***Hi everyone! I have many stories with Izuku as omega and Bakugo as alpha, so I wanted to change the dynamics around. This will be a dark story, but with a happy ending! Please read the tags and feel free to reach out to me if you have a specific trigger/concern before reading the story. I will let you know if it will be described in detail or lightly mentioned.
***There will be past and present sexual trauma (in light detail) in this story pertaining to the mistreatment of omegas in the world's caste system. Bakugo and Shoto will both be abused and traumatized omegas that Izuku WILL help. I will put as many warnings before each chapter as I can.
***I won't be able to post this fic on FF.net because it would break too many of their rules, so it will only be posted here.
***Please remember as you read, this is a story of mental and physical trouble that will turn out on a happy note, so please don't get discouraged.

A dark story with a happy ending!

Known as the Alpha Slayer, Bakugo is the most feared omega in the land until the Empire defeats his clan and way of life. He is saved by Alpha Izuku, a general in the Empire army, and taken to Izuku's villa. But Bakugo refuses to submit and hates all alphas, including the dynamics and the harsh mistreatment of omegas. Izuku respects all omegas and runs a different household than most alphas and wants Bakugo to join him. But Bakugo has suffered from years of sexual abuse for being an omega and cannot be touched by an alpha without going berserk. Izuku wants to win Bakugo's trust and help to heal the past traumas by showing Bakugo that not all alphas are terrible. Bakugo wants to remain untouched, unmarried, unbonded, and childless.

But when the Emperor wants to make Bakugo his omega, Izuku has to find a way to make Bakugo marry him to keep him safe. They will have to travel back to Izuku's homeland where a new growing threat is making its presence known, and they may or may not have help from the Empire. Not everyone agrees with Alpha Izuku lowering himself to the demands of the Alpha Slayer. With Izuku's help, Bakugo will build an army of omegas. He will help to distinguish the current sexual slavery and abuse of omegas by training them to be strong warriors and to fight back against their oppressors while denying any bonding feelings for Izuku. Izuku and Bakugo will fight side by side and face many challenges and dangers, from the army of Tomura Shigaraki to the kidnapping of their children and far more in between. It will test their partnership and marriage. Can Bakugo ever accept Izuku as his alpha and achieve his goal while trying to keep to his values? Can Bakugo ever allow himself to fully trust an alpha?

Chapter 1: The Lone Wolf

Izuku had never seen anything like it before in all of his battles.

The gruesome sight posed a warning to anyone who came to conquer this land for the Empire. Izuku had heard stories of the brutality but assumed it was just rumor and war stories from battle-hardened soldiers. But now, those stories were true. Even his horse was uneasy, bucking slightly while digging the hooves in the dirt. Scattered along the earth were impaled dead bodies serving as a feast for the carrion crows. Numerous other bodies lay slaughtered beneath the spikes. The drizzling rain did little to wash away the stench of rotting flesh and death. Izuku uses the access green cloth from his headdress to cover his nose and mouth.

"It's the work of those damned tribes," said one of his scouts.

"We need to report this to the Emperor," said the other.

Izuku gets down from his horse, telling his soldiers to stay while he walks a few feet into the carnage. Looking around at the fallen bodies, Izuku could conclude that the Master in charge sent an ill-equipped, ill-trained army of poor people, young and old. These people most likely joined the army in desperation or promise of payment. The thought of such a cruel ploy to trick people into marching to their deaths has his stomach-churning.

"Alpha Midoriya?" The scout called out to him. "Are you alright?"

"Let's head back to the villa," Izuku said. "I have some choice words to say to the Master of this region." He mounts the horse again. "This was a disaster that didn't need to happen. Too many lives were lost."

The War of Lands had entered its tenth year, and regardless of the horrid sight he had just witnessed, it was coming to an end. The Yuuei Empire, with the largest army and wealth, began exploring and conquering other lands. Izuku's kingdom was one of them. Now, he has sworn his loyalty and allegiance to the Empire. But he wishes to be independent once again. He was only a boy when their sultan surrendered. If only the tribes of the woodlands would just surrender, then the war could end.

