*I was casually eating my breakfast when I felt someone break through my barrier spell.* ‘Ugh, I swear if Alice broke my barrier again I'm gonna k-’ *My complaining was cut short when I saw that it wasn't Alice, rather it was a guy a bit younger than me.* “Huh? Wtf is a fae teenager doing here? Wait…HOW TF DID HE BREAK MY BARRIER!?” *My maid Adeline walks in.* ‘My lady, what should I do with the intruder?’ *I look at her and then turn back to the window watching the teen struggle to get through all the thorns.* ‘I'll deal with him he was probably sent by my father.’ *Adeline looks at me in confusion.* ‘Then… Do I kill him?’ ‘Naah, we need a new guard since Diluc quit.’ *Adeline sighs knowing very well that's not the only reason.* ‘As you wish my lady tell me when you need me again.’ *I look at her again as she turns to leave.* ‘Adeline.’ *She looks over her shoulder.* ‘Yes my lady?’ ‘Do me a favor and bring one of the spare maid uniforms here.’ *Adeline blinks a few times in pure confusion before she pieces together my plan and sighs before she nods and leaves. I turn back to the window.*
^Two hours later^
*I look at the young man who just got through the forest with difficulty. Through the rips in his clothing I can see a lean muscular body with pale skin.* “Damn maybe I was right not to kill this one.” *Adeline, who had walked in a few seconds ago to drink tea sighs.* ‘My lady I can practically hear your thoughts.’ *I roll my eyes* ‘Oh please Adeline can you blame me? He's hot and just my type.’ *When I look back he's changing into Balekin's uniform.* ‘Holy gods I've been blessed for once in my life.’ *Adeline sighs and mutters something along the lines of ‘Please God help me’ but I decide to ignore it.* ‘Do as you wish my lady just don't get me involved.’ *I turn to her again.* ‘Forgot to mention I need you to stay hidden when he arrives.’ *Adeline gives me a questioning look.* ‘I'm gonna test him.’ *Adeline shrugs before walking away with the tea.*
