Chapter Text
For the next four straight days, Felix and Hyunjin spent all of their free time together. They couldn’t get enough of each other - to their roommates’ unending chagrin. They had taken turns swapping whose apartment they stayed at, but at some point they knew they'd have to start doing things other than each other in their spare time again. Felix had asked Hyunjin to pick him up from work instead of having Minho do it like usual as they drove to Tuesday night game night that week. They held hands in the car, and Hyunjin loved the normalcy of it all. Picking Felix up from work, driving him around… It was all so… domestic. It made Hyunjin’s heart flutter.
“You know, last month when you took me home,” Felix started, face blushing. “when you put your arm across the back of my seat to back out?”
“Yes?” Hyunjin frowned, flicking on his turn signal as he slowed. “What about it?”
“It was really hot. Like, really hot. I thought you should know”
“Oh, I see. Is that what gets you going?” Hyunjin teased, squeezing Felix’s hand twice in succession. “I’ll take note.”
“Oh shut up,” Felix muttered.
“Hey. Don't start with that, you brought it up.”
“Well yeah. Because I'm thinking about it. Because you look really hot while driving.” Felix lifted their twined hands to his mouth, and kissed the back of Hyunjin's. He peppered it with kisses, making small ‘mwah’ noises to go along with each kiss.
“Felix.”
“Hm?” Felix asked, stopping his assault and placing their joined hands in his lap at the top of his thigh.
“I’m going to ask you once very politely to please not get me hard before we go hang out with our friends for five hours.”
“What, you don't want to fuck me in Jisung’s bathroom?” Felix faked a pout, turning to Hyunjin with a dramatically lowered bottom lip. He looked up at Hyunjin through his lashes.
“That is a very loaded question. Yes to fucking you, no to Jisung’s bathroom, and a secondary no because there's not a shot in hell we don't get caught if we do that.” Hyunjin said, his grip on the steering wheel tightening.
“What I’m hearing is that you would do it if you thought we wouldn’t get caught.”
“I said no to Jisung’s bathroom.”
“Bathrooms in general a no for you? Or just Jisung’s?” asked Felix, teasing. “Because I can think of some pretty inventive things you can do in bathrooms so long as you keep quiet…”
“Thanks for the mental image.”
Felix laughed as they pulled up to Jisung’s house. Minho’s car was already in the driveway, but they had beat the rest of the group there. They checked the time to see that they were technically ten minutes early, which explained it. Chan and Jeongin would be here soon. The other two were entirely unpredictable. Hyunjin took a second in the car to collect himself before the two of them got out and walked up to Jisung’s door. Felix led the way to the door and knocked, stepping back to lean against Hyunjin.
Hyunjin wrapped his arms around Felix’s waist and perched his head on his shoulder while they waited. After two minutes of radio silence, Felix knocked again, harder.
Nothing.
So, he rang the doorbell. Four times in a row. They heard a loud thud, a quiet swear, and about thirty seconds later, the door opened to a mildly disheveled Jisung. He ran a hand through his hair as he opened the door.
“Hey guys! Sorry, lost track of time. Minho-hyung and I were just-”
“I don't want to know,” Hyunjin said, holding up a hand.
“We were cooking, oh my god.” Jisung rolled his eyes.
“Sure you were,” Felix beamed, as they stepped inside. Jisung closed the door behind them, and shrugged his shirt to lay better on his shoulders. They walked over to the kitchen where Minho was humming while stirring something in a pan. He looked more put together than Jisung did, but there was a slight flush to his neck that suggested he had been doing something else a minute beforehand.
They took seats at the island on two stools, scooting so that they could sit shoulder to shoulder. Hyunjin still didn't buy that these two had only been cooking, but he planned to let it go. Jisung started humming along with Minho, wrapping himself around the older boy.
“What are you making?” asked Felix, straightening his back in his seat to try to catch a glimpse of what was in the pan. He was curious, but he wasn’t willing to get too close to the pair in their current state.
“Japchae,” Minho says “I felt like doing a little bit more this week. Besides, some congratulations are in order.” Minho looked up then, to the two of them.
“Oh my god, Minho! Did Jisung finally knock you up?” Hyunjin said mockingly, and Felix started cackling next to him, leaning his hand onto Hyunjin’s thigh to keep him upright on the stool. Jisung flushed bright red, and Minho laughed, leaning back into him.
“I- That isn’t- You-” Jisung was trying hard to put together a reply, but Hyunjin had really flustered him. “That's not biologically possible!” was the response he landed on. The exclamation had Hyunjin laughing, clapping his hands together.
“Does it stop you from trying?” Felix said casually, having gained his composure for the most part.
Jisung opted not to reply, instead burying his face in the middle of Minho’s back. Minho was laughing harder now.
“I meant you two,” Minho finally said, gasping for air. “but that was pretty good.”
“You're congratulating us for…?” Hyunjin trailed. They had had an idea that this was coming, but he figured it would be more fun to be obtuse.
