Work Text:
“Are you sure about this Yoongi hyung? You know you can always find a steady job. You’re talented, You know.” Hoseok said.
“Hobi, I know what I’m doing. I’m sure about it. I won’t be doing it if I wasn’t so sure.” Yoongi squeezed Hoseok’s hand, giving him a reassuring smile.
“Well whatever you feel the best.” Hoseok shrugged and leaned back on the couch. “Ah we would be seeing less of each other now.”, He said shaking his head.
“Hobi, it’s not like He does show every day. I’ll still have my current part-time and will just take few days leave during shows.” Yoongi grinned, reaching out to take two chilled beer cans and handing one to Hoseok.
“It’s still not going to be the same hyung.” Hoseok pouted but accepted the beer.
“Hob-ah don’t be like that. C’mon I’ll cuddle you to sleep tonight okay?” Yoongi laughed, slapping his thighs.
“Hyung.” Hoseok laughed along, gulping the entire beer in one go.
Yoongi didn’t cuddle Hoseok that night.
He had cleaned his camera well and kept it in it’s case beside the tickets, tickets for his new job. The excitement and nervousness didn’t let him sleep. He was scared too, scared because he wasn’t sure how it would work out. The shutters of his eyes were open till late, blinking away any trace of sleep in them. There was only one image that kept rolling before his eyes over and over again. The image of a certain someone he had admired and maybe had a tiny little crush on. He won’t admit it too loud but a part him had fell in love with him, with Park Jimin- solo singer, the moment he first heard his voice on the radio.
Yoongi still remembered that night like it happened yesterday He couldn’t sleep that night, worried sick about his life, his future, his studies. He wasn’t sure which way he was going to direct his life. All these thought had bubbled up and sent his sleep far away. That was when he turned on the radio to distract himself.
A teardrop escaped the boundary of his eyes and fell on his cheek. It was followed by a stream of uncountable tears on hearing the soft whispers like song. It was as if the voice was singing to him, comforting him.
-Promise- the song that tore up Min Yoongi.
He had never thought that tuning into radio would have been the best decision of his life. He never knew the voice he heard the first thing on radio would become so dear to him. He had immediately looked upon the singer who possessed such sweet voice, totally his type of voice.
Yoongi’s heart did a weird flip when he saw the pictures of Park Jimin the voice behind the song.
Soft- was the first word that came to Yoongi’s mind when he scrolled through his pictures.
Innocent- that’s what his eyes spoke to him.
Beautiful- that he was, the most beautiful human being he had ever seen.
Intriguing- there was something in the way he stared with those innocent eyes that intrigued Yoongi.
How could he never knew that someone as young and beautiful as Park Jimin existed, someone who had voice like a nightingale and was Nation’s sweetheart. How could he not?
Since that day Yoongi had become a fan, an admirer of Park Jimin.
Yoongi smiled thinking of those years old memories of admiring and loving Jimin from far. He admired Jimin, so much that Jimin was next to Photography and Music as the most valuable things/people his life.
He loved taking pictures of things that fascinated him, things he deemed beautiful, things that he want to remember, things that might hold special meaning in his life. So when he decided to be a fansite for Jimin it didn’t come off as surprise to his friends.
Now here he was, lying awake on his bed, nervous because tomorrow he was going to be there, early morning, standing outside the airport for Jimin’s scheduled visit to Japan for his concert. He had used all his savings for the concert and plane tickets. He now had to work harder than ever.
Amidst all those thoughts he didn’t know when the sleep fairy blessed him with sleep.
**
The next morning Yoongi woke up early and hurried to the airport. To say he was nervous was an understatement. he looked around he found many other people joining him outside the airport, most of them being girls. He didn’t spot any boy like him with the camera in hand but he wasn’t the one to back down. If he had made a decision he was going to stick to it
.
“Move.” A voice snapped him out of his thoughts.
He looked in the direction of the voice to notice a girl standing next to him with a camera in her hands and scowling at him.
“Pardon?”
She rolled her eyes and clicked her tongue in disapproval, “I said move. That’s my spot.”
Rude
Yoongi thought. He had never raised his voice or tried to fight anyone but he also never was the one to bear rude people.
“I’m sorry this is my spot now. Go look for somewhere else.” He answered back.
“That’s the best spot and it is supposed to be for me.” Her eyes were red in rage, her nostrils flaring with anger.
“Not anymore.” Yoongi replied nonchalantly and focussed his attention on setting his camera.
“I said move.” She gritted her teeth.
“Hey you can give up for now. There’s plenty of space over there, just pick any.” Another girl who noticed the tension between them spoke up while offering a reassuring smile to Yoongi.
“This isn’t over. I hate new people like you, thinking you can come here and claim my Jimin.” The first girl spoke and left, stomping her feet harshly on the ground.
“Sorry about her. Minji is just too stuck up.” The polite girl smiled.
“Thank you.” Yoongi bowed his head slightly.
“Ah It’s fine really.” She waved her hand and chuckled. “I’m Yeonsoo.” She forwarded her hand for a handshake.
“I’m Yoongi.” He quickly shook her hand before returning it back to grip the camera tighter.
“New? “ She asked.
Yoongi had no clue what she meant by asking it so he just nodded.
“I figured.” She mumbled.
She was about to say something but just then commotion started among everyone.
Nation's sweetheart was arriving.
Whispers became loud cheers and shouts as everyone tried to maintain their spot and ready their cameras.
Loud thumping of his heart had blocked out every other noise around him. Only and only his heart beats echoed in his ear. He fumbled with his camera, making last minute adjustments to capture the best pictures.
In a matter of few minutes a large van stopped outside the airport. It took a while for the door to open and every one patiently waited for it. Yoongi didn’t realise he was holding his breath. He was going to see the Park Jimin.
Jimin was going to be only few feet away from him in few seconds and Yoongi was having a hard time processing it. It still seemed like a dream, a very beautiful dream that he didn’t want to wake up from. But he was afraid that someone would jolt him out of his dream and he would be disappointed.
But it was REAL. It wasn’t a dream.
He was going to finally see him. Yoongi was going to finally see Jimin and he was panicking.
“Hey! what are you doing? Are you gonna keep standing there or take pictures too?” Yeonsoo spoke.
It brought him back from his trance, the camera almost falling out of his hands as he tried to steady his breath. Jimin had already entered the airport and was heading toward Yoongi’s spot. Yoongi froze, his eyes gawked at Jimin as he walked past him.
Hundreds of cameras flashed, noise of opening and closing of shutter was louder than ever but Yoongi was deaf to them. His focus was on the boy walking in front of him, in an overly large green padded jacket that was falling off his shoulders and a big beanie perched on top of his head. He looked tired but he still stopped and waved at everyone. The camera in Yoongi’s hand long forgotten as he stared at the little angel in green, smiling and waving at them.