They stopped at a tavern to rest the horses and have a drink. Izuku's scouts spoke to some other soldiers about what they saw on the battlefield, and the name 'Alpha Slayer' was on the lips of everyone present.

The Alpha Slayer. Izuku knew the name well, for it is that man who will not surrender to the Empire. The Alpha Slayer has gathered the last of the tribes to keep the Empire from expanding into their land, and they're managing it well. Izuku doesn't know the man's name, only his title, and reputation. He is an omega with all the traits, strength, and power of an alpha. He slaughters any alpha that attempts to conquer him, will take up any challenge and is the ONLY omega to ever lead an army. That battlefield is the mark of the Alpha Slayer, brutal and unforgiving.

Then the talk about the Alpha Slayer's battle skills dissipates into the sexual slurs of drunkards. Almost every alpha present was boasting how they would 'deal with' or 'mount' or 'claim' the Alpha Slayer. Someone said he has an omega harem where he acts as the alpha, and a round of 'boos' and 'hisses' accompany it. Finally, Izuku decides that he has had enough vulgar talk and pays for his drink before leaving the tavern. A person cannot beat submission into an already vicious dog; it only makes them more violent. The approach needs to be calm and patient, earning trust before change.

While he disapproved of the Alpha Slayer's brutal methods of war and slaughter, he couldn't dislike the man. How could he dislike someone he doesn't even know? Unlike others in the Empire, Izuku would like to meet the world's first (and so far) only omega leader. He had the greatest respect for omegas and treated his omega servants as if they were the same as beta and alpha servants. He had outlawed the beatings of servants and forced mounting of omegas in his household. When other military officials need to visit, they are always shocked that they and their party cannot partake in his omega servants. And, unlike the others, he only refers to his slaves as 'servants.' He refused to own another life as if they were nothing more than property. So, when lude talks like those in the tavern arise, he quietly excuses himself.

"Alpha Midoriya, should we be on our way?" asked the scout.

"Yes. We'll ask to stay the night at the villa and then head back home tomorrow. I'd rather not travel all night in the rain if we can avoid it."

"What if the region lord doesn't allow us to stay?"

"Oh, he'll disagree with what I have to say, but I'm an alpha general and rank above him, so he has no choice. I don't want to see farmers and children on the battlefield again."

"Chief Bakugo, a message arrow came from you,"

Bakugo was cleaning under his nails with the tip of a dagger, then tossed it behind him to expertly stick in the wall. He takes the arrow and unwraps the message attached. Its contents make him sneer. Their last rally, the Boar Clan, is giving up the fight and joining the Empire. Bakugo crumbles the paper and tosses it into the fire, watching the flames engulf it. Now it is only his clan that is left to defend the territory. He wasn't a fool. The Empire's army outnumbered them as it is, but he wasn't going to give up. These lands belong to his people, and if no alpha chief stands up to defend them, then they are no alpha at all.

"What did it say?"

"Stop all trade with the Boar Clan," Bakugo said. "They've betrayed us and this land!"

"So, we're all alone?"

Bakugo glares at the warrior. "Yes. Do you have a problem with that?"

"Chief…there has been…talk among the clan…."

Bakugo stood up from his chair and walked over to the man who took a step back. "What talk? Talk about surrendering to the enemy?" When the man didn't reply, Bakugo had his answer. "Then you're all cowards! Worthless wastes of space that are breathing my air! We are the Wolf Clan, and the pack always fights together! But if I have to be the lone wolf, then so be it! Get out of my sight!" The man hurried out, and Bakugo swiped his hand across the table, knocking away all its contents. "IDIOTS!" he shouted and slammed his fists on the table.

