Work Text:

“Basically, that's it?” Kim asks after a while, his hand flying up to wipe away the blood that splattered on his face, an expression of disgust evident when he realized that a few drops also stained his pants.

Great, Porchay liked those pants.

He snorted and without thinking about it and also without much else to do to discount his frustration, he stuck his foot into the fractured knee of the man tied to the floor and listened to his groan of torment with boredom.

“The easy part is over. Now we need to move all of them somewhere else and get the information we need.” Kinn spoke this time, finally snapping out of his dramatic pose in front of the window, sipping his glass of whiskey with all the calmness in the world. He was the only one of the three men in the room who didn't have blood on his body.

“It shouldn't take them an hour to spit it all out.” Vegas was a horrifying sight if Kim was to be honest, it didn't scare him, but it would give anyone else nightmares. He had blood from head to toe and when he smiled, his white teeth were disturbing with the contrast of the vibrant red on his clothes and skin.

Kim lowered his eyes to the four remaining living men in the room and had to agree with his cousin. He felt that they were only not speaking all they knew now because of the gags.

He sighed, no matter how fast they could make this happen, he was already late anyway.

“Damn, I didn't think it would take this long.” He let go, feeling some of his frustration return, running a hand through his hair. “I hope he's not waiting for me." He muttered to himself more than he spoke to his brother or cousin, but the room was small and stuffy, so the other two heard it too.

Kinn and Vega looked at each other, looked at Kim, back at each other, and finally Kim.

“You haven't told him yet that you'll be back soon?” Kinn asked and Kim just shrugged.

“I forgot to tell him I was going to be out all night, I thought we'd be done early.” He was interrupted abruptly by the sound of falling glass and turned, alarmed, toward his older brother who had his glass in pieces on the floor. “Kinn? What's wrong?”

“Oh shit, Cousin, you are so fucked up.” Vegas who spoke up now and Kim arched an eyebrow, confused by everything that was happening around him. Why were his brother and cousin acting so strangely? Had he missed something at the meeting?

“Kim, get your cell phone. Tell him. Tell him now.” He blinked, trying to understand the desperation in his brother's voice. It wasn't as if they were in danger. Or Porchay, because if his boyfriend was in danger half the Thai mafia would be on the move to rescue him.

“I didn't come with my cell phone. I left it in the studio.” Kinn cursed low and looked at him pityingly.

“Damn it, Kim, you shouldn't have done this.”

“Didn't you warn him about these things? Was it your plan to let your brother learn the hard way? Man, even I wouldn't do something like that to Macau.”

“I wasn't planning anything. It's just- Kim is usually smarter than that.”

“You talk as if you don't know that your brother is the most emotionally constipated child ever born.”

Excuse me?” Kim growled, having enough of the two of them talking about him as if he weren't in the room. “What are you two talking about?”

Kinn sighed and Vegas hissed, a glint of humor passing through his eyes as he went to the door of the room and knocked three rhythmic times, the signal for the guards outside to come in and carry the living bodies off the floor.

Kim thought he was being ignored, but it was on the way back that a still smiling Vegas put his arm around his shoulder and laughed before speaking.

“Tell me, Kim, I know you've never dated before, but do you know what a strike means?”

-*-

“Honey…”

“No, no "Honey". Do you know what, Kim? I should present you with a recent invention, you'll love it, it's called a cell phone, it's what people use to contact other people.”

“But-”

“I know you have a cell phone, Kimhan, I'm just wondering how come all of a sudden you've unlearned how to use it. Do you have any idea how worried I was?”

“Chay-”

“You know the funniest part? If I disappear from your sight for thirty minutes, you send an army after me 'just to make sure' , but for some reason, my boyfriend thinks it's only fair to disappear for FIVE HOURS in the middle of the night! Without. Giving. a. news. And Kim I swear to God if you open your mouth to interrupt me again, you will sleep outside the apartment.”

And with these words, the prince of the mafia, the enforcer of the family, the most unpredictable piece on the board, Kimhan Theerapanyakun, shut up and lowered his eyes, not wanting to stress his boyfriend even more.

It was close to four o'clock in the morning when he arrived. He had expected to be there three hours earlier, but after all, didn't all those frightened men find the strength within themselves to resist the Vegas torture for hours?

Kim didn't even know that was possible.

When he got home, making as little noise as possible, he thought his boyfriend had already gone to sleep, but found him standing in the living room, arms crossed and foot tapping the floor. He only had time to think "He's so cute" before he was attacked with the biggest lecture of his life. Attacked with a lecture and a spatula that was in Porchay's hand that was thrown towards Kim who only dodged by pure instinct.