The moment he walked in front of him created a buzz in his mind. The time felt frozen and he was sweating like crazy. Nothing else mattered to him.
But the moment was too short.
He was soon being shoved around by the crowd, the face of Jimin being lost among the sea of heads of people. He stood there trying not to stumble and fall while watching Jimin disappear.
“Dude you literally froze. Didn’t even take a picture. Are you okay?” Yeonsoo’s voice brought him back to reality.
“Ah Yeah.” Yoongi placed the camera back in the bag. He removed his cap and scratched the back of his head before putting it back. “I’m heading back home.” He said and picked his camera bag and left.
**
“So show us your boy’s pictures.” Namjoon sat plopped down on the couch next to Yoongi and patted his thigh.
Hoseok shot Namjoon a look and shook his head, mouthing, “DON’T ASK.” Namjoon shrugged his shoulders , wriggling his eyebrows and asking questions from Hoseok silently.
“I didn’t take any. I fucking froze.” Yoongi groaned, throwing his arms behind.
“It’s okay Yoongi. Don’t worry about it. You still have a chance at concert.” Hoseok assured him.
“Yeah Hobi is right.” Namjoon nodded his head. “By the way.” He turned his head toward Yoongi. “Hobi told you were working on a track?”
“Hobi told huh?” Yoongi threw a death glare toward Hobi who immediately started coughing up.
“I’ll- I’ll go see if we have enough food for tonight.” Hoseok ran out of the living room to head to kitchen.
“It’s not done yet.” Yoongi returned his gaze toward Namjoon. “And I’m not sure if I’ll ever finish it.”
“Why is that?”
“I don’t know. It is missing some elements. I can’t figure out what but it is just not coming out like how I imagined it to be.” Yoongi sighed.
“Don’t push yourself too hard hyung. You’re already working at my cafe and make tunes late night for those dumb shitheads who call themselves as music mogul. And now with your fansite thing. I’m really worried about your health.” Namjoon rested his hand on Yoongi’s shoulder, squeezing it lightly.
“I’m perfectly fine Joonie.” Yoongi gave him an assuring smile.
“I hope you really are.” Namjoon smiled, showing two tiny dimples digging in both his cheeks. “When is the concert?”
“Two days from today. I couldn’t get the tickets for the first night but managed for the second.” A happy grin spread on Yoongi’s face thinking about the concert day. It was going to be his first ever concert and he was on cloud nine thinking that his first concert will be of his crush, Park Jimin.
“You leaving tomorrow then?” Namjoon asked.
“Yeah the next day morning. I’ll sleep the entire day and be ready for concert the other night.”
“You’ve planned everything hyung.”
“Of course I have. I only hope that I don’t freeze again.”
“You won’t.” Namjoon said.
“And if he freeze again. I’ll cut off his Americano intake.” Hoseok announced as soon as he entered the room.
“Yaaa Hobi. I dare you to do it. I’ll never buy you any drinks.” Yoongi said in a pretence-annoyance, throwing a cushion at Hoseok.
Hoseok shrieked and ducked his head down, “ Hyung I have beer cans in my hand. You’ll spill it all.”
Yoongi laughed and Namjoon joined along.
**
Yoongi was to take an early flight the next day. Hoseok and Namjoon woke up early to drop him off at airport in Hoseok’s car even when Yoongi protested against it.
“Aren’t we your friends hyung? You should let us do bare minimum sometimes.” Namjoon had said, handing him a sandwich he made for his cafe menu.
“You really didn’t have to.” Yoongi said.
“We wanted to. Now shut up hyung let me concentrate on driving if you don’t want me to crash.” Hoseok glared at Yoongi from the mirror.
They sat in silence for a while enjoying the chilly air and the dark sky just before the day break.
“I don’t understand why you taking your music equipment when you are going there for two days.” Namjoon broke the silence and frowned, looking at Yoongi’s bag.
“And that too going for taking pictures.” Hoseok rolled his eyes.
“I’ll have an entire day free. I won’t have you both to pester me so I can work on my track.”
“Don’t forget to take pictures of your beautiful boy though.” Hoseok winked.
“And if you see anyone troubling him just throw a punch.” Namjoon chuckled.
“Sure sure and land behind the bars.”
“We all know this ain’t gonna happen just for punching some bitches.” Hoseok slammed his hand on steering, laughing.
“It might. You never know the possibility of things like this.”
“Hyung please.” Hoseok rolled his eyes and stopped the car. “Now hurry you’ll miss your flight. I don’t want to park the car so just get out soon before I get a ticket.”
Yoongi got out, pulled his bags out and waved at his friends before heading inside.
After he was done with all the formalities he was sitting inside the plane ready to fall asleep to Jimin’s voice.
**
Yoongi didn’t realise when the entire day passed. He remembered coming to his booked hotel and falling asleep as soon as he fell on the bed. It was already evening when he woke up, his body aching from sleeping in a wrong posture.
He ordered his food and opened his laptop in a hope that he might work on music. He wanted to make a good enough tune to sell off. Any money was good even if that meant selling his hard work at minimum price. No one in the music industry wanted to take a risk and give a newbie music producer a chance. So he was okay with whatever he was doing.
He ate the dinner and started working on something that he had been stuck on. It wasn’t anything different today, he was still stuck and unhappy with the outcome. He wanted more, hoped for more but it wasn’t coming through. So he shut his laptop down and headed back to bed, scrolling through his phone. He had received innumerable texts from Hoseok and Namjoon. Sending a quick reply to them he turned off the lights, waiting for sleep to take over him again.
He tossed and turned while waiting to fall asleep but he was wide awake. He knew he wouldn’t fall asleep just yet. His phone vibrated against the wooden surface of the table. He glided his thumb on the screen to unlock it.
Hoseok- You are in Japan hyung. Please get out of your hotel room. Even going to a cafe would be fine. Get that fresh air !! xoxo
Yoongi chuckled, he could imagine Hoseok’s stern yet playful tone while he spoke this. Well he wasn’t really entirely wrong. He could use some fresh air now. Even if it was getting dark outside it wouldn’t hurt to go for a stroll.
He put on his tee and jeans, topping it with a jacket and left his hotel room.
The outside atmosphere was chilly. Yoongi was glad he grabbed his beanie at the last moment. It was alot warmer than now in the day but then again Autumn was at its full bloom so chilly winds were kind of expected.
Yoongi looked around, contemplating whether he should find a good place to sit and have a coffee or get an Americano and walk around the place for a while. He eventually settled on latter and bought an Americano and wandered around.
There was something different he felt about himself-the lightness in his steps, a rocketing fresh energy pulsing in him, a constant relaxation on his usually tensed face. He was surrounded by people rushing up and down the streets but he felt too distant from them, too lost in his own world but definitely not lonely. He felt different.
Maybe it was something in the air of Japan or maybe it had something to do with the concert tomorrow.
