Chapter Text
Dear Unknown Boy,
I met you for the first time today. You led me and the other first-years around showing us the classes. I could see your prefect's badge right on the front of your Gryffindor robes. Your red hair seemed very familiar, almost like I had seen it before. You were relatively well-groomed and absolutely handsome, there is no doubt in my mind that I completely fancy you.
It's very nice here, never seen anything like it. My mum chose to live in the muggle world with my dad when they got married and had me, so I don't know much about Hogwarts. Everything is beautiful and magical though.
I haven't made any friends yet. I suppose it is only the second day, shouldn't be expecting anything this soon. I am kind of used to being alone already. My mum started a bakery a few streets down so she is almost never home. Between dad's full-time job as an accountant and his helping out at the bakery, he has no time for me either.
Maybe we'll become friends unnamed boy, what do you think? I suppose I should go now, shared way too much in a diary for one day.
Yours Truly, Caroline
I closed up my new diary biting my lip anxiously. It was weird to be writing letter to a guy I barely know.
Putting up my quill and parchment, I clambered back into bed shutting my eyes tight. Who cared it was weird, not like he would see them anyways.
