Work Text:
Rubbing your eyes, you try to get rid of the tiredness of staring at a computer screen for most of the afternoon. You had tried to avoid doing all this paperwork by training the new Avengers all morning. Now you were paying the price by staying late and sifting through bright highlighted sentences. Your phone buzzes on your desk and you eye the picture that appears as the dark screen slowly lights up.
A smile spreads across your lips as you see the redhead on the screen. One of her scrunched up faces she always does to make you laugh, shining out for all to see. You could only imagine the trouble you’d be in if she ever saw that on your phone but you were able to keep it a secret for sometime. Or, she let you think you’ve kept it a secret for this long.
Sliding your finger across the screen, you press against the speaker button. Glancing around the room, you double check to make sure no one else is inside the office. It’s been quiet here all day. Some distant voices and excited yells from some children being dragged around downstairs.
“Hey,” you say, leaning back into your chair and taking a sip of your drink.
There’s some grunting and rustling of bags, “Hey, sweetie. How’s it going at paperwork hell?”
You chuckle, scrolling down an unending PDF, “Oh you know, just wondering how long it’s going to take my super cool, secret agent girlfriend to come break me out.”
Nat laughs, the fridge door beeping in the background as you listen to her putting away groceries, “Your super cool, secret agent girlfriend is currently starving waiting for you to pick up dinner.”
Clicking around, you double check that you’ve added all your attachments to the email, “Mhm, and when I get home,” you heard an excited yell from behind you and quickly look back to see if a kid had snuck their way up the stairs, “You’re getting a surprise.”
Nat hums, sending a shiver down your spine as she picks up the phone, “Oh really? And what kind of surprise do you have in mind?”
Her voice is as smooth as silk, teasing you more than you’d ever be able tease her, “Can’t say. There’s a field trip here today. Gremlin’s are probably in the vents.”
“Please. Clint would never let them in there. He sets up fail safes for that. Besides, shouldn’t you be focusing on your work?”
Ensuring the computer logs off completely, in case sticky fingers come and delete all of your work, you roll away from the desk. Snatching up your bag and jacket, you push open the door with your shoulder and stroll towards the stairs.
“Thai or Indian, tonight?”
“Y/N…” Nat says, a soft tone of warning in her voice.
You eye Peter and Kate trying to keep the kids herded as they follow after Steve who is showing them a look into Tony’s lab. Peter webs a kid back towards the group and Kate is trying to help another tie their shoe. Using the distractions, you quickly make an escape to the garage and towards your car.
“I’ll get both if you don’t tell me which one. Don’t tempt me, Nat.”
There’s a laugh on the other side of the phone as you wait for the garage to open up above ground, “Indian. Extra spicy. Garlic naan.”
You make a mental note as you set in the destination, “You’re a masochist. Extra spice?”
“Hurry up, I’m hungry.” she tells you, her voice so light you know she’s grinning to herself.
You listened to her. Getting the food as quickly as you can and getting home even quicker, you’re through the door and flinging your shoes back towards it. Nat already has the tv trays set up and the next James Bond movie on the list ready to go on the tv.
Plopping the food on the trays, you quickly jog into the kitchen and wrap your arms around her waist and swing her around. She tries to escape out of your grasp but her laugh fills the quiet house as you pepper kisses all along her face.
“Oh, I missed, missed, extra missed you today. How was your mission?” you ask as you set her down.
“One second,” Nat’s arms wrap around you, her subtle floral perfume drawing you closer into her. She smells like home as your lips press against hers for the first time in a week. Her sigh as she runs her nails down your back, nearly makes you forget the food in the living room and want to take her right to the bedroom.
“I missed you more,” she says, lips skimming over yours and begging to be kissed.
“I missed you most,” you whisper, feeling her grin press against yours.
Nat pushes you towards the living room, knowing you’ll kiss her until the food gets cold. Sitting down beside each other on the couch, the both of you barely have your eyes on the movie. Nat has it completely memorized and it’s one of her favorites, she won’t object to watching it again.
Besides, the only thing better than Moonraker is just being with you. Listening to you complain about all the menial tasks you have to do to make sure the team can run smoothly on missions. Training could get tedious but if it meant that you and Nat were able to come home safely, it was worth checking every box.
Nat talks through the mission she was on. Groaning at how Sam insisted on bringing Redwing everywhere. The bets she made with Bucky to see if one of them could shoot it out of the air. You listen to her talk, laughing at the antics she got into while trying to break the boredom of being a security detail.
