You still get jittery whenever you lose consciousness—whether that’s sleeping or passing out because you pushed yourself too hard (much to your family’s chagrin)—and sometimes you just can’t do it. So instead of bothering Isabeau with your constant fidgeting, you rise from your shared bed (still, even after all this time, the five of you tend to sleep in only three beds), don your cloak to combat the chill of early autumn, and exit your rooms to sit on the balcony.
