Notes:

I'm back with a new MC fic...I should work on editing Sunflower, but lets be real, I'll get bored sticking to one thing. This way I can switch back and forth :) Anyway, this fic came from my need to indulge myself with some Strong willed omega Tae and Protective alpha Guk. It's my weakness. Sorry, folks. I hope you like the first chapter. In case you didn't read the tags, their relationship is already established. I wrote the beginning of it happening, but it just didn't flow well into future chapters with my plot idea, so I decided to start with them together. There is a few flashbacks here and there, though.

As always, this is a work of fiction. Nothing is real. Obviously. But, just throwing that out there. Also, as with my other fic, this one is all planned out. Some chapters aren't fully written, but it'll get done. Promises!

Chapter Text

“Taehyung, listen to me. For once in your life.”

The voice was critical, setting forth a predicament that was very tangible and yet, the younger of the men chose to ignore it. As he did with all other pursuits to keep him well versed in the circle of duties he was supposed to be inclined to. Thing is, Taehyung only ever found himself utterly indifferent towards the demands of others. He wasn’t one to purposely rebel for the sake of the story or delight in another’s life derailing. Taehyung simply preferred to remain stagnant in the motions of his life. Living out his days in the castle, or rejoicing in the few times he managed to go outside and enjoy the fresh air around him. Now, when he says stagnant, he does not mean to imply that he loves how his life is built up. Far from it, in fact. Taehyung wished for life outside the walls, outside the gates and into the villages and forests that made up their kingdom. It was a fool’s dream, he realized, but it kept his days entertaining enough for him. The part he was rather fond of keeping unchanging, though, was not being so conveniently bonded to some stranger. One who filled their pockets with gold, and other empty promises to turn his father’s head.

“I am listening, Jin.”

“For god’s sake…” Now Jin, Taehyung’s older brother and resident alpha heir to the throne, was the epitome of the perfect son. He may be only three years older, but Taehyung felt that gap as wide as the canyons that lay outside their lands. Or so he believed, the last time he ever set foot outside the gates was when his mother was alive. The only person who was adept at keeping his father’s greed at bay and gave Taehyung the taste for freedom he’d carry on into his adulthood as an omega prince. It was not the standard trait one would see in omegas, but it was one Taehyung prided himself on. His mother, having been one herself, knew the sacrifices their kind made in their world. Taehyung didn’t fancy being someone’s crowned jewel. He much preferred having the option to decline and carry on with his life instead. “Can you at least have the decency and etiquette to refer to me as your hyung?”

Somewhere in the nonchalance of the conversation, in Taehyung’s point of view, he could hear the soft snicker next to Jin. It made him smile as well, knowing how endlessly amused Yoongi, Jin’s personal guard, was at the slight to his elder brother’s penchant for honorifics. “I already told you, hyung,” he stressed the title, not missing the unamused gaze his brother sent his way. “I am listening. It’s just a matter of me not caring for what you have to say.”

“Mother, give me strength.” Jin was gazing out into the large pond that bordered their castle, eyes returning to Taehyung who was sat at the edge of the dock, feet dangling serenely into the water. The omega’s blue robes were curled around his knees, the long ties normally done into a neat manner, hanging carelessly and touching their tips to the water. Jin was aware of how carefree the omega could be, but he also knew how cruel their father could be to the younger. He didn’t want to repeat the same situation over and over again when it came to Taehyung. “Taehyung,” He kneeled down to his younger brother’s level, trying to keep his grimace at bay lest he risk angering the omega further. “Listen, and actually comprehend my words. You can’t keep running your suitors off. One day, you’ll learn to love the one you mate with, and then-”

“I don’t want to learn to love someone, Jin. I want to love them because I choose to.” Taehyung clicked his tongue in offense, turning his defiant gaze back to the pond and watching some birds dare to dip as close to the surface as possible. He suddenly envied their ability to fly. “Now, go away. I was having a peaceful day until you arrived.” He petulantly raised his nose to the air, the familiar scent of sandalwood growing stronger around them. He could tell he was grating on his elder brother’s nerves. “Stop being angry, you’re hurting my nostrils.”

