Addison can't barely remember what day it is, she looked at her phone and her eyes widened when she saw what day it is, it's almost her girlfriend's birthday. Three days from now. She suddenly felt so awake. She looked around to see if someone just saw her or what but everyone was busy so she sneaked on the supply room for a while with her notebook and pen.
“I need a plan,” Addison said to herself. Meredith is nowhere to be found, she is so busy too, like all of them, the incoming traumas was a lot, they barely go home, they all crash on the on call rooms.
Addison stood up and opened the door, her eyes widened when Meredith saw her, she smiled and waited until Meredith stopped in front of her.
“Hi,” Meredith softly greeted her, with a sigh.
“Hello stranger, you looked tired,” Addison joked.
“Ha! Your lucky you never looked tired, lucky,” Meredith frowned a bit then chuckles.
Addison smiled and kissed her temple, “You should sleep, on my office,” she said.
Meredith's eyebrow rose up, “Will you join me?” she asked.
Addison shake her head, making Mer's shoulder fell.
“I need to be in the or in less than a minute babe,” she lied, she just need to go somewhere else.
Meredith pout a bit then nod her head. Understanding that they are all busy, Addison wrapped her arms around the blonde's waist, “I will come to my office after, I promise,” She whispered on the blonde, who yawned and nod her head, “Okay...” Meredith answered and pull away.
Left behind standing, Addison just sighed but her eyes never left the blonde who walked like a zombie, “Screw it,” Addison whispered to herself and walk towards the blonde and she suddenly scooped her, Meredith's eyes widened then she wrapped her arms around the redhead and sighed.
Walking to her office, Addison place the blonde on her couch and get a chair and sit beside her. She wants to plan for her lover's birthday but she knew that Meredith will sleep peacefully if she is holding her. Watching Meredith snores, she carefully lay down beside Meredith, the blonde moves on top of her and buried her face on the redhead's neck.
The lovers fell asleep on each other's arms.
“HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEREDITH GREY!!!!” a sudden shouts make the two jolt up.
“That's not Derek,” Izzie said. Cristina rolled her eyes, “Meredith move to a lesbian town,” she said to Izzie. “But she is staying on her home?” George asked. Alex smothered his head, “Not literally,” he said to George, who is still confused.
Izzie was holding a cake with a candle that looked like tequila on it. Meredith yawned and rubbed her eyes, “Ish early,” she said and yawned again.
Addison pull her back into her arms again, “Shleep,” Addison uttered and hugged the blonde. The four just looked at each other and sit on the floor and start eating the cake for Meredith.
