Work Text:
His breath was heavy, labored. He couldn’t feel his legs. Everything around him was green, green, green. There was no end in sight. There was no escape. He was so stupid to think he could escape. He had no idea where he was going. He’d run through the night, too scared to stop, too scared to think about anything past getting away. He’d focused so much on leaving that he’d neglected to think about where he would go.
Izuku Midoriya. Omegan Prince. Shut in. Mystery.
For years he’d been trapped inside that castle, hidden from the world. He understood, to an extent. He was rare, a male omega, and a valuable bartering piece. His mother, the Queen, had ensured his perfection for his future mate. Who the alpha would be didn’t matter—that would be decided when the Kingdom had a need great enough for Izuku to become the bargaining chip.
It's not that Izuku didn’t want to be there to help his people. He did. He’d resigned himself to his fate and he was alright knowing that his marriage would be a way for him to aid the kingdom.
Except, that’s not what ended up happening.
Izuku was so confused when his maids began dressing him in his finest clothes before securing the veil over his face that he was forced to wear anytime he left his own wing of the castle. Usually, that only happened when his mother and father were holding an event that required him to make an appearance to appease the masses. However, as far as he was aware, there was nothing on the calendar.
Then, he had been led into the Throne Room, where the most disgusting smelling alpha he’d ever smelled stood next to his parents. There was a dead look in his eyes as he stared at Izuku’s form. When his mother introduced him as Izuku’s husband to be, he’d panicked. He didn’t know what tragedy had befallen the Kingdom for him to be given away so quickly.
But, when he’d asked his maids what had happened, what had prompted the quick marriage, his eyes had been opened to the reality that his mother had hidden from him his entire life. He wasn’t being married off to the alpha because the Kingdom was in dire straits. Izuku’s marriage was not the last resort in an emergency. He was being married off because the King and Queen wanted more money to line their coffers, and that stinky alpha happened to offer the most in exchange for Izuku.
He knew that night that he wouldn’t, couldn’t stay. He couldn’t allow himself to be bartered off like some prized cattle, never having experienced the world outside of the castle walls. He knew nothing, had seen nothing. His interaction was limited, and his personality forcefully molded to be meek and reserved. He had lived his life in anticipation of giving it away for the good of others and he had been betrayed by the only authority he had ever known.
That night, Izuku ran away.
It was a stupid decision, truly. Izuku had no knowledge, nor strength. He was closely guarded and purposefully ignorant of…everything. But he was cunning, despite everyone’s attempts to paint him otherwise, and he’d managed to escape his guards in the dead of night. That was when he began his run, and he hadn’t stopped since. Too scared of being caught, of being forced to marry that awful reeking alpha.
Now, he was scared of dying.
All through the night, he managed to hear noises over the pounding of his heart and his labored breaths. Every time a twig cracked, he willing himself to go faster, terrified of the guards he was running from and the wilderness that surrounded him. Izuku had been going for hours without stopping, but he wasn’t sure he could continue any farther.
It was as that thought passed through his mind that he tripped over a root made invisible by the darkness that engulfed him. His momentum propelled him forward, and he barely caught himself. With the way his left wrist bent, Izuku almost wishes he hadn’t. He bit his lip, tasting copper as he did his best to avoid screaming in agony. He was sure the wrist was broken; his hands and knees were shredded from the way he slid across the forest floor. It was the most physical pain he had ever felt in his soft, sheltered life.
Tears rolled down fair, freckled cheeks. Izuku felt himself falling into the despair he had been attempting to escape. He would never make it. He curled in on himself, ready to resign to whatever fate would decide, unsure if he preferred to be found by the guards or the creatures that prowled the night first. Whoever found him, he hoped they made it quick.
***
Izuku was surprised, to say the least, when he woke to a sun high in the sky and birds rustling through the trees. His entire body felt swollen. He was so sore. But he was alive. He had not been eaten in the night, nor had he been found. Somehow, he’d managed to do it. He had escaped.
It was a miracle.
Truthfully, he’d never expected to get this far, and now that he had, he was unsure what he was meant to do now. Despite the fact that it hurt like hell, he supposed that the first step should be getting off the ground and continuing on. He was lucky to have made it this far, but that didn’t mean that the guards weren’t still looking for him. He had to get somewhere that he would be safe.
