Once upon a time, I stopped writing for twenty years, but then the tap turned on and most days I can't stop. That dry spell was far too long. When lightning storms my mind, sleep eludes me as fingers twitch, dancing over the keyboard hoping that they type what I mean and not what so often ends up on paper. Duplication and homophones litter their way through my work. When I can sleep, my imagination is a wild place where thoughts or entire stories fall into place, and when I wake, it is a race to set those ideas down before entire chapters and characters go missing.
