Josie typed aimlessly into her phone, not wanting to seem like some loner loser standing by herself, so she decided to pretend as though she was texting someone. The tactic always worked, especially when she wanted to ignore someone. She waited for her sister to come outside of the store with their icecream, feeling irritated as the time seemed to pass by and Lizzie still hadn't come back out.

She sighed, putting her phone away. Bored already, she looked around, being new to the area, she hardly knew any of the faces she saw. Sorry, quick correction, she didn't know any of the faces she saw.

She scrunches her face up at the sight of a couple vigorously making out near the entrance, also catching the eye of people passing around them, disapproving gazes and shakes of heads from a bunch of them as they pass by.

Josie sighs, just about ready to storm into the icecream shop and yank Lizzie outside so they could leave before something crashes onto her shoulder.

She winces, already preparing to start cursing when a voice beats her to it.

"Watch where the fuck you're walking!" A voice hisses at her.

Josie is stunned, definitely not expecting the harsh tone before she blinks away the shock, straightening her spine to fix the girl in front of her with a glare. She realizes she has to crane her neck a bit down in order to do just that, and nearly scoffs. So much anger filled into such a tiny body, jesus.

"What did you just say to me?" A harsh voice snaps her back to reality, and Josie snaps her mouth shut. I just said that out loud, right.

Bloody idiot.

Despite this, she gives the girl a frown, finally looking at her properly. She looks about Josie's age, long auburn hair that fell past her shoulders. Pity. She's actually pretty. If only she didn't look like she wanted to kill me.

She had pale skin, a bit red in the face now due to the fact that she angrily stomped her feet around like some kid — okay so maybe she didn't stomp her feet around but this crazy girl just yelled at me!

But what made Josie stop for a second were the girl's eyes. Bright blue eyes that looked like they held the entire ocean in them. Josie could honestly stare into them for a long time. If only those very eyes weren't glaring at her at the moment.

Josie crossed her arms, frowning a bit as she looked into her blue eyes, ignoring the fuzzy feeling in her stomach as she spoke. "You should watch where you're walking, since you bumped into me." She pointed out, frowning disapprovingly.

The short girl's eyes narrow down at her, red is what Josie's going to call her because the girl looks nothing short of a fuming red bull at this moment, and her hair colour wasn't exactly helping her out either, just bringing the red tone of her face out even more, she looks just about ready to blow up.

"You fucking—"

"HOPE."

Their glaring contest is cut short when a body comes running up to them, tugging at Red—now known as 'Hope's' arm.

She stumbles back, still glaring at Josie before she switches her glare to the boy. "What." She snaps, pulling her arm back from him.

A quite short —not as short as the little witch— brown skinned teen boy that looked about Josie's age as well stands at their sides, brown eyes friendly although a bit panicked as he gives Josie a small tight lipped smile.

"Hope cmon.." He pleads as he turns to her.

Little red chick just glares at him and he winces, turning around instead to give Josie an apologetic glance. "Sorry about her. We'll get going now." He said, and Josie almost smiled at him, until she heard the short witch scoff.

"Don't apologise to her! She should apologise to me for assaulting my shoulder—"

"You crashed onto me first you—"

Her blue eyes snapped back up to give Josie a glare so fierce Josie almost backed down. This girl is goddamn scary what the hell.

Josie stared right back at her, she felt a bit uneasy because of the girl's scary glaring, but she managed to hold her ground.

"Let's just go your aunts are waiting." The boy tugs at the girl's arm again and the girl finally obliges, giving Josie one last death glare before she yanked her arm back again from the boy and stormed off.

"Sorry about her again." The boy gives Josie a weak smile, and Josie sighs, giving him a small smile, though she thinks it looked more like a grimace if anything. He nods at her once before turning around to run after Hope.

Releasing a small breath of air, Josie shakes her head, almost laughing at the fact that she nearly just got into a fight. She still felt immensely irritated though.

Let's hope I never see that girl again.

"Okay so the annoying fuck didn't have any raspberry flavours left, so I got myself cookies and cream instead. You can work with regular ol' vanilla right." Lizzie's voice suddenly appears, appearing next to Josie as she holds out a cone of icecream for her to take.

She takes one look at Josie and Josie nearly groans, already knowing what her twin was going to ask.

"What the hell happened? Why do you look like I broke your ugly little ukelele."

"It's not ugly!" Josie snapped.

Lizzie just fixed her with a look and Josie sighed, rolling her eyes.

It's a stupid twin telepathic kind of thing. Where they instantly know whether or not something is going on with the other.