With the loss of the Boar Clan, he was out of options. The chance of winning another battle with the Empire is near impossible. No. It IS impossible. But he wasn't going to give up. He wouldn't surrender willingly to the Empire; he'll go down fighting first. Even if he willingly surrendered, the Empire bastards would like nothing more than to see him, an omega who acts as an alpha, humiliated and defeated. They would take turns mounting him or marrying him off to some alpha who can claim conquest. Bakugo smirked.

"Let them try! I'll kill them all!"

"Chief Bakugo! There's a rider here from the Empire!" said a warrior from the door.

"I'll greet him in just a few minutes," Bakugo tells him.

Bakugo was curious to know what news this rider brings from the Empire, probably another request to surrender or marry. Well, Bakugo had the best way of scaring off potential alpha suitors. Opening the lid of a clay jar, he dips his fingers in the dark red liquid to paint war lines on his face. Alpha blood. On his neck, he places the string of alpha teeth he had ripped out as battle prizes. He paints black across his eyes and sets the wolf pelt on his head. He leaves his chest bare to show off his muscles and battle scars. Omegas were supposed to always stay covered, but he was no typical omega, and no one would tell him what to do. On his back, he slides the hatchet and club into their harness; no omega should wield a weapon against an alpha. At his waist rests an Empire soldier's short sword and a dagger on the other side. Now he was ready.

When he met the rider, Bakugo smirked at the look of shock and fear on the alpha's face. He was an older alpha with graying hair and a long mustache. The soldiers accompanying him appeared just as frightened. By now, they should be able to smell the alpha blood.

"What do you want, loser?" Bakugo asked the man.

The man sputtered a little, trying to find words. "Y-You will not address me as such, omega!"

"I'll call you whatever the hell I want," he spat on the ground.

"Ugh! Such despicable behavior for an omega, barbarian or not!" Said the man with disgust. "I am Captain-"

"I don't care who you are!" Bakugo shouted. "Are you fucking deaf as well as old? Get on with what you have to say and get off my land!"

The man was so surprised by Bakugo's mannerisms that he forgot to speak for a second time. Then, finally, he found the words.

"The Boar Clan has joined us! You are the last clan of these lands, and it's time that you submit yourselves to the might of the Empire!"

Bakugo threw his head back and laughed. "Submit? We have no plans to submit!"

"Don't be a fool! You'll all be slaughtered!"

"Then we go down fighting!" Bakugo snapped back.

"Listen! The Emperor offers you peace terms! The clans can continue to live here in these lands-"

"Only to have our lands taken away by the building of roads and houses for the Empire!" Bakugo countered. The man kept talking.

"And you, Chief Katsuki Bakugo, will be pardoned for all your slaughtering, so long as you accept the gracious offer to join the Emperor's harem."

Bakugo stared at the man for a moment, then started to laugh. "You can tell the Emperor to bend forward and suck his own cock because I won't be joining any harem!"

"Such vulgar talk!"

"Get the hell off my land! Leave now, or I'll kill you!"

"You'll regret this!" The rider said and rode off with the soldiers.

Bakugo's breaths were coming rapidly as his whole body started to fill with adrenaline and the need to chase them down.

'There will be an attack soon,' Bakugo says to himself while walking through the parting crowds of his clan. 'And I may just be the lone wolf after all.'

~*~

It was inevitable. Dozens of loyal clansmen lay scattered, dead, on the battleground to bleed out into the earth. Those who remained threw down their weapons and surrendered to the Empire.

Only Bakugo remained standing, exhausted, and could barely hold his weapons. He was covered in dirt, mud, sweat, and blood. His throat was rough and dry, his limbs aching, and the soldiers were approaching. Some came at him, but he struck them down. Then, more came, and he fought. He pushed his exhausted, war-ridden body to its limit, taking out several soldiers single-handedly. But they became too many, and soon he was left to struggle to escape. And then, the crude laughter started, and devious, hungry eyes set their sight on his body. He found new strength to fight off the dozens of hands tearing at his battered clothing. He bit and kicked like a wild animal trying to break free of a snare. They were going to force mount him, but he would sooner bite his tongue and kill himself than let them have their way.