It was harder than he expected to stand up without being able to use one of his hands to push himself off the ground, and his leg was hurt worse than he’d previously thought, but Izuku managed to make his way upright and to slowly begin making his way through the woods once again. About midday, his stomach began to growl, and he was parched. He had hoped he would reach a village or an encampment, or even just a lone homestead by now. Somewhere he could ask for help. He was exhausted, hungry, dehydrated, and disgusting. Coated in sweat and dirt and blood, his skin felt tight.
He truly had been pampered his entire life, hadn’t he?
A few more hours of struggling in the late afternoon heat and Izuku was on the verge of giving up for the day. His leg and wrist were throbbing, and his head was spinning. However, miraculously, the gods blessed him in that moment as he stumbled through the dense trees and into a clearing.
Actually, it was more of an oasis. A beautiful, secluded slice of heaven Izuku felt blessed to see. He had heard, through tales passed down to him by his nurses and maids, that there were areas of the forest where the gods resided. Places of beauty and plenty that were only revealed to those the gods had chosen. They were a gift to behold, they said. They also said that those who were blessed to enter very rarely left. Whether or not they stayed to live in a happy paradise or whether they were lured there as a sacrifice to the gods varied depending on the person telling the story.
To Izuku, none of that mattered. All that mattered to him were the fruits growing in the canopy that shaded the clearing and the crystal-clear water running through it. He had never seen anything so beautiful in his entire life. Jewels and gold and fine fabrics could not dare to hold a candle to the way the water glittered in the sunlight. It beckoned to him, and Izuku heeded the call.
It was as if he was in a trance as he made his way towards the water. As he walked, he began to strip his clothing, leaving a trail behind him. When he stepped into the stream and felt the cool water caressing him in gentle waves, every ounce of pain and stress melted from his body. He let out a sigh of relief. In that moment, he was positive that he would flee his castle again and again for all eternity, just to feel the bliss of the water cradling his body. Perhaps it was controlled by the gods, for there had never been anything so unearthly in Izuku’s life.
He sunk below the surface, happy to sit under the cool water for a moment, completely oblivious to the figure watching from the shade.
***
There was someone in his clearing.
No one knew where his clearing was. None of his men, none of his guards or servants or aids. It was his. His escape from the world. His peace. A way to remove himself from the struggles of being a ruler that controlled with a reputation that inspired fear. Here, in his clearing, he was no longer Blood Riot, Conqueror of Lands and Slaughterer of Dissenters. Here, in his clearing, he could be Eijiro Kirishima, the lonely alpha with too much weight on his shoulders and too many thoughts in his head.
Except for right now. Because there was someone in his clearing.
They arrived at roughly the same time. The other looked worse for wear. Dirty and limping. Obviously unaware of his surroundings. How he had gotten this far into the woods, especially from the direction he entered, Eijiro will never know. It should have been damn near impossible. Then, never once seeming to register his presence opposite him, the newcomer started walking towards him. Eijiro would have been defensive, but it was clear that he hadn’t been seen.
He was taken aback when the figure began to strip. Still, he couldn’t tear his eyes away. He was dirty and bruised, but his body was lithe. It didn’t take much staring for his alpha to awaken inside of him. Omega, it growled. Again and again, a refrain he could feel deep in his bones.
Something protective welled inside of him as Eijiro watched the omega sink into the water. He fought back a croon as he heard a sigh of relief leave his lips. He couldn’t move as bright jade eyes and damp forest curls emerged from the stream and locked onto him.
They stayed like that for a moment. Ruby and emerald locked on each other. One dazed, the other curious.
Eventually, the omega tilted his head to the side, scrunching up his adorable nose before asking in a soft voice that somehow managed to ring through the clearing clear as a bell, “Alpha?”
There was a tension between them. It wasn’t bad. The man didn’t appear to be frightened of him, but Eijiro knew better than to approach a vulnerable omega without approval. Instead, he nodded his head, never breaking their eye contact as he greeted him. “Omega.”
Eijiro expected the silence to reign a bit longer, but the beautiful omega seemed to be in a chatty mood. “How long have you been there?” he asked.
“I arrived when you did,” he responded easily.
“Did you come to bathe?”
“No.”
“Did you come to capture me?”
“No.”
The omega made a noise at that before disappearing below the surface once again. He was a curious thing. He and his alpha were in agreement. He was interesting. Humorous. Worth pursuing. Eijiro had never been interested in looking for a mate before. He was far too busy, and his life was far too dangerous. He never wanted to bring an innocent into that…until now. There was something about this omega that called to him. He didn’t know how, but he could feel, deep within him, that he was strong. That he would be able to not only withstand, but thrive in the life that Eijiro lived.