"Some short girl bumped into me just a few minutes ago and had the audacity to start yelling at me to watch where I was walking. Like? It wasn't even my fault!" Josie was aware that her voice was beginning to raise a slight bit, so she pinched the bridge of her nose to calm down.

That girl had no right. Blaming me.. I hate stuff like that. The audacity to blame me for something that was obviously her fault!

"Did you kick her in the cooch?"

Lizzie's voice interrupted her grumbling thoughts, and she shook her head.

"But you should've!"

Josie just gave her sister a weak smile, before taking the ice cream cone from Lizzie's left hand, following her sister out of the mall as Lizzie continued to rant about the various of violent things she would've done to this Hope person.

___

"Mom. Don't start crying again I swear you and dad will literally be like, 20 minutes away." Josie grinned as their mother, Caroline, smothered Lizzie with kisses on her head, tears threatening to fall from her eyes as they stood outside their new school. You would think they were about to leave the country with the way their mother was acting right now.

Caroline's blonde locks were slightly disheveled, and her blue eyes glistened with tears as Lizzie continued to groan in protest, the older woman hugging her tightly.

A boarding school, to be specific, by the way. One of the best in the area. So. This should be fun.

"I just.. you girls are growing up way too fast." Caroline said wetly, turning to pull Josie into a hug.

After smothering Josie with kisses just as she did with Lizzie, they finally pulled apart and she glanced at their father.

Stefan stepped in also to pull her into a hug, and then tugged Lizzie in so it could be a group hug.

"You girls try not to get into too much trouble okay. Your mom's gonna have a heart attack right now as it is and if we get a call that you burned the school down by accident she's probably going to go into cardiac arrest." He joked.

Josie just laughed. "Don't worry dad, we'll call if anything happens."

Their bags and everything had already been transferred into their new room, and Josie couldn't help the butterflies she felt in her stomach when she glanced up at the school. Moving to a new place always made her feel nervous.

"We'll get going now. Remember to call us, okay? We'll stop by sometime, just to say hi, and we'll see you two during the holiday breaks." Stefan said, and Josie nodded.

Lizzie spoke. "Can I have some money?"

Caroline and Stefan frowned at her. "We already gave you two enough money, that you will manage properly."   He said this sternly, mainly directed to Lizzie.

"Just a little bit more, I uh. Have to go shopping later for books!" Lizzie said, smiling at their parents. Josie just smirked, crossing her arms as she watched their interaction.

"We already bought all your books." Their dad deadpanned, giving Lizzie a small amused smile.

Lizzie groaned. "Dad c'mon I just want a little pocket money."

With a small laugh, their dad pulled out his wallet to pull out a couple of hundreds, giving it to Lizzie and then turning to give Josie some as well.

Josie moved back, shaking her head. "Woah dad it's fine. You guys already gave us alot of money—"

"Just take it Jose. You can use it to buy some stuff that you want." Stefan said with a smile.

Smiling, Josie took the stash of cash and placed it into her wallet. They hugged again, and then her parents were off. Caroline looked just about ready to start crying again, so Stefan quickly ushered her into their family car, giving Josie and Lizzie another smile and a quick 'Love you two, and don't forget to call us!' before he drove off.

Now, it was just Josie and Lizzie, standing side by side.

Josie glanced at Lizzie, and gave her a small smile. "Well. Our new home, I guess."

Lizzie shuddered, giving Josie a small huff with a laugh. "I'm never calling a school my home. But yeah I guess."

Josie finally took her time taking in the school exterior, taking note of the nice designs and structures. She wasn't an expert by any means on buildings, but this school definitely looked nice, and big.

She looked down at the paper for the school in her hand, the big 'MKS' logo shining at the top.

The Mikaelson Academy Boarding School
Founded by Klaus Mikaelson

The Academy strives to raise the best students, and only the best. Founded by Klaus Mikaelson and currently funded by the Mikaelson Family, the school is considered one of the best schools in the state. Education at it's highest level, and students accomodations are well tethered to.

Josie stopped reading at that, already having read the paper about a dozen times on their way here. All she knows is that the school is good.

She tugged at the hem of her shirt, looking down to give her outfit a quick onceover. She decided to wear a cute skirt that was just slightly above her knees, and a nice yellow top that she usually wore, accompanied by a blue bow tie. She gripped the straps of her bag, and then Lizzie gave her a small nudge.

"Ready?"

She nodded her head, and Lizzie linked their arms together before they began walking towards the school.

