Work Text:
Silent.
The room is silent with only a few servants that still stayed in the house. It's nearly Christmas with snow trickling from the sky in a slow pattern as it drops to the ground, dissolving into water but forming thick levels of new ground—cold and slightly soft.
Diluc sat in his office, dimly lit with only enough light for his eyes at the desk. There, he scribbles his signature, notes and other matters for the next shipment. He relaxes into the chair—brows folding together as he tries to make out of the words beneath him, tired.
With a long sigh he leans against his chair—a knocking sound meeting his ears.
"Come in" he says.
The door creaks open and he flinches.
Adelinde walks in, hands to her front as she bows then speaks. "Apologies for the intrusion, Master Diluc. Sir Kaeya would like to hold a meeting about the rest of the clients tomorrow morning"
Diluc did his best not to roll his eyes and groan. He could've cut ties from that man long ago, yet he didn't.
"Tell him I'll be available tomorrow morning"
Adelinde bows respectfully, giving a nod before turning her heel and—
"By the way, can we get someone to oil the hinges? Preferably by tomorrow morning as well"
"I'll inform Elzer of that"
"Thank you"
She leaves.
Diluc is now alone with only the company of his documents, a feather and an ink tray—a few ready to use wax seals on the side. He picks it up and scans it—twirling the item in his hand, thumbing over the Ragnvindr seal, recalling all the time he remembered his father use it.
"When you become of age, you will get to use this too!"
He had said.
Diluc clenches the item before placing it back and pulling his seat closer to hopefully get himself back in his working zone.
Documents, papers, files—a repetitive cycle of boring letters all bunches up in rows.
Nothing new. Nothing fun. It's all the same.
Minutes after Adelinde left, Diluc rubs his eyes, then temples as he tries to focus on a document about shipping. There were too many errors it almost seemed like an amateur made it but even those learning could do something better—
A knock met his ears.
He eyes the door but realizes it wasn't even there. The direction was towards his side—preferably towards one of his walls.
His windows are closed off from the outside, fear of the cold coming in as the snow surged through the wind—no rest as frosty icicles formed at the glass panes.
He pays it no mind.
But the knocks continue.
"Come in" he absently says, eyes glued to the words in front of him but even then, he doesn't hear a follow up sound of the door opening.
"I said come in" he reiterates.
"I'm in, I'm in. Sheesh, can't a man take his time?" Diluc quickly whips his head to the side, bringing out his vision as his chair tumbles over at the abrupt standing and backing up.
Due to the dim lighting from only his desk he could only see a figure and blue bright eyes glowing through the dark. There was no creak in his step. It was silent.
Diluc produced a small ball of fire from his hand as his vision glows.
"You have those toys too? How wonderful~" the cheery voice sang, making his way closer to the redhead but Diluc backs up.
"Don't move or I will burn you"
"Try me"
Diluc squints, head subconsciously leaning forwards, hoping to see more of the man's lean figure. There isn't much except for his clothes and a flurry of hair and his eyes. Cerulean deeps eyes that stared contently.
"How did you get in here?"
The stranger hums. "Usually people would go, who are you or... something along those lines but that works too"
Diluc puts his hand to the side, pocketing his vision as he slowly materializes his weapon but before it fully appears, it disappears back into dust—glitters scattering about as his back is suddenly pressed to the wall, his shoulders secured with hands pushing against them.
"You know, Master Diluc..." The stranger leans—breathing a warm breath of air against his neck as Diluc leans to the side, doing his best to nudge but no budge. This guy is more rigid than he thought. "I've been watching over you ever since that incident with your dear old papa"
Ruby eyes go wide as his leg kicked high but the man merely dodges—backing away ever so casual, the smile on his face visible.
The window to their side made it easy to see the ginger hair resting on his head. The red crystal earring that dangled on his lobe then a seemingly odd uniform—one that covered most his body. A grin rests on his face.
"What do you want" a statement rather than a question but the stranger obliges.
"Your blood"
Baffled, Diluc scoffs. "Are you pretending to be a vampire? Because games in these times aren't funny"
"Oh but I'm being serious!"
Diluc wanted to roll his eyes, realizing how his papers were suddenly fixed and stacked on his desk in the neatest way possible.