Jin tightened his jaw, keeping the building irritation caged loosely behind his senses. This wasn’t the first time they’ve had this talk, and he was painfully aware it likely wouldn’t be the last. “I am not angry, Taehyung. Believe it or not, I do worry for you. Just listen to me, please. You can’t keep turning suitors away. Father won’t-”

“Like it? Since when does he like anything I do? I’m just his-what did he call it?” Taehyung tapped his chin, turning his gaze towards the lone figure who stood silently by his side near the dock. The guard was his height, but athletic and robust in places Taehyung wasn’t. It was to be expected of an alpha guard, not that Yoongi picked up these traits, but Jin’s guard certainly held the mindset as an alpha. “Jeongguk, do you remember what my father said?” Taehyung held a cheeky glint to his eyes, smiling when he saw the trace of a smirk threatening to erupt on his guard’s face. Professional as ever in the presence of others, Jeongguk held his amusement back and aided his argument.

“His useless omega son, your Highness.”

“That’s right.” Taehyung switched his stare towards his brother, facial expression now withdrawn of emotion. “His useless omega son.” He spat the words out, finding vindication in Jin lowering his gaze. “That would only serve one single purpose and that is to spread my legs for the next alpha who would pay a decent price. Or provide more land...it seems father isn’t too picky in that regard.”

“Taehyung,” Jin sighed, knowing he would never comprehend the struggle his brother went through. Ever since he presented it was easy to find himself his father’s favorite. Stern and cruel as the man was, he kept Jin on a high pedestal, if only for the reason he was the only alpha of the three siblings. Hoseok, the middle child, was a beta, and while beta’s could still inherit the throne, Jin was the eldest. By default it would go to him, and pass over to Hoseok should Jin find himself no mate or heir. An unlikely event, he figured. Taehyung, on the other hand, would be left nothing should he choose to keep this stubbornness up. An omega could never inherit the throne on their own, and while Jin didn’t necessarily agree with that, he couldn’t sit and watch his youngest brother waste away, unmated, for all his life. “Give this suitor a chance, he may be older, but not by much. He seemed kind enough, and he’s already here.”

“I’m not interested.” Taehyung gently kicked a foot into the water, his silver anklet creating a soothing jingle. He watched the soft ripples expand along the clear surface, the koi fish habitating the pond shifting away at the intrusion. “You can tell him to leave.”

“You’ll make this more difficult than it has to be. Listen to me-”

“Because, you always know better, don’t you?” The omega glared his brother’s way, never dropping the heavy stare Jin expressed. Alpha or not, Taehyung refused to falter, even when his inner wolf whimpered at him to do so. He may not be as physically gifted with strength and the burning will to dominate every creature he comes across, but what he lacked in physical prowess he more than made up for in spirit. “No follow up to that?” Taehyung provoked his brother on, finding his silence a welcomed gift to his afternoon. He rarely got to leave his room most days, usually at the behest of his father who was angry at him for one reason or another. Taehyung already knew his defiance today would earn him more time holed up inside. “Didn’t think so.”

“You can’t keep denying every suitor, Taehyung!”

“Can’t I, though?” There was sarcasm in his tone, a small piece of bait to get Jin so riled up he’d leave in a fit of rage. He perched one foot onto the edge of the wooden dock, the other still dangling loosely into the water. He relished the cold of it, found it somehow comforting when the stuffy heat of the castle became too much to bear.

“And just who will take care of you? I’ll be mated someday, Hoseok will probably be as well, and then what is your wish? To live and die behind these stone walls?”

“Preferably not…” Taehyung dismissed the thought, pretending that future didn’t exist for him. He knew it was a long shot to escape, but he had dreams of a life somewhere else. A life with someone else.

“I just want to know you’ll be safe, and protected and-”

“I am protected.” Taehyung chanced a glance over to his guard, features unmoving but the spark in his gaze was bright enough for Jin to look over at Jeongguk. The alpha guard was standing at attention just feet away, one hand resting over the hilt of his sword, and eyes attentive to his omega nobleman.

Jin kept staring, boring holes into the guard as he gripped Taehyung’s arm and easily raised him from his perch on the dock. He could see Jeongguk flinch, the guard daring to move forward an inch or two before Yoongi held his wrist and kept him safely back. Jin granted them both a knowing look, one Taehyung didn’t appear to catch as he growled softly up at his older brother.