The sound of a horn halted the assault, and Bakugo looked up to see a person riding towards them.

"STOP!" The man shouts while pulling his horse to a stop.

"Alpha Master Izuku!" Someone says his name.

Bakugo glared at the man on the horseback in foreign clothing. He had a mass of green curls and big green eyes that made him look younger than he probably is. All the soldiers reacted to him at the reveal of his title; this alpha is a man of high importance. On his belt is a sword, and on his back a curved blade. The alpha is a warrior.

Izuku finally sets eyes on the Alpha Slayer, and he's not in the state Izuku was hoping for. The Alpha Slayer was slumped in numerous arms, covered in dirt and blood, and was mostly naked. He knew what the soldiers were planning to do, and Izuku tried not to show his outrage.

"No one will touch this man, for I am taking him in under my care," Izuku tells them. "Keep him bound and put him in the prisoner's wagon, but do it with care, and have him brought to my villa!" Izuku then turned to one of his scouts and ordered the person to go with them to ensure the Alpha Slayer's safety.

"I won't…be your prisoner!" Bakugo managed to spit out at Izuku. "I'll kill you first!"

"We'll talk more when you're rested," Izuku said to him. "Remember, treat him with care and respect!"

"He showed no respect to us!" Someone shouted.

"Why would he when so many alphas act like that?" Izuku countered, pointing to the small mob. "The war is over! Return to your homes and families!" He mounted his horse and let his gaze linger on the Alpha Slayer one last time before riding off with his scouts. 'I wonder what I have gotten myself into?'

~*~

Bakugo struggled the entire wagon ride while bound, blindfolded, and gagged. All he could think about was the crushing defeat of his clan and the near forced mounting. Now he was being brought to an alpha's place to become a prisoner or a slave. He was well aware of how rich alphas in the Empire treated their omega slaves. Omegas barely have any rights and are at the complete mercy of their alphas. Well, that wouldn't be him. He won't be enslaved; he won't be a prisoner, and he sure as hell won't be a mounting slave.

When the wagon stopped, he was carried somewhere else and still struggling to escape. No one would mention where they were taking him. Then, something hard and heavy landed on his head, and it all went dark.

Bakugo slowly opened his eyes, his vision blurry as they tried to adjust to the new surroundings. The first thing he noticed was that he was no longer bound and gagged. He sat up quickly, finding himself seated on something soft; it was a bed. Bakugo looked around the room as his vision began to clear. There were no windows, only stone walls. A prison cell? No, it couldn't be because there were tapestries on the walls and a large rug on the floor. A small fireplace provides warmth and light to the equally small room. Where exactly was he?

His body was cleaned and clothed, but nothing was left of his life as a chief. Bakugo then took a moment to replay every last event that led up until now. His clan gave up on him and surrendered. The Empire purposefully sent a large army, knowing that his was small. And in front of his clan, the Empire soldiers were going to force mount him. If it weren't for that Alpa Izuku, he would be dead by now. What will become of him now? He should start to plan an escape, but even if he did escape, where would he go? He no longer has a clan or a home. He wouldn't go crawling back to the Wolf Clan after what they did.

A dark thought crossed Bakugo's mind, and it made his eyes grow wide as they searched the room for something sharp. However, he found nothing he could use to end his life.

"I will not be defeated!" Bakugo growls, gripping his fists on his thighs as he places his tongue between his teeth. 'Fuck the alphas and fuck the Empire!'

He tried to bite down, but nothing happened. So Bakugo tried again, and then one last time before realizing that he didn't want to die. The frustration brought stinging tears to his eyes. He was enjoying his freedom and slaying alphas just recently, only to have it all taken away in the blink of an eye. And now he can't even kill himself!

