Bio

I like to believe that I grew up during the perfect time to enjoy Star Wars. When I was a kid, maybe 3 or 4, I would watch the Original Trilogy over and over. My favorite, of course, has ALWAYS been Empire. Then, when the Prequels came out in the early 2000’s, I was the perfect age to fully enjoy my first theatrical Star Wars experience. I really believe that is why I don’t hate the films as much as some of the older fans. I was young enough to love them for what they were. And now, I always get nostalgic when I rewatch.

And here we are, almost 20 years later. The Sequel Trilogy, even with its faults, have brought to life amazing new characters and stories for me to love all over again. As an adult, I have thoroughly enjoyed the debates and discourse surrounding the Trilogy. No matter my personal feelings for the ending, I can say I’m honestly thrilled for all the new fans the Sequels have created.

With all that being said, this is a bit of a first for me. I am an author and journalist by trade, but I've never delved too deeply into writing my own fan fiction. I find it easier to create my own worlds than to work within the confines of someone else’s. But, sometimes you have an itch that you just have to scratch. So, I’ve decided to branch out into the wonderful world of Reylo fanfiction. I’ve been a proud Reylo since TFA, and that’s not going to change anytime soon. And at this point, it doesn’t matter what anyone says. Canon sinks ships!

Anyway, my goal is to post stories that I have enjoyed writing and that I hope you enjoy reading. Please be gentle, but I would love to hear any of your thoughts.
