Summary
When the Master of Laketown forces Bard to go into the Lonely Mountain, this wasn't what Bard had expected or feared. Bard discovers that looking into a dragon's eyes is never a great idea, but occasionally you can get away with it. Thranduil discovers that although the situation of the Woodland Realm is desperate, he is, after all, not entirely without friends.
