Being by yourself, forced into a role you did not ask for but was practically born into, was difficult. Idia was used to it now, but did that mean he liked it? No. Of course not.
He had been trained since birth to become the head director of S.T.Y.X. someday. It was what his parents expected, no… required, he just went along with it. Even so, this constant pressure was excruciating. He savored the times he could lose himself in games or comics, just to be put in a different world temporarily to escape this box of expectations. But his job had things that needed to be done, he could never stay away too long.
When magicians were brought in, Idia would occasionally have to deal with them if the task proved too difficult for the units in the headquarters. The subjects were always tainted in overblot, completely lost of any humanity or morals. He would regard some behind a glass wall, observing them like he was supposed to. Up until their negative magic completely consumed them, he would just be observing…testing. Then he’d collect any blot crystals that had accumulated and submit them for later research.
When people were in this state…they were like animals…but Idia knew they weren’t normally like this. And the fact that he knew they had their humanity once, well, he’d be lying if he said seeing their violent descent downward over and over again didn’t affect him psychologically in some ways.
He really hated it. He hated being there. He hated dealing with “subjects.” He wished he could just be free of his duties and just be alone with Ortho. Just like old times when he was younger. When he was innocent. Even back then it was sometimes hard too, but growing up just seemed to increase life’s difficulty level. No one would understand him….and he didn’t want anyone to understand him. The thought of truly becoming friendly with someone, someone who could lose it at any moment and become a monster, haunted him. He’d rather be alone by himself or just with Ortho…either would be fine. Robots couldn’t overblot after all. He didn’t need anyone else.
That was until he met Malleus Draconia.
As a young teen, Idia was warned of some royalty showing up for a deal his parents had in the making, he had zero interest in it. His mom and dad initially wanted him to attend the meeting, but Idia made up a convincing excuse regarding his research and was let loose. Thank god. Just the thought of having to participate in a meeting with some hot-shots from god-knows-where made him want to vomit.
He hadn’t realized that day had come when he first met Malleus. He was so focused on typing on his holographic keyboard as he beelined through the halls that he straight up slammed into the young dragon prince.
He remembered the first thing he said to him as he rubbed his nose in pain, sprawled on the cool, metal floor. “Agh…you’re supposed to dodge me! Do your sensors need to be calibra—“ He had opened his eyes to first see unfamiliar black heels then traveled upwards, far upwards, to meet emerald-green eyes boring into his. The male before him wasn’t even the slightest bit affected by their little collision…and he was intimidating as hell. Pointed ears…slit eyes…even horns…? Definitely a fae of some sort.
“Ah, so you must be Idia Shroud.” Idia could hear his strong, but gentle voice reverberate against the metal walls, shaking him to his core. “My apologies…I thought you were going to stop. That…magic you were tapping on was see-through after all...” Magic?? Was he referring to his wireless keyboard and monitor?? ? Idia decided not to correct him as the tall boy slowly leaned down towards his face, looking with a hint of interest and smiling to where Idia could see his fangs. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you, my name is Malleus Draconia.”
Finally…? Why would this rando wanna meet him??? He wasn’t even the director…yet. When Malleus offered a hand, Idia snapped out of his thoughtful daze and quickly stood up by himself, brushing his long coat off. Speaking of which, why weren’t the magic police-force taking care of this guy?! Was that overly flashy-face of his the reason?! How agitating… “Hey…y-y-you’re not authorized…! I don’t know how you got in here, but intruders aren’t—“ He shrunk a bit when he noticed the height difference between both of them as Malleus stood to his full height once more… and it wasn’t just the heels. “Urk..! Y…You should r-r-really g-go…u-uh…Mr.Malleus…was it…??”
“Intruder…?” The raven-haired male rose a brow as he repeated after Idia. “It seems you're mistaken, I’m here with my grandmother, the Queen of the Valley of Thorns.” He looked around, taking everything in. “She, my guardian, and your parents are in a meeting. I was directed here to take a look around as they made leeway on the proposition being discussed.” He turned to look at Idia once more, almost an accusatory tone in his voice. “You don’t mind if I accompany you…do you, Shroud? Surely, you should realize I’m not an intruder now. Especially since I know your full name, if you recall.”
He was right…no one should know his full name, not unless they worked for S.T.Y.X., everything about them was WAY too confidential for that to slip out. The Isle of Lamentation wasn’t even on maps for goodness sake!
Idia solemnly accepted this as fact and mumbled something about having to work as Malleus followed him, though he decided not to protest. It didn’t seem like a smart idea to aggravate royal-blood on purpose, he had no idea what they were capable of. Plus his parents had some sort of business transaction going on.
Oddly enough, he found that he didn’t hate the presence of the other. Contrarily, he enjoyed it. This guy…it was like he had never seen tech in his life! He couldn’t help but snicker in amused astonishment at some of the statements and questions he presented…which may have come off as mean-spirited, but luckily Malleus didn’t take it as such.
