Today is the first day of summer, and thirteen girls are planning their upcoming summer vacation:
« I think I found something,» said haseul,
« You did?! Show me show me » responded an excited choi yerim who was sitting next to the older girl and self-proclaimed leader of the friend group,
« Here look I think I found the perfect house,» said haseul turning the computer to show the girls the house that she found,
On the computer’s screen was a house that had 6 rooms, enough for the Thirteen girls as finding a house that had thirteen rooms is pretty much impossible,
« Oh it looks amazing unnie, it even has a pool ! » jinsol said as she already envisions herself swimming in it, her fish instincts coming back to her
Since the house « only » had six rooms they had to divide themselves into groups of two and one of three, the following groups were made:
Kahei + Haseul
Hyunjin + Heejin
Yeojin + Yerim + Jinsol
Jiwoo + Sooyoung
Hyeju + Chaewon
And finally Jungeun + Y/N
When haseul announced the room arrangements, a certain pink-haired girl’s face started to heat up as she was paired with her dear friend who she happens to have feelings for. Indeed, since they met in high school, jungeun has had feelings for her friend ever since their teacher had assigned them together for a project. Since then, every time she and y/n hung out, her heartbeat grew quicker and quicker.
But what she didn’t know is that the h/c girl also had certain feelings for her, y/n couldn’t bring herself to stop her heart from racing when she heard that she and jungeun were assigned to do a project together as she has always been admiring the pink haired girl’s beauty (who was blonde back then), since then she also keeps falling harder and harder in love with her friend. None of the two apparently noticed one’s feelings for the other as they are the most oblivious individuals on this planet, but also unknowingly to them, their not so little friend group noticed their little « love affair » and the mission of « making y/nlip happen » became their goal for this trip. Their strategy did indeed begin by pairing them together in a room that of course was the only one with only one bed (hyunjin said it wouldn’t be fun otherwise).
The second part of the strategy was making them be inside the same van for the drive to the house who was in the countryside of Busan in the southern part of Korea which from Seoul was a pretty long trip. The girls were divided into two groups, named by yeojin, van moon and van sun. The group who was assigned the sun van were haseul,kahei,jiwoo,sooyoung, and the two jin’s ,heejin and hyunjin, and obviously haseul would be driving the bus with her girlfriend kahei as her copilot in the front of the van. The moon van group is composed of jungeun, y/n, yerim, yeojin, jinsol, hyeju and finally chaewon (what a chaotic van), jungeun is the one driving as she is the second oldest girl In the van (nobody trusted jinsoul enough to drive lol) with y/n as her copilot which might have been done on purpose by the girls.
So as the next day came, they all hit the road towards their destination. During the trip, the moon van was indeed very chaotic, as hyeju and chaewon kept bickering over some games they were playing, yerim and yeojin laughed together all along the trip and jinsol well was being herself. Jungeun could only count on her dear y/n’s support as she tried to make jungeun trip more enjoyable as they talked all throughout the trip. When the night came, the van was finally silent as the previously loud girls were now silent and sleeping, the only sounds that could be heard were jungeun and y/n’s voices as they talked through the night since y/n refused to sleep in solidarity for her friend who had to drive all night long.
They talked about everything and anything, ranging from their favorite songs and dramas to memories from high school and silly anecdotes about the other girls, while they were talking, jungeun was fighting the urge to put her hand on y/n’s thigh which was resting comfortably on the car seat, but when she saw the latter’s eyes get all glossy when she talked about their past (she was nostalgic), she couldn’t help but give in to the urge and put her hand on her friend’s thigh and she did not remove it from it all throughout the night.
When the sun finally rose, the two girls didn’t notice that hyeju was up (since she is usually somewhat silent for the loona standard) and that she took a picture of jungeun’s hand on y/n’s thigh and sent it to the group chat made especially for strategies and news about their favorite OTP (named « operation lipy/n »). A few minutes later, the raven-haired girl’s phone blew up with notifications from the group chat (most of them being omg’s from jiwoo) which made jungeun look at her and then noticed that the girl was awake, so she quickly removed her hand from her friend’s thigh.
A few hours later, the girls finally made it to the house, and they took their stuff out of the vans and into the house. Y/n didn’t let jungeun do anything as she was tired from driving all night long, which the latter denied at first but gave in after a bit of negotiation from the h/c girl. When they were finished they all grouped up in the living room as they discussed what they wanted to eat for dinner.
While the girls were talking, jungeun took y/n’s hand and led her to seat next to her,
« I could’ve helped you know, you didn’t have to do that alone » said the pink haired girl
« It’s fine jungeunie don’t worry about it, it’s the least I could do for you, you drove all night »
« But you havent slept either, y/n-ah »
« You know what if you really want to make it up to me, give me cuddles when we watch the movie tonight »
« Deal »
They then stopped talking and y/n went back to her original sitting position next to yerim. The other girls noticed that they had stopped talking and went on to the third step of their plan, which was « make jungeun jealous so that she finally stops being a pussy and confesses to y/n » (hyeju’s idea), so they commissioned yerim as the flirter, and so she started to flirt with y/n throughout the night. It started with simple touches when y/n made her laugh when they were sitting together on the couch. Then it continued during the dinner where the two sat next to each other with jungeun sitting across them. Yerim kept her flirting, even if she was intimidated by jungeun’s death stare across the table while y/n just continued to eat not paying attention to what was going on.
Jungeun was getting more and more annoyed as time went by, so when the dinner ended and that everyone started to get ready to watch the movie, she suddenly grabbed y/n’s hand and led her to their shared bedroom. As soon as the door was closed, jungeun didn’t give y/n any time to ask what was going on as she pushed her down on the bed, climbed on top of her and kissed her passionately pouring all of her unspoken feelings and frustration into kiss.
Y/n could only kiss back dumbfounded and with her heart beating so fast that it feels like it would burst out of her chest.
Jungeun pulled away, coming back to her senses, and slowly got up, feeling second-hand embarrassment from what she had just done when y/n grabbed her hand and pulled her back onto her
« What was that? »
« I-I’m sorry, I don’t know what happened, yerim kept flirting with you and I couldn’t take it anymore, I really really like you y/n, I’m sorry if this makes you uncomfortable but I can’t take it anymore… » jungeun eyes started getting glossy as she imagined every possible bad scenario that could happen next
« It’s fine jungeunie, I wouldn’t have kissed you back if it wasn’t you know » she looked up at jungeun with so much love in her eyes that made the latter’s heart beat even faster than it was beating before, she then took one of jungeun’s hair strands and put it behind her ear
« I really really like you too jungeun, I always have ever since I met you »
« God, you don’t know how happy that makes me y/n » jungeun said as she pulled y/n back for a kiss
« I love you, Kim Jungeun » said a breathless y/n pulling away from the kiss
« I love you too, Y/ln Y/n, I love you very much but I think we have to go back there or they’ll know that something is going on »
« I think they already know but okay » (they indeed already know because as soon as the two left the group, jiwoo and yeojin followed to go eavesdrop)
« Thank god I didn’t wear any lipstick today » said jungeun chuckling
« Don’t forget your debt miss lip » said y/n as they made their way back to the group (who still had not chosen a movie to watch) while holding hands.
