okay??’’

The blond can’t close his mouth. He stares at Zoro. The more he looks, the better he feels. It’s… somewhat soothing to know it’s his friend.

‘’I’ve got your skin.’’ Says Sanji in a tiny voice.

The cook holds up the human flesh. Zoro takes it in one of its claws and he slides in the water. Sanji gets up slowly, looking at the water splashing and bone creaking again. He finally sees the swordsman getting out of the water, his eyeballs rolling into his socket. Now he’s back to human looking like nothing happened.

‘’I must have scared you shitless.’’ States Roronoa.

‘’… I’m not going to lie, it was intense.’’ Responds the blond in a perplexed voice. ‘’I feel… I feel better.’’

‘’It’s an aura I have. I usually keep it low, but I wanted to chase them away…. I noticed you too late.’’

‘’It’s... It’s okay. I was the one snooping.’’

Zoro’s eyes are worried. The first mate takes Sanji’s shoulders and pulls him for an awkward, moist hug. The cook returns the hug, feeling the residual fear seeping away slowly. It’s truly comforting, somehow.

‘’I’m from the stars.’’ Says Zoro.

‘’Luffy knows since when?’’ Asks Sanji.

‘’The beginning. He found me held captive in Shell Marine base.’’ Answers Zoro. ‘’We spoke a lot until we found Nami.’’

Of course, Luffy saw a cosmic octopus and asked it to be his first mate. The blond chuckles imagining the scene. He pulls the cover on his torso, staring at the iridescent shooting stars. It finally answers how marimo survived his encounter with Mihawk on Baratie, Kuma on Thriller Barks, and why enemies were running away yelling about a demon from Zoro’s fights.

Vinsmoke had come on the deck to look at the stars under the tangerine trees. Zoro had joined him for some obligatory explanations after helping Brook and Franky repair the damage made by bandits on the Thousand Sunny.

They were both lying on the grass, the atmosphere serene with the waves crashing against the boat.

‘’What about… This human form?’’ Asks the cook.

‘’It was given to me.’’ Begins Zoro, stretching lazily. ‘’There was a group venerating us. The grand priest sent me to fulfill the wish of one of its members… Kuina. We have so few followers since the sea seems to have forgotten us. They teach me about the human world. I sometimes remove it, it’s a bit constricting.’’

Well, the grand priest has good taste in making a human body. Sanji brushes his finger on the swordsman's bicep, making sure it’s real.

‘’Do you miss… space?’’ Asks the blond.

‘’Not now. I’m way older than Brook and it’s my first time exploring a planet and meeting its inhabitant.’’ Answers the First mate.

‘’If the grand priest calls you…’’

‘’I answer.’’

Roronoa turns to him and squints looking at his face. The cook might have been anguished to know Zoro can disappear anytime.

‘’You don’t want me to go…’’ The green-haired man stares at him with an unbearable intensity. ‘’Do you like me?’’

Sanji takes a sharp breath. He feels like a fly pinned under Zoro’s gaze and is cared of lying, scared that Zoro will know his deception if he does. He cannot even think of banter to distract marimo.

‘’Y-yeah? And what about it?’’ Asks the cook, trying his hardest to keep his composure.

‘’With the kisses and stuff?’’

‘’Y-yes Zoro.’’

‘’Care to explain to me the ritual of the kisses? Luffy was not very helpful.’’

Sanji barks a laugh. ‘’It’s just… a very telling sign that you love someone.’’

Zoro blinks, seeming stumped. The cook turns his head back to the sky to escape the First mate’s soul-searching gaze. He still doesn’t know if the swordsman likes him back. He had time to think about his crewmate’s tentacles and way too many eyes and he figured he wouldn’t mind sleeping on his torso or his moist tentacles. He also had wild fantasies, but that’s none of his business for the moment.

‘’A-and you? Do you like me?’’ Asks the blond.

‘’Luffy tried to explain to me love? I think. He spoke a lot about meat.’’ Begins Roronoa, unsure. ‘’I do feel… possessive of all of you. What does it bring… to love you? It rather seems something exclusive.’’

‘’Well… It brings emotional and physical intimacy… I admit it’s a bit hard to explain in theory. Just know you might be the first person I turn to for a lot of things…’’

‘’I have nothing to lose to try it with you practically then.’’

Sanji feels his heart stops. Zoro turns to him and props on his elbow to kiss his cheek, then a chaste kiss on his lips. The cook feels a rush of excitation course through him with his heart beating fast. He pulls Zoro to him, kissing gently, trying to teach the alien. It feels nice. The situation is beyond anything he could have imagined.

The blond pushes his tongue against the green-haired man’s lips and Zoro opens his mouth. Sanji groans in the kiss. Finally tasting Zoro after all this time almost makes him melt. Almost.

Sanji groans once again when the alien goes for a second serving, heat pooling in his lower abdomen. He begins to kiss the swordsman’s neck, raking his nails against his back. Roronoa pushes him on the grass, staring at him with poignant interest.