He had his mask pushed down, resting snugly under his chin as he took sips from his drink and followed the street lights as far as he could. As the time passed by the crowd on the roads and streets started lessening in number, reducing to only a handful of people around. He was humming to himself the song that had introduced him to Jimin, his idol.
Yoongi was so lost in his thoughts that he didn’t even realise when a stranger who seemed to be in a hurry bumped into him, knocking the drink from his hands and onto his jacket before falling on the ground, all the liquid sprawled on the pavement like an abstract art.
“I’m so sorry. I’m so sorry.” The said stranger kept on mumbling while pulling out a handkerchief from his coat and dabbing on Yoongi’s jacket.
“ ‘s fine.” Yoongi tried to stop him.
“No no. I should’ve been more careful.” He hung his head low, his larger-than-his-own-head-beanie poking at Yoongi’s chin slightly.
“You seemed to be in a hurry so it’s fine, Really.” Yoongi tried to pull back.
The other boy dropped his hand and sighed, his handkerchief now wet and sticky with the drink gripped tightly in his hand probably making his own hands sticky, the strong aroma of coffee lingering in the air but he barely cared.
“I’m sorry.” He bowed. “Let me buy you a drink please.”
“It’s fine. You don’t have to. I was already finished with my drink.” Yoongi gave him an assuring smile. He could feel that the boy before him seemed a nervous wreck. He didn’t want to add anymore troubles to whatever he was already facing.
“Please let me. I know a place that make amazing coffees.” The sweetness in the voice seemed oddly familiar to Yoongi but he brushed it off thinking that maybe it was the drink that made him feel it.
“Okay.” Yoongi shrugged and followed the boy. He shouldn’t be following strangers but then there was a kind of sincerity in his voice that Yoongi couldn’t say No. He shoved his hand deep into his Jacket’s pocket and followed him into a very warm looking cafe.
“This is one of my favourite place.” The boy beamed. Yoongi couldn’t help but smile. He couldn’t see the boy’s face since it was all covered up with sunglasses and mask but he could definitely feel the smile radiating from him.
How he could? He didn’t know but he definitely could feel it.
“Americano?” He turned toward Yoongi and said.
“Huh?” Yoongi was caught off-guard.
“You want Americano right?” he asked again, trying to hold back his giggles.
“Y-yeah, yeah Americano.” Yoongi nodded his head.
“One Americano and one caramel latte with extra whipped cream please.” He ordered.
“That’s a whole lot of diabetes.” Yoongi humoured.
“I can handle it. Need a little sweetness in a bland life.” Other chuckled dryly.
Yoongi didn’t know how to respond so he just took the drink and thanked the other.
“Your name?” the other asked.
“Yoongi, Min Yoongi.” He said, taking a sip of his drink
.
“Unique name.” He hummed.
“Your?” Yoongi asked.
“It’s, uh...” he paused for a moment “Christian Park.”
“That’s.. a very different name.”
The door of the cafe open again and in rushed few men in suits. Every head in the cafe turned toward them, confused.
“Oh No. I gotta run.” Christian said side-eyeing the men. “It was nice meeting you Yoongi. See you around.” He bent forward slightly, all ready to run and sprints forward leaving Yoongi baffled.
“But..” Yoongi was about to say but Christian was already out of sight. “..your drink.”
Yoongi grabbed his second cup of Americano and took his leave. He walked back to his hotel praying he get some sleep before the big day tomorrow.
**
Yoongi knew he was going to get late. With all the caffeine in his system it was inevitable for him to sleep early and eventually get up early. But anyways he reached the dome on time, with no breakfast of course. Few formalities, security check and he was finally inside fighting for a better spot.
“Hey, hey Kitten eyes.”
Yoongi turned around quickly to find Yeonsoo waving at him while making her way toward him.
“We meet again.” She smiled.
“Yes.” Yoongi smiled and nodded at her.
“Don’t freeze this time on seeing him.” She laughed.
“I will try not to.” He smiled sheepishly while a deep red blush creeped on his face as he adjusted his mask.
“I never got your name last time.” She asked again, taking the spot next to Yoongi.
“Min Yoongi.”
“Kim Yeonsoo.” She outstretched her hand and Yoongi hesitantly took it to shake.
“What’s your fansite name?” she asked, her eyes gazing at his camera.
“Huh?” He frowned.
“Fansite name? The watermark you’re gonna put on your final pictures? You haven’t decided any?”
Yoongi brought his brows nearer, frowning a little as he pondered over different names. Somehow his mind settled on one unbeknownst.
“Caramel Latte Chim” he said with a wide grin on his face.
“Oh that’s a very well thought name. I like it.”
As they were talking, the hall began to fill and loud music started playing out. There was still half an hour more for the concert to begin but Yoongi could already feel the thrill in his body, tiny gooseflesh rising in the back of his neck, apparently the only exposed body part of his.
In no time the lights went out and the music faded. The entire dome was dark until a single spotlight lit the stage and fell on a figure standing in the middle of the stage.
Dressed in a sheer black shirt and tight black pants was none other than Park Jimin. His blond hair slicked aside revealing his forehead. Yoongi’s breath was caught up in his throat as the music began to fill the dome and Jimin opened his mouth to sing. His limbs stretching and forming different poses in rhythm with the beat leaving everyone in the dome breathless. Yoongi knew that no one can ever be as beautiful and as ethereal as the one standing on stage ever.
There were loud cheers and screams and chants of Jimin’s name muffled with random I love you’s but to Yoongi all the voices meant nothing. His ears were only responding to Jimin’s voice, only listening him sing.
“Yoongi-ssi, Yoongi-ssi.” Yeonsoo shook his shoulder.
Yoongi looked at her, her voice sounding nothing but like a white static. He frowned trying to make out what she was saying when she pointed at the camera.
“PICTURES.”
He nodded his head and raised his camera to adjust the aperture and click.
Click! Click! Click!
His camera went off, clicking innumerable pics in one go. The moment Jimin was lifted up in his choreo Yoongi stopped breathing. His one hand went to his face to pull the mask down as he took long, deep breaths.
Yoongi’s hands worked on their own, his fingers constantly adjusting and clicking, taking every picture they can. He didn’t realise when the two hours were about to pass and the concert came close to an end.
“Are Y’all having fun guys?” Jimin’s voice echoed in the dome followed by loud screams. He kept huffing, trying to catch his breath as he looked around at every fan with a smile plastered on his face.
Jimin was speaking something. Yoongi was having hard time figuring out what it was amidst all the screams. His eyes lingering at every face in the concert hall as if he was trying to remember all of them.
The moment his eyes landed Yoongi’s section, his eyes turned wider and his smile faltered for a second before turning into a bigger grin. He waved at all of them enthusiastically.
Yoongi’s heart was palpitating. His camera long-forgotten.
