“Like how the track feels or the tyres or if the suspension starts to feel off?” Lando lists off. “Or we can see what some of the other cars are doing that the cameras don’t pick up. We can help make decisions that you can’t see. Because we feel them. Before your little computer does.”
“If that’s true,” Oscar starts, drawing out the words in that stupid Australian accent of his. “Then why are you always asking Will for help on the radio?”
Lando’s actually speechless for a moment.
Fuck this guy, Lando thinks, glaring at Oscar.

Summary

Dicen que Lando es feo y da miedo, pero Franco nunca le ha tenido miedo al corpulento dueño del pub. El gran alfa tiene cicatrices en la cara, pero ¿y qué? Debió de sufrir mucho alguna vez, el pobre. Cuando la nieve cubre Dalton City y Franco se da cuenta de que está a solo unos días de su primer celo, sus pies lo llevan solos al pub. Lando es el único alfa en quien Franco confía para que no le haga daño. Y si tuviera que elegir entre morir congelado o que lo maltraten, Franco preferiría ofrecerse a Lando.

Finally, he looked at Lando. He should have never let him in ,never opened up to him. It was all his fault.
“So it really was you. You went there by yourself…” Oscar said, hurt lacing his voice.
His expression hardened.
“Don’t show me your face again. Not if…not if you want the red card.”
“Oscar, I can explain. It wasn’t my fault,” Lando said desperately, trying to pull Oscar back into his explanation.
“Oh, I know it wasn’t ba- Lando. It was my fault. I should have never spoken to filth like you.”
With that, Oscar turned and walked out.
