How long have you been using AO3? For around 8 years now but I only got my first account recently

Who is Esmé? Esmé is the replacement I made for Y/N, she's kind of like hatsume miku in the way that every Esmé is cannon. Esmé is a character I originally made to relate to especially since most Y/Ns are difficult for me to see as myself due to things like behaviour or the lives they lead. I normally see Y/Ns as American or British but since I'm Irish I decided to make Esmé Irish which also makes her relatable. Here's some examples of where I can't see Y/N as relatable but Esmé is: normally Y/N is described being extroverted but Esmé is a mix of both, Y/N is also normally shown to live without any health issues but Esmé doesn't. Esmé has collapsing fits, Esmé has autism, Esmé can understand the life I live and it makes her feel more real to me. I know not everyone can relate to Esmé but knowing that I relate to her makes me feel better. Of course as I said earlier, Esmé can change in different ways just like Guinevere from the KOG or Hatsume miku. Esmé isn't designed to be an exact copy of me but she's designed to be relatable.