The omega resurfaced once again; this time far closer to Eijiro than he had been. Close enough that the alpha could count the freckles dotting full cheeks. He truly was beautiful. He placed his arms crossed on the bank of the stream and laid his head on them, looking at Eijiro with an unreadable expression. In that instant, he decided that it would be best to listen to his alpha, if even just a little bit.
Usually Eijiro blocked him out, needing to be more logical than that animalistic roaring in his chest allowed. But right now? He needed to trust that instinct. This was important, he could tell, and it ran deeper than logic would traverse. So, slowly, he made his way over to the bank, never breaking eye contact. He left his palms facing out, posture relaxed. Once he reached where the omega was perched, he sat, crossing his legs, and placing his hands, palms still out, on top of his knees. His alpha told him that this would make him less of a threat. Eijiro thought that was a little silly, since he was always a threat, but he hoped it would make the omega happy all the same.
“Are you strong?” the omega asked him once he had settled. It wasn’t the question he’d been expecting. He knew most omegas wanted a strong mate, but that was pretty forward. Still, he figured it was best to answer truthfully, so he nodded in confirmation.
“How strong?” the omega asked again, this time with a perfectly shaped eyebrow raised. Eijiro never thought he would find eyebrows attractive.
“I am strong,” he reiterated. That didn’t seem to completely satisfy the omega, however. Full cheeks became fuller, and a plush lip jutted out as he pouted at Eijiro’s answer. He didn’t like that, so he kept talking, asking a question of his own. “Why do you want to know how strong I am?”
The omega pouted for a moment more, scrutinizing Eijiro with sharp, deep eyes that nearly pulled him back into the dazed state he’d been in before. It wasn’t until the omega spoke again that he was shaken out of it. “I am running from someone,” he said. “Someone powerful. I don’t want them to find me at all, but if they do I want to be able to fight them off.”
Well, that explained a little bit at least. He can imagine that an omega as beautiful as this one might have many a powerful alpha chasing after him. Fortunately, Blood Riot was stronger than them all. He let the omega know as much.
“Blood Riot?” he asked, the curious look returning to his face. “My mother used to tell me stories about you. She said you were very fearsome. That you killed people because you liked the taste of blood in your mouth when it splattered all over you.”
Eijiro couldn’t help it, he let out a barking laugh at that. He knew that the stories about him were melodramatic, but he didn’t know they had painted him so evilly. Once he calmed himself down and wiped tears from his eyes, he clarified. “I don’t particularly like the taste of blood, I’m afraid. It’s a bit too metallic for my liking. Though, I do like to think that I am fearsome when the need arises.”
He began to pick at the blades of lush grass surrounding them. “I have quite the reputation, I am told. Some of it is true. Some of it has been…dramatized.”
“I heard you’ve killed thousands of men and that you’ve never lost a battle,” the omega said as he propped himself up onto his elbows.
“Hmm,” he thought aloud. “I don’t know how many men I’ve killed. It could be in the thousands. I have fought many battles, and I haven’t lost one yet. Truthfully though, that is mostly because I have very good men behind me. I am impressive on my own, but they make me the best.”
“Could you beat King Hisashi?”
The omega never ceased to surprise him. He expected him to be running from some village alpha, maybe a rich merchant type. He had never anticipated he would be running from the corrupt King he was currently trying to usurp.
“Is that who you are running from?”
The omega shrugged a little, muttering to himself too softly for Eijiro to understand. It was relaxing, and the alpha felt comfortable in his presence. He leaned back on his elbows, continuing to watch him over his shoulder.
“Who are you, Omega?”
Green eyes cut his way. They were harsher than they’d been their entire time in the clearing, but Eijiro did not waiver. He had an idea, but he wanted confirmation. A beautiful, rare male omega, freckled cheeks, and green eyes, running from Hisashi…
“I am Prince Izuku Midoriya.” Eijiro smirked. The confirmation was all he needed.

Izuku took in Blood Riot’s castle in awe. He had thought his parents to be wealthy. For all he knew, they were the wealthiest Kingdom in the world. But, as he absorbed the sheer grandeur of the place the alpha called home, he realized that his parents had lied to him about far more than his purpose in life.