Bakugo held his breath when the lock on the door clicked, and it opened. His instant reaction was to run to the door and knock the person away to escape, and that's what he tried to do. When he reached the door, he slammed into something hard, which stunned him and nearly sent him stumbling backward.

"Ah, I made a good choice in bringing this!"

Bakugo recognized that voice! It was Alpha Izuku, and he was holding a shield?

"Sorry, I didn't mean to knock you down!" Izuku closed the door behind him and locked it.

"Fuck off, scum!" Bakugo spat at his feet.

"I know you're upset, and you have a right to be! But I want to let you know that you have nothing to worry about, okay? You're safe here,"

Bakugo let out a curt laugh and crossed his arms. "Don't think that I will spread my legs for you just because you're pretending to be nice to me," he said.

"Oh, no, I would never ask that of you," Izuku said, but it was clear that Bakugo didn't believe him. "I guess I should properly introduce myself."

"Alpha Asshole. That's all the name you need."

Izuku chuckled at that, which Bakugo didn't like. "I'm Izuku Midoriya, a Lord and General of the Empire," He smiles proudly. "I hail from the Southlands of Nabu; that's why my clothes are a little different."

"I don't care!"

"Your name is Chief Katsuki Bakugo, right?

Bakugo slowly narrowed his eyes at Izuku. 'Why is he still calling me 'chief'?' "Damn right. And that's a name you'd better not ever forget!"

"Noted!" Izuku laughed, then brought his tone down. "You won't believe me, but I know how you're feeling. I didn't want my people to give in to the Empire either, but at that time, I was still too young to try and make a difference. But our sultan surrendered, and we had to change loyalties. I do miss my homeland," he says thoughtfully. "I haven't been home in over three years.” Bakugo continued to ignore him. “ I also act as a translator for my people and the Empire. I see that you can speak the common tongue, too."

Bakugo responded in his native language and likely assumed that he didn't know it. Izuku DID speak the language of the tribes. He was tutored by one of the chiefs last year and picked up the language quickly. He understood what Bakugo said.

"No thanks," he said in Bakugo's tongue. "I don't want to eat shit and die." He smiled at the look of surprise on Bakugo's face. "Yes, I can speak your tongue, too. I'm sure I still have more to learn, though."

"Why are you keeping me here? What do you plan to do with me?" Bakugo demanded.

"I thought you would like to become a member of my household,"

"NEVER! I will be owned by no one!"

"I understand, I really do! I don't have 'slaves' in my household; I have servants. I treat them well, and I even pay them a wage. Bakugo, I can tell that you are extremely intelligent, and you have to know that you won't be safe out there. You're labeled a war criminal, and the Emperor wants to make an example out of you," Izuku dropped his voice and smiled softly at Bakugo. "He would put you in his harem, and you don't deserve that. No one does. I have the utmost respect for omegas and their choices. You’ll have choices here."

Bakugo scoffed again. "How many more lies do you want to spew out? You're the worst alpha I've ever met! At least all the others I slew were fucking honest in their superiority!"

Izuku sighed. "I’m not like other alphas, just as you’re not like other omegas. I can understand how you would think like that about alphas, but I hope you come to trust me soon."

"Never. I can only trust myself. You might as well kill me now because I won't be a slave or a servant in your home!"

‘He is really stubborn,’ Izuku thought to himself. Then, he got an idea. He could play Bakugo's game and win a bit of the omega's respect in return. "Okay, let's try this. You and me, we'll have a duel. A fight." He liked the sparkle of excitement he saw in Bakugo's eyes. "If I win, you will stay here as a servant in my home until your…past can be rendered. If you win, then you can leave."

"I'll let you pick the weapons!" Bakugo smirked, licking his lips and rubbing his hands together. "Go get the weapons, so I can finish this and be out of this shithole!"

"No weapons," Izuku says, dropping the shield to the floor. "Hand-to-hand combat."

Bakugo raised a brow. "Then who wins?"

