By the way, I notice that only Makomo mentioned about Rengoku's death in Infinity Train, but Sabito does not? Another Hashira at the train mission in his timeline?

Makomo's mention of Rengoku's death was mostly because that part was written from her POV, so there's the chance that it also happened in Sabito's timeline. (Edit: just reread that part, they mostly split which event each would talk about so that's why only Makomo talked about it and why only Sabito talked about the attack to the Swordsmiths village, if they keep things vague/mention surnames instead of full names it means there's likely a slight change from who was present in said event during their timelines)
Yup! I've seen some stories where they are more flexible with the number of active Hashiras allowed, so I'm taking the same liberties here. Minor spoiler/fact, the Tokito twins and our current water triad are not the only instance of twin/triad Hashiras ;)
