July 2022 Update: Whew. I really didn't think two years were going to go by without touching my WIP but here we are. I've been putting this off for ages in the hopes my muse would spark to life again but the reality is, it just isn't. Not only has there been a LOT going on in my life that requires all my energy and attention, but I've honestly fallen out of the Good Omens fandom. Which has made trying to write the next chapters pretty difficult.
So as much as I hate doing this, both my WIPs will be going on hiatus. I still have my detailed outline. I have a skeleton of chapter 7, a finished chapter of Hourglass and another one started. And I really do want to come back and finish Take Flight someday, but only if I know the quality and passion that I had for it before will be there. So, instead of going chapter by chapter like I have been, I won't go back to posting for either WIP until everything is completed. That way, you my readers aren't waiting ages between updates, and it's less stress for me.
I am so sorry for the disappointing news, and I want to thank everyone who has written such lovely and encouraging comments, especially lately. I can't say when I'll be back posting for this fandom (maybe season 2 will rejig my interest in Good Omens) but I really hope it's sooner rather than later. Thank you!