"Vampires don't exist. They're merely something that drives children out of the woods"
"And if I said I was one, what would you do, Master Diluc?"
Diluc glares at the man—locking eyes. "Leave." It wasn't an answer to his question but rather, a command to the intruder.
"No" the latter simply spoke.
Diluc then materializes his claymore but as he swings it—another failed attempt to land at the man as his chest gets pushed against the wall, hands twisted behind him in some kind of lock as his weapon clatters down to their feet.
"Your efforts are futile, Master Diluc"
"Let go of me" he demands but the ginger merely laughs—closing in to reveal Diluc's clean and soft neck.
"Call me Childe or Tartaglia. Which ever you prefer, I don't mind"
Diluc struggles to tug away, insides already panicking as he feels the warm breath touch his skin—tickling his hair as sharpness sink into his skin. A stinging feeling pangs against his head—a pulsing sense that looped itself as Childe sinks his teeth further, releasing more and more blood.
Diluc gasps at the feeling, losing his strength as he submits. He could sense his breathing go short, a hitch and a stop as he feels that tongue trail over the bare of his flesh.
Diluc shivers.
Childe smiles against him—letting his fangs pierce through and allowing more blood to trail away and stain at his clothes.
The stranger pulls away, finally letting go of Diluc's wrists—watching the man struggle to keep his balance. His vision goes blurry and his head goes light. "What did you—"
"I'll come back for my meal tomorrow, Master Diluc"
A thud as he left.
Next evening came and again, Diluc is left by himself but this time he's actually alone in the house—walking through the hallways then turning as he reaches out for the door, something taps his shoulder and he flinches. He turns his head and materializes his claymore without hesitance and swings it to the perpetrator. Eyes squint. "Why are you back?"
"I did inform you yesterday that I'd come again for my meal, did I not?" Childe happily says, dodging the weapon with ease. "Such a big object. Sharp one too but this won't hurt me—"
Diluc lands a kick on his stomach and for once, Childe coughs, clenching the victimized part as he stumbles backwards falling with a loud thud.
The tip of the claymore pressed against his neck. "Who are you and why do you want my blood?"
"Haven't I told you this? Vampires need blood to survive."
"Not all. Some vamps necessarily need blood"
"Well, this one does—"
"And why mine exactly?"
"It tastes good. It's still pure and clean—"
Diluc cringes. "So you're generally a pervert"
"No—" the weapon pressed harder. "Fine, here—if we battle this one out and you win, I'll never bother you ever again"
"And if you win?"
"I get my fill regularly"
Diluc eyes him. Surely his vision would grant him enough strength right? Vampires burn, is what his father had told him before. Cut off his head then burn him right away because apparently garlic, sunlight and stakes were only there to be part of stories.
He eyes him approvingly, lifting the weapon off and walking towards the stairs. "Hurry up. It's cold and I have paper work to do"
Reasonable. Diluc is being reasonable as Childe giddily smiles, dashing to his side—hands behind his back.
The two walked to some open area—snow enveloping them as the cold harsh winds flurries through but both were unfazed. A mortal and a vampire stood in the middle.
"Do you know how to read wind directions?" Diluc asks and Childe nods, giving a thumbs up.
"The moment the wind shifts, that's the go"
Childe gives an okay sign—standing idly, a bit too open for Diluc's liking. He had something up his sleeve and he knows it.
They wait a few seconds—the wind blowing, ruffling their hair and when it finally shifts, they dashed towards each other.
Diluc went in first—swinging his claymore while Childe dodges, moving lower but a foot comes his way. Again, Childe dodges—moving backwards as swiftly as possible, his steps clean from the snow covered surface.
"You're not taking this seriously" Childe frowns.
Diluc isn't. He's not as absorbed as he'd want to be but who was he to blame? He had an entire day working out how to go with the shipments. Some of his branches seemed to hit shortages due to the sudden blizzards that caused the delay of his supplies.
"And if I'm not, what then?"
"Then it'd be no fun. Show some spirit, Master Diluc!"
