With anticipation I wait for him to arrive.
Finally he enters the building.
I know I could make him mine, devour him completely while at the same time our atoms would fuse together and become inseparable. But that’s not my intention.
The countdown has begun.
I shift behind him, mimicking his movements.
As he bends forward to watch the upcoming explosion I embrace him from behind.
Part of me enters his body. Knowing that I’ll be closer to him than any human is overwhelming.
“We did it, Robert”, I whisper as we both watch the cloud rise into the sky.
