Chapter Text
Where the hell was the coffee again?
You should start rearranging things here, It was hard enough to try and find stuff you've misplaced - too lazy and tired to put them back to their original spot.
"Baby, how could you misplace a plastic container of coffee?" Your mother asked through the phone on the table as you continued to search, you could practically hear her amusement and dishonor towards you.
"I've just been so tired these days, mami. I forget to put them back," You yelled back so she could hear you - peering in cabinets, and finally setting your eyes upon the container of brown substance.
"Yes, there you are!"
"You found it!" Your mum giggled, playfully congratulating you for this outstanding achievement.
"Hahaha, anyways... The move is great so far, witnessed some jerk-ish people here who think they're the boss or something." You picked up the phone to face your mother, who was in bed as it was her day off.
"It's nothing we haven't dealt with before, I'm sure you can handle it. Have you met the neighbors?"
"Eeehhhhh... I'm working on it."
"[Y/NNN]...."
"Mamiiii...."
"You can't just stay inside all day, you have to get out and have fun! Before you deal with the problem, life itself."
"That's kind of dark, don't you think?"
"I can be dark as well, sweetie." Your mother giggled at your face as you placed the thermos onto the stove. "At least make sure you get a job quickly. I don't like seeing you struggle."
"I'll be fine, mami." You reassured her, giving her a smile that would hopefully calm your mother. "I actually was able to find a wanted flier for a nearby cafe, they even serve ice cream! How awesome is that?"
"That sounds nice, sweetie! But please don't tell me that you only felt interested in its ice cream..."
"I love ice cream-"
"Yes, but don't make it the reason why you get fired."
"Mamiiii...."
"I'm just kidding, hehe... but you know!" Your mother yawned audibly, and you turned just in time to see it.
"Mum, you should rest now."
"I don't want to though, I want to talk to you more." She pouted, in a playful manner. It almost made you laugh, but you insisted she get to sleep.
"Okay, okay, I'll get some sleep. Love you, baby!"
"I love you too, mum, goodnight."