While he was inquisitive of the various machinery and tasks Idia was performing, he was also respectful and didn’t talk so much as to annoy or distract him. Honestly, Idia had assumed Malleus would be some pompous prince with a bossy attitude, but it wasn’t the case. Fuihihi, and it really felt good to be praised for the intellect he knew he had by someone with such a high status~ …Even if some of his answers were as easy as 2 + 2 to his brain.
When the meeting concluded and a man, apparently named Lilia, called out to Malleus to collect him, the prince had said the oddest thing to him before he turned to leave. “Thank you for your time. You’re quite impressive, it’s remarkable really. I know my appearance was sudden, but thanks to this experience, my heart feels more settled on the matter at hand. I’ll be seeing you, Shroud.” With a slight bow of the head, Malleus turned and walked towards the short fae. Lilia seemed to glance at Malleus’ face for a moment and then look at Idia with a soft grin before following right beside Malleus.
Idia didn’t understand what all this meant at first, but later he would. After graduating from Night Raven College, he was to be married to Malleus Draconia, future King of the Valley of Thorns.
The Isle of Lamentation…there was technically no monarchy like many nations had, it was way too small for that, yet he was marrying into full-on royalty? What would that accomplish? He knew his family had the most power here, but why? What would that do?! Surely it wasn’t that valuable??? Or was he just being traded in for some quick, cheap transfer of information?!!?!
He was still young! He barely knew Malleus, no, he didn’t know Malleus at all! It was true he’d become the head director of S.T.Y.X. someday, but why did the Valley of Thorns want to be so entrenched in their business that he was to be married off to their future king of all people?! He wasn’t a prince, nor a fae!
He had brought up all these issues to his parents, but they would have none of it. He had to accept it. It was already done. Another essential part of his life decided for him just like that. Maybe if he had attended the meeting, he could’ve changed the outcome. It was doubtful, but still.
Ortho did his best to cheer him up, but even he couldn’t manage that. Idia wept alone, this was something he couldn’t simply undo. There was no escape key and time machines were all but fictional. He was going to be married. Married. Right after graduation? Not only that…Malleus had known. He knew…or at least had an idea! Those parting words were so obvious now…so why didn’t he say anything while he was there?!
All his upset was now trained on Malleus. But…he could be the key to breaking this. His frustrated tears turned into determination. Malleus was also young, so he surely must’ve not wanted this too. Idia was a stranger to him as well, after all. With this in mind, he asked his parents if he could meet Malleus once more. Perhaps they could figure out something together.
They met again weeks later. Apparently, it was difficult to get Malleus prepared for trips, he must’ve not been allowed to be out much. When together, Idia immediately brought him back into his room, no one could hear them there. Though Malleus questioned him for the reasoning, Idia went straight into business-mode.
Sitting on his swivel chair, he sat facing Malleus with the mesh backing against his chest. “I know this is sudden, Mr.Malleus, but I know what’s up now and…I w-want to help out…!”
The fae rose his brows in surprise. “Help out…? Regarding…?” He trailed off, confusion on his features.
“T..The marriage….I know it’s probably inconvenient for you…so why don’t we call it off?” He leaned forward in the chair. “You don’t want to marry a stranger, right? Especially decided this young…I completely agree with you!! So let’s put a stop to it!”
“Ah….” His expression suddenly turned troubled. “That’s what you called me here for, Shroud? I thought you wanted to spend time getting to know each other a bit more, before our school lives began.” He shook his head. “This marriage…I am fine with it.”
“F…Fine? Wh-Wh-What do you mean? W-We don’t know each other!” Idia was completely put off guard, he didn’t care?! Not even a little?!
“That is true, however…we can get to know each other, correct? I am your fiancé now, so do not worry about me. I really do not have any issues with our arrangement.” Malleus closed his eyes, tapping his chin in thought. “To be honest, I was very apprehensive at first…but after meeting Shroud once…I had this feeling of calm.” He opened eyes to search Idia’s face. “I feel very honored to be wed to someone with already so much talent and knowledge.”
The warm words of Malleus made Idia’s chest go fuzzy for a moment, but he quickly pushed it away. Words were just words….this was his future they were talking about! And he wasn’t about to be swept away by just a compliment! “D-Don’t you understand?! This is years from now, Mr.Malleus! You c-can’t want this, you want to pick your partner on your own terms, r-right?! There is no fate or destiny when it comes to love..!” He shook his head desperately, tears pricking at his eyes. This was the end, he wasn’t going to be able to convince him! He was trapped again, pressed under the thumb of dictation and being crushed.
“Y-You’re…You’re making a m-mistake. Every cliche points to the want to fall in love first. I don’t believe there is a thing like eternal love no matter the context, but deciding something like this so suddenly…based on what is comparable to a fling? It’s incomprehensible....” Idia whispered the last parts of his sentence, lowering his head behind the chair mesh.
The raven-haired fae was quiet for several seconds before speaking up. “Oya, oya…it seems I misunderstood…” He frowned as he held onto his forearms set against his chest. “I thought all of this was because you were worried about me, but Shroud….” He tilted his head, disappointment laced in his tone. “You are the one who is worried. Are you unhappy with this? Am I understanding this right?”
