    Sometimes I write thousands of words about plotlines and AUs and scene fill-ins that I will not write a full novel about. So if you want to hear about plotlines, AUs, and scene fill-ins for Bionicle, centered around our three infamous Toa teams (plus Takanuva, and especially Kopaka, my favorite), you are welcome to join in for such novelties as...

    1: Tahu leaves to ask Artakha for help with Marendar. Vakama doesn't know how that led to him and his entire team suddenly becoming Toa again.
    2: Kopaka sustains a serious head injury while on a mission with Jaller, Takanuva, and Hahli. This would be bad enough news on its own, but he's also decided not to tell anyone he's lost his memory completely.
    3. After Spherus Magna, Lewa comes ingloriously home, with only one Matoran.
    4: Jaller and Takanuva reunite as Toa for the first time and try to reckon with everything they've been through, especially the loss of Matoro.
    5: Takanuva loses the fight to his shadow self in Karda Nui, and loses himself with it. Kopaka doesn't try to stop him, but he does try to bring him home.

    A knock is considerate, in a way a commanding officer would not be. A knock he could say “no” to, or simply ignore– it allows him the grace to choose whether he wishes to speak to his brothers or not. It’s probably not a commanding officer, then, and almost certainly not an emergency.

    It also means he can guess who’s outside.