“Figuring your shit out. Removing your heads from your asses. Whatever you want to call it…” he waved the spatula in his hand in their direction. “And, statistically: fucking. Though you never did confirm that in the group chat.”
“Because it isn't your business,” Felix smiled innocently.
“Oh you definitely did, and it definitely is.” Jisung smiled. “But if you don't want to confirm it, that's fine. I asked Seungmin.”
“Seungmin went to Chan’s that day,” Hyunjin supplied.
“Seungmin has not been at Chan’s for the past four straight days, though.” Jisung replied, and Felix blushed then. Hyunjin scratched the back of his neck. He opened his mouth to say something back - though he wasn’t sure what - and was spared from answering by a knock on the door.
Hyunjin leaped up. “I'll get it,” he said, already walking over. He swung the door open to find not just Chan and Jeongin, but also Changbin and Seungmin waiting. “Perfect timing guys, come on in.” he said, standing to the side.

“I can’t believe we agreed to play this game in the first place,” groaned Felix, shoving his face into Hyunjin’s shoulder. Truly, it was an oversight on their part. Hyunjin thought to himself that he should have been more suspicious when a group of 6 other dudes all wanted to play Never Have I Ever at a weekly hang out, but he had been too busy staring at Felix’s smile to pay much attention to what was being suggested at the time.
“But you did agree! So it stands. We’re waiting for your answer,” mused Minho. He cocked his head to the side, staring at the two of them and furrowing his brow before continuing. “It’s a simple game. One person says ‘never have I ever’ followed by something that they have never done, and if you’ve done it, you put your finger down.”
“Right, but the questions so far have been ‘never have I ever bottomed’ followed by ‘never have I ever topped Hwang Hyunjin’ and I guess we’re really good at confusing you guys because I think ‘never have I ever fucked Lee Felix on a Friday night’ is about as specific as you can possibly get trying to pry into our allegedly suggested activities in the form of a never have I ever question.” Hyunjin glared at the group.
Felix’s face was bright red. They hadn’t planned to hide what was going on between them from their friends, it was pretty obvious after everything, but this was getting excessive. Hyunjin was happy to tell them, and wanted to tell them. On that, he and Felix had agreed. They had also agreed that it would be funny to antagonize the group with it just a little bit. But Hyunjin had about had it. Points for creativity, but he needed to put it to a stop.
“It’s just the game,” shrugged Seungmin. It had been his question, and it gave Hyunjin an idea.
“Fine, if it’s just the game…” Hyunjin put a second finger down.
“I KNEW IT!” Jisung yelled.
“I also knew it, but I wanted to see you admit it,” Seungmin said, a smug look on his face.
“My turn,” Hyunjin said, and a wicked grin split his face. “Never have I ever gone down on Kim Seungmin or Seo Changbin.” he met Seungmin’s gaze as he said Changbin’s name, and watched the self-satisfied smirk slide right off his face. Hyunjin felt Felix shaking with laughter from where he was still nestled into Hyunjin’s shoulder.
Seungmin looked like he was going to kill Hyunjin. Changbin’s jaw was on the floor. Jisung’s mouth was dropped wide open as he pointed at the pair, laughing in disbelief, and everyone else was trying (and failing) to hold in their laughter.
“Oh my god,” Jisung said between hysterical giggles. “You shut Seungmin up for the first time in eight years!”
Anyone who wasn’t already laughing lost it. Except Seungmin. Seungmin started to get up, having rolled up the empty paper plate on the floor by him in an attempt to use it to bludgeon Hyunjin to death. Changbin didn’t let him get that far, pulling the tall boy into his lap.
“To be clear,” Changbin said. “I did put down a finger. You just can’t see it.” he grinned at the group, and Seungmin smacked him with the rolled up paper plate. Hyunjin fell over backwards from laughing, taking Felix down with him since he had still been wrapped around him. They laid on the floor, laughing with their friends, and caught each other’s gaze. Nothing could be more perfect than this. Felix broke the eye contact first, opting to readjust his head against Hyunjin’s chest. Hyunjin kissed the top of his head with a smile. They laid there and watched as Changbin pinned Seungmin down to the ground.
“Get off me!” Seungmin exclaimed, trying his hardest to fight off the stronger boy.
“Not until you promise not to hit Hyunjin,” Changbin said smoothly. You would never know just from the sound of it that he was holding a struggling man down.
“Guys, help me,” Seungmin yelped. “He’s a brute! This is unfair. I did nothing to deserve this!” Both of his hands were pinned next to his head, and his long legs were kicking helplessly from where Changbin was holding him down with a leg.
“You’re right where you want to be,” Felix replied, and while Seungmin looked outraged, and the group laughed, only Hyunjin caught Felix’s quieter remark. “Just like I am.”
Hyunjin squeezed Felix against him. “Me too, Jagiya.”