Idia peeked over the chair backing with a teary glare. “What do you t-think? How could I be worried about someone I just met to this extent…of course I’m only looking out for myself..!!!” He wiped his eyes before suddenly turning away. “Awful. Just awful…”
“I…I see…” Malleus squinted at the ground in thought as Idia calmed down his sniffling. After a minute or two he spoke. “Well…I have an idea.”
Idia slowly turned to face him again, though he didn’t have much hope. “….and what would that be?”
“I can not cancel the arrangement of our marriage. The Valley of Thorns would like to strengthen the relationship permanently with the Isle of Lamentation’s S.T.Y.X. as it would be mutually beneficial. The powerful magic of fae with our knowledge of lost history and languages mixed with the in-depth studies of overblot and impressively advanced technology of the Isle, this is why we’re set to marry in the first place. We would become not only more powerful, but it could bring forth new discoveries as well.” He gazed at Idia thoughtfully. “But…even if we are legally to-be-married, this is all going to be kept a secret until the actual ceremony years from now. So, I won’t expect you to act as my partner if we cross paths until that time comes. And when it does, I won’t implore you to act as my spouse when we are out of the public eye. You will be free to do as you please, as long as it doesn’t harm the public view concerning the Valley and Isle.”
Malleus slowly strode over to Idia, lifting his chin slightly so they could look at each other. “Though I understand your talk about not being in love so quickly, I would not throw away the possibility of falling in the future.” He smiled. “So, I ask you, why don’t you keep your heart open as well? Who knows…when we start our school lives, wherever that may take us, we may start to yearn for time together.” Malleus laughed, slipping his cool fingers away from Idia’s chin. “But, I won’t make you spend time with me, I’ll let you call for me on your own and make your own decision. Only if fate decides we cross paths shall I take advantage of the situation of spending time with you. What do you think, Shroud? Does that seem fair?”
Keep his heart open?? Pft, like that would make a difference in a forced marriage. But…this was better than nothing. Idia straightened up, sighing deeply. “Alright, Mr.Malleus….as long as you promise to keep your word, I agree.” He suddenly jutted out his pinky. “A-As a formal agreement, this is r-required.”
Malleus tilted his head at the gesture. “Hm…? What is that?” He blinked several times. “Are you holding an imaginary…teacup…? For what purpose does that serve…”
“H-Huh?! Teacup?! No! Y-You haven’t heard of a pinky promise either?!” Idia slapped his forehead, eyes wide. “You really are from a whole other world…h-here.” Idia motioned with his two hands, locking his own pinkies together. “It means that you swear you won’t break your promise, n-no matter what.” He let go and held his little finger out once more. “Okay..?”
Malleus nodded, bringing up his hand and wrapping his pinky finger around Idia’s firmly. “I promise.”
When Malleus left, that was the last time Idia saw him for a long time. He had no reason to call for him, he was against the marriage from the beginning. But as fate had it, they ended up attending Night Raven College together, though in different classes. Naturally, they stumbled across each other more than once, but Malleus always kept his promise from back then.
Idia still remembered the night of the 3rd year introduction ceremony, the year he was going to be a dorm manager for Ignihyde. Malleus recognized him just from his voice when he was anxiously traveling to the event for Ortho. This powerful prince everyone had been whispering about, the guy who he was secretly wedded to, an SSR character speaking to him so casually then upsetting him worse than he already was that night…what a perfect reunion! Not. But…attending the ceremony with his tablet and realizing Malleus wasn’t there despite being a dorm leader…and realizing he was in his school uniform when they bumped into each other…AND Idia’s habit of internalizing dialogue between him and others…perhaps it was a misunderstanding…??
I mean…Malleus didn’t know what a pinky promise was when they were young teens…was he really still so clueless to not even notice the extremely important school ceremony going on???? Ugh—that even made it even more embarrassing! The emotions that were already fried from anxiety exploded onto Malleus from that misunderstanding…!!
But despite that, Idia retained that general comfortableness towards Malleus and Malleus never crossed over the line of being friendly. He did still make him anxious sometimes, but it was nothing Malleus did himself…it was mostly his own social anxiety he grew to have. He hated being in the outside world…however…
Going out of his way to help the fae get a new tomogachi as a friend of his original….receiving a gift from Malleus for his birthday, just like he did every year…working up the courage to directly wish Malleus a ‘Happy Birthday’ in person for the first time, to which Malleus cheekily forced him to repeat himself…! Fae have mad good hearing, he definitely heard him the first time!! Jeez…and that’s just barely brushing the surface of the little moments they shared together, it was maddening!! There was…definitely something changing, whether Idia liked it or not. He was softening, and maybe even falling a bit, for Malleus. So he tried to push away these possibly growing feelings for him as much as he could. They were insignificant, useless, he didn’t need or deserve them. But the impending altercation with S.T.Y.X. and the school would be the start of his resolve starting to crumble.
