Intro:
My notes on essential formatting (remove the spaces):
- Italics are < i >blah< / i >
- Bold is < b >blah< / b >
- Underline is < u >blah< / u >
-
Strikethroughis < s >blah< / s >- Yes, you
can use morethan oneat the sametime.< i >Yes < b > you < s >can use more< /i > than one< /b > at the< /u > same< /s > time.
- < p > < / p > are at the beginning and end (respectively) of every paragraph. It separates different paragraphs so that after posting, it doesn't become one big paragraph. If it still becomes one big paragraph somehow, put < p >< / p > without anything between to signal that this empty line is its own paragraph. This should keep it from becoming an unholy mash of text. This is a crucial step if using blockquotes.
blah blah blah paragraph blah blah blah
< p >< / p >
blah blah blah paragraph blah blah blah- the command for the indent line thingy I've been using above is:
< blockquote >'insert text here< /blockquote >Hope this helps someone! I had been experimenting and learning through trial and error before finding guides, so my way might not be the simplest or most efficient.
