You oce asked me when I fell in love with you and I replied with the cheesiest line of 'It was love at first sight'. Although it was true, it's not exactly how I fell in love with you.
Back when it was the music festival and I tripped over the keyboard, when you helped me up and stayed as I regained me footing - that was when I first started to like you. The feelings I hd towards you developed further, growing deeper everytime I saw you after that. Watching as you helped Marinette when we went ice skating with Kagami. Watching as you supported your sister on the sidelines as she helped modelled Marinette's designs.
It didn't help as I spent most of my free time with you. The way you tenderly moved my fingers as you helped me learn guitar. The way you butchered the chinese language when you asked me to teach you one afternoon. The way you looked with blue hai dye across your face when touching up the previously faded tips of yor hair. The way you held me when I broke down, telling you I was bisexual. The way you kissed me tenderly when I confessed I liked you, telling me you liked me too. The way you accepted all of me, even when I told you I was Chat Noir.
Falling in love with you however, was a different story. I can tell you the exact moment I thought, 'I love him, he is the man I want to send my life with'.
It was the afternoon I found out my father found out about us. He had called you into his office to talk about 'your intentions towards me'. I waited outside for what felt like an eternity, pacing back and forth, annoying Nathalie who stood guard outside the door. The sounds of raised voices make me st and face the door. Hearing my father shout was normal but hearing your voice raised worried me.
I was not expecting to hear the words that escaped your lips as the door swung open, making Nathalie and myself jump.
"I love him, I love Adrien Agreste. He is the melody that plays on repeat within the depth of my heart." Your eyes on me throughout the speech, love dripping in the form of tears. You caught me as I ran towards you placing a passion filled kiss on your lips, wrapping my arms around your neck, holding you close. As we parted to breath, it was like no one existed, fathers shouts now silent as I looked into your eyes and whispered the three words for the first time.
"I love you," kissing you again as if it was to seal the promise of our love.