Now, he was back at headquarters at the request of his parents…with Malleus following behind him. Closely. It was almost like dejavu.
“This brings a lot of memories, doesn’t it, Shroud? But do you not think it is time to listen to me?” His long legs easily kept up with him. “This plan of yours is not the way to go about this. I’ve heard everything and I intend to keep quiet as much as possible, but…”
Idia did his best to ignore him as he typed away on his wireless keyboard. The consistent overblotting at the school wasn’t an accident, it was way too common. Even if they were his classmates…he needed to figure out why. Those guys all got better after all, but were there any lasting effects? They might finally be at a breakthrough! “I have to do this, didn’t you say you w-wouldn’t bother me? You’re not even involved, s-so it’s none of your business.”
“I am involved, I am actually as involved as you are. Did you forget that we are betrothed? I need you to have caution. You will be dealing with magicians after all, I know they are still students, but…I’m worried for you. It is not like they can’t cause harm if they decide to…”
Betrothed…that hit a nerve. “I don’t need warnings, nothing will happen. Our armor is enough.” He spoke again with a bitterness in his tone. “Your future ‘cheat code’ won’t be harmed, s-so leave it.” Idia sped into his room, purposely closing the door so Malleus couldn’t come in. A speaker outside scratchily spoke the words: “Dialogue over. You can go back to school now.”
Malleus stood in front of the metal door and huffed. Did he really think that would stop him? Slowly beginning to lose his patience, he used his magic to teleport into Idia’s room. “I apologize for the intrusion, but this is a special circumstance.”
Idia froze. Shit, he forgot he could do that. Without once glancing at the prince, the flame-haired man quickly went to the standing desk in his room and opened up floating programs, occasionally swiping them away to bring in new ones as he typed. “I…I-I’m busy M-Mr.Malleus.” He could feel the fae’s eyes on his back, this could be bad. “I’ll ask you a-again to leave…o-otherwise I’ll u-use f-f-force…”
“Hm.” Ignoring the empty threats, Malleus approached Idia from behind quietly. “….that uniform of yours, it’s the same style when we first met…you’re much bigger now though.” He hummed. “A lot has changed since then. But you’re still stubborn, Shroud.”
Hearing the man right behind him made him straighten up. “S-So what…? You’re just as s-stubborn!” He spoke quietly, but with conviction. “Whatever happens, you’ll still have the secrets of the Isle of Lamentation in the end. You…Y-You have nothing to worry about…!”
Malleus furrowed his brows. “You’re really testing me, Shroud.” Idia swallowed when two arms suddenly rested on either side of him. “Do you really believe I give a damn about the Isle of Lamentation with no Shroud? You may assume that I am just worried about you from a political perspective, but that is not fact.”
The rich, powerful voice whispering close made the other man shiver slightly. Malleus had never been this near before..and cursing was so OOC of him. “A-And…? Wh…Why are y-you telling m-m-me t-this…?”
The fae prince chuckled a bit. “I am not blind, your heart…you kept it open all this time, did you not? Whether knowingly or by accident…you began to seek me out yourself…then shied away…right?” He leaned forward, his chest barely touching Idia’s upper back as he whispered softly against his ear. “Are you afraid? Do you finally feel something….?”
Idia didn’t respond at first, but he paused his typing. “I…I have no i-idea wh..what you’re talking about. I h-h-have work..t-to d-d-do…” He was practically whimpering in response, but he couldn’t bring himself to push Malleus away. This closeness, he loathed to admit that he…maybe sort of… liked it? But..even still…!! “…y..you don’t even…like me yourself. A-After all this time, y-you…t-there’s no way you f-f-feel something f-for me..! I k-know it..!! Someone with a p-pretty face like yours c-can marry as many p-people as you like at your l-leisure after all!!”
A low growl seemed to bubble in Malleus’ throat. “There you are again, assuming how I feel…” Suddenly, Idia was flipped around, his mid-back being pressed right against the desk’s edge as the raven-haired man towered over him. There was hardly a gap between them. “Do you know what it means for a fae to be married?”
Idia was gazing up into Malleus’ intense stare, all he could manage was a slight shake of the head.
“Partners to-be-married to fae, they are life partners to us. Once they disappear, the fae will have a hole in their heart. They can never love romantically again, those feelings are bound to one soul only. Back then, I fell in love with you almost at first sight. While you were laughing at my ignorance, I couldn’t feel anything but affection in your smile. The want to explore and learn every inch of your being, everything about you entranced me automatically…I was relieved from that.” Malleus closed the gap between their two bodies. “It’s still like that now. It hasn’t changed. I will marry Idia Shroud, but I also won’t force him to love me back. That is what I thought, as painful as that is. I thought I’d be content with just being beside you in public, even if it was just for show. I've been honoring our promise since then…no matter how much I wanted to see you.”
Idia felt warm drips against his skin, tears not of his own were sliding down his cheeks. “You understand now, do you not? You are allowed to not want to be beside me, but my feelings are not so fickle as a way to gain power. I care for none of that. But I do expect for you to be safe at the very least, it’s what I desire above all.”