Diluc blinks. In a short moment of time, a flat palm is felt against his abdomen before a gush of force suddenly pushes him backwards, in result—coughing up as he rubbed the sore spot. He uses the claymore to stabilize himself as he glared at his opponent, thinking of the next best move.
Before he could even proper himself up, Childe appears beside him—giving him a rough swing to his legs, the claymore flying out of his hand as Diluc stumbles to the ground. He groans at the sudden pain on his back and legs, trying to get up but a sudden force pushes him downwards—locking his body to the floor as Childe pushes against him, heel to his chest.
"This would've been more fun if you took this seriously, Master Diluc" Childe pouts, grinding his boot. Diluc's face contorts in pain, feeling the leather dig into his chest.
Diluc says no more.
Childe absently stares—noticing the bluish color faintly tinting the latter's lips and took this as a cue for them to get back to the mansion, clicking his tongue.
Silently, he carries Diluc up—bridal style—back to the mansion, shutting the door behind them and bringing the redhead on a seat close to the fire place. "You could've said you were cold" he mutters. Diluc doesn't answer.
The air between them is thick, with only the sound of crackling wood penetrating through. It was almost unbearable but neither wanted to say anything.
Shuffling of clothes catch Childe's attention, turning his gaze away from the flaming embers to the man behind him—eyes going wide as he watched him remove his top coat. Fingers go down to unbutton his vest, slipping it off then carefully pulling his undershirt over his head—revealing fresh and smooth skin. Soft and creamy as Childe gulps, watching the redhead turn his head away.
"What are you doing" Childe's lips were dry. The vampire could feel his instincts kick in. The pure bloodlust and need for satisfaction washes over him—eyeing the clean skin the latter possessed.
"We had a deal, remember? I'm not one to back d—"
Then, searing pain embeds itself as fangs pierce his flesh, drawing out blood. Crimson seeped out as it escapes from the newly made bites Childe gave.
Diluc hisses, bringing both arms to tug on Childe's head. "I think that's enough—" he breathlessly says but the ginger made no hints of budging, rather—pressing himself more.
Diluc gasps as a tongue trails the open wounds, over the stinging sensation and to clean flesh that hasn't been marked yet. Crimson dribbles down his neck, shoulders then past his collar bone. He struggles to keep his balance on the chair as he does his best to push the latter back.
"Haven't you had—" a nudge. "—enough, you—" Diluc tries to kick but no reaction. "—you greedy vampire—"
Childe finally pulls away, staring at Diluc's tear-glazed eyes, watering up as breathy pants fill the the silence. His hair is disheveled while the messy red trails of his own blood still tainted his skin, a matching red to his hair and face.
Childe opens his mouth, the bloodlust still obvious in his eyes as he leans in again, placing a hand to the rest of the chair. "I will be... coming back tomorrow for my next meal"
His voice was deep and coated in the rich sound of neediness and possession. His blue eyes turned deep and dark—sparkling, filled with intent.
Diluc shivers.
In a second, he's gone again.
It happens several more nights. An everyday routine where Childe would break in during the evening when Diluc is most vulnerable and sink his teeth into his fresh meal set out for him. A beautiful feeling it was for the vampire as the taste of blood constantly hits him with every pleasurable sense possible.
The eighth night came and Childe goes back to Diluc's house, though this time he's in his room—panting.
Childe offers a smirk. "It's finally taking effect, hasn't it"
Diluc glares at the vampire, trying to level his breathing but fails to do so. He speaks and his voice croaks. Scratchiness and breathy words come out—"What the fuck did you do to me?"
"Vampires have this natural aphrodisiac that release during blood sucking sessions. I'm surprised it only took effect today. You must be troubled with something to let your guard down" Childe walks towards the bed and Diluc backs up. "You really are something else, Master Diluc"
"Get out right now"
"Don't you want a helping hand?"
"I said—"
"You seem to be suffering down there"
"—get out"
Childe chuckles to himself, finally leaning towards the man as his knee made contact with the soft and plush mattress. In a whisper, he says, "No"
Diluc's back drops against the soft bed with a slight bounce as he glared up at the vampire, eyeing how dull blue orbs stared into his ruby ones, lust and greed distinct within.