Yeonsoo held his hand and waved back at Jimin. It was a short moment but felt like a lifetime worth. Yoongi wasn’t sure if Jimin looked at him but he wondered if Jimin would remember his face.
It was all over in heartbeat. When Jimin’s gaze shifted from Yoongi’s section to other, he doesn’t remember. When Jimin said goodbye, he doesn’t remember. When the lights went off and people started leaving, he doesn’t remember.
“Yoongi-ssi. It’s time to leave. “ Yeonsoo laughed. “You’re so whipped already.” She patted his shoulder. Yoongi blushed and looked down, hiding his red face from Yeonsoo.
“Lets get out.” He said and they both left the venue.
**
Being a fansite wasn’t an easy job, Yoongi understood it now. He would stay up late- editing the pictures and uploading them on his social media accounts to share them with other fans as soon as possible. It gave him a certain kind of satisfaction when he would capture a brilliant pose with a proper light effects bringing out the ethereality of Jimin.
People had started acknowledging his work and supporting him financially. He get to see his favourite idol every time he could and other fans were enjoying his work. There were times when Jimin would look in his direction and smile or sometimes even wave.
And Yoongi lived for those moments.
It was all going good.
Park Jimin was reaching higher pinnacle of success with each passing day. He was going to hold his first ever stadium concert in US. His tickets sold out in minutes and Yoongi barely managed to grab them in the last moment after trying so hard. Everyone- Hoseok, Namjoon and him were ready with their devices to get hold on any ticket and luckily they got it.
“Holy shit!” Hoseok gasped. “Don’t ever ask me to do this, ever again. This was so nerve-wrecking man. I cannot handle this much stress.”
“Me too. My brain is frying at the moment. And my fried brain needs a giant cup of tea.” Namjoon got up and headed to the kitchen.
Yoongi chuckled, “I face this all the time.”
“Hats off to you, man.” Hoseok stood straight and saluted him making him laugh harder.
It was all fun and happiness until the day Yoongi was standing at the airport again waiting for Jimin to arrive. He noticed there was an increase in number of fans waiting for him- some with cameras and some without. He was used to witness a large crowd but the crowd this time was scary. He could feel in his gut that something was wrong but he couldn’t pin-point it.
He tried to find Yeonsoo-who had become his sort of acquaintance fansite but he couldn’t see her. What he could see was Minji struggling to find a good spot.
The moment soon arrived when Jimin stepped out of the car, smiling and waving at his fans.
But it took only few seconds for Yoongi to register what was happening the crowd suddenly was too close to Jimin, invading his personal space and shoving their phones and cameras at him. There was barely few steps difference between the crowd and Jimin.
Jimin did have security and they were doing their best to keep crazy fans at bay and they were somewhat successful in that. However one girl refused to step away and kept getting closer and closer to Jimin. The uneasiness was clearly inevitable on his face. Yoongi easily recognised the girl as Minji.
Yoongi couldn’t sit back and let her make Jimin uncomfortable. He saw Minji trying to latch herself at Jimin. Her arms reaching out for Jimin to grab his waist. Yoongi couldn’t think what to do. He had only one thought running in his mind.
Protect Jimin!
He ran and slightly pushed Minji away. Meanwhile her hand managed to grab Jimin’s jacket making him stumble. The entire crowd gasped but Yoongi immediately held his arms, supporting him to stay put. Jimin held Yoongi’s hand desperately, his grip a little too tight.
In that moment Jimin looked so vulnerable. His lips parted and trembling, his knuckles had turned white due to his tight hold and his eyes wide open in horror of the event.
“Hey, Hey. You’re alright. It’s okay. You’re okay. I got you.” Yoongi kept mumbling, his free hand still holding Jimin.
Jimin’s bodyguard quickly came through and caught hold of him. They pulled him away, Jimin’s hand slowly loosing it’s grip on Yoongi’s hand as he was being taken away from Yoongi.
The last thing Yoongi saw and heard before Jimin was lost in the protective circle of his bodyguards was Jimin turning back and looking at him, mumbling something that seemed a lot like-
“Thank you Yoongi-ssi.”
Yoongi stood there, all alone as the world moved around him in a normal pace. His phone kept vibrating in his jeans but he didn’t pick. He kept staring in the direction Jimin went.
His phone went off again, and again, and again.
He fished his phone out and squinted his eyes to focus to read the name on the screen. The expressions on his face changed, contorting into a frown.
“Hyung.” He answered, managing a smile on his face.
It took only five seconds for his smile to disappear.
Fifteen seconds for him to start running out of airport and look for taxi.
Thirty seven minutes for him to reach his place.
Fifty minutes for the first tear to start drip from his eyes.
And Two hours for Hoseok to come home and find him, sobbing in his room.
In four hours Yoongi was on his train back to his hometown, Daegu.
He didn’t go to LA or to the next concert or the next. The fansite life came to a standstill after being highly active for ten months. His mother needed him now and he couldn’t stay in Seoul.
**
Yoongi took a deep breath before entering the hospital. It wasn’t the first time and Yoongi was sure it certainly won’t be the last. In past two months he had made innumerable visits to the hospital. Though the visits had increased in number for last few weeks. He was afraid of the inevitable.
The light was too bright for his eyes as he walked in. He shut them momentarily, slowly opening them, adjust to the brightness like a new-born kitten. The smell of disinfectants mixed with fresh flowers in a vase hit his nostrils almost immediately. The screeching of wheel chairs, loud distant noises, spotless white interiors was a little too much for him. It made his stomach bawl and a sudden urge to puke but he had to stay strong.
He walked to that one room that had been engraved on his mind now. The white beddings hiding petite body of his mother. She was sleeping for the time being. He sat on the chair near the bed and stared at her. She looked so serene and beautiful despite the amount of weight she has lost. Her chest rose and fell with every breath she took.
He watched her for so long- as long as he could. His childhood playing before his eyes like a film reminding him of all the happy moments he spent with his mother. He had very little time on his hand and so much to talk to his mother.
“Yoongi hyung.” Yoongi lifted his head to notice his both friends standing next to him. Hoseok’s hand were resting on his shoulder and he squeezed his shoulder slightly.
“She’ll be fine soon. Don’t worry “ Hoseok spoke.
Yoongi looked at blurred faces of Hoseok and Namjoon. It was then he realised that he had tears in his eyes.
Namjoon stepped ahead, “Why not let her sleep while we go and grab something to eat. I’m sure you haven’t eaten anything yet.”
Yoongi took a glance at his mother and just nodded.
They walked to nearest cafe. Hoseok and Yoongi sat down while Namjoon went to order
“How is she doing?” Hoseok asked.
“Been having more severe headaches now. I don’t know what to do to help.” Yoongi said, throwing his head back.
“You’re doing enough Hyung. It’s not in your control.”
Namjoon came back, placing the sandwiches and coffee on table he sat down next to Yoongi.
