Hi. I've been lurking around, leaving anonymous comments, for years; first back on ffnet - years ago (where I did write a few shitty fics on an old no longer existing account, eons ago... one MurakixOriya (Yamimatsu), the other KuroxFai (TRC) and, I think, a couple of Soukyuu no Fafner SouKazu-themed drabbles?) - then here. I'm kind of planning to actually write something, too, I guess...
So I needed a keeper account.
...Or that was the idea. I've had this account for
2,5uhalmost seven yearsok over a decade, so far nothing lol. ETA 2025: ok it's been 12 years, let's face it I will never write a single word. Still here as a reader though, so yeah.Anyway. I am an experienced slash shipper, with a fanfic addiction dating back over two decades. I think the very first fic I ever read might have been related to PotC? Then I quickly ventured into Soukyuu no Fafner, where I was like... woah, look, they're writing these characters as a couple. I was there for their amazing FRIENDSHIP but stumbled upon SHIPPING and I--- never looked back.
I've outgrown some shows/fandoms over the years, but some ships will always stay with me. The Big 5 are destiel, thilbo, hannigram, merthur and snarry. But we're also talking johnlock, malec, cherik, frostiron, janto, grindeldore, ianthony, hilson, wolfstar, cooper/truman, michael/KITT, diego/felipe (do these even have a ship names?), aralas, frowise, merpip, durincest, sparrington, chanoey, dalaric, nuke, chrolli, valoris, hookfire... and like... sooo many anime slash pairings over the years.