“Let me go!”
“I am just trying to help you, Taehyung.”

“I never asked for your help.” Taehyung wrenched his arm free, turning away. “Nor do I want it.”

Jin produced a disheartened sigh, officially giving up this lost cause and hoping beyond reason that one day his little brother would come to his senses. “Do what you will, Taehyung. But, do not be surprised when father turns his rage on you.”

“Your Highness.” Yoongi interrupted the gathering, bowing at Jin quickly before motioning towards the hill leading up to the castle. “We have company.”

They all turned towards the horizon, seeing a small figure from this distance walking liberally towards them. Taehyung couldn’t scent the person from this distance, but the alphas all seemed to pick up on it already.

“Alpha.” It was Jeongguk who filled him in, moving closer to his omega prince while Jin slumped his shoulders and shook his head. Taehyung merely tucked a silver strand of his hair behind his ear, delicately playing with the few piercings on his lobe. He already knew what would come, and it prompted him to urge his brother away, far from the greeting that would soon take place. He couldn’t risk Jin being around him or another suitor. The alpha prince loved to interfere too much, spitting off compliment after compliment about his little brother, as if the suitors weren’t already taken by his supposed beauty. Taehyung had heard those praises enough in his life, but there was only one pair of lips he yearned to hear them from.

“Leave Jin.” Taehyung rushed, dusting off his robe before settling back down onto the dock. This suitor was going to be like all the rest, easy to manipulate and easy to be rid of. If there was one thing Taehyung loved about royal alphas, it was their incessant need to breed with every omega they laid eyes on. It made them terribly weak, and he often took advantage of that. A simple bat of his eyelashes, deep honeyed voice and gratitude for their eventual gift they bestowed him with was all it ever took. Then it led to a dinner, an event always pushed by his father for the omega to spend time with his new suitor. That’s when Taehyung knew he’d have the alpha gone. They were so predictable, always attempting to touch him and find that action ended by the rough grip around them, courtesy of his personal guard. His eyes drifted quickly to Jeongguk, his body automatically shifting closer as the alpha suitor grew near. “I said leave, Jin.”

The older brother sighed heavily, giving the omega one last look before heading up the embankment with Yoongi in tow. They passed by the stranger, Jin giving a courteous bow that the man returned before he sauntered his way towards his wanted prize. “Your highness.” The man was fairly tall, slim, but built as these suitors usually were. Taehyung would even dare to call the man handsome, but he could see past those pretty features and into the domineering attitude that lay beneath. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you face to face.”

Taehyung gave a small nod, bowing his head slightly before training his gaze towards the man. He could see the offense he took at the less than dignified gesture of greeting, but as always, Taehyung could see he was more preoccupied by hungrily studying his body. The scent of subtle arousal flared into his senses, making the omega cringe back gently and into the chest of Jeongguk. He rather preferred this distance between them, and caved to his comfort and let the other alpha continue swooning. He already knew should the stranger touch, he’d be stopped immediately. “I’m afraid I don’t know your name.” Taehyung sensed the arousal sour marginally, signaling the insult was picked up by his suitor.

“Hyunwoo, your Highness.”

“Hyunwoo.” Taehyung repeated lazily, testing the name on his tongue and finding he hated it all the more. He couldn’t wait to be rid of him, couldn’t wait to be rid of all the people who decided today to bother his peace. Acting was an easy mask for Taehyung to put on, but he held a proclivity for the more honest moments in his life, and those only happened beyond the closed doors of his bedroom. “Then it is nice to meet you, Hyunwoo.”

Hyunwood smiled warmly, but Taehyung wasn’t naive enough to believe its intent. He could already see that hand stretching out, fingers brushing his knuckles as he moved to kiss the back of his hand. The omega had to fight back the low growl in his throat, hating the touch of others when he never asked for it, but he was already aware of Jeongguk moving in front of him, and taking care of this business on his behalf.

“Excuse me, who do you think-” Hyunwoo’s wrist was caught in a tight grip, Jeongguk glaring over at the royal alpha and tempering his warning tone.

“It is customary to not place your hands on the omega prince. King’s orders.”

