"Ahjussi!" Yoosung whines. "Gilyeong took chimera again!"
"What? No! I took titano!"
"Liar!" Yoosung shot back. sigh "Gilyeong. give chimera back i know titano is a mantis plushie, not a dragon hybrid."
"Ahjussi, chimera is a chimera!" Yoosung said sounding offended. i find it ironic it's name and it's.. supposed species is the same name. "But Dokja-ssi!-" I gave him an unconvincing look before he gave up and handed the chimera plushie back pouting. "What happened to titano then?"
ah, that was it. gilyeong started sobbing.
"H-he got put into the wheel of destruction dokja-ssi!" for instance, wheel of destruction meant a washing machine. "He'll come back Gilyeong, there- there." i patted his back softly as he hugged my waist. "hah, cry baby." gilyeong stopped hugging me and turned to a smug looking shin yoosung. "what?!" gilyeong said sounding angry. "I said you're a cry baby!"
"Shin Yoosung!-" before i could finish Yoo Sangah, another teacher came in. "What's going on Dokja?" She said smiling softly. Ah, Yoo Sangah. the 8 year old child whisperer and a goddess herself. "Noona! Yoosung called me a cry baby!" Sangah chuckled. "Ah-ah yoosung, that isn't a very nice thing to say to people."
"but he took chimera away from me!-"
"Dokja-ssi got you it back though, did he not? there's no more reason to fight then."
"..okay noona." sangah then smiled. i really do envy her skill in calming fights between 8 year olds.. "Ah right! Dokja-ah there's going to be a new kid soon, her guardian will be dropping her off. Could you please go get her and introduce her to the others? I'm a bit busy so I'm asking you." naturally, i agreed. she has helped me a lot during my first days and the reason i could get biyoo registered for free for working here. "Of course, i'll be right back!" i said before leaving the room.
I waited patiently at the front desk for the supposed new-comer. soon someone had entered and oh god- i felt myself melting. who let this god of a man inside?! The girl who looked like the new girl stared at me, tugged her.. guardian's?.. sleeve and pointed at me. "Oppa, there's a man there." she said expressionless. I noticed the way she called him and assumed that man must be her older brother. her older brother had me on a chokehold. his beauty could not be compared. as he looked my way i flinched. his gaze was so menacing as it washed over me.
"hm." the man said before heading towards me- god what do i do?! i silently panicked before finally managing to calm down enough to talk. "are you her older brother sir?" ah.. what if the man isn't that old?! what if i offended him?!! "sir?" ah. shit. "h-how old are you then?"
"..28." ..we're the same age and i called him sir. "o-oh, i'm sorry. Is she your younger sister then?" the man nodded. "i was told to pick her up from you to introduce her."
"okay—" he then crouched down on one knee to look at the younger girl, "—Mia, be careful. I'll pick you up after 5." the girl nodded then said,
"oppa, i wanna eat tteokbokki for dinner." he then smiled softly before his expression turned emotionless again. "alright, i'll make murim dumplings and tteokbokki for dinner. grade 4 spicy?"" the girl nodded. "okay, be good mia." he then left. come to think of it i felt like i had seen the man before but where? ah forget it, what's important right now is the kid. "what's your name?"
"Mia. Yoo Mia."" ...like brother like sister i guess. "That's a wonderful name Mia! Come on let's show you to the others hm?"" Mia nodded and i gestured her to follow me. "Hey everyone! Meet your new friend. why don't you introduce yourself hm?" I said while smiling. "My name is Yoo Mia but call me Mia. If you try to hurt me my oppa will destroy you." she said smugly. "a-ah well im sure no one wants to hurt you so don't worry! why don't you go make some friends Mia?" Mia looked at me then proceeded to walk towards Yoosung and abyssal. "Hey.." she said quietly. "Hi! My name is Yoosung! This is Abyssal Black Flame Dragon but everyone calls him Abyssal so you should too!" Mia nodded.
I smiled watching them. how cute. just then i felt a small child's hand tug and hold at my finger. it was Biyoo. seems like she woke up from her nap. she rubbed her eye with her free hand and yawned as her long white curly hair fluttered. "ah Biyoo! did you have a good sleep?" i said smiling happily. "baat..." she then nodded indicating a yes. such a shame she doesn't talk much. it didn't matter she was only two. i picked her up before going back to meet Yoo Sangah. "Hey! Dokja! You're back, and hellow biyoo." she then patted biyoos head.
"yeah! the new kid is called Yoo Mia." suddenly Lee Seolhwa walked towards me. "..did she have an older brother?" I nodded. "ah.. wait." Lee Seolhwa then rushed out and i followed her curious. "Mia!" Mia flinched then looked at Seolhwa. "Seolhwa-unnie?" Seolhwa nodded while smiling. "It's been a while hasn't it Mia?"