“I know and with all the money running out. I’m not sure how long we can manage the hospital bills. My brother is working all day long for this. All my savings from being a fansite are running out too.”
“You know we can help you right?” Namjoon said.
“I know but no we have to deal this on our own. I cannot add on pressure on you guys.” Yoongi answered.
“Hyung I’m not sure if I should say this but have you decided on going back to being.. you know.. fansite.” Namjoon hesitantly asked.
“I don’t think I can anymore Joonie. It’s been months.” Yoongi sighed.
“People still miss your work.” Hoseok said.
Yoongi smiled weakly, “I cannot go back. Jimin probably had forgotten about my name too.”
“What do you mean by that?” Hoseok cocked his brow up.
Yoongi shrugged and revealed the entire incident to them.
“Are you kidding me hyung?” Hoseok yelled.
“Hobi.” Namjoon scoffed, looking around at the people staring at them.
“Oh sorry.” Hoseok smiled apologetically at everyone around and ducked his head. “Are you kidding me hyung? You sure he said YOONGI and not something else?” Hoseok asked in a lower voice.
Yoongi rolled his eyes, “I can hear clearly Hobi. I know he said my name but I don’t know how he knew me and my name.”
“Whoa!! That’s crazy.” Hoseok gasped.
“Maybe he saw your name from your twitter?” Namjoon asked.
“Joonie I never mentioned my name even once on my fansite account.”
“hmm. I don’t know how to explain this then.” Namjoon pouted his lips, resting his index finger on them.
“I don’t know either, so I just let it go.” Yoongi shrugged his shoulders, other two hummed in response and went back to eating in silence.
They went back to hospital to spend the rest of the day with Yoongi’s mother. She was awake by the time they reached and greeted them warmly. The hospital room was filled with her laughter as Hoseok enthusiastically told her their stories. Namjoon sat beside her taking her hands in his. Yoongi stood in the doorway, leaning against the wall, watching her eyes come to life.
“I’ll go ask doctor when we can take you home.” Yoongi spoke and left.
He pressed the doorknob and entered the doctors room but oh boy, was he ever prepared for what was waiting inside for him.
As the door opened doctor as well as the person sitting opposite him turned their head toward him.
Yoongi froze, AGAIN.
He was never prepared for it, ever. The boy sitting in the room was none other than Park Jimin himself.
“I-I’m sorry.” Yoongi managed to speak. “I’ll come later.”
“Oh Yoongi-ssi. It’s fine. I was about to come talk to you. Come have a seat.” Doctor smiled.
Jimin got up from the chair and began to leave, “Thank you doctor.”
“No problem at all. You’re completely fine.”
Jimin left the room but not before stopping next to Yoongi murmuring, “I’ll wait outside. Need to talk.”
Yoongi stood there shocked even when Jimin left.
“Please have a seat Yoongi-ssi.” Doctor motioned toward the seat again and Yoongi complied. “Your mother is ready for discharge. But I’m afraid the tumour is increasing at an increased pace. There isn’t much we can do but please do keep bringing her for check ups. We’ll see if she might need a surgery to ease the headaches.”
Yoongi nodded and got up, “ Thank you doctor.”
The doctor answered him with a tight-lipped sympathetic smile. Yoongi was quick to exit the room without giving the doctor any further glance.
“Yoongi-ssi.” A sweet voice called him as soon as he stepped out of doctor’s room. Yoongi knew who it was, he could recognise it anywhere anytime. He turned toward his left and saw Jimin leaning against the walls with his arms crossed against his chest.
“J-Jimin.” He stuttered.
“That’s me.” Jimin chuckled.
“How do you know my name?” Yoongi asked.
“We’ve met already.” Jimin blushed.
“But concerts and airport doesn’t count.”
Jimin frowned and started thinking, biting his lips. His eyes widened in next few seconds, “Oh.” He giggled. “My face was covered but I bought you an Americano in Japan. We talked then.”
“But..” Yoongi paused to remember those events again. “Christian Park?”
Jimin nodded.
“It makes sense.”
“I-I always wanted to thank you for saving me in the airport but you disappeared. I tried looking for you. No one knew where you lived.” Jimin furrowed his brows together.
“I’m sorry. Something came up.” Yoongi looked down.
“Something?” Jimin asked.
“Yeah..” Yoongi scratched the back of his neck. “My mum’s not in her best health. I need to take care of her.”
“Oh. Is she here?” Jimin asked, pointing at the floor.
“Yeah. She is.”
“Mind if I meet her?” Jimin smiled widely, his eyes disappearing behind the crescent shaped eyelids.
He really wanted to meet my mother? Park Jimin?” Yoongi thought.
“Can I?” he asked again.
“Okay”, Yoongi replied after a beat of silence. They quietly entered the hall of the patient rooms with Jimin one step behind Yoongi. It was silent saved for the sound of their footsteps and the faint sound of a heart rate machine.
When they reached his mother's ward, Yoongi stopped at the doorstep in a moment of hesitation.
“ Do you really want to meet her?”
Jimin frowned, “Yes. Why wouldn't I want to?”
“I don't know. This all seems so surreal that I can't really wrap my head around it”, Yoongi said with a shrug.
I can't believe I'm standing in front of you. Is this really happening?- That was what Yoongi wanted to say.
Jimin looked at Yoongi for a second, then smiled softly. “Its okay. It's just me. I'm not God or something just a normal guy who likes to sing and got famous because apparently people liked what he did.”
I don't like you. I love you.
“Yoongi? Is that you outside?”
Yoongi was about to answer him when they heard Yoongi’s mother.
“Yes mom”, Yoongi replied from outside. He could feel his anxiety rising but when he turned to Jimin only to find him looking at him with a gentle expression, he took a deep breath and after nodding towards the other he entered the ward.
His mother was sitting up when they enter. Her face expression changed from a welcoming smile to a more confused smile when she noticed the other man entering the room along with his son. Beside her his two friends looked equally confused and stunned.
Jimin bowed before them and said a polite Hello.
“Holy shit.” Hoseok finally spoke.
“Eomma, guys this is Jimin. He is-”
His mom cut him off before he could finish his sentence and said, “I think I have seen you somewhere.”
None of the others spoke and looked at each other, passing knowing glances.
“You might have seen me on TV, on some variety shows.” Jimin answered with a shy smile.
“Ah!! I remember. Park-Park Min-Junmin?” She frowned trying to remember.
“Eommaaa !! Park Jimin.” Yoongi corrected her, feeling embarrassed.
“Right, right Park Jimin.” She laughed. “sorry I’m an old woman. I apologise for my weak memory.”
“It is fine.” Jimin giggled along.
Yoongi coughed to gain Jimin’s attention, “These are my friends Hoseok and Namjoon.” Yoongi pointed at them.
“Waaah! You’re more handsome in real life.” Namjoon spoke up.
“Thank you.” Jimin shied away.