Taehyung bit his lip to hide the smile he felt, eyes carefully watching his personal guard with an affectionate wonder. Now those words took him back, and he could still recall every detail of that day. Down to the scent of the fire burning in his chamber’s hearth on a cold night.

*

“You know,” The omega prince was lounged on the floor of his chambers, bordered by numerous decorative pillows and warm blankets his manservant had laid out for him. He felt safe within these walls, his own getaway from the duties forced upon him, but he usually kept little company in his room. Save for his manservant, Jimin, or middle brother, Hoseok. “Personal guards usually stay posted outside their prince’s doors.” Taehyung tore his gaze from the fire, fingers tapping on his smooth cheek that was rested against his palm. “So, is there a reason you insist on bothering me with your presence?”

“I’m sworn to protect you, your Highness.” Jeongguk was standing just a foot away, eyes lingering on the logs burning before meeting Taehyung’s stare. There was a hint of teasing in his gaze, and it irked the prince to no end how someone beneath him in status could boldly do so.

“Do I look in danger to you?” Taehyung sat up, spreading out his legs like he normally did to sit comfortably. It caused the slits of his robe to flitter down, revealing his tanned skin to the eyes of the guard, who clearly held no shame in staring. “You know, Jeongguk…” Taehyung figured he could have some fun with him. The guard had been assigned to him for a month now, and Taehyung, while sporting a deep loathing towards alphas in general, was rather fond of this one. If only because he had the nerve to last as long at his side than most guards assigned to his post did. “I see the way you look at me.”

“And how is that, your Highness.” Jeongguk’s face remained stoic, but Taehyung had observed him long enough to see how amused he was now.

“Like most alphas do.” Taehyung responded, inching his legs further apart and smirking when those deep eyes followed his movements. “Your scent, it’s peaking.” Arousal. Taehyung knew that one, too. Jeongguk, however, surprisingly held a comforting one, something like cedarwood and berries. Subtle at best, but overpowering right now. Taehyung had to give the alpha credit, a month in and he hadn’t dared to break his duty in favor of attempting to woo his prince. Other guards usually had by now, if Taehyung hadn’t driven them mad with his rebellious nature, that is. He’d be lying if he said he wasn’t the slightest bit disappointed. He could tell how attracted Jeongguk was to him, and maybe Taehyung found it mutual. But, he never shared his body with anyone, preferring to deny every suitor and guard that braved his heart. Not for purity purposes, he didn’t see the point, simply because he never believed anyone worthy enough to touch him. Least of all the idiots his father sent his way. “You want me, don’t you?”

Jeongguk’s gaze sidled over to him, his irises flickering a rich red, so subtle Taehyung nearly missed it. He expected the guard to deny it, cheeky as he could be with him, but to his surprise Jeongguk just agreed. “Yes.”

It left the prince blushing, a feeling he wasn’t used to in his life. He usually held no shame in stringing others along, finding their pitiful, pining states amusing at best. Most tried to please him, others belittle him-those he hated the most, but Jeongguk...he was different. Since day one he treated Taehyung like an equal, albeit with sarcasm and quick wit most didn’t dare to address their royals with. “You-” The prince swallowed, saving his pride and looking away at the fire. “I could have you killed for that. What would the King think if he found out his omega son was defiled by some lowly guard?”

He heard the guard scoff, footsteps growing close until he found Jeongguk kneeling next to him. It made him stiffen in surprise, hand coming out to brace himself on Jeongguk’s chest. “What are you doing?”

“Forgive me, your Highness, but,” Jeongguk leaned forward, lips settled by his ear and whispering softly. “I see the way you look at me, as well.” Taehyung made to retort, but he found his lips covered in an instant, the sensation of a warm pout pressed delicately against him. He held back his gasp, fingertips curling into the smooth armor of the guard. It didn’t last long, but it left the omega breathless nonetheless.

Jeongguk pulled away, leaving but an inch between their faces, a small smile playing on his features while he stroked Taehyung’s cheek in an odd form of affection the omega wasn’t used to.

“It is customary to not place your hands on the omega prince…” Taehyung whispered the law between them, eyes traversing the strong jaw and plush lips of the alpha. “King’s orders.”