He was grateful, really. He wasn’t sure how he found the clearing, or why the very person he needed most arrived the very moment he did, but Izuku thought it best to not question it. There was something about Blood Riot…he drew him in. Since they met, there was not a moment Izuku was not shadowing the alpha. He smelled so good too. It took all of two seconds of them sitting next to each other on the river for that scent to be burned into Izuku’s mind. Sandalwood and sage, he smelled like a comfort he’d never known, but that Izuku felt like he had always been chasing after.
It was a strange feeling, getting attached so quickly. At first, he worried it was because he had been so sheltered. This was the first person he’d known that wasn’t paid to treat him kindly. He worried that he was trusting him too quickly, that taking him at his word and disregarding all the stories about him was a mistake that would end badly for him. But…his omega agreed with him. The second they locked eyes the primal beast was chanting Mate. Mate. Mate. so loudly that Izuku was sure the alpha himself would hear. That had never happened before. It surely didn’t happen with the man from the throne room.
And he was so easy to be around. It was like…when Izuku was around Blood Riot, all of his worries, fears, confusions, simply faded away into nothingness. As long as he smelled sage and had a glimpse of long dark hair and red eyes, he felt assured and secure. He knew, deep in his bones, that nothing could happen to him, so long as he stayed by the alpha’s side. And, sure, maybe it wasn’t wise to blindly trust his omegan instinct, but it hadn’t failed him so far.
Besides, the alpha was everything a good alpha should be. He shielded Izuku. He kept a hand on him at all times as he introduced him to his men and his staff. He growled protectively when anyone got too close. He spoke with authority and commanded attention from everyone, but when he turned to Izuku his voice was softer, and his touch was gentle. He asked but did not demand. And he was so gods damn handsome.
So, when the alpha told him that it would be safest to sleep in the same room, he didn’t object. And when he tried to sleep on the chaise lounge in the corner, Izuku gently grabbed his hand and pulled him to the bed. It was the most restful sleep he’d ever had, with a warmth at his back and sage cocooning him in a blanket of safety.
Then he woke up.
Burning. That was all he could feel. He was so hot. He’d never been so hot before in all his life. He started clawing at the sleep clothes he was wearing until they were shredded, but that did nothing to cool the fire under his skin. He was breathing harder than he had been when he was running through the forest. He couldn’t think. He couldn’t see straight. He didn’t know what was wrong with him as the burning got ever hotter.
He didn’t hear the alpha until Blood Riot had shoved Izuku’s nose into his scent gland. Relief was instantaneous. Izuku latched onto his neck like it was the only thing keeping him alive—actually, at this point, he was sure that was exactly the case. He refused to remove himself, face buried so that his entire world was sage and sandalwood. It was earthy and grounding. It was enough that eventually he could hear the alpha speaking to him in a low growl.
“Omega…Izuku…heat…”
He only caught a few of the words, but it was enough for him to muddle through what was happening. Izuku was having his first heat while in bed with the alpha of his dreams. His mother had always told him that male omegas didn’t have heats. That they didn’t need them because they were always more fertile than their female counterparts. He’d never expected this. He didn’t know what to do. He didn’t know what he was supposed to do. All he knew was he needed help. He needed…
“Alpha. Need you. Please.”
Izuku was not used to begging, but his omega was screaming within him. He needed an alpha. He needed this alpha. He was losing his coherency fast and he needed help.
“Izuku, I can’t. You don’t want this. You aren’t thinking straight.”
Well, that simply wouldn’t do. Izuku knew the alpha was lying. He could. And he wanted to. He could feel that clear as day against his thigh. His mother had taught him about his duties once he was married. He knew what an aroused alpha was supposed to look like. To smell like. Blood Riot was it.
So, once again, Izuku decided to follow his instinct and take matters into his own hands. He nuzzled into Blood Riot’s scent gland once again, taking a deep inhale before fanning his breath over the sensitive spot. Feeling the alpha shudder beneath him, he placed a little lick to the source of his addiction then paused. The world stood still as the air in the room balanced precariously at the edge of the knife that was Izuku’s pending decision. Then, in a flash, he bit down.
His body flooded with feelings so intense he saw stars. Izuku felt passion flood through his veins as stars danced in his sight. Then, he was blinded by white hot extasy as his own gland was marked.
From that moment, there was no holding back. The two were one, and they were desperate.