“M…Mr…Malleus….” He had no idea what to say, he hadn’t expected such a confession. “I…I’m…ugh…how l-lame of me…” He suddenly pressed his forehead against the other's shoulder. The tips of his hair were slowly gaining a pink hue. “S…Such a pa-passionate confession…how could I n-not be moved…?” This was scary…he really did feel swayed…this and thinking about everything else between them..there was an overwhelming feeling in his chest.
He mumbled against him, the pink in his hair intensifying. “To be honest, you’ve…been l-like a v-virus in my head f-for a long time, I couldn’t scrub you o-out. It’s like a c-cliffhanger in a really g-good comic…I couldn’t s-stop thinking a-about you…” He slowly lifted his head, but didn’t have the courage to look at Malleus in the face. “I tried to avoid i-it, but Mr.Malleus has really made me w-weird…a thing I d-didn’t think was p-possible... Almost like you have a-all the control of the ‘feel-good chemicals’ in m-my brain, o..of course my f-feelings h-have been affected as well…” Idia’s whole face was burning, he gripped the front of Malleus’ dorm uniform as he bit his lip. His heart felt like it was going to beat out of his chest!!! “All the time we’ve spent together…I..I really tried to deflect the meaning, but I don’t know what to think now! I can’t even a-admit it…!”
“S..Shroud…” Before Idia could realize, Malleus pulled him up for a kiss. The sudden action was met with a gasp, which Malleus took advantage of to explore Idia’s cavern. He was delicious, but perhaps the feeling was intensified by the years of longing the fae had endured.
“H-Hah, wait…!” Idia had managed to pull away from the kiss. “A-Ah…! I-Isn’t th-this too sudden…?!” He whimpered at Malleus who, when told to wait, started to kiss down Idia’s jaw in the meantime. “C-Calm d-d-down..!”
“I’ve held myself back for so many years…is an intense reaction such as this to someone who you have been in love with for so long not expected?” He pulled away and looked into Idia’s amber eyes, they were so beautiful. “I’m so happy, Idia. I can tell your heart is beating too…but can you tell that mine is…?” He pulled his pale palm against his chest, his heart, indeed, was beating just as quickly as Idia’s.
“A…A…..aa….a..—” Idia started, staring up at Malleus with wide eyes, his face was completely red. To match, the entirety of his hair suddenly burned pink. “…AGH!! I c-can’t…I can’t do this…!! That line..!! The mood…the mood is too much…!!” He suddenly was a mess, quickly jerking his hand away and turning towards his desk, anywhere to not look at who was causing this unexpected tilt in his heart. “G-Getting me l-like this…it’s unfair..! Ah, I’m gonna be destroyed into nothing at this rate…! This super secret route in m-my life wasn’t meant to trigger…!! I knew Mr.Malleus was an SSR long ago, b-but who knew h-h-he was my future f-final boss too..?!” He laid his head on his desk into the cushioning of his arms. “D…Don’t you h-have a shred of m-mercy in you…?”
“…Idia Shroud…~” Malleus didn’t understand the bulk of what he said, but by piecing all the context clues he had a pretty good idea what it meant. He slowly pressed his gloved hands on Idia’s back, rubbing downwards. The want to explore Idia more intimately buzzed in his brain, to love on him and figure out what felt good. To be the only one to know…it would be more than an honor, but a blessing. “Is…Is it alright if I touch you…if it’s too quickly…I understand but…” The fae stopped rubbing when he met his hips and slowly hugged his arms around him, nuzzling into his shoulder. “I want to give you even more affection…if I’m allowed.”
Idia was trembling, this guy had defeated him. He wearily raised his head. “D-Do whatever you want…” He was already completely swept up in the atmosphere, resisting was futile. “I…I’ll just…continue my r-research…if you don’t mind…” It was really an excuse to distract himself from embarrassment and to not focus on the current situation too hard, otherwise his mind would probably be turned into mush again.
“I do not.” Malleus spoke lowly, bringing the hands around him upwards to rub up his chest through his coat. “Though I’m not sure doing this will be the most productive way to research…tell me if anything is too much…” He kissed the shell of Idia’s flushed ear before pulling one of his long gloves off with his teeth.
Sssswsh. Idia was hyper-aware of a glove being removed. His heart was already starting up again, so he quickly started to put his brain to work instead. Though when he felt two nimble, firm hands running their course along his body…it was already adding quite the bit of difficulty on his ability to focus. He wasn’t going to give up though. Not that easily.
Malleus ran his fingers along Idia’s sides slowly, some loose fabric bunching above his fingers as it was pressed flush against his lover’s skin. He crept up to the front of the coat, fitting his long digits through the button gaps to touch underneath….but to his surprise there was…more fabric? “Oh…? How interesting..~” He snuck his hands to where he could get under the coat and directly to the tight-fitting garment on the other’s torso. “You’re wearing something like this under here, Idia?” The prince chuckled quietly, brushing over one of his nipples. “I always see you in more loose, comfortable clothes…I would never have imagined something like this.”
