Work Text:

It was late, the clock nearly striking midnight by the time Aaron Hotchner collapsed beside you on the floor of the living room, head resting on your lap and a gentle sigh escaping his mouth. The lights of the Christmas tree twinkled over his face, glowing against his skin, and his hair was messy with the gel coming out hours ago.

“That’s the last of it, all the wrapping is done, finally.” He’d closed his eyes, and you let your hand rest against his cheek, and with a small smile, he leaned into your touch, soft and warm.

“And to think, all that careful wrapping will be undone in ten minutes when Jack wakes up in the morning.” Aaron groans in response to your statement, and all you can do is chuckle as he swings an arm around your waist and clings on, not wanting to let go until you hauled him to bed.

“God, don’t remind me, it’s going to be absolute carnage in here tomorrow.” He opened his eyes then, looking at you upside down, and then he grinned, sat up and moved to sit against the front of the couch with you, legs out against the soft carpet and the even softer rug that the two of you had purchased when you bought the house you lived in.

“You know, I was thinking of giving you one of your Christmas presents early.” Aaron suddenly had that smirk on his face that only spelled mischief, and right away, you knew your husband was up to something.

“Oh no, what’s going on in that brain of yours? Should I be worried?” Jokingly you move away, but soon Aaron has you in his arms, and you’re on that soft rug, with your back against the material and his chest pressed to yours.

“The only thing you should be worried about is if you’ll be able to walk tomorrow.” A look of shock passed over your face then, before you broke out into laughter, quickly followed by Aaron. “Well, that might have been me coming on too strong.”

“Aaron, hell, give me some warning before you suddenly turn into a master of seduction.” He just grinned down at you while you tried to stifle your laughter still, but that didn’t stop him from starting to litter kisses across your skin, down your exposed neck and over your cheeks.

For a moment the two of you got lost in each other, wrapped up in the warm glow of the fireplace and the soft crackling of the logs, and Aaron couldn’t help himself when he kissed you sweetly, cradling you against him with his hands pressing in against your waist, nearly leaving you breathless from his touch.

“Are you sure Jack is actually asleep?” Aaron hummed against your skin in response to your question, not really listening as his fingers started to pull down the front of your sweater (well his sweater actually) and all you could do was lay there as the man tried to take you apart with his lips and hands.

You could hear him huffing between kisses as he tried to push your sweater away, and after chuckling at him, you gently pushed him away with a pout on his face, and got the sweater off your body. His eyes went straight to your exposed skin, and as you took his hand to bring him back to you, his lips went straight to the curve of your shoulder and neck.

“That’s so much better, fuck, you’re stunning.” As he let compliments fall from his mouth, you grinned and tugged his shirt off, yanking it over his head. His chest was broad and strong, and warm as it pressed against yours and Aaron’s lips touched yours. Folding your arms behind his neck and bringing him as close as you could, you let his tongue slip into your mouth, moaning softly as he bit the edge of your bottom lip.

“Sweetheart, please, give me something.” You were nearly begging, and Aaron had hardly done except give you a few lazy kisses and pressed his hot skin to yours. But he knew he couldn’t deny you, and after grabbing a pillow from the couch to prop your head on, and moving down your body slightly to kiss over the swell of your breasts and stomach, Aaron already knew what he had in store for you.

“I was going to wait for Christmas morning to do this, but I don’t think I can wait any longer.” He was tugging off your track pants, throwing them across the room and watching as you peered at him, cheeks warm and hair a mess against the small cushion. “God all I want to do is kiss you, come here.” He moved back to you, again kissing you hard and fast, hunger and want for you filling the pit of his stomach, ad your hands ran through his hair, pulling the longer than usual strands. His lips were on your neck then, biting and nipping at the skin until he got the reaction he wanted; a wanting moan escaping your mouth as you clung to him.

“Aaron, you know you can’t leave marks! We’ve got Christmas lunch tomorrow.” He chuckled against your skin but pulled away just enough to speak.

“Right now I don’t give a damn, honey.” You didn’t argue, too caught up in the pleasure as his mouth landed on your breasts and left marks there too. And soon (still not soon enough) he was pulling down your underwear, tossing them away from you and gazing down at your cunt, already wet and glistening in the light of the Christmas tree. His mouth latched onto you suddenly, pulling a loud gasp of shock and pleasure out of you, and with all the want in the world, Aaron was kissing over your mound and lapping over your folds, trying to pull every ounce of delight out of you. He had you withering against the rug, skin running hot and twinkling lights running over your body. You nearly felt dizzy from how much attention he was paying you.

He inserted a finger then, going in slow so that you could adjust as you wanted to, and soon you were nearing that high, the atmosphere and his touch and his lips and the noises he was pulling from you nearly too much. You were growing louder under his hands, and he tried to quieten you, hushing and shushing you as your moans echoed around the room. He knew he had to be quick, had to get you over the edge because he knew Jack could wake up at any moment, but Aaron didn’t bother to tell you to be quiet, because he loved your noises too much.

You reached for him then, wanting something to hold onto as he pushed you closer and close with his tongue, and as soon as he took hold of your hand in a comforting grip, you were tumbling over the edge, a soft and exhausted whine leaving your mouth as Aaron let his lips leave your mound to stop you from getting over sensitive. You were panting as he moved back up to you, smiling down over you, a look of adoration covering his face as you leaned up to kiss him, feeling your juices on his lips.

“Daddy? I don’t have my teddy.” Suddenly a little voice sounded out from the hallway, and both you and Aaron froze, a look of horror passing over your features as Aaron reluctantly pulled himself away from you and threw a soft blanket over you. He turned around and stood up, searching for where Jack could be.

“Jack, buddy, you should be in bed.” Aaron makes sure you’re covered before leaving the room to take the child back to bed, and as soon as you can hear Aaron picking up Jack and carrying him back to his room, you let out a sigh of relief, glad you didn’t end up scarring the boy for life. You could hear your boys talking to each other, and the shrill laughter from Jack as Aaron tried to tuck him into bed, and as you looked around the lounge room, you knew you should get up and clean, making sure that your underwear wasn’t hanging off the arm of the couch.

“Red alert, have you seen Ted anywhere?” Aaron walked back into the room then, eyes searching for the teddy bear until his gaze landed on you, and his eyes went wide with awe. “God, you’re the most beautiful sight.” He nearly comes back to you, but you shake your head with a fond smile.
“Uh uh, no way, Hotchner, go get Ted, who’s on the armchair by the way, and go tuck Jack into bed.” The grown man pouts at you, only wanting to wrap you in his arms again and kiss you silly, but he knows you’re right, especially when Jack calls out “dad!”

“Fine, fine! But then I’m coming back for you, my darling.” He was gone then after grabbing Ted off the chair and sending you a cheeky smile. And he wasn’t lying when he said he’d come back for you because as soon as Jack was asleep, Aaron was shutting his bedroom door softly and coming to collect you from the lounge room.

He lifted you into his arms, much to your shock, and held your blanket-covered body to him, shifting you slightly so you could hold your arms around his neck.

“Come on, sweetheart, I don’t believe we’ve finished our Christmas debauchery yet, time for bed.” All you could do was laugh against his chest, and for a moment, you knew you were never falling out of love with this man, and that was completely alright with you.

Especially when he loved you so much, and could pull your body apart with pleasure, while also making you feel so soft and comfortable in his strong embrace. You wouldn’t trade this Christmas eve for anything. And as you laid against his chest in the very early hours of Christmas morning, you knew there was nowhere you’d rather be.