"This wasn't part of the fucking—hgmphh"
Diluc struggles as a mouth swipes against his own, arms pinned above his head as he squirms beneath the latter's hold. Childe watched from under his lashes how Diluc's eyes shut close, his legs trying to kick the man off but to no avail.
Childe smirks into the kiss, twisting his head and bringing himself deeper—feeling the redhead melt into the kiss, jaw growing slack.
The vampire finally pulls away, relishing in the deep blush that formed across Diluc's cheeks—reaching to his ears. Faint stains of saliva shone from his lips as the redhead pants, hips subconsciously bucking—longing for any such friction against his.
Childe lowers his hand to the obvious hard-on, rubbing the already forming stain on his pants. Diluc moans and Childe presses. Diluc squirms—struggling against the hand locking him in.
"...—please—" he whispers.
The vampire leans, brushing his lips against the latter's, Diluc capturing them—letting that intoxicating feeling choke him. His guard is down and his mind is a mess—clouded with lust and heat.
"Please what? You have to tell me what you want, firefly"
At this, Diluc would've shouted—yelled at him but his tongue seemed to back out, the feeling of hunger surging through his veins as his back arches with every slow and painful press against his clothed erection.
Diluc breathes. "L—let me—" Childe rubs it a bit harder, tracing the shape and making his attempts to unbutton his pants then slipping his hand in—feeling hard and leaking flesh within his palm.
"Mhm?"
"I want c—hah~ cum—"
Diluc's breath hitches when he feels his edge coming close but everything stops when Childe's hand goes slack—loosens his grip and smiles sweetly at the redhead.
"W—why did—"
"Do you really want it~?" Asked his playful tone.
Diluc glares, or at least tries to do so. His eyes avert their gaze to the side, his blush deepening if it can even go darker; his lips part carefully and in the most hushed voice, he says. "I want to cum"
In mere seconds, Diluc's pants is ripped off his legs, together with his underwear—exposing his cock, madly leaking against his stomach. Painful embarrassment washes over him as he watches Childe lick his lips, lowering himself and giving his cock a long and throbbing stroke. "As you wish, Master Diluc"
He cums.
.
Childe pauses for a moment—processing what just happened as he looked down to see the streaks of white, originating from the very slit. He blinks silently and Diluc whines, feeling the hand still continue to pump him. It seems even Diluc is surprised at his sudden ejaculation as tears suddenly form at the brim of his eyelids, and muttering small words of—
"S—sorry I didn't—"
Childe hushes the man, bringing out his own throbbing cock and aligns himself to Diluc's entrance. "It's fine—woah"
Diluc's breath hitches, feeling the sudden prodding at his ass as fingers somehow easily slip in. He looks down then at Childe's smug face. His cock lay limp against his stomach but Childe knew no limit as he thrusts himself in, outright ignoring Diluc's cries and protests.
"I just— c—came I can't—"
"You're saying this yet you're—fuck—sucking me in so good~" Childe grinds and Diluc screams, feeling that bundle of nerves hit with perfect precision.
Tears flow past Diluc's cheeks relentlessly as his body rocks against the side of the bed—Childe ramming himself, bucking his hips and snapping into Diluc's rear.
The redhead is drunk in pleasure as he drank all the stimulations he's offered—gripping onto the sheets beneath him with for dear life while his ass moves itself clumsily to meet the latter's thrusts.
More and just a bit more, Diluc's back arches when he feels himself build up once more—readying himself for release before cumming a load yet again, strings of white reaching until Childe's chin and splattering against their chests and his stomach, but Childe kept going just a bit more—feeling the sudden clench until finally, he releases his load, just as he swiftly removes himself out—therefore cumming onto Diluc's ass but not inside.
They both stay there in silence as Childe lets go of the latter's wrists. He was prepared for a full lashing but somehow, his lips met the other's—soft and slow, tasting his very mouth as his tongue indulges in his flavor.
Their eyes meet, not with hatred but rather with longing visible. It was odd, a bit new but it was welcomed as Childe smiled against the sweet kiss.
They pull back once more and Childe speaks. "Does this mean I'll take my meals more regularly now?"
"No" came the redhead's quick answer and Childe merely pouts.
Maybe, Diluc thought in the back of his mind. He's cute anyway.