Idia was typing quickly at his keyboard, flinching as fingertips started to tease his chest. “I-It’s a b-b-bodysuit…it adsorbs magic…that’s the only reason I…I wear it….it’s required here…” He spoke as level as he could, smashing the enter key on his keyboard as he just finished one report.
“Mmm, then it must be effective, I’m sure.” The raven-haired fae was curious about something though, slowly he started to build electricity in the tips of his fingers and pressed directly against the suit.
The other male was starting to feel an odd sensation where Malleus was touching him. “H-Hey…that tingles…what are you doin—hIE!!” Idia yelped when Malleus moved his fingers over a nipple.
“Oya? Did you feel that?” He questioned, pressing his fingers against both his nipples and experimentally pulsing his electric magic again.
“H-Hi—!” He covered his mouth with one hand, scrunching his brows. This suit was meant to absorb magic…but it didn’t absorb the aftershock?! It’s not like it hurt… and this most likely wouldn’t happen in normal circumstances …but it could be something to be built upon.
Taking his reaction as a positive, he slowly circled around the, now hardened, nubs, varying the intensity of the shock, but making sure not to overdo it just in case. The vast majority didn’t have magic like him after all. “You…seem to be feeling good, Idia.” He whispered against his ear, resting his chin on Idia’s shoulder.
Idia was biting the bodysuit covering his hand, weakly typing with his other. He could still focus. “Th..Thank yOU—EEP!” He cried out when a particularly large shock came, gripping his desk with both hands. “I…I now h-haaa…have something to b-bring up for i…improvement l-later..!”
The fae pouted, he did say he wouldn’t mind if Idia continued to research…but he didn’t like the utter lack of acknowledgement towards himself. ….Maybe he should completely break his concentration on purpose somehow?
With that in mind, the taller grabbed the hem of his long coat and pushed it over his hips, causing Idia to lean forward on his desk. “M…Malleus…? What…What are you…?” He started, but his voice caught in his throat when his pants were pulled down.
“Here too..it really is a ‘bodysuit’…” The raven-haired male rubbed Idia’s hips, tracing his fingers along a line that led to his groin. Flames intensified as Malleus’ wandering hand landed right in-between his legs. “I was not sure at first, but you’re not wearing any undergarments…are you?” He squinted slightly, rubbing him in slight displeasure. “What if someone saw…?”
The breathable fabric of his bodysuit hardly left any distance between Malleus’ fingers and his actual skin, so Idia couldn’t give a proper answer with their current… position . “H…Hhhhn…b-bodysuits…are l-like undergarments t-themselves.” As Idia spoke, fingers made their way further, massaging his perineum gently. “U…Uuuhnnn…th..there’s..ngh…not much d…difference…”
“No…there is,” Malleus pressed his body forward, pushing Idia to lean his torso against his desk. His growing bulge was pressed against him. “What you are wearing leaves no room for imagination.” He gave another shock and a pleasured numbness resonated between the other’s legs.
“HIII—“ The vibrations traveling to his most sensitive areas would have made Idia stumble if it wasn’t for his desk. Malleus didn’t seem to let up this time, causing him to squeeze his thighs together in an attempt to stop the sweet sensation. The massaging, the vibrations, everything—it was too much! “M-Malle—Malleus!! Hah—!!” He gripped at the arm touching him so indecently with both hands, forehead against the rounded edge of his desk as he looked down. “N-No…Nooooo, mhn—hah..!”
And then it went away, Malleus fully pulling his hand free from his legs. “This is exactly what I was referring to.” The fae stated coolly, looking over Idia’s shoulder. “The state of this,” He ran a finger from base to tip of Idia’s, now hardened, shaft. “…I can see everything.” He wrapped black nailed fingers around him, teasing the head with his thumb before giving another shock.
“HIIIE!!” He jolted upright, clamoring his upper body onto the cool desk to keep from falling over. His programs now long forgotten. “A..Aren’t you being too mean…is t-this what you call a-a-affection?!” He glared tearfully back at Malleus who looked surprised.
“Hm…I suppose I got a little too rough, didn’t I…? But you are feeling good, are you not?” He hummed, straightening up and looking at the state of his fiancé. He was fully leaning on the desk…pants were pooled around his boots, the bodysuit tightly clung onto his long legs, small waist, and cute bottom, and his long coat was a bunched up mess around his upper-half. The halfhearted glare he was currently receiving was the cherry on top. Adorable. “I apologize, I have not even had the opportunity to touch you directly this whole time…how do you slip this off…?” As he spoke, he ran his fingers along Idia’s inviting backside currently stuck out to him. “I’d like to touch you here…”
With a small groan followed by a grumble, Idia slowly looked at one of his wrists, typed a few digits on a holographic pad that came up, and the bodysuit peeled away, only leaving both gloves behind. “U…Ugh, cold…” He quickly covered his face with a hand and tried to not act affected…but he was now properly naked…in front of Malleus…in an embarrassing position to boot… he was going to have a heart attack. Though it didn’t matter much, his hair would betray his true feelings anyway.