They've already come to the school last Saturday with their parents, meeting the headmaster so that they could talk about them attending the school and everything.

He showed them where their room would be, Lizzie and Josie being roommates which was honestly a relief, before giving them a short tour of the school. He mentioned that they'll assign two students to give them a tour  when they had arrived, so they should expect them.

Entering through the doors, she took note of the cleanliness of.. well, everything. She appreciated it of course, being sort of a clean freak herself.

There weren't any lockers or anything of the sort of course, she guesses because of their rooms. What's the use of a locker when everything can be put into their rooms anyway.

Instead it looked more like a..well. Very Big mansion? There was a huge staircase in front of her, two stairs running up forming a circle when it completes to the top and a big chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

"Ah! Josette and Elizabeth."

A deep voice suddenly spoke, breaking Josie from her little observing session.

Lizzie smiled. "Mr.Mikaelson."

Klaus Mikaelson stood in front of them, wearing an attire similar to the one they last saw him in. Some faded jeans and a plain black shirt, a necklace hanging from around his neck to complete the outfit. Very casual.

His piercing blue eyes stared at them as he gave them a small smile, almost as if he was amused and could sense their nervousness.

"Welcome to Mikaelson Academy. You two don't have to worry about classes yet, you can start tomorrow." He said in his very heavy British accent.

Josie nodded, and he looked back, pointing at a door.

"That's the school reception, you can find your schedule in there. Julie will give them to you." He explained.

Josie was a bit intimidated by him to be honest, so she said nothing, only kept nodding her head to show him she was listening.

"Well I must get going now. But have a great stay." He gave the both of them a nod of his head, and then sauntered off.

Lizzie then spoke, sighing dreamily as he walked out of their sight. "He's so hot."

Josie grimaced and made a face at her. "Yeah. Also like, 60 years old or something."

Lizzie scoffed. "Please. He's most probably in his mid thirties at best."

"Still gross Lizzie."

Lizzie rolled her eyes, and pulled her towards the door that Klaus had pointed out to them.

They walked in, and a brunette elderly looking lady sat behind a desk, typing away in her computer. She glanced up at them and smiled. "Hello. You must be here for your schedules?"

They got their schedules for their classes, having to also put their phones away which admittedly sucked because Josie actually liked her phone time. They could get their phones after the end of all their classes but had to return it each morning, which was cool.

After doing all that they walked down to the girls dormitory, luckily Josie remembered where their room was, because Lizzie had already forgotten.

Room 207

Walking into their new room, Josie immediately walked to the side with the window, plopping down onto the bed.

The room was really nice, and spacious.  They had their own bathroom too.
They had just moved in obviously, so their suitcases and stuff were still on the floor. Josie was already thinking of how she would decorate her side of the room when a pillow suddenly smacked her in the face.

"Ow!" She grabbed the pillow, looking up to glare at Lizzie.

Lizzie just smirked.

"What'd you do that for."

Lizzie rolled her eyes playfully. "Those student guides will be here soon. So get your ass up."

Josie groaned. "How do you know they'll be here? Maybe they'll show up later on in the afternoon."

She got up then, to move to the study table situated near her bed, and sat down to pull out some books to place on it.

"What are you doing?"

Josie rolled her eyes, she can never get some peace and quiet. "Unpacking. Which you should start doing too."

Lizzie didn't look like she wanted to do that, and it showed when she groaned, flopping down onto her bed.

"I'm bored already. Why'd they have to take our phones."

She said that somewhat weirdly, and Josie looked at her. Lizzie seemed to be holding back a smile, and Josie sighed heavily.

"What did you do."

Lizzie just laughed, jumping up as she held up both their phones. "I didn't give our phones, duh! That old lady at the reception didn't even look to see what I put into that huge box of phones. I put in some broken old phones that I got back from home." She said excitedly.

Josie just stared at her. "I'm not even surprised you'd do that." She sighed.

Lizzie laughed. "Bitch shush."

Their conversation got cut short when a knock was suddenly heard, and Lizzie looked at Josie. "Maybe that's the student guide. Let's go."

Josie sighed, standing up to walk over and open the door to greet the students.

She wasn't expecting to see that boy from the mall however, he too seemed surprised to see her, however he still managed to smile. "Oh. Hi! I didn't think I'll see you again." He said cheerfully, smiling.

Josie just looked at him, smiling a bit before moving aside to let Lizzie walk out.

Lizzie gave the boy a small glance, and then looked at Josie. "You know eachother?"

Josie just shrugged. "He was at the mall that day, you know, when I told you about that annoying short chick."

