Summary
Lucifer survived the Fall a second time, but he did not come back unchanged.
With the reintegration complete and the Demiurge circuit rethreaded between him and Michael, Lucifer returns from the brink carrying more mercy, more power, and more volatility than the Silver City is prepared to tolerate.
But as Earth fractures, Hell stirs, and the machinery beneath the Silver City’s perfect order begins to reveal itself, Lucifer and Michael must learn whether the force that once enabled Creation can be chosen without becoming a weapon.

Crowley felt gentle fingers run over wings, carefully preening his already meticulous down feathers before carding tenderly through his primaries. Azriphale hummed tunelessly behind him, offering comfort as Crowley continued to shudder and twitch uncontrollably.
“What are we going to do?” he whispered, unable to disguise the overwhelming dread threatening to shatter his carefully constructed self-control.
“Hush love,” his angel whispered, pressing a light kiss against the back of his neck. “I have you.”
“He’s looking for me,” Crowley whispered, unable to keep the horror from his voice despite how dearly he wished to spare Azriphale. “I can’t hide from him forever. No one can.”

Summary
No one in Los Angeles was wildly fond of the Goddess Asherah, and She seemingly felt the same way about everyone around Her with the exception of Her two Earthbound sons, Lucifer and Amenadiel. After inadvertently setting into motion the eventual grievous self-injury of Her younger twin son, however, She sobers to reality and recognizes what She has to do to protect Her now three Los Angeles-based children who have run afoul of their Father, knowingly or not.
As She works out how best to shield Her sons, a largely mystified Michael tries to reconcile with his vacillating twin while also attempting to determine how the Heavenly Host plays into their reunion as Lucifer's social network considers how Michael will be integrated into their community, if at all.