‘’It’s the same energy as when you were chasing ladies.’’ States Zoro.

‘’It’s lust.’’ Responds Sanji.

The blond gasps when Zoro opens his shirt and strokes his chest. The cook squirms under the First mate’s touches. He exhales a ragged breath when his newfound lover bends and kisses his chest and teases his nipple.

‘’You’ve got good ideas…’’ States Sanji.

Zoro’s eyes look up with sparkles of excitation. He kisses the blonde’s neck and hums. Sanji groans when his lover nibbles and sucks. He slides his hands on his marimo’s back, feeling the dampness of sweat… or maybe seawater. He imagined for a brief moment the swordsman's true form taking him, bending him to his will… Just like the painting in his kitchen. Just like his dream.
Zoro lifts his head and his eyes zeroes on him like a predator on its prey. He opens his mouth and a reddish tentacle slithers out, immediately rubbing and pinching the blonde’s nipple. The cook makes a loud gasp and leans into the touch. It definitely feels good and his heart thumps in his chest from adrenaline. He wraps the tentacle with his hand and strokes it. The swordsman makes a drowned groan.

‘’You… also feel lust looking at the painting in the kitchen, something like me. Give me a second….’’ Says Zoro, voice distorted and sounding like it’s underwater.

The first mate gets up and disappears in the shadows of the tangerine trees. Sanji gets apprehensive when he hears the sounds of bone snapping and wet skin ripping. Excitation pools in his stomach and he can feel his heartbeat beating in his ears. Two tentacles grab his ankles and drag him across the grass. Zoro in all his eldritch glory wraps him in more tentacles, his claws staying on the ground. Vinsmoke loses his breath, the personification of his wet dream, holding him defenseless in its grip. His cock throbs against his underwear.
The cook whimpers when the appendages slide under his shirt, and his pants and rub his skin, stroke and grope, leaving goosebumps and shiver in their wake. He’s even bigger up close. The cook grabs his lover’s octopus head and places a kiss between eyes and crystals. He hisses when the tentacles slide into his underwear, they’re cold, but the rubbing against his erection swiftly becomes warm.

‘’Z-zoro, what can I do for you?’’ Asks Sanji. He’s feeling fantastic, but his knowledge of the sexuality of spatial cephalopods is limited.

‘’Just enjoy.’’ Answers the alien.

With that said, Zoro strokes all his tentacles across Sanji. The blonde squirms under the erotic massage, his cock throbbing, and tries to grab the nearest tentacles to stroke them. His erection twitches and he kicks down his pants to give better access to the First mate. He moans loudly when his lover wraps an appendage around the entire length of his erection, then a second one and his toes crook when they twist in different directions. He arches his back into the touch, trying to muffle his moan to not wake up the whole crew.

Sanji tries to buck his hips to fuck into the tentacles, but Zoro grips his legs with two of his claws and folds them on his chest. He gasps when he feels a tentacle gently caressing his ass. He blushes when he notices all his lover’s eyes are staring at him for an answer. He nods and he groans loudly when the swordsman puts pressure on his hole. The tentacle is wet enough that it feels like a tongue. His erection spurts precum under the ministrations. He wants to hold the longest he can; to burn it into his memory. His whole pelvis is warm and his legs tremble from the stimulation. He bites his lower lips when it circles his entrance, slightly pushing, teasing. His cock is weeping and he wills himself to not beg, not yet. He lifts himself to look at his lover, the hulking mass of tentacles, staring at him, caressing his burning skin.

The cook’s eyes roll back into his head and he chokes a groan when Zoro’s tentacle smoothly slides inside him, stretching him deliciously. He squirms and cries out when two more appendages harshly rub his nipple. Every touch on his body feels like a wave of electricity, travelling to his lower back. His hands flail and grab one of the alien’s claws for support. He pulls it near him to kiss it while tense from feeling the tentacle in his ass going deep and rubbing hard against his prostate. A tentacle slides into his mouth. He sucks it unconsciously, moaning around it. It tastes like diluted seawater. The tentacle makes sure to rub his prostate, to plunge deep and make him feel every inch and sucker on it. Vinsmoke cries out when the tentacle in his ass twist while thrusting fast. His ass clenches and flutters in agonizing pleasure. He gasps when he feels a second tentacle trying to push inside him, stretching his rim in a delicious burn. He makes a choked cry as he reaches climax almost immediately, Zoro stroking his erection slowly, rubbing its tentacles hard against his gland. He spills all over his chest, seeing stars and holding his breath from the intensity, the spasms of pleasure coursing through his body.

Sanji slumps down panting on the grass, sweaty and slimy. He vaguely hears Zoro slipping sloppily back into his skin before he feels his human form pressing against him.

‘’That was nice…’’ Says Zoro kissing his forehead.

‘’Nice is way too humble.’’ Responds Sanji, fishing cigarettes into his discarded pants.

He knows what he'll dream about tonight.
