The Whitebeard Pirates went on a quest to find the chest and they did.
There is no way to express how shocked and scared they were to see a heart that was still beating.
Still they took it away and made their way to Heiwa Island in peace.
They did not know what they had unleashed.
The pirates reached Heiwa Island without much trouble and quickly each went to sleep.
The next day was when they all met. The Yonkō were the only ones in the room. The Captains were seated with their Vice-Captains behind them.
"Something to report?" Shanks asked bored.
"Besides that Kaido didn't come, yoi?" Marco replied in the same way.
"He never comes. And do you want to join my crew?" Shanks asked, earning a bad look from the Phoenix.
"I must say something." Whitebeard said, earning bored looks. "I found the Dead Man's Chest along with the Five Pieces of Calypso."
Gasps could be heard from everyone there except the two Whitebeard Pirates. However, two there were totally shocked.
"You-you found them? You're sure?" Luffy asked, earning looks.
"Yes."
"And-And what are you going to do?" Luffy asked once more.
"Free Calypso." Said the giant firmly.
Luffy collapsed in the chair surprised and with a smile.
"Luffy?" Shanks asked confused. But Luffy ignored him.
"When?" Luffy asked anxiously.
"We must find Calypso first." Marco replied.
"No, it is not necessary. You guys get everything ready, I'll bring Calypso." Luffy said with a smile as he got up from his chair. "Zoro, let's go."
Both Mugiwara left leaving everyone in silence.
Except Teach.
Teach was still in shock. So shocked that he didn't register the conversation.
Back on his ship, Teach called his Vice-Captain.
"While they free Calypso, send someone to take the chest, to make sure the heart is inside."
Only the Yonkō crew were present. Marco had the five pieces in a black pot.
On the other hand, Teach's pirate had found the chest with the heart and that chest was in the arms of the Vice-Captain, who at the same time was hidden enough so that they could see him and not the chest.
"And Calypso?" Izo asked not seeing someone with Luffy. Luffy just gave him a mischievous smile that very few seemed to understand.
"Marco, please." Luffy asked. But Marco was shocked to find out what was happening.
Luffy was...
"Calypso, I release you from your bonds." Said Marco. But nothing happened. "Ah?"
Luffy pursed his lips.
"You're doing it wrong." Shanks said. They all looked at him. "You're doing it wrong."
Shanks approached Luffy and whispered in his ear with a voice filled with fatherly affection.
"Calypso, I release you from your bonds."
The pot caught fire and Luffy was drugged with happiness and smelled the smoke of freedom.
Suddenly, the sea was louder. Luffy was surrounded by water as his hair grew to his waist and his skin glowed with something divine. Everyone could feel an uncontrollable and wild aura coming from Luffy. Luffy looks at his hands and smiles feeling his freedom. He starts laughing non-stop as water begins to form on his fingers.
And suddenly, his Akuma no Mi appears in his hands. Luffy smiles with some sadness, he was going to miss it. He walks over to Shanks and leaves her in his hands.
"Thank you for that, your feelings were very true. I give you back what I once ate." He smiled.
"Ca-Calypso." He heard.
Luffy's smile fell and he turned.
"Davy... although I should call you Teach."