“I’ll take my chances.”

*

In a strange turn of ordinary events, the royal alpha appeared to acquiesce to that request, albeit with a steady glare towards the guard. “I see.” Taehyung couldn’t help but find the mutual staring contest entertaining, but as much as he adored Jeongguk for protecting him, he didn’t have a wish to see his cherished guard behind dungeon gates for the offense his actions brought a higher up. So, he placed a calming hand over Jeongguk’s shoulder, squeezing softly to placate his raised nerves and settle this suitor before it grew tiresome for them all.

“If you’ll just excuse me, I’m tired, Hyunwoo. I’m going to retire to my-”

“Before you run off, Highness.” Hyunwoo fixed his gaze to Jeongguk, still feeling the defensive aura the guard was putting off in his scent. Taehyung could hear the low growl rumbling in both their chests, and he managed to place himself in front of Jeongguk to swing attention back onto him. It earned him Hyunwoo’s softening gaze, the older prince smiling ecstatically. “You’ll join me for dinner.” And as if expecting Taehyung to deny him, he quickly added, “Your father has already granted me your company for the night.”

Those are the words that never fail to vex the omega prince. He was painfully aware of how the world would view his status, painfully aware how his existence could be given a value, and yet he always refused to accept it. “My father-”

“We’ll be there.” Jeongguk interfered with the offer, seeing where Taehyung’s rising bad blood would get him. He adored the prince for his resilience, but he was too often a witness to the King’s wrath to stand back and let Taehyung end up victim to it again. Perhaps, it was the only reason Taehyung didn’t argue with him, even if a deadly glare was being sent his way. “Give the prince some time to rest, and I’ll escort him to your guest room for dinner.”
Hyunwoo hummed, unsure of the guard for a moment before he relented and bowed to Taehyung. “I look forward to it.”

They both watched as Hyunwoo walked up the bank, never giving them a second glance. Once his frame disappeared into the gardens, Taehyung turned to his guard, brows furrowed in slight irritation at being forced into the invitation. “Why would you agree?” He brushed passed the alpha, shoulders brushing for the sake of contact alone. “I don’t want to sit with another arrogant alpha and be told how to be a good little omega consort.” Taehyung was aware he was pouting, but the thought of listening to another tirade of hierarchy foundations and mating rituals drove him near mad with anger. “I get that enough from my father.”

Jeongguk observed the perimeter around them, not picking up many scents beyond those of gardeners and servants. He made clear to be alone before breaking his duties and addressing a royal with as much tenderness that he did with Taehyung. “Tae, it’s better this way.” He gently gripped his prince’s forearm, getting him to meet his gaze before nudging their foreheads together in needed affection. “We’ll be rid of him. You’ll be rid of him. You always are…”

The words lingered between them, and they appeared to pacify the omega just enough to earn a smile. “I suppose you’re right. Would be nice to have a break from them all, though. Lately, it’s just been one after the other. I feel as if I can’t breathe sometimes.” Taehyung wished he could lean forward and close that small gap in their lips, but even he held his wits about him. This was too open, too dangerous and he willed himself to pull away from the tempting heat. “You don’t get tired of it, Gukkie?” He could sense the tension build, noting the red coloration of his guard’s eyes at the mention of his own thoughts on the matter. It made Taehyung giddy, even if he didn’t rely on teasing or jealousy to provoke his chosen lover, he still occasionally loved to see Jeongguk get riled up at his expense. “Tired of all these other alphas wanting me?”

“Of course, I do.” Jeongguk easily admitted, clenching his jaw and appraising the omega with blatant interest. “I want you for myself. I’ll always want you for myself.”

Taehyung dared to inch closer, fingertips tracing the ornate lines in the leather of the guard’s thin armor. He rather savored the view of his alpha in that piece, it made him look regal, so strong and handsome it left Taehyung wanting him all the more. “And you’re mine, aren’t you?” Mated, they were not, nor could they ever be in this reality. Taehyung hated the idea of letting this affair rage on into forever, because he desperately wanted proof of how dear their bond was to one another. His heart beats for Jeongguk, and he never doubted the feeling being mutual, but he longed for things his station in life would never allow him.

