The radio tower stumbled with him, as if mocking his failure to save himself the only time it mattered most.

He was tired. He was exhausted. He wanted to hurt everyone and cry himself to sleep. Dustin hated the military, El was dead, and they still took everyone in. Now, he was away from Steve, and he felt physically ill. He wanted to throw up. He wondered if throwing up on the interviewer would convince them to let him see Steve. The room they were stuck in was bleak, small, gray, and closing in on him. Dustin sat across from a man in military attire, a recorder in front of him, sitting on the metal table. They’d been sitting here for what felt like days, though in reality it was most likely hours. Two more men with weapons guarded the door, standing there, blank faces. Dustin wished they’d drop dead, because he wanted out.
The interviewer sighed. Dustin had forgotten the man’s name and didn’t care to remember it. “Can you describe in more detail what happened?”

Summary
Today was supposed to be good.
Steve was supposed to be having one of the first good days in a sea of bad days. Robin was over; his fear of his parents arriving home randomly was gone due to the quarantine. They had a movie set up, had made food such as popcorn, and were ready to calm down after a month of panic, fear, grief, and a cacophony of other horrible feelings.
But today was not working out.

or; Steve has an epilepsy, chronic pain, and is kind of going through a lot. Robin witnesses his first seizure, and calls Hopper to help get him help. Steve has a quite gruesome hallucination and dream of Eddie's dead body being reanimated and blaming him.TW: very slight suicidal ideation, graphic depictions of violence, gore, etc. and descriptions of seizures, chronic pain, and such.
Please know there's a slight possibility of the characters being OOC, I struggle with writing characters in character and haven't written fanfics in a while, but I hope it's still enjoyable!! My brain is flooded with Steddie again, so get ready for more.

Summary
When the uptight FBI Agent Viktor is put on a case about the assassination of an official who's tied to a project the Government is actively trying to cover up, he doesn't expect much more than having to find a way to take all pressure off the Bureau and other officials and higher-ups. Unfortunately, he runs into an old friend and is forced to work with someone he can no longer stand to figure out what's really happening beneath the web of lies spun by the government.
When the alcoholic and suicidal Private Investigator Jason has a client wanting him to dig deeper into the most recent assassination of an official, he doesn't expect to run into the man who ruined his life and left him for dead. He's very against working with Viktor, but knows he has no choice if he wants to uncover the truth of everything being hidden from the public.

Or, in a world set far in the future, with technology we could never imagine and dragons being owned as pets and used as weapons, a secret the corrupt government has done its very best to keep hidden starts to unravel as two men, an experiment, and a woman all try to reach their own goal.

“Jace!” cried the brown-haired boy, grinning sunnily at Jason. “You made it, finally!”
Jason returned the kid’s stare with far less enthusiasm and far more turmoil, though he attempted to conceal it. Wispy brows, shaggy hair, a spattering of freckles spread from cheek to cheek, and a roundness to his nose and jawline that would sharpen with age.
“… Peter?” he said cautiously and was rewarded with another toothy grin.
“Hi! You’re super tall now!”
Dick snorted and Jason shot him a glare. But he couldn’t keep his eyes away from itty bitty Petey for very long. It took the Bitsy nickname to a whole new level.
“I’ve always been tall,” he reminded Peter. “It’s just you’re even smaller than usual.”
On a routine patrol, Spider-Man and Spoiler are caught out by a new kid on the block. Now there are two more new kids on the block.
Jason is Not Pleased™️ with this development.

Taken into the League of Assassins for his powers, Peter Parker becomes the guard dog for their precious princeling. For a time, at least.