Malleus purred lowly. “How lovely..” He ran his fingers gingerly over Idia’s hip bones and bottom, spreading him open in an almost curious manner. At the same time, he gently started to wash magic over their bodies, cleansing both of them of any worldly impurities they may have held. He kneeled down, kissing on the soft skin of Idia’s bum tenderly. He bit one of his cheeks, leaving a purposeful mark, before bringing his attention back to what was in-between. “Idia, may I touch you here…?”
Idia was gritting his teeth in embarrassment, now Malleus was knelt right in front of his ass. He could feel his breath ghosting over places no one else had seen…!! “D..D-D..D-Didn’t I s-say d-d-do wha-whatever y-you w..w-want..?” He whimpered, damn…he didn’t have the mastery level to keep his voice steady in this sort of situation…!
Malleus smiled at Idia’s sheepishness and leaned forward, running his tongue across his entrance and letting it slip down towards his taint and back up.
Idia almost squealed from the unexpected action, he said touch…not lick..!! He squinted his eyes at his monitor, pulling at his hair a bit as the long tongue moved against him perfectly. Oh my god… “S…So good…hnmph..~” He had meant to keep that in his mind, but it slipped out from his lips instead.
The fae chuckled slightly, pressing his face more firmly and lapping more incessantly at him. The way the base of his tongue would rub at him while the tip teased that sensitive part of skin, it was almost enough to make Idia’s knees buckle. In fact they did, as soon as that devilish tongue decided to make its way inside of him instead.
“Malleusssss…” He shuddered as he said his name, gripping his desk hard . “Wh..Wh…Why’re y-you—“ His eyes widened when the forked muscle pressed against that something he had heard about. “TH-THAT’S—Ghn..!!!”
A large smile fell on Malleus’ lips from his find, all of the sudden the light massaging he was doing inside became rapid as he targeted Idia’s prostate. The sudden change in pace caused his lover to almost collapse.
“T…That’s, hiii-aAH—m-my prostate..!!” He moaned sweetly, but inadvertently. He knew his body was sensitive, now especially with someone else touching it, but this was too much! “P-Please wAIT…! Ah—HAH—M-Malleus, Malleus!! D-Don’t…!!” His legs trembled as he held onto the desk like his life depended on it. But before he could sink down, Malleus gripped him by the thighs and held him up, setting his knees onto his legs as he continued his, quite literal, tongue lashing.
With his lover at his mercy, he pumped his tongue into him as if it was one of his dicks. He could feel his hole twitching around the length of him as he rolled the muscle experimentally, coating his insides with his saliva. The slick sound was quite audible with the continuous thrusting, along with the delectable noises Idia was making…it was getting much too claustrophobic in his pants.
The pleasure Idia was receiving was indescribable, the hardness against his stomach, even without being directly touched, was going to explode at any moment. “M-Malleus…keep g-going..! A-Ah, nnnngh, you’re so amazing…g-gonna cum…gonna cum because of—OH, Mr.Malleus..!!! Malle—..g-ghhhhn, f-f-fUCK!” Idia couldn’t help but swear as he busted against his stomach, his cum splattering on the metal wall under his desk. Left shivering from the intensity of his orgasm, he went completely limp, the grip on his desk gone.
When Idia’s hole finally stopped convulsing, he slipped his tongue out slowly with a lick of his lips. “Looks like you quite enjoyed yourself, Idia.” Making this amazing, genius of a man of his become like this under his ministrations…crying out his name and essentially becoming something akin to mush, it was too arousing to bear.
Malleus picked his limp body up, pulled off his boots then pants, and set Idia onto his bed. His bare legs spread sexily across the sheets, Idia’s bleary eyes gazing up at him, the long coat, the single article of clothing he still had on, barely covering his most secret parts. Oh…how he wanted to open him up once more…so they could properly become one with each other..but he would save that for now.
“Please excuse me, but I can not take this any longer.” He moved up the long, robe-like hem of his shirt and unzipped his black pants, two fully erect dicks slipping out. Touching the natural slickness that formed on both of them, Malleus purred seductively. “Look how wet they are because of you, Idia. Are you going to take responsibility for this…?”
Idia bit his lip as he looked at the unfamiliar genitalia, but being a turnoff was the opposite of how he felt about it. In fact, he was intrigued. Slowly, he sat up and crawled his way to Malleus who was standing at the edge of his bed. Ugh…they were so..hot..no..Malleus was hot. “O…Of course I w-will…~” With a shy grin, Idia slowly slipped off his gloves and began to use his hands on both of the members. The lube-like substance made it easy to quickly stroke them with little resistance. Idia was enamored, they were so cool…~ Hihihi~!
