Keigo gritted his teeth hard enough for them to creak.
A tiny, insignificant part of him regretted not allowing Rumi to accompany him to his home as he was struggling to balance two bags of dirty clothes in one hand and keys in the other. All while, of course, the shitty lights on the hallway of his apartment building were off despite it being late evening. Again.
The lock clicked gently as he successfully twisted the key in the hole. A sigh of relief escaped him when his door opened up with a gentle squeak.
After a couple of weeks of practically no ventilation (because why would Rumi bother with something like that), the air was slightly musty.
He dragged his feet inside and threw the bags next to his shoe cabinet. His hands found the switch and turned the lights off, only to make him frown. The dust layer on the furniture and the mirror behind it and coat stand made him slightly irritated.
However, right now, he didn't have the strength or energy to clean.
Carefully mindful of the healing wound on his side, Hawks bent down into one of his back. He unzipped the side pocket and reached inside. After only a second or two of searching, his fingers wrapped around a small bottle of painkillers he was searching for, as well as his detective badge and gun.
Placing the two latter things on the shoe cabinet and focused at the painkillers.
The blond had gotten two bottles from the doctors, but he was searching for the stronger right now. They made him tired, and if there was one thing he planned to do, it was to knock himself out of it and sleep for the next two days.
Slowly but surely, his feet were taking him to the room further away from the entrance hall, his bedroom. Right when his fingers found the cold door handle, he frowned.
Opposite his bedroom was the door to the small kitchen, which he kept closed most of the time.
It was slightly open.
A frown formed between the two eyebrows, and after a short consideration, Keigo crossed the distance between the door and opened it fully.
As much as he'd love to pretend it didn't affect him and the dropping of the bottle of pills was simply a coincidence, his heart jumped into his throat as his gaze fell on the person sitting at his kitchen table. His whole body jerked backward, and his spine hit the doorframe.
Of course, the recognition settled in the next moment, and he pressed his hand on his chest as if to catch his crazed heart.
All while, Dabi continued to sit in the chair, halfway pulled from the table, dressed in a fancy black suit, the jacket unbuttoned and legs spread leisurely. A smirk is playing on his lips, one gently illuminated by the cigarette he is taking a drag from.
"Fucking hell, Dabi!" Keigo cursed, his startle shifting to immediate irritation. "What are you-No! Never mind! Get out of here!"
Dabi didn't, but Keigo wasn't actually expecting him to. He simply cocked his eyebrows, once, twice in a tease, before taking another drag and blowing the smoke in the air between them.
He'd long ago given up on trying to kick out the mafia member when the man broke into his place. He was also no longer searching for his gun the first thing after he saw the man.
It didn't do them any good to be meeting when it wasn't the illegal business. To be fair, though, hardly anything about Dabi was legal.
"Why, I am only here to see how you're doing, birdie," Dabi announced lightly as he brought the cigarette butt to the ashtray Keigo was keeping on his kitchen table. Even though he himself wasn't a smoker usually. "No need to bitch at me."
Keigo frowned, finally leaning away from the doorway and getting a new footing. "I'm fine, not that it's anything to you. Now get your ass out of here."
"For someone who was so close to biting the dust the other day, you surely are barking a lot," Dabi commented and rose to his feet smoothly.
Keigo didn't step back even though that was his first instinct. Instead, his unimpressed eyes dug into Dabi's, hopefully looking at least slightly intimidating. Although if he was, Dabi didn't show it. On the contrary, the man was grinning even wider than before.
His steps were light on Keigo's flooring but sounded like loud blows in the quiet and dark of the room. The blond could hear his own, slightly ragged breathing as well as Dabi's silky and calm.
Keigo's back hit the doorframe once more when Dabi got within arms reach. The hot breath caressed the blond's nose before they mingled together. His body quivered again when Dabi placed his hands on his hips, gently.
It was a direct contrast to the last time he'd touch him there. Keigo often thought about the bruising grip, the teeth grazing over his neck, skin on skin pressed so tight that Keigo could hardly breathe.
He would never admit it - he was a detective, after all. He couldn't admit he loved when someone like Dabi touched him. Yet, that was the man who had been on his mind when he was lying on the ground of a dirty alley, desperately pressing his hand on the furiously bleeding wound, blood hot between his fingers and raindrops cold on his face.
His thoughts were interrupted by Dabi pressing closer, their foreheads gently touching each other. It was the first human touch, if he didn't count the brief hug with Rumi after he'd woken up that he had in weeks. Ignoring the apparent danger, Keigo leaned forward and closed his eyes.
Dabi hummed softly in faint praise, and his hot hands finally moved, just as tenderly before, under the hem of Keigo's shirt. They slid over the skin with care and briefly stopped when Dabi's digit found the bandages around Keigo's lower abdomen.
The blondheaved, but he didn't move or pull his shirt down.
"Where?" Dabi asked, his voice strangely hoarse.
Keigo still smelled the cigarette in the breath grazing over his cheeks.
After a moment of hesitation, the detective licked his lips and then brought his hands on top of Dabi's, under the shirt, and guided them mindfully more to his right side.
"There," he whispered.
The mafioso crooned, but it sounded like half a growl. Then, he nuzzled closer to Keigo, their lips gently brushing in Dabi's quiet question. "Through and through?"