Scooping up some of the food with the naan, you just watch her. Her green eyes sparkling in the dim light that fill you with a warm feeling that explodes through your body. The grin that’s set on your face when her hand rests against your thigh, shaking her head as she tells you about how she’s always picking up after the boys.
You nod as she asks you a quick question, scooping up the rest of your food. It didn’t seem like too much as you balanced it between the fork and naan but as you put it in your mouth, you feel both of your cheeks are bulging out like a chipmunk. You sit there, staring at the television and chewing with a mission. Your mouth is starting to slowly dry as you swallow down the food through multiple attempts. Quietly gasping, now being able to breathe clearly, you grab your water and quickly chug half of it down.
Wiping your face with the napkin, you clear your throat and look towards Nat, realizing she’s stopped talking. She’s just staring at you, her brow cocked as if she didn’t believe how much work you just did to eat.
“You just stuffed all of that in your mouth?”
You nod, glancing down at your plate and wondering if you should have savored it a little more.
“That was like five bites,” Nat chuckles, slowly moving her tray out from her and climbing towards you.
You smile, resting your hands on her butt as she settles into your lap, “Your point?”
She shakes her head and runs her nose along your jaw, “I love you.”
Humming, you pull her closer to you as you roll her hips against you. She hums along with you, arms wrapping around your neck as she sighs against you.
“I’d kiss these lips all day if you’d let me,” you whisper, Nat’s head turning as those lips trail across your face before finally resting on yours.
You would never forget the way her lips felt against yours. Soft and warm and every kiss intoxicates you more and more. You wanted nothing but her whenever she was near and longed to hold her whenever she was away. She took over your world the moment you saw her strut back in from a mission, bruised and battered but looking like a goddess walking amongst mortals.
Her red hair was just long enough to pull back out of her face letting you peer deep into those green eyes. In that moment, you knew that you were totally screwed. She became the only thing you’d ever want in life.
“What’s this?” Nat whispers, her hands running down your body. You hum, resting your head back against the couch as her fingers run along your waistband.
She chuckles, “Someone missed me… and has a little gift for me.”
Your eyes shoot open as you quickly wrap your arms around her waist and twist both of you. She giggles as you rest her back on the couch but her arms wrap around nothing as you quickly stand and readjust your pants.
Nat props herself up on her elbows, her eyebrows clenched as she watches you fidget. You pat your thighs with a sigh, feeling the square in your pocket and look up to that small smirk on Nat’s face.
“What’re you hiding?”
You groan, “Do you know how hard it is to keep things from a spy? And I get caught by being forgetful.”
She nods slowly, “You really did learn nothing from Clint and I, did you?”
Making a face as you clench your jaw, you stick your hand into your pocket. Slowly you spin the box in your pocket.
“We all know there’s only one competent person here,” you smile, “And I desperately need you around.”
Nat’s grin grows, wondering why you’re stroking her ego so much. Slowly, you drop down to your knees in front of the couch and pull your hand out of your pocket. With your free hand, you reach out for her and run your thumb along her knuckles
“I know that you love your aliases. And I’d like to think you love me more than those.”
She gives a small shrug but waits for you to continue. You take in a slow breath and flick open the small box that you took out of your pocket.
“There isn’t anyone I’d rather spend an evening watching forty year old movies with or listen to your gossip.”
Nat shoves against your shoulder, “I do not gossip! It’s all true.”
You grin, tapping her ring finger with your thumb, “I don’t want to do anything in this life alone. And if I could do everything with you by my side, I’d be the luckiest person alive. So, Natalia Alianovna Romanova,” she grimaces at your attempt at a Russian accent, trying to fight against the tears that threaten to spill over her eyes, but you continue, “Nat, will you make me the luckiest person alive and marry me?”
Nat’s fingers grip around yours tightly as she lets out a breathy chuckle, “You really thought you hid this well?”
You groan and rest your forehead on her leg, “I talk in my sleep…”
“You talk in your sleep,” Nat kisses the top of your head, “You practiced this speech a lot,”
Picking up your head, you watch the tears run down her face silently. Her hand rests against your face as she rubs away the frown on your lips.
“Yes, Y/N. I want you and all of your horrible secret keeping. I want all of you, forever.”
There’s a tightness in your throat as your shaking hand slowly slides the ring onto her finger. She glances down at it, a shining ruby surrounded by black obsidian. A perfect subtle ring for her and as you watch her tear filled glance up to you, you know it was the right choice. She was always the right choice.