The fae prince squinted, green fire slipping from the sides of his lips from excitement. This wasn’t enough. “Why…don’t you try…tasting them..?” Seeing the slightly worried face of Idia, he assured him. “Do not worry, they are more dragon than human…so the skin here is naturally more resilient, you will not hurt me…~”
The firey-haired man swallowed and nodded, he had never done this before, but here it goes. He tested one, giving it a few kitten licks at the head before slipping it into his mouth. Idia watched as the green flames coming from Malleus’ lips increased. Looking into his eyes, his stare was so…intense, but he didn’t break it. Idia bobbed his head slowly as he gazed at him, Malleus was quite large, so it took him a moment to adjust his jaw, but he was able to fit it in pretty nicely, the length though. He stroked what he couldn’t reach with one hand and stroked the other shaft fully with his free hand.
Seeing Idia wrap his pretty, blue lips around him so carefully made the fae prince swell. The visual of just Idia doing this to him, it was almost just enough. He rested his hand on Idia’s feathery hair, petting it gently as he worked his way down his shaft, sucking vigorously. “Mhn, Idia…”
The noise of approval coming from Malleus gave him a boost of confidence, he ran his tongue along the veins as he sucked, alternating his head around to lick other parts of skin and the hardened ridges of Malleus’ shaft. With his other hand he stroked the fae as quickly as he could, he was curious which would fall first… the one in his mouth or the one in his hand.
Malleus gripped Idia’s hair softly, the pink-tipped flames slipping in-between his fingers. “You are doing so…well…” He started to rock his hips into the other’s mouth and in response Idia opened his throat for him as best he could, though Malleus never pushed too deeply.
“Hng…~” Idia closed his eyes, letting Malleus use his mouth as he pleased. It felt so good just…receiving Malleus’ love and giving it back to him. Despite this being his first sexual escapade, he felt like he didn’t have to worry about anything. This power…the suffocating responsibility of S.T.Y.X. and letting someone else take control for the first time like this, something he chose to do for once, he loved it.
“It is…soon…” Malleus whispered, slowly starting to pull away from Idia’s mouth, but he followed, just letting the tip barely slip from his glossy, wet lips.
“Do it…D-Do it h-here…Malleus…” He opened his mouth, sticking out his tongue. He knew how uncharacteristically lewd this was, but he couldn’t help himself. He wanted Malleus, he had rejected and avoided him, unknowingly wounded him with words.
Before Night Raven College, Malleus probably waited for the call that never came for years, waiting on him to ask to spend time with him on his own terms. Someone who would never be able to love again…being willing to let go of the one person they could ever love so selflessly…it unexpectedly filled him with so much warmth, a feeling he hadn’t felt in a long time, a feeling he had given up on …and also guilt…a feeling he was very familiar with…so, he wanted to take every bit of the fae, his partner.
Flames of passion trembled from Malleus’ lips, seeing Idia’s eyes gaze at him with a sweet, but blazing, fire and his cheeks such a soft pink… “Idia…hah..~” He came on Idia’s tongue, Idia licking every drop from him and swallowing. With such an erotic visage, he groaned as his second member came, Idia stroking it to completion. The second round had painted his face with his seed, but Idia didn’t seem to mind as he slowly grinned up at him. “Fuihihihi…seems like Malleus enjoyed himself too..~” He licked his lips, licking some excess clean. “Mhn…it’s somehow… good… ” He suddenly averted his eyes, rubbing his neck shyly. “…I…I w-wonder if it’s b-because it’s Malleus’….well…it d-doesn’t matter since t-that’s the only type I i-i-intend to know in the f-future…”
Malleus flushed and eyes gleamed. He leaned down and hugged Idia close to his body. “H-Hey..you’ll get dirty…!” Idia protested, but of course didn’t push him away.
“Is…Is that t-true…? You d..decided…for sure…?” Malleus’ voice was emotion filled as he held Idia close to him, unwilling to let go.
“Wh…What do you mean? I..I basically spilled my w-whole heart for you e-earlier..!” He sighed, beginning to hug him back...did he HAVE to spell it out for him….? “….y-yeah…this wasn’t..just some teenage hormone-filled fornication…I-I wouldn’t have let you if that were the case…” He spoke calmly, gripping Malleus’ back. “When we graduate…I’ll marry you. No complaints.”
Malleus held him for a long time after that, Idia couldn’t tell if he was crying or not, but he rubbed his back nonetheless. Idia promised Malleus he’d be careful with the upcoming plan regarding S.T.Y.X…and all Malleus could do was believe in him and follow what was discussed…he knew he was strong, in more ways than one. Even if the other didn’t realize it always.
When Malleus finally let go and they both made themselves presentable, together they stood by the mirror door. The blue-haired student now in his usual uniform.
“So…I will be seeing you at school then, Shroud.” He brushed his hand against the other’s affectionately, he knew it’d be awhile until they could be like this again.
“Yeah…see you, Mr.Malleus.” He flashed a sneaky grin at him, it really did feel like they were undercover…like a more badass Romeo and Juliet…how cool~ Hihihi~
They both walked through the mirror, knowing what was to come with S.T.Y.X., or at least having an idea. But even so, they continued their “acquaintanceship” on campus, just as they always had. Their engagement had always been a complete secret after all.