***
Waking up to a comforting warmth and a pleasant soreness had Izuku in a haze he never wanted to leave. In any other circumstance, he may have had the presence of mind to be embarrassed by his actions the previous day. He might have even felt bad about keeping a very busy King holed up in his bedroom for nearly 48 hours. But not now. Not when he could feel his mate’s contentedness thrumming through their bond. Not when he could feel how smug the alpha was as he pretended to not be ogling Izuku’s behind as he stretched out his tense back.
It was invigorating, feeling the presence of his alpha in the very fiber of his being. Izuku doesn’t think he’s ever been happier. For the first time in his life, he had made a decision, completely for himself; and with every passing moment, he was sure it had been the right one. No matter what, he knew that he would always have his alpha. He would always have Eijiro.
The sex was breathtaking to be sure, but Izuku treasured those moments in between, where they had been able to communicate without ever saying a word. They had learned each other inside and out. There were no secrets between the two. No one had ever been as honest with the Omegan Prince as his new mate had been, and he is sure no one ever will be again. In return, he’d laid himself bare; an open book presented for his leisurely perusal.
And gods, had Eijiro perused.
Izuku flopped back down, intent on actually leaving the bedroom and positive he would not if he continued along that line of thought. Eijiro chucked at him, feeling his determination in fighting off his baser instincts through the bond. A large hand carded through tangled curls ever so gently.
“You are quite determined to leave the comfort of my embrace today, little mate.”
If Izuku didn’t know any better, he would say the alpha was pouting. “You have duties you know. You cannot abandon your people to laze about in bed with me all day.”
“Hmm,” Eijiro mused, pulling Izuku back into his arms and burying his nose in the marked gland on his neck. “Are you sure? Because I think being the King means I can do whatever I please.” He emphasized his statement with a little nip to Izuku’s neck that had the omega giggling and swatting at him playfully. They were enjoying themselves until a large and loud commotion outside their chambers burst the little bubble they had encased themselves in.
“I know you’re in there, Blood Riot! What have you done to my son you vile bastard?”
Izuku shot up at the sound of his father’s voice. He immediately started shivering. They had found him. He had just discovered true happiness and they had found him. They were going to drag him back to that disgusting alpha and marry him off against his will to line their own pockets and there was nothing—
A firm hand grasping his chin pulled Izuku out of his spiral. Once again, emerald met ruby and all the fear he had held previously melted away, as if he was once again bathing in the cool water of the miracle oasis that had brought him his love. After he was certain his mate had calmed, Kirishima placed a chaste kiss to his forehead before comforting him. “Don’t worry, Izuku. You are mine, and you are safe. No one will change that. I will handle this.”
Once he got a nod of affirmation from the sufficiently placated omega, Eijiro rose from the bed, slipping on a lose pair of breeches but leaving his muscled and sufficiently scared chest on display—partially because he couldn’t be bothered to find a new shirt, but mostly because he knew he looked more intimidating with proof of his strength on display. Then, he forcefully swung open the door, using his large body to block any outsiders from viewing his mate.
Crossing his arms and leaning against the doorframe with a scarred eyebrow raised, he took in the scene before him. King Hisashi and Queen Inko Midoriya stood in the hall. Hisashi was attempting to barrel through his guards, while Inko had tears streaking down her face as she appeared to be begging on her knees for his guards to let the foreign rulers through. Behind them stood an alpha from a rather insignificant and washed-up family of mediocre businessmen that had a habit of sinking ships and absconding with prepayment.
“You know,” he began. “Normally, guests wait to be received in the foyer, not in the hall outside of my den.”
Everyone paused to stare at him for a moment before the blissful peace born of shock was broken once again by Hisashi causing a ruckus. He pointed an ornately decorated finger at Eijiro accusingly. “You! You evil alpha! Give me back my son! You cannot steal a prince from his home and expect to not face consequences!”
His pathetic Queen backed up her husband, though her pleads were a bit more polite. “Please! Please give us our son back. We’ll do anything to have him returned to us.”
Kirishima pretended to ponder for a moment before shrugging his shoulders. “I apologize. I don’t know how I can return your son to you when I did not take him. Though, I do wish you luck in your endeavors.” His grin was smug, especially when Hasashi attempted to jump at him once again. It didn’t matter how many weak and pathetic attempts he made; his men would never let him through.
“IZUKU!” the queen screeched. It grated against Eijiro’s ears. How his poor omega had lived with such dramatics for so long, he will never understand. He sighed as her cries became more hysterical and Hisashi’s fighting became sloppier.
“Listen,” he began in his most patronizing voice. “I’ve recently been mated, and I was hoping to enjoy it for a while longer. Can this wait?”