Her hands run along the nape of your neck, pulling you up to her as your hands rest on either side of her thighs. You grasp tightly against her as your lips find each other. Nat breathes in deeply, the kisses growing deeper with each passing moment. Her ring is cold against your skin, sending shivers along your spine as she moans into your mouth.
You run your hands up the inside of her thighs, feeling her slide down the couch as her legs spread just slightly. Her hips roll softly and you grin against her,
“It looks like someone missed me,”
Her fingers run through your hair, “Don’t use my words against me,”
Your fingers tease at her waistband, pulling at the drawstring as your hands run up along her stomach, “Or what?” You lean down and press your lips against her stomach, “You won’t marry me?”
She sucks in a tight breath as your hands reach her breasts, massaging them beneath her shirt, “I’ll make you wait-” A gasp stops her words as you roll her nipples between your fingers, “‘Til our wedding day.”
You chuckle darkly, nipping your way down her body and pressing your lips against her hip bones, taking extra care against her scar, “You won’t be wearing white either way.”
There’s a sting against your ear as you jerk away from her flick. You grab her waist and yank her towards you, your thigh pressing against her core as she lays out on the couch. She moans, rolling herself against your thigh as you raise her shirt above her head. Nat runs her hands along her breasts as you smash your lips against hers, her tongue massaging against yours as your breaths mesh together.
Your fingers graze down along her body, shuddering against the tickling sensation as you guide her shorts down her legs. She raises her hips up into the air, trying to find something to release the pent up sensation between her legs. You guide your touch just between her thighs, feeling her warmth but resisting just a moment longer. She whines against your decision as you feel the warm blush on your face. The Black Widow was whining from your touch, a vulnerability no one would ever see but you.
“Please,” she whispers against your lips, your forehead resting against hers as you both try to catch your breath,
“Yes?” you kiss against her neck, feeling her rapid pulse against your lips, “Please what?”
She moans as you slip your fingers closer, just gliding across her folds and grinning at how slick they already are, “Let me cum,”
You grin as you tease against her entrance, watching her legs spread more for you. Leaning down, you kiss against her knee softly as you slowly push your fingers against her. She gasps quietly at the stretch, feeling how you thrust into her in such a slow motion. You curl your fingers gently, listening to her moans growing higher.
Your lips slowly find their way up along her thigh and closer to your hand as it starts to thrust faster into her. Her hand grip around your shoulders as she feels your hot breath wash over her core, a shiver running through her body as her thighs clench.
Gently, you press a kiss against her swollen clit and listen to the choked gasp Nat lets free. Those moans spur you on as you press your tongue against her and lick up her folds. Tasting her as your thrusts grow faster and her moans grow louder, you groan against her and listen to her breath catch as she feels the vibrations.
“Oh, please. Please,” Nat breathes out carefully, pressing you flush against her core as she tries to steady her racing heart, “Y/N, oh my god.”
Her hips roll against you, spreading her wetness across your face but you don’t stop your onslaught against her clit. She’s trying to hold on as long as she can but you curl your fingers as you press your tongue against her.
“Fuck!” Nat moans out as her legs wrap around your head and you feel her walls tighten around your fingers. Her legs shiver against the sides of your head as you run your tongue along her folds to guide her through the orgasm.
Her legs slide slowly from your shoulders and you breathe in deeply, catching your breath with a chuckle. Nat sighs, fingers massaging against your head as you kiss against her. Watching her jolt at the touch against her sensitive body, her sighs growing more content as your hands run along her sweat slicked body.
You wipe your face clean as you lean over her, waiting for her green eyes to appear from behind her eyelids. Slowly, they flutter open and you watch her smile on her face as she looks up at you.
“You know,” she breathes out, pulling at your waistband, “I think we should have a weekly honeymoon preview.”
Grinning, you press your lips against hers. Softly and deeply as you feel her fingers pop open your jeans, “Only weekly?”
“Daily?” she suggests, yanking at your shirt, “Hourly?”
“Now that’s more like it. I’d say every minute, but I wouldn’t want to be greedy.”
She hums, watching you slide your shirt off slowly, “Oh no? Don’t want me all to yourself?”
You hover over her, “You. Me. And a cabin in the middle of nowhere.”
“No one to hear your screams,” Nat nods as her fingers run along your collarbone, “When you lose at Monopoly,”
“That’s it!” you shove your head into the crook of her neck and pull her up and off the couch. She giggles loudly as you push off of the couch and put her over your shoulder, “No sleep for you!” Her laugh echoes down the hallway and you know it’ll be a sound you’ll never tire of hearing.
And she will never be a woman you’ll tire of.