“Don’t just stand there, come sit here.” Yoongi’s mother scooted on one side and patted the side of her bed. Jimin complied easily and sat near her.
“Let me take a good look at your face. I want to remember you Jiminie before the monster here eats up all my memories.” The creases on her face deepened as she tried to smile and looked intently at Jimin.
“Monster?” Jimin immediately turned toward Yoongi, looking for the answer.
“Eomma please. Don’t say things like that. You’re fine. See doctor even signed your discharge sheet.” He lifted up the file in his hand and waved it.
“Right, right.” She laughed. “whatever you say son.”
Jimin spent about an hour with her telling her stories about his childhood, his parents, concerts and different countries. They all laughed and smiled alot, more than they had done these past two months. Yoongi couldn’t help but stare at Jimin, his every gesture, his laughs, his eyes, his lips, his nose, his chubby cheeks, the way he covered his mouth when laughed, the way his eyes turned half moons every time.
The more he watched, the more he fell in love. He thought it was crazy to fall so stupidly in love with someone you don’t really know. But when did falling in love required permission?
It just happens, anytime, anywhere and with anyone.
“He took really pretty pictures of me.” Jimin said, looking at Yoongi.
“You know?” Yoongi asked, surprised.
“Yeah of course I knew.” Jimin smiled and looked straight in Yoongi’s eyes, the warmth in them melting everything around them, every worry, every tensed knot in his muscles.
I looked for you everywhere. As if his eyes said.
“I told you hyung.” Hoseok interrupted their eye talks. “Waah this is really crazy.”
Yoongi lowered his gaze to the ground avoiding looking at Jimin. Yoongi’s mother’s eyes lingered between them. She knew her son the best. She understood in a heartbeat what Jimin meant to Yoongi.
“Jimin what are you doing here in Daegu though?” Namjoon asked.
“I accompanied my friends Taehyung and Jungkook here, for their engagement.”
“Taehyung and Jungkook? You mean The Kim Taehyung and The Jeon Jungkook. They are getting engaged?” Hoseok was nearly screaming at this point.
“Yeah.” Jimin chuckled. “It is a very private event not even Taehyung knows. It’s a secret.” He whispered the last part. “I was there with Jungkook, trying to learn to drive when I met a small accident which eventually landed me here and I met y’all.”
A smile broke out on Yoongi’s lips that he tried hard to hide but couldn’t.
“Now now.” He cleared his throat. “It’s time to go back home.”
“Right, I should head back too. I’m sure Jin hyung must be looking for me.” Jimin said, getting up from the bed.
“Come visit us often.” Yoongi’s mother said.
“I’m here for almost a month’s vacation. So you’ll see me alot more than often.” Jimin chuckled in reply.
They all packed Yoongi’s mother’s stuff in a small bag and got out of the room, leaving the fresh flower back there.
“Ah Jiminah. You’re here. I’ve been looking for you everywhere. Atleast inform me before running off like this.” entered a tall man with wide shoulders looking exhausted and furious. His expressions eased when his eyes fell on Namjoon.
“and who might these handsome boys be?” he asked before Jimin could answer, his eyes never leaving Namjoon who in fact was already blushing.
“He’s Namjoon. I’m Hoseok.” Hoseok answered with a wink. “I’ll take her to the car, come back soon.” He ushered Yoongi’s mother out of the hospital.
“We’ll follow you.” Jimin spoke loudly. “Hyung I’ll be outside.” He shifted his gaze from Seokjin to Yoongi and gestured him to move, mouthing, “Let’s go.”
Yoongi nodded and left Namjoon and Seokjin behind. Yoongi and Jimin walked closer to each other. Their silhouettes almost brushing with each other. Suddenly Jimin burst into giggles and Yoongi turned toward him.
“That was funny.” Jimin said in between his giggles as they crossed the main entrance of the hospital.
“It certainly was.” He answered, amusingly.
The laughter died out soon, leaving them in utter silence.
“So... “ Jimin trailed off, kicking non-existent stones with his feet.
“So?”
“This is so weird but I wanted to ask if you’ll ever return back to being...” Jimin scratched his chin trying to find words to say it properly. “..a photographer?”
Yoongi snorted, “You mean a fansite. I’m not really sure. As you might have figured my mom is at last stages of cancer. I need to spend all my time with her and work near her for expenses.”
“Let me help you.”
“What?”
“I mean financially. Let me take care of expenses please.” Jimin asked.
“I-I’m..” Yoongi couldn’t express himself. “Thank you but we got this. I’ll take care of it. I don’t want to take someone’s hard earned money.”
“Then let me offer you a job as my photographer in return for the money. Accompany me to my concerts, award shows everywhere, take best shots and get paid You don’t have to join it yet. Join whenever. Just let me take care of all the bills now and it will be cut from your salary in the future.” Jimin was near to pleading, desperately wanting to help Yoongi.
“That’s a very generous offer. I’m not sure if I’m worthy of it.”
“Bullshit You obviously are. I don’t just offer randomly to anyone.”
“I’m.. I don’t know what to say.” Yoongi’s eyes focussed on Jimin, hesitation swimming in them.
“Take your time and answer me in few days.” Jimin gently smiled “Oh and save my contact number for answering of course. I’ll come visit your mom though. So you know, I-I might need your number. You get what I mean.”
“Jimin. Here ” Yoongi unlocked and handed his phone to Jimin.
Jimin immediately punched his number and saved it under the name of Caramel Latte Chim while grinning like a madman.
They meet soon, well sooner than soon when Yoongi texted a simple hi to Jimin. Constant back and forth texting was on and none of them realised how they have slowly creeped into each others life from waking up to going to bed, from laughing to Yoongi sobbing at late night while talking about his mother.
They just became close.
Once in a while Jimin would ask him about the offer he made and Yoongi would brush it off. Yoongi felt embarrassed asking for money even if Jimin said he would offer him a job. It wasn’t easy, his self-pride was too high to even negotiate these terms.
Anyways Jimin was true to his words, in a week he was at Yoongi’s home to spend time with his mother. She had had rough days but that particular day she was feeling well enough to converse with Jimin. Yoongi watched them with fondness in his eyes as he tried to blink away the tears in them.
He excused himself to go to kitchen and slumped against the wall as he cried. His sobs were thundering in the silent kitchen when he felt a hand on his shoulder.
“Hyung.”
Yoongi felt weight of Jimin clinging to him, taking him in his arms and stroked his hair.
“Jiminie.” He sobbed.
“Shush. I know hyung, I know.” Jimin rubbed his back up and down, trying to calm him.
“Doctor said she might need a surgery. Her headaches are getting so bad.” He hiccupped.
“We’ll get through this, hyung. I’ll talk to Jinnie hyung and we’ll take care of it.” Jimin said, smothering his back.