It was then that everyone seemed to notice the fresh wound that decorated his neck. His men began grinning and Eijiro was sure he would be hearing their congratulations for a long while. The newcomers, however, did not seem too pleased. The Queen’s tears, miraculously, seemed to dry as she stared at Eijiro wide eyed. The King’s face turned white as the sheets Eijiro had been ravishing his son on hours before as he dropped to his knees as well.
“No…” Hisashi whispered out, a look of horror on his face. It only increased as his love decided to be the devious little minx that Eijiro was quickly discovering him to be. He felt a delicate hand traveling up his shoulder blade to rest the scent gland on his love’s wrist next to his mating mark. Izuku pressed his body against Eijiro, peeking out from behind his mate at his parents and the alpha they tried to barter him off to, as he tilted his head just the same way that he had when they met in the clearing.
“Alpha, can you come back to bed now? I was getting lonely.” Eijiro had to fight his chuckle at the smugness he felt thrumming through their bond. After realizing all the lies he had been told and how he had been severely mistreated his entire life by the couple kneeling before them, it would seem his mate was feeling a little petty. Especially when carrying the knowledge that his alpha was strong enough to prevent any negative consequences his parents might have tried to exact against him before they had mated.
Before Eijiro could respond, however, the Queen was yelling once again in that gods awful, shrill voice. “Izuku! You get away from that alpha this instant! You are endangering your people, Izuku. You are supposed to marry this kind alpha to keep the Kingdom safe, just like I taught you, remember? Remember?”
She sounded desperate, and if she wasn’t actively attempting to gaslight and control his mate, he might have felt bad for her. Fortunately, Izuku humored him once again by responding. “Don’t worry mother,” he consoled, with a predatory smile on his face. “Blood Riot will protect my people from money-hungry despots who drain the Kingdom’s treasury and resources to adorn themselves with finery they cannot afford. Isn’t that right alpha?”
As Izuku grinned up at him, Eijiro couldn’t help but to promise himself that he would ravish the omega immediately at the conclusion of this entire ridiculous ordeal. He couldn’t help but to grin back as he played along. “Why yes, Queen Izuku, that is quite true. I am rather good at dethroning greedy tyrants, aren’t I?” His men, always quick, caught on to his love’s game as well and agreed with Eijiro on que. He would reward them for that later.
“Actually, now that I think about it,” he said as he placed an arm around Izuku, pulling him even closer to enjoy the warmth of their proximity. “Isn’t it illegal to sell one’s child off in order to pad one’s own pockets in the Crimson Kingdom?” Again, his men voiced their assent, confirming what Eijiro already knew to be true.
It was at this that Hisashi’s previously pale face became red in rage as he spluttered out pathetic protests. “What do the rules of the Crimson Kingdom matter? We rule our own Kingdom, and it is perfectly legal in Musutafu!”
It was clear the man was grasping at straws and seeing him flounder brought Eijiro much joy. He loved toying with his prey, especially when they deserved it. “Hm. That may be true. But Musutafu seems to be missing it’s King and Queen, does it not? I believe they have been captured by a hostile foreign nation.” Cuffs clinked on both their hands as he finished his sentence, taking them by surprise. They were so focused on Eijiro that they did not see his men sneaking towards them from behind.
“Izuku, if the King and Queen are deposed, who rules over Musutafu?”
“I believe that would be me, Blood Riot.”
Eijiro grinned as he saw the realization dawning on Hisashi’s face. “And you are mated to me, are you not?”
“I am, alpha.”
“So, what would that make Musutafu?”
“Why, I believe it would be the newest addition to the Crimson Kingdom.”
He tsked as his guards forced the two former rulers to their feet. “Unfortunate for you I suppose. But don’t fret. I’m sure you’ll find our dungeons to be comparable to the prisons you had in your own kingdom. I have full faith you’ll adjust quickly enough.”
The two tried to fight their way out of the iron grasps of their captors as they were led away to their new home. As they struggled, Izuku waved. “Don’t worry! I’ll make sure to take good care of the people. I’m sure once I sell everything off, they will be able to recoup all their losses from the decreased money circulation you caused.”
Funnily enough, that caused the loudest wail yet from them both.
Once a guard had led the bored, stinky alpha out of the building, advising him strongly to never show his face in the Kingdom again, Eijiro quickly scooped his omega up to show him how very much he appreciated his little display.
They had the rest of their lives, after all.
