    “Oh,” Eddie says, then forces out a laugh he hopes sounds casual. Buck’s eyes are wide, honest, like he’s desperate for Eddie to be reassured by this admission, to believe him. And how much clearer could he be? He’s not in love with Eddie. That’s fine. Eddie never expected him to be. His now empty beer bottle hits the counter too loudly, “No, of course not.”

    Buck a toujours été une déception depuis sa naissance. Oméga sans loup, il cache sa vraie nature depuis toujours. Désespéré d'avoir une vie normale, il prend une décision aussi radicale que dangereuse. Quand Eddie, puissant alpha de Los Angeles, reçoit un appel de l'hopital, il fonce et découvre plus que son meilleur ami dans ce lit d'hopital. Son loup a enfin trouvé son compagnon, mais Buck n'a pas la réaction à laquelle il s'attendait et il doit à présent l'aider à comprendre ce monde dont il ignore tout.