Involuntarily, Keigo's throat bobs in a gulp. "Nah. It fragmented inside."
The 'Did a number on me' stays unspoken.
Dabi looked down at him, the turquoise eyes glowing with something powerful and unsated. He gave a short nod before he captured Keigo's lips in a real kiss.
The blond groaned at the smoky taste and hot, rough lips against his own. His body tried to press harder against the man, but the moment he moved, a hiss escaped against the lips.
Immediately, the man pulled away, grinning widely but ceasing to touch Keigo under the shirt. "Someone's way too eager. Are you that horny?"
Despite the words, he checked the wound to see if there'd be any blood seeping through.
"Shut up, you burnt ass," Keigo rumbled and pushed against the other man's shoulder.
Dabi’s head tilted backward, but the smirk was growing on his lips, and Keigo easily recognized the playful spark in his eyes. He opened his mouth to ask what was wrong when Dabi suddenly dropped to his knees. Then finally, the blond understood the shit-eating grin.
Sudden panic rose in his chest - he hadn't masturbated in weeks, and his legs still felt wobbly; this was not a good idea.
However, these thoughts quickly dispersed when Dabi skillfully unbuckled his belt, lowered his pants, and wrapped his big, rough hand around Keigo's cock.
The detective closed his eyes, mouth open in a small o as he tried to put himself together. But how could he when Dabi was taking him apart so well, so knowing of his every inch.
His member was already filling in, half-hard from just the fingers touching him.
"As horny as I thought," Dabi purred, his thumb gently pressing over the tip. Keigo brought his hand to his lips to bite into the skin to keep the needy sounds at bay.
It was no use, though.
Dabi stroked, slow at first, but with the dryness, it felt as agonizing as it felt good. Keigo tried his best not to snap his hips into the hand, but when Dabi bowed closer and wrapped even hotter lips around him, it was a lost fight.
He bit into his lower lip so the pained groan wouldn't escape him when he felt the tug of the stitches and muscles. Still, Dabi didn't miss the motion, who lowered his hands to his hips and pressed them against the wall.
Keigo gasped for air, They barely started, and he could already feel the warmth pooling in his belly. Especially when Dabi sank lower and began to suck. God, how many times had Keigo thought about the wet warmth of his mouth, the pure pleasure Dabi could overwhelm Keigo with using the sinful lips of his.
And he hadn't even started with what Dabi was packing in his pants.
He lolled his head back against the wall and closed his eyes, losing himself in the pleasure Dabi provided with each lick of his tongue, each hollowing of his cheeks. He took him deeper and deeper every time, bobbing his head, and even though it was perfect, it soon wasn't enough.
The fire was settling low in Keigo's belly, but there was no let out. A loud whimper escaped his lips when Dabi lightly brushed his teeth across his length, too aware of how crazy that drove the man in his hands.
"Dabi!" the blond hissed, but it lacked the previous pain.
The turquoise eyes, seemingly glowing, looked up in a strange mixture of light and dark desire.
Keigo's own eyes rolled into the back of his head, and he groaned again when Dabi, finally, took him entirely in. His tip hit the back of Dabi's throat, and Keigo's fingers buried into the black hair as Dabi rolled his tongue over the vein before sucking greedily.
He came with a violent shudder that sent another wave of pain through him, but that only emphasized the pleasure pulsing through him, from him. And Dabi swallowed everything, sucking the soon oversensitive, soft cock eagerly so he wouldn't miss a single drop.
Keigo was once more a whimpering mess, tightening his grip on Dabi's hair but not tugging him away. He let Dabi tease him some more until the man finally took pity on him and released Keigo's cock from his mouth with a soft pop.
For only a moment, the quiet of the dark apartment was filled only by Keigo's rigid breathing. Then, Dabi rose up from his knees, never entirely pulling away from Keigo's body.
For some reason, it was harder to breathe now than it was when he was still high on ecstasy. Especially when Dabi buried his nose into Keigo's neck, inhaling his smell loudly. His hands slowly slid under Keigo's shirt once more, warmer but sending goosebumps across his skin all the same. He dug his fingers into the skin until it hurt again.
"I found him," Dabi growled right below Keigo's ear. "He's held in one of our warehouses at the docks. I got him for you."
The words created a lump in Keigo's throat. He didn't need to ask who. As if in response, the wound in his underbelly throbbed.
The blond knew what he should say. He was a detective, a man of the law. He should tell Dabi that he needed to hand over the suspect, and there should be a fair trial. Except...
Except, there was nothing to build the case on. Keigo didn't even know the name of the man who had shot him, and if he went to a trial with nothing except for his description of the man, he knew that the defense would tear it apart.
However, Dabi didn't work within the boundaries of the law.
It was a horrible idea, but Keigo's hands were already moving from Dabi's hair to cup his head and bring him up. He forgot how to breathe when he gazed into the turquoise, flaming eyes.
It was a bad and unjust idea. But at the same time, Keigo knew that he wouldn't be getting any other form of justice than the one he could take with his own hands.
Even if he'd taken it from Dabi's.
"I wanna kill him."
Dabi grinned widely before he crushed their lips together in a greedy kiss.