Few people knew this, but Porchay was a lover of sleep. Not without reason, his boyfriend had always been extremely dedicated in everything he did, studies, music, work, his friends and his family, so any free time it was only fair that he take advantage of it to rest.

When he couldn't, Porchay could get a little... cranky.

And apparently he didn't sleep a minute tonight because of, well, because of Kim.

“If you only knew how I was suffering without any news from you, I had to call Porsche! I called my brother in desperation, because I thought, 'I'm sure Kim would never do that to me, he would never leave for so long without telling me, something must have happened.’ ”He bit his lip, knowing that he shouldn't be laughing right now, but it was impossible not to laugh at the way Porchay paced back and forth in the apartment, practically marching while complaining in a higher and higher tone.

He couldn't laugh. He couldn't laugh. No matter how much his boyfriend looked like an angry little kitten, he couldn't laugh.

“But no, you left without telling me and I had to find out from Porsche, who had to call Pete, who called Vegas and Vegas told me where you were. Vegas . And-”

Porchay turned around and Kim held his breath for a moment as his eyes narrowed in his direction. His boyfriend walked slowly from where he was standing to stand closer, an accusatory finger pointed at his face.

“You. Did you just laugh?”

The voice was cold, and Kim felt his spine run cold at the tone of his voice.

“No." He despaired, denying it with his head, but it didn't seem to convince his boyfriend in the slightest.

“Is that it? You think it's funny? You think it's funny that I'm up at four o'clock on a Saturday morning, when I could just as well be sleeping, but no, I'm up here, almost tearing my hair out with worry, and you think it's funny?”

“Angel, of course not, I really regret it, I didn't want to worry you, I forgot my cell phone in the studio and- Ouch ! Chay?” he grunted, trying to dodge the beastly thing his boyfriend placed right between his ribs.

“You forgot your cell phone in the studio?! Kim don't try to be smart with me, you could have borrowed Vegas' or Kinn's cell phone. I just wanted a warning. How would you feel if I disappeared for hours in the middle of the night and came back saying 'Oh, sorry honey, the battery's dead!' ?”

He had to bite his tongue to stop himself from saying that he probably wouldn't be that worried because Kim had a lot more than one or two coastguards looking after his boyfriend, but something in his mind said that wasn't the right answer, so he kept silent and at least had the decency to look guilty.

Finally, fatigue weighed heavily on Chay's body, and he let his shoulders slump and turned toward the bedroom, still muttering something about how insensitive Kim was.

Kim followed his steps, hesitantly, not quite knowing how safe for him it was, technically, that was his home, but he knew very well that all it took was one word from Porchay and Kim would be off to sleep at his brother's house. But when he didn't accompany Chay to the door, the smaller man came and took him by the hand and started dragging him towards the room they shared.

“You're lucky I can't sleep without hugging you.” He smiled fondly at what he heard and felt some of the fear in his heart melt away. His brother and cousin had put so many bad scenarios in his head that when he got home his hands were shaking, but it wasn't as bad as he thought.

Ten minutes later they were curled up in bed, their legs intertwined, and Kim was hugging Porchay's waist. He was almost asleep when he leaned over to place a light kiss on the other's mouth, and even though he was sleepy, Chay managed to slip his hand between their faces to prevent contact.

“No. You're grounded.” And he blacked out. Leaving a suddenly wide-awake Kim to blink and reason on his own for the rest of the dawn.

Was he grounded?

-*-

“Young master.”

“Young master.”

Two guards passed Kim, who growled in response, and then they were running for their lives out of the training area. He took one, two, three deep breaths before continuing.

At one point he had to stop, the punching bag had started to tear at the top and if he continued he would end up falling off the stand. He looked around, but he had chased away all the employees with his bad mood.

“It's been three weeks, hasn't it? Brother, I am sorry to warn you, but blowing up the furniture in our house is not going to help with your blue balls.”

He raised his eyes to the elevator, where Kinn was coming, on his shoulders an extra punching bag like he was guessing. All Kim did was glare at his brother, which was answer enough.

“Why are you here?” he asked finally, as he watched him change punching bags. He saw the moment when his brother's body tensed, then he relaxed again and sighed, staring at him with a very familiar pain in his eyes.

“I forgot to tell Porsche about a meeting.”

This is a fanfic idea that has been in my mind for so long, I'm glad I got it out of my head!

I don't know if it's any good, I don't think so, I wrote it all in one day and barely had time to revise, I hope someone can have some fun with it.

Porchay is the scariest of them all (Kim's words)
