Chapter Text
The first time we met, I felt it; that spark,
Your eyes met mine, that blue ever-so dark,
Your lips curled up, pulled back in a snarl,
Your pale fist, clenched tight, made me see stars,
I know it ain't right, I heard all Ali’s stories,
But I can't help it, your pretty smirk crossing unknown territories,
I know you ain’t good for me, my face all bloody and bruised,
But I still want you, and sh*t it makes me so d*mn confused!
I need you, Johnny, like a fish needs water,
But I f*ckin’ hate you; makin’ my blood pump hotter,
You scare me, when you chase me with that mean gang o’ yours,
And you excite me, the way you hold my collar tight, makin’ me want more.
That lithe frame and those toned arms; ain't no girl could compare,
And when I hold Ali, I can’t help but continue to stare,
You know, I never wanted her, I just didn’t want you to hurt her,
And now, with you yellin’ in my face about it, jealousy stirs.
God, in those moments, I wish I could be her, or atleast a girl,
With Ali’s pretty pink smile and those wild, thick curls,
I wish you could see the way that I looked at you,
And I wish you could maybe feel the same way too.
But now I think my wish ain't gonna ever come true,
As I land that kick on that pretty face; my desperate debut,
I hear the crowd roar and my thoughts are quickly silenced,
My feelings for you are muffled, but never truly quiet.
Do you think we’ll ever be in love?