“Th-thank you.“
That was all it took for Yoongi to silently agree being Jimin’s photographer in near future. Jimin helped with all the expenses as Yoongi’s mother underwent surgery. Doctors cut a small part of her tumour to avoid any complications. The surgery did go well though. Her headaches reduced quite alot to Yoongi’s relief.
Jimin wasn’t just crawling into Yoongi’s life but also in his mother’s. She got quite fond of Jimin and always tried to cook for him even if her health wasn’t at its best. Her good days were open to all for visits. But beside Yoongi and his brother, only Jimin was allowed to visit during her bad days.
One of her good days she was just sitting on her bed and reading. The sunrays from the window lighting up her edges like a real angel. Jimin was in the kitchen trying to cook for himself and Yoongi, well he just sat there- his head in his mother’s lap.
This was perfect.
He wanted this, forever. His mother and Jimin beside him forever. He loved them the most. He had never failed to express it to his mother once.
With Jimin it was different. It was scary.
“You should ask him out Yoongi-ah.” His mother said once, out of the blues.
“Eomma!!” he whined “You know it’s not the time yet.”
“Yoongi-ah I don’t want you to hold back because of me. I’m doing okay. It would be the best thing ever for me if you and Jimin are together while I’m still here.” She said, running her fingers gently in his hair. “Think about it son. Please.”
“Hmm. I will. I promise.” Yoongi hummed, trying not to speak or he might choke because of the way he was holding back his tears.
He excused himself and jogged out of her room to his. It wasn’t long when Jimin followed him to his room with a concerned look.
“You okay?” he asked.
“I guess so.” Yoongi shrugged.
Jimin didn’t pester him further, his eyes flickering between all the music equipment in the room.
“Wow !! this is like a mini studio. You do music too?” He asked, raising his eyebrows.
“Sometimes yeah.”
“Mind showing me some of your work?”
“Uh.. it’s nothing good here.”
“I doubt that.”
“I’ll show you. Maybe someday. Not today. Okay?”
“Okay.” Jimin smiled knowingly.
Yoongi didn’t get to ask Jimin out . Not because he was a coward but because Jimin had to leave for Seoul soon. After thinking a lot and hesitating he managed to transfer his produced tracks in a pen drive and handed it to Jimin.
“Take it.” He said. Jimin looked up at his face, confused but nodded nevertheless.
A week after Jimin left, Yoongi’s mother passed away, silently in her sleep. Yoongi was sleeping beside her when a nightmare woke him up. He jostled out of his bed and looked at his mother. One moment she was breathing and the other she was not.
He didn’t cry.
He slowly got up from bed and picked his phone with trembling hands while dialling his older brothers number. He disconnected the call before the other could answer. He was sweating profusely even when it was snowing outside.
He picked up his phone to call again, not his brother but someone he needed by his side then.
“Jiminie come home, Please.”
That was all he needed to say for Jimin to take next train to Daegu. Jimin had called Hoseok and Namjoon in a fret, telling them to meet him in Daegu while his other friends Jungkook and Taehyung hurried to Yoongi’s aid.
**
“She’s sleeping peacefully now.” Yoongi had said, hiding his face in the crook of Jimin’s neck. Hot tears fell down Jimin’s cheek, disappearing in Yoongi’s blonde hair.
The funeral was all black clothes and blank stoic faces. Some faces sobbed, Yoongi didn’t know why. He never knew them. It had snowed last night, seemed like his mother really loved being one with snow. The ground was covered with white and looked as beautiful as his peacefully sleeping mother.
The cold wasn’t bothering him, the hand he was holding was warming him up enough to not care about the cold.
“You should come with me. To Seoul.” Jimin said, once the funeral services were over and they were back inside the now empty house.
“okay.” Yoongi had just shrugged and agreed taking everyone by surprise.
Yoongi was back to Seoul sooner than ever, back to working at Namjoon’s cafe. His camera long forgotten, resting in one corner of his room. With his comeback around Jimin got alot busier but their texts never faltered.
There were days when he would miss his mother the most. Those days were the hardest for him to get out of bed. He’d lay down and stare at the ceiling with tears streaming down his eyes and wetting his pillow. Those were the days he wished Jimin was next to him, he didn’t care if they would speak or not but his mere presence felt like a breath of fresh air to him but Jimin was busy. They’d meet maybe once in a month looking at each other with longing in their eyes but none of them said a word.
They were too afraid to burst whatever was between them, too afraid that if they tried confronting it might end the sweet friendship between them.
The day of Jimin’s comeback finally came and also came the dates for his world tour. That meant a long distance of hours and oceans between them and Yoongi wasn’t sure how to feel about it.
“You know you should just tell him now. We can’t see you like this.” Namjoon squeezed Yoongi’s shoulder as Hoseok nodded along.
“It’s not easy Joon.” Yoongi sighed. “I wish I could tell. But then I realise how different our worlds are.”
“But we all can see how he looks at you. Like.. like..” Hoseok said, fumbling with words.
“like what?” Yoongi asked, his eyes keenly staring at Hoseok.
“Like he’s in love with you.” Namjoon finished his words.
“I-I don’t know.” Yoongi blushed, his hands fidgeting with the strings of his hoodie.
“Think about it. Don’t get too late in confessing. He’d only wait for so long.” Namjoon said.
Yoongi nodded but his mind couldn’t stop thinking about the possibilities of Jimin with someone else. Just the mere idea of someone else holding him and making him smile brought a pang of pain in his chest. He had to know what was in Jimin’s mind before he left for his months long tour.
These thoughts plagued his mind the entire day. He found himself thinking of it again while in bed.
What if he really found someone else?
Looking at it this way, he was a famous and prettiest celebrity, loved by every single person. It won’t be hard for him to fall for someone who wasn’t Yoongi.
The doorbell rang breaking the chain of his thoughts. Yoongi looked at his phone to check the time.
11:25pm
Who would be there so late? He was sure Hoseok had left for his hometown and wasn’t supposed to return for atleast a week. Namjoon would never come unannounced and Jimin, well Jimin was busy preparing for his tour.
He slowly dragged himself from the bed to the front door. Upon unlocking a door he found Jimin, breathless and huffing loudly.
“Jimin? What the fuck? You alright?”
“Yeah. I was out jogging and suddenly felt like seeing you. ” Jimin said in between his breaths.
“And you jogged here?” Yoongi’s eyes widened.
“well Kind of.”
“Get inside. I’ll get you some water. Jesus Christ. You’re insane sometimes. Do you even see what time is it? What if someone had spotted you out and followed you around. Why are you so naive... Oomph.”
Jimin’s mouth was on Yoongi’s, taking him by surprise. Yoongi was shocked and stopped functioning for a while because
HOLY SHIT, JIMIN WAS KISSING HIM.
The lack of response from Yoongi made Jimin try to pull back but Yoongi panicked and pulled him closer. He moved his lips, kissing Jimin back finally. His hands went around him and grabbed his plush hips, pulling him close and dragging him inside the apartment. He kicked the door with his feet.
