Summary:

It's more than four questions.

Work Text:

When Tina was but a child, she asked her mother, "Mama, will I fall in love one day?"

Her mother smiled at her and said, "I would not lie to you, my little pumpkin, for I am not certain. But that is something I would beg god for you."

When she was older, taller, and a little bit wiser knowing love comes with pain, she asked her best friend, "is there any way not to fall in love with someone?"

Lally snorted, "If you are asking that question, Goldstein, you've already failed."

When she learned that love comes in all sorts of shapes and forms, and it transcends even the thickest barrier, she asked her sister, "Why do you love him?"

Queenie gave her a sad smile,"It is what it is, Teen."

When Tina understood that love needs no reason, she asked herself, "Do you love him?"

Before Tina could answer, someone knocked on the door of her office, and Newt walked in.

"Are you ready to go home?" He stopped right in front of her desk, waiting for her to wrap up whatever task was at hand. Once she sorted everything out, Tina rounded the desk, her arm in his.

"Absolutely."