"Whoever pins down the other or knocks the other out- OOF!" Izuku was not prepared for Bakugo's fist to strike his jaw. He stumbled a little, placing a hand to his aching jaw. “You hit hard-” he blocked the next punch, and another followed.

Bakugo was coming at him with everything from fists, to feet, to knees, to even biting! Izuku needed this short time to get a feel for Bakugo's fighting style. The rumors were not rumors; Katsuki Bakugo, the Alpha Slayer, lives up to his alpha-like strength. Izuku would never hit an omega under normal circumstances. Still, if he was to win Bakugo's respect, he needs to treat the omega like an alpha. Finding an opening, Izuku swung his fist and struck Bakugo under the chin. Then, he kicked Bakugo in the stomach, sending the omega stumbling backward. Bakugo's red eyes flared, and he charged back at Izuku, who blocked him.

It turned into a battle of strength with Bakugo and Izuku pushing against each other; Bakugo's fists in Izuku's palms. Bakugo swiped Izuku's ankle, and the alpha fell to the floor, which he took advantage of to hold him down. But Izuku knees Bakugo under the ribcage and pushes him off, rolling over to pin him. Izuku thought he had won, but Bakugo's behavior turned from violent to erratic. Instead of fighting back, Bakugo started to struggle with a look of panic on his face.

"GET OFF ME! GET OFF! GET OFF! GET OFF!" Bakugo shouted in a frantic mantra.

Izuku did so immediately, confused by Bakugo's sudden change in personality. The omega crab-walked backward to press up against the wall, trying to get away from him. Those constantly narrowed eyes were now wide with fear as if debating fight or flight, which he could be thinking.

"Bakugo?" Izuku said his name softly.

Bakugo's flashbacks of those horrible times left as quickly as they came, and he realized he had just shown weakness in front of his captor. Pulling himself together, Bakugo stood up and, with a roar, attacked Izuku.

Izuku took a few of Bakugo's punches before fighting back, and this time, he wouldn't pin the other. Instead, he got the chance to slide behind Bakugo and grab him in a bear hug, rendering him unable to use his arms. Bakugo started to scream violently, kicking and flailing while thrashing his head. Izuku had to keep avoiding Bakugo's headbutts. Still, when they became too frequent, he ended up shoving Bakugo against the wall. He hated doing it, but it was to protect himself and Bakugo until the omega calmed down. Izuku used all of his weight to render Bakugo motionless against the wall, trying to drown out the pained cries of a traumatized omega. He recognized those screams.

"Calm down," Izuku tried to keep his voice soft. "Please, Chief Bakugo, calm down! You're safe here! I promise!"

He was afraid to let Bakugo go, so he continued to hold him until the omega exhausted himself. When Bakugo finally settled, panting heavily and drenched in sweat, Izuku released his hold. He prepared for another attack, but it appeared Bakugo was completely spent, not just physically but both mentally and emotionally. The omega looked lost, as if in a trance while his body shook with slight tremors.

"Chief Bakugo, you need to rest," he would keep using Bakugo's title. He waited for Bakugo to remember, but the omega wasn't moving, only standing there, panting, and staring at the floor. "Chief Bakugo… it's okay. You're safe here," Izuku tells him again. "I'm sorry if I…did something that upset you." When Bakugo glanced at him, Izuku lowered himself to one knee. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to harm you. Please, forgive me?"

Bakugo could only stare at the alpha apologizing to him on one knee. He didn't know what to say if there was anything to be said. He had lost the fight and now will be expected to stay here until he escapes. But…he showed weakness, a weakness that he couldn't control. Bakugo grits his teeth hard enough to draw blood from his gums.

"Get out!" Bakugo shouts at Izuku. "Get out! I want you out!"

Izuku stands from the floor, backing up slowly with his hands up to show Bakugo that he did not mean to attempt anything more.

“Yes, Chief Bakugo,” Izuku says. "Please, get some rest. I apologize again."

“GET OUT OR I’LL KILL YOU!”