As if the gods heard her, a small cough could be heard from behind her and she turned around, feeling her eyes widen. The short witch was here? In this school? What kind of nightmare was this?

Hope glared at her, and Josie suddenly felt awkward. "Uh."

"Anyway! I'm Mg. That's Hope. We'll be your student guides today." The boy, Mg, suddenly spoke hurriedly, and Josie turned her attention back to him, relieved to not be looking at Hope who couldn't stop glaring at her.

"I'm supposed to be giving Elizabeth the tour?" Mg said, and Lizzie raised her hand. "That's me. Though just call me Lizzie."

He nodded, and then walked over to where Hope stood.

Josie watched as he whispered something to her, and watched as Hope glared at him, grumbling something. Josie thought she heard the word 'bitch' being mumbled, but chose to keep her mouth shut. She did promise her dad that she wouldn't get into any trouble. Even if she did want to throw this girl into a trashcan.

"Hope here will be showing you around. Josette, right."

Josie nodded. "Josie, call me Josie."

He clapped his hands, and smiled. "Cool! Okay, well, lets meet back here when we're done."

He gestured for Lizzie to follow him, though she didn't move. Josie watched her give Hope a small glare, and then she quickly turned to Josie. "Is this that bitch you told me about." She whispered.

Josie knew that Lizzie would most likely chew Hope out if she said yes, but she also didn't want to lie. "I'll tell you later. Just go." She said instead, pushing Lizzie a bit for her to start walking.

Lizzie just narrowed her eyes, and gave Hope one last suspicious stare before walking off with Mg.

Then there were two. Josie shifted around somewhat awkwardly, before looking at Hope, who by the way was still glaring at her.

Josie then sighed, tired already of it. "Listen can you stop that? It wasn't even my bloody fault. You ran into me!" She hissed, feeling angry again

Josie was not a very violent person, but this girl just.. angered her so much

Hope huffed, crossing her arms. "Nobody talks to me that way. So fuck you."

Hope stormed off, and Josie stared after her in shock. What was her deal?

With her teeth clenched, she ran after her and gripped her arm.

Hope swung around, yanking her arm off. "Don't touch me!" She growled, and Josie stepped back, her eyebrows furrowed. Literally what is her problem.

"You're my student guide today." She said, frowning at Hope.

Hope rolled her eyes. "I don't really care."

"I'll tell the headmaster."

At this, Hope just smiled devilishly, and shrugged. "My dad?"

Josie's heart dropped, and she stared at the girl. She was so so confused as to what she had done to make the girl despise her so much. But she's guessing it's a personality thing of hers. Still. She's got no right.

"I didn't even do anything to you." Josie stressed out, this was ridiculous.

Hope just stood there, staring at her uninterestedly and Josie sighed. You know what. Lizzie will just have to show me around. That's fine.

"Fine. Just go." She said, rolling her eyes again at Hope's sarcastic smile.

"Great! I didn't even want to do this stupid job anyway." She grumbled, blue eyes staring into Josie's brown eyes before walking off.

Josie watched her leave, and sighed heavily to herself. First day in the school and she's already got herself a girl that hates her for no valid reason

She decided to go back into her room, and thought she could kill time by unpacking her things, and then possibly taking a little nap before going down for dinner with Lizzie.

She unpacked a few boxes, and made her bed even more comfortable by adding extra blankets that she packed herself, a nice comforter and two extra soft pillows she likes to just keep around on her bed usually.

She thought about Hope, and how unfair the girl was being. Josie didn't know what her deal was. She supposes she did technically make fun of her height that one time at the mall, but the girl was acting as though she pissed in her drink or something!

Mg was nice at least, and he seemed to be friends with Hope. Josie knew she shouldn't judge someone so quickly, but she didn't really like Hope. Point blank period. That girl was infuriating and obviously did not like Josie as well.

Josie was ready to shrug off their first encounter with eachother as the auburn haired girl just having a bad— terrible— day that day. But today.. either Hope is still having a bad day, or she just acts like she constantly has a stick shoved up her ass all the time.

Josie was lying down now on her bed, just staring up at the ceiling, waiting for Lizzie to come back from her tour with her nice student guide. Lucky.

Despite obviously disliking Hope, Josie was going to push that aside. She was always one to give people second chances. She doesn't know Hope yet, so just this once, she's going to try and get to know her. Maybe if they share some classes tomorrow it could help.

She allowed her eyes to slide close, thoughts about befriending Hope slipping away as sleep overtook her senses, dreaming of blue oceans and red boats.