“Only yours.” Jeongguk raised his hand, gracing the slender knuckles of the omega with his touch as curious hands wandered his chest. They’ve been doing this long enough to know how risky certain actions were in the eye of the public, but even then they could not always rein themselves in enough to worry. The longer this carried on, the harder it was to keep hands to themselves, to keep lips sealed from spewing endearments. Jeongguk loathed doing so, but for Taehyung he would hide forever if it meant they could have each other.

“You know,” Taehyung’s tone was serious, underlying sweetness making the alpha preen inwardly. “I thought you were going to tear his throat out when he tried to touch me.” The omega held a scolding expression, but Jeongguk knew him well enough to decipher the fondness he was warmed with. “My big bad alpha guard, so protective.” He was teasing, but it incensed the alpha’s passion all the same.

“Believe me, Tae. I wanted to.” He brushed some silver strands from the omega’s forehead, fingers stubbornly hovering over beautiful features, the need to touch growing. But, Jeongguk sighed out his frustration, trying to ignore the disappointment in his lover’s eyes. “You should start preparing for dinner in a few hours, until then, you should rest. You’re just recovering from your last heat.”

“I’m perfectly fine, Jeongguk. You just worry too much.” Taehyung dismissed his words, reluctantly tearing himself a safe distance away from his guard in case of prying eyes. He began moving towards the gardens, Jeongguk in tow as they headed back to his chambers. The trek wasn’t short by any means, but it was a comfortable silence airing between them, and Taehyung was content with having this peace prior to enduring another dinner with a man he wished would leave. He was mindful of his father’s manipulations, and in the past month he had received numerous invites to be a guest at other kingdoms for the sake of courtship. He denied every single one, and to his surprise the King actually agreed. Not for the same burgeoning reasons as Taehyung, simply because he liked control and keeping the courtships within his castle walls gave him an advantage over the dowry he expected. Taehyung condemned his plans regardless, but he would take the victory for the sake of not being sent away.

“I’ll be outside, your Highness.” Jeongguk stopped just at the chamber doors, turning to stand at his usual post outside, until Taehyung zealously gripped his wrist.

“No. Come inside.”

“Highness-”

Taehyung shook his head, already undoing the silk belt of his robe and giving that inviting grin Jeongguk always fell victim to. “Everyone is busy now, Jimin is in the kitchens most likely, and my brothers are off doing whatever studies they do at this time.” He pulled ardently now, rushing his lover inside and knowing Jeongguk would follow. “Want you.”

“Highness-” It came out in the drip of a low growl, warning but needy and Taehyung couldn’t help the laugh he let out. “You’ll smell like me.”

“I’ll bathe after. No one will know.”
Jeongguk watched those seductive lips, feeling the jump of a pulse within the fingertips clutching his wrist. He didn’t understand why he always fought the temptation, it was always there, and he’d be equally willing to risk it all just to taste the omega again. “Is that an order?”

Taehyung grinned wickedly, easily pulling his guard into the doors. “Always.”

It only took that second between the door closing and hands on a slim waist, for Taehyung to sigh happily. He could feel strong palms reining him in, their chests pressed flat together and too many articles of clothing in the way. He wanted more, wanted that familiar sense of intimacy to radiate through them and remind him how much he adored this. Before Jeongguk was assigned to him, his days were monotonous, and Taehyung found terrorizing his prior guards by escaping them or ignoring them completely was the only excitement he could get in life. Now he felt truly alive most days, so insanely in love with his alpha, even if it was by name alone, that he felt he could withstand the tortures others put him through. “Touch me.”

“Anything you want, Tae.” Jeongguk caressed the supple skin of his lover’s cheek, kissing the tip of his nose and above his eyelids for the sake of having that affection warm in his heart. He adored the omega, and in these moments he nearly forgot how hopeless their cause would be in the end. Thoughts for another time, he assessed. So, he led them towards the four post bed, lifting his omega and gently laying him flat as he slipped the robe from his shoulders, admiring the prominent collarbones that begged to be marked. Jeongguk had become proficient at claiming Taehyung in so many ways, but the desire to lay a permanent mark would endure. Until then, he satisfied himself by sucking softly at the skin of his neck and shoulder, giving enough pleasured pressure to release blissful moans from his lover but not harsh enough to keep the marks at attention for more than a day. “You’re too tempting for your own good.”