Yoongi licked the seam of his lips earning a loud gasp from Jimin. He took the opportunity to slide his tongue in. Yoongi’s one hand roamed from his hip all the way up to cup side of Jimin’s jaw, fingers tickling the already hot skin.
Jimin fumbled with the Yoongi’s shirt wanting to get rid of everything between them but he also didn’t want to break the kiss.
However, Yoongi pulled back.
The room was resonating with the sound of suction of their lips when they parted and loud pants leaving their mouth while they tried to catch their breath. Yoongi was still holding him closer, close enough to feel his hot breaths on his exposed collarbones.
“We should talk.” Yoongi whispered, dragging his fingernail along his jaw to pull his chin up.
“Not now, Not now please.” Jimin looked at him through his hooded eyes. There was a pained look in them. Yoongi couldn’t help but lean close and kiss his forehead first, ghosting his lips over at Jimin’s eyes until he closed them for Yoongi to plant soft gentle kisses there.
It was short but sweet, enough to make Jimin inhale a sharp breath and hold it in. Yoongi kissed him again in need to remember how Jimin felt, how intoxicated he tasted.
“Bed.” He whispered in Jimin’s ear. Jimin nodded and followed Yoongi to his room, fidgeting with the hem of his hoodie. Yoongi pulled him closer and unzipped his hoodie, pushing it down his slender body revealing pristine, soft skin. Yoongi pressed gentle kisses on his collarbone, moving over to his shoulder, smiling as he moved down. His eyes fixated on Jimin who can’t help but shudder at every press of wet lips.
“Off !!” Jimin commanded. Yoongi complied, the corner of his lips tugged upwards sensing the change in his tone.
Jimin leaned forward to press their foreheads together, their breaths lying hot and heavy on each others skin. Yoongi’s skin was a lot paler than Jimin’s. Their bodies entangled together looked almost like a porcelain doll dipped in honey.
Yoongi pushed him back until he was lying with his back pressed flat against the mattress, hovering over him and watching him blink and stare at him. Jimin was doing nothing more than just blinking and looking at him, his long eyelashes kissing his cheeks every time he blinked. But Yoongi still, somehow found it quite amusing
was that how love supposed to be?
“C’mere !”Jimin made grabby hands and Yoongi immediately found his way in his arms, their lips joining again. Jimin wrapped his legs around Yoongi’s torso pulling him down letting their crotches touch, a moan escaped from Yoongi’s lips and melted in Jimin’s.
Yoongi let his hand trail lower to rest on Jimin’s hips. Jimin’s hand had already reached Yoongi’s hair, gently tugging at them.
Yoongi pulled back only to reach lower and latch his mouth on Jimin’s hardened nipple. His other hand rolling the free nipple between his thumb and index finger. Jimin moaned and arched his back thrusting upwards to get some friction.
“Baby please.” Jimin whimpered, thrusting again.
There was something beautiful in watching Jimin make pretty noises or just watching him in general and Yoongi don’t think he’d ever get tired of it.
“Let me take care of you baby.” Yoongi said and leaned forward to open the drawer beside bed to grab lube and condoms. He kept them aside and slowly pulled Jimin’s sweatpants along with his brief. His already hard cock sprung free and rested against his stomach. Yoongi gripped his knees and pulled them apart before raising them up displaying his pink fluttering hole.
“So beautiful baby. I wish you could look at yourself right now. You’re so beautiful Jiminie, like an angel. Fuck even more beautiful than an angel. ” Yoongi said softly. “Now hold your legs for me baby.”
Jimin was blushing hard, the deep blush reaching his chest and painted it red. Yoongi knelt before Jimin, coating his fingers with lube he pushed one digit inside and worked slowly, adding another digit. He made sure to prep Jimin well enough until he was reduced to a squirming mess. Jimin’s moans were like music to his ears and he would love to hear it on repeat everyday.
“Oh God.” Jimin whined when Yoongi’s fingers left his hole, making it clench on nothing. “Please hyung.”
“ Angel.” He said, while removing his shorts. He tore open a condom pack and rolled it on his length, hissing due to sensitivity.
Yoongi poured enough lube on his hard-on before lining against Jimin’s prepped hole.
“Hurry.. hy..” Jimin whined, his words caught in his throat when Yoongi immediately pushed in. A loud moan left his mouth and Yoongi leaned down to kiss him, thrusting his tongue in and licking the inside of his mouth. He waited until Jimin adjusted to his length.
“Move, now.” Jimin managed to say.
“Jimin.” Yoongi grunted and pulled back before thrusting in with full force. “You’re doing so good baby. Taking me so well.”
“Hyung!! Ah right there.” Jimin let out a stuttered moan as Yoongi’s cock hit his prostate. Yoongi took the chance to keep hitting it over and over again. He figured out a good rhythm and stayed on it with his eyes fixed on Jimin’s, watching his face contort in pleasure.
“I’m gonna come.” Jimin sobbed. His body writing under Yoongi, riding into oversensitivity with every graze on his prostate. Yoongi felt heat coiling in his lower stomach, ready to burst out.
“Yes baby. Come for me, Come for hyung.” He let his hand trail on Jimin’s chest, moving down to curl around his cock and began to stroke. “Cum for me baby.”
With another hit on his prostate Jimin was shooting white strings of hot cum on his chest, making a mess of Yoongi’s hand too. Few sloppy thrusts and Yoongi came too, spilling his seed in the condom.
He fell on top of Jimin, his cock still buried deep inside Jimin while he snuggled his face in the crook of his neck.
“Fuck baby. I love you so much.” Yoongi mumbled, panting heavily. His body went rigid as soon as he realised what he said. He pulled back immediately. “I-I’m so sorry. I didn’t..”
“Shush.” Jimin placed his index finger on his lips, shushing him. “I love you too hyung, so fucking much.”
“For real?”
“For real.” Jimin nodded.
Yoongi leaned down to capture Jimin’s lips between his, kissing him slowly yet passionately.
“So.” Jimin carded his fingers in Yoongi’s hair. “You will accept the job?”
“Do I have a choice?” Yoongi chuckled.
“Not really. I want my boyfriend close to me always.”
“Boyfriend huh?” Yoongi smirked.
“Yeah only if you want.”
“Well what could be better than being your own boyfriend’s photographer.” Yoongi wiggled his eyebrows, hiding back his giggles.
“Well let me guess.” Jimin said. “Being music producer for your boyfriend?”
“What?” Yoongi gasped.
“Yes. I sent your file to Seokjin hyung. He loved it so I guess you’ll be working on my next album, Min Pdnim.” Jimin said, kissing the tip of his nose.
Yoongi was quiet, tears brimming up in his eyes. “I love you so much, so fucking much Jiminie.”
“I love you too Yoongi hyung.”