"yeah!" Mia giggled. "How is your brother?"
"grumpy as always. we're having tteokbokki for dinner!" Seolhwa smiled lightly. "that's great. i haven't seen Joonghyuk in so long."
"Noona should call him." Mia suggested. "Didn't he change numbers?" Mia nodded. "I know his number. Unnie, why don't you come for dinner tonight?"
"i'd love to but we need joonghyuks approval."
"don't worry unnie, i'll make sure he says yes."
"Do you know her Seolhwa?" i asked, curious. "mhm, she's the younger sister of my childhood friend, Yoo Joonghyuk."
"You know him?" seolhwa nodded. "i dated joonghyuk a while back in highschool.. we broke up because i had to go abroad and neither of us wanted a LDR. (Long distance relationship) so we broke up. but.. i.. still have feelings for him. i wonder if it's the same." just then mia spoke up.
"Oppa sometimes talks about you, unnie." upon hearing that seolhwa blushed. watching that made my heart sink. i didn't understand.. i dont even know the man.. ah..~ im still a hopeless romantic after all. "anyways! we should go back to work." Seolhwa suggested and i nodded. the entire day i couldn't think about the fact seolhwa and.. that man supposedly joonghyuk.. ah wait. Joonghyuk.. Yoo Mia.. Yoo.. Joonghyuk?! as in the supreme king?! could that man get any better?! well.. this was gonna be a long day. just then i heard crying. it sounded like uriel.
"waaah!" i walked over to the scene of abyssal, dream, uriel and plotter.. seriously who named these kids?! the only normal name out of the constellation family was uriel! "what happened?" i stared at the scene of a crying uriel, a smug looking abyssal and plotter infront of dream as if protecting the smaller. "waaah!! oppa! abyssal hit me!" ah.. abyssal was always a trouble maker. "and plotter and dream..?"
"hmpf. abyssal tried to scare dream." plotter said glaring at abyssal. behind the plotter was dream on the verge of tears. "ah.." i approached uriel and picked her up. "abyssal, its time out for you. go take a nap or something." abyssal then threw a tantrum. "no! i dont wannna!" i glared at abyssal. god could the constellation family get any more destructive? "abyssal..!" just then jihye walked by and saw.
"what's wrong dokja-ssi?" she then approached the sniffling abyssal. "whats wrong, hm?" abyssal then went into her arms as she picked him up. ah.. abyssal seemed to like jihye alot, "uriel kept mocking me.. so i couldn't hold back anymore!" abyssal declared. "was that true uriel?" uriel who was now flustered and shook her head. "n-no! i didnt do anything." i seemed really unconvinced.
then oldest dream talked. "a-ah.. uriel was mocking abyssal.." uriel then looked at oldest dream in betrayal. 'Oldest Dream..! I thought we were the best sibling duo..!!' uriel mouthed. oldest dream seemed to have understood and even secretive plotter seemed to have caught on. "Oldest dream and i are the best. back off." plotter said. "hmpf!" uriel said as she buried her face into my chest. "so you really did mock abyssal hm? uriel don't do that. you kids are family." uriel nodded and looked back at abyssal. i put her down and jihye also put abyssal down. uriel flushed as she approached abyssal. "..i'm sorry abyssal, can we b-be friends again?" ... "okay." abyssal hesitated before pouting. ah, how cute. "right!—" jihye clasps her hand together. "—it's time to leave. come on!"
i looked at the time and realized it was 5 pm. "ah! right." a body guard came and picked up the constellation family and left. soon other parents and guardians picked up their children too. soon there was only Yoo mia and biyoo left. then the door opened. "Oppa! you took longer than you said!" Yoo mia said pouting. "Sorry mia. i had to get the ingredients for our dinner. "Wah! you should've taken me too."
"and let you fill up the cart with sweets? no way." yoo mia crossed her arms with a 'hmpf!' as yoo joonghyuk took out a candy bar. "uwah!" yoo mia ran to her brother excited. "okay." yoo mia said while chewing on the mars bar. "oppa is forgiven." the man then flicked her forehead lightly. "don't eat with your mouth full." then he turned to face my direction. "was mia good?" he said. wait! he's talking to me?! "a-ah! yeah.. and.. im sorry i called you sir. we're the same age.." he raised an eyebrow and i swore for a second i saw his lips curve slightly!— "it's.. okay. i have to go now." he then turned and left with mia holding his hand. ah,... the more i look at him the more handsome he becomes. i've gotta leave now..!— "Biyoo!-" i called out. Biyoo then walked into the room. "Baaat..." I smiled as biyoo walked towards me. I took my keys nd locked up the place. "Let's go home."
