Summary
The first time they're separated it's by Dan, and it's relatively easy. Oh, it hurts. No doubt about that. But they'd only just bonded and that just barely on the surface level. Even with a perfect match it takes time and effort to make something that lasts, and while Venom had touched every cell in Eddie's body by that point it hadn't yet settled into his bones, let alone had Eddie reach back.
Getting half your brain, body, and soul torn out sucks, and it gets worse the longer Eddie and V are together.

Summary
After the events of "King in Black", Peter Parker has just about had it with everything. He's sick of symbiotes, he's sick of self-declared gods and cosmic nonsense, and perhaps above all, he's sick of Venom.
But when his old arch-foe casually drops the fact that Flash Thompson, the former Agent Anti-Venom, formerly dead, is in fact alive again, Spider-Man doesn't believe it. At least, not until Flash is directly in his face.

Summary
After Chthon is defeated and Carnage hauled away back to the US, the rest of the Anti-Carnage Task Force has a layover before they can get 16-year-old Jubulile van Scotter - unexpected hero of the operation, no less - back to her hometown. But while they're waiting to get away from the Land Down Under, Jubulile discovers a red-and-blue stowaway in her bag.
In any case, it's an opportunity for them to reconnect outside of life and death situations, and for Jubulile and Toxin to see what they can be together.
