“Hell, no. Why would I?”
“And nothing happened with Garzonas…”
“Who the hell is Garzonas?”
“Jason, this is important! How old are you?”
He blinked at the apparent non sequitur, “I’m thirteen…”
“Holy shit!”
(After being killed by Ra's, Tim wakes up as his ten-year-old self, and has one goal: to prevent Jason's death. Too bad for him, his brothers have a plan too.)

Summary
"Can you fly?" Bruce grunted as he dragged him away, mascara running down his face.
"No," he said with difficulty, his head still feeling heavy as a brick, "I should have known something was wrong as soon as I realized the crates were made of lead. Two Faces was prepared for me!"
"Don't give yourself too much credit; a lot of things are lined in lead to evade inspection at the docks," Bruce replied, ducking into an alley. He looked out, and from the grimace he made, their pursuers must be very close.
Clark gasped, "If I could use my powers, I could get us out of here now."
"But you can't, so we'll have to improvise..."
(With Clark poisoned by kryptonite and goons hot on their heels, Bruce plans to apply an old lesson he learned from one of his masters. Clark is not prepared, at all!)

Bruce turned around immediately. There was a sheet suspended in mid-air, floating as if there was a breeze pushing it, even though the windows were all closed.
He had to thank the constant half-light at the manor and the distance that did not make Gordon see well that it was not a floating sheet, but a man wrapped in a sheet, blissfully asleep and unaware of the chaos he was causing.
Clark had warned him about some of his sleep problems.
Bruce had to come up with a story on the fly for the commissioner, and quickly.
"My house is haunted," Bruce quietly told the commissioner, without batting an eyelid.

Bruce never wanted to deal with the gods, whatever pantheon they belonged to.
Gotham had enough problems without adding rancorous gods and mythological monsters into the mix.

"Bruce? Clark?"
The two were both leaning against the kitchen counter, with Bruce clinging to the other like a monkey, keeping his arms around his neck, and they looked very messy. Bruce moved Clark roughly, and his face was red as if after a long effort.
He must have just returned from patrol. Had he also asked for Superman's help?
Bruce coughed, "Tim. What are you doing up at this hour?"
"I couldn't sleep. What were you guys doing?"
"Alien Twister!" Clark exclaimed, and Bruce ran a hand over his face.
