Notes:

This podfic happened because:
1) I learned a new method of editing called "punch and roll" that makes the podficcing process at least ten times faster, so that even in my very very limited downtime I'm suddenly able to create stuff. I'm not able to be nearly as much of a perfectionist about it as I've been in the past, but that's a habit I've been trying to stop anyway, so it's for the best.
2) I was going through a very rough month IRL, nothing especially personal, just the way the pandemic and my job and the laws in my country overlapped meaning I was at very high risk every day of spreading illness to very vulnerable family members.
3) I have been comfort-reading Ted/Trent fic for months and have been craving some podfic of the pairing to comfort-listen to.

So I decided to podfic this story, mostly for myself. But I am used to posting what I podfic, so I'm sharing it as well!

That said...

I am not British in the slightest. I did grow up in a southern US state but never with Ted's accent, and I don't think my current accent much reflects the accents from my home state. So what I'm trying to say is that I can't really accurately imitate the accent of a single character in this story. I gestured towards their accents in a way that mostly works for *me* as a listener but that may or may not work for y'all when you listen.

Also for most of the time I was making this, I was having to shout through a face mask over multiple air filters through a lot of every day, so you'll hear varying amounts of hoarseness in my voice. I hope instead of being annoying that can maybe be a reminder that even in hard times, people make art to comfort themselves and share it with others to spread the comfort and love? And perhaps you will take note of the hoarseness fondly?

Final thing: I initially tried recording Seraphina's lines myself, but since I do have a 3.5-year-old on hand and it was just too good of an opportunity to pass up, I've brought her in as a special guest voice for Seraphina's lines. I'm pretty confident that at least that part of it will be cute and charming :)

All that said, I've had SO MUCH FUN working on this. It's been ages since I've felt so *into* a podfic, so excited and motivated and joyful about it.

Please no constructive criticism—again, this is just for fun and comfort, and I don't have any additional bandwidth to make changes to my process or to the files I've finished so far.