Taehyung hummed eagerly at those words, writhing on the bed and giving the fabric of his robe enough movement to slip away from his torso. It revealed his sun kissed complexion, making Jeongguk forgo his path of tame hickeys on his shoulder and now kissing a wet trail down his sternum, over his navel and towards the area that required more attention. “No teasing…” Taehyung sighed, biting his lip when he felt the tip of a warm tongue lick over his hip bone. The saliva left a cool spot, a delicious contrast to the heat of his flesh that urged the other for more. “Jeongguk.”

“Shh, my love.” Jeongguk soothed his impatience, palms massaging the tops of Taehyung’s thighs before spreading them. He gave himself more room, lips sweeping over the dips of his inner thighs and ghosting his hot breath above Taehyung’s erection. He watched intently as the prince arched his back, fingers curling into expensive sheets and pulling when his breath play became too much. Jeongguk wanted to taste him, to suck him down and hear his lover whine and moan for him, but he adored seeing the other like this. Reduced to a puddle of eager noises and writhing limbs. “You’re beautiful, Tae. So beautiful.”

“Enough praises, just-fuck!” Taehyung mewled loudly, immediately covering his own mouth to warn away nosy ears. He felt warmth engulf his length, a hot tongue expertly gliding on the underside of his cock, tracing the vein that ran along it. It hadn’t been too long since they laid with each other, but every time felt like the first to him, making him burn with the want of more. He couldn’t control that within him, and even if it was safer not to pursue this venture, he still did. It was his happiness. Jeongguk was his happiness. “Guk, I...mmm..” He muffled his own moans with his wrist, biting on the flesh and rutting his hips up to feel more of that pleasure his lover spoiled him with. Jeongguk’s lips slid over his entire cock, cheeks hollowing on the right areas and giving a hungry pressure that left the omega groaning deeply.

The guard sucked earnestly, palms still kneading the meaty flesh of his lover’s thighs as he bobbed his head up and down. Jeongguk was aware they didn’t have too much time, and while he wished for nothing more than to take his omega over and over again, he would settle for giving him this. A moment of bliss before they had to go back to being just royal and guard.

“C-close...so close.” Taehyung bucked his hips up, smiling when he heard the other choke slightly, but Jeongguk took him back all the way in, obscene slurping noises being heard in the grand room. Taehyung could just whine out, tightly grasping at his blankets above his head and arching up as another strong wave of pleasure wracked his lithe frame. “Guk, I’m going to-gods!” He stiffened in his guard’s hold, thighs trembling weakly and cock flushed a pretty soft red as he felt his release. The alpha hummed in approval, swallowing him down and taking every drop he had to offer. He became pliant against the sheets, breath coming out in pants and mingling with Jeongguk’s heavy intakes as he crawled up to him.

“I love you like this, Tae.” Jeongguk nuzzled his neck, sniffing the sweet scent of orchids and a tinge of heightened arousal from his omega. He adored it, could spend forever breathing that scent until he was one with the earth. It always pained him when they had to wash it away. “You smell like me.” The alpha brushed dampened silver locks away, kissing the sensitive area below Taehyung’s ear lobe before falling next to him. He was still painfully hard beneath his clothing, but he was satisfied with giving his omega the release he needed.

“Don’t want to bathe it away, Guk.” Taehyung turned over, curling into the alpha’s side and stroking a hand over his lover’s chest. “I love it too much.” He took pride in their scents mixing together, knowing how close their bond was in the pheromones that took over his room. If prompted, he’d lock his doors and keep it this way forever. “Maybe one day I won’t have to wash it off me.” He smiled to himself, missing the frown Jeongguk was wearing at the moment.

“Maybe.” Jeongguk kissed the top of his head, tenderly nudging his lover up from their comfort in the bed. “Come on now, I should get back, before anyone finds my post empty. And you,” He kissed Taehyung’s cheek, nose pressed into the smooth skin as he lingered there. “You need to start getting ready. Use the oils, it’ll help take my scent off.”

The prince mumbled wistfully, nodding anyway as he watched his lover pry himself away and head for the chamber doors.
