Chapter 2: Scéal

Chapter Text

On her first day on campus, Lena's schedule was packed to the brim. Rushing out of the mess hall, she almost collided with the door, but someone held it open just in time. She looked up, briefly locking eyes with a woman whose simple gesture of kindness was accentuated by an undeniable charisma. For a moment, Lena was caught off guard, struck by the woman’s effortless charm.

Still replaying the encounter in her mind, Lena hurried to the designated meeting spot where she had arranged to catch up with Jess during their break. She found Jess already there, scrolling through her phone.

"Jess, I just had the most surreal encounter," Lena blurted out as she approached, her mind still on the woman from the mess hall. "She was holding the door, and I... God, she was just stunning."

Jess looked up, amusement dancing in her eyes. "On your first day, and you're already smitten? Why didn't you introduce yourself? Missed your chance at a campus romance on day one?"

Lena sighed, a smile tugging at her lips. "I was late, and honestly, completely distracted. She had this aura about her, Jess. It was like everyone else faded into the background."

Jess teased, "Sounds like someone made quite the impression. Maybe you'll run into her again."

Lena arrived early for her next lecture, choosing a spot just outside the hall to review her notes one last time. The area was a popular gathering place, often bustling with students chatting or cramming in some last-minute studying.

As she flipped through her notes, a burst of laughter caught her attention. Lena glanced up to see a group of women nearby, their lively conversation revolving around soccer practice. Among them was a tall blonde, effortlessly tossing a soccer ball from hand to hand. Her laughter was infectious, ringing out freely, drawing in those around her.

Lena found herself watching the group, particularly captivated by the blonde woman. There was an ease about her, a natural charisma that seemed to light up the space. Lena observed how her presence seemed to uplift the entire group, her laughter a melody that resonated in the busy corridor.

For a moment, Lena's focus on her notes wavered, lost in the effortless joy emanating from the group. The realization that this was the same woman from the mess hall dawned on her, reigniting the sense of intrigue she felt on her first day. Mesmerized, Lena continued to watch until the group, with their playful banter and shared smiles, eventually moved on towards their practice, leaving Lena with a lingering sense of fascination.

As Jess navigated the car through the winding roads back to the manor, she couldn't help but notice Lena's restless energy, a stark contrast to her usual composed demeanor.

"So, what's got you buzzing?" Jess asked, a curious smile playing on her lips.

Lena turned towards her, eyes sparkling with excitement. "I saw her again, Jess. The woman from the first day, and then outside my lecture hall. She's... she's something else."

Jess raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "And?"

Lena sighed, a mix of frustration and eagerness in her voice. "She's rarely ever alone. Always in the middle of a conversation or surrounded by people. How am I supposed to just walk up and start talking to someone who's almost always in the middle of something?"

Jess chuckled, her eyes still on the road. "You’re Lena Luthor, you’ll figure it out. Besides, sometimes the right moment just presents itself. Just be ready when it does."

Lena gazed out the window, her mind replaying the day’s encounter. Jess’s words offered comfort, but the challenge of initiating a conversation with the captivating woman loomed large in her thoughts.

🝰

In the stylish ambiance of Umami Mingle, Lena and Jess sat at a table bathed in soft light, surrounded by the tantalizing aromas of fusion cuisine. They were taking a well-deserved break, immersed in the restaurant's chic and relaxed vibe.

Nibbling on truffle-infused edamame, Jess gave Lena a mischievous glance. "So, it's been weeks. Are you ever going to talk to this mysterious blonde, or are you just going to keep admiring her from afar?"

Lena sipped her ginger zen martini, a wistful look crossing her face. "I'm working on it, Jess. I just haven’t found the right moment yet."

Jess chuckled, her eyes twinkling with humor. "Sure, sure. And here I was thinking she might just be a figment of your overworked, sleep-deprived brain."

Lena laughed, shaking her head. "Hey, my sanity might be hanging by a thread, but she's very much real."

🝰

Lena burst into the manor, her face lit up with discovery. "Jess! I got her name – it's Kara Danvers!"

"Kara Danvers? Let's see who she is," Jess said, pulling up the university directory on her laptop. Moments later, a profile appeared. "Oh, Lena, check this out. She's on the soccer team. Wait, she's not just on the team; she's their star player!"

Jess found a video labeled 'Season Highlights' and clicked play. The screen filled with clips of Kara in action: commanding the field, outmaneuvering opponents, scoring goal after goal. Her athleticism was undeniable, but it was her confidence and charisma that truly shone.

Jess turned to Lena with a knowing smirk. "Oh, Lena, you are in trouble. She's not just talented; she's your type to a T. Athletic, charming, and let's be honest – drop-dead gorgeous."

Lena watched, a mix of admiration and realization dawning on her. Jess's teasing words rang true. Kara was exactly the kind of woman who always caught her attention, and now, knowing more about her, Lena's intrigue transformed into a full-blown crush.

🝰

Lena gazed at Jess as if she had suddenly sprouted a third head. "You want me to - what!?" Lena exclaimed, her voice a mix of surprise and incredulity.

Jess, unfazed by Lena's reaction, leaned in with a determined look. "You haven't found a way to casually bump into KD after all this time. It's time you stepped it up, Lena. You need to step it up - girl the hell up," she urged.

Taken aback, Lena retorted defensively, "And you think throwing a party is the answer? How am I supposed to just casually invite the most popular girl on campus?"

"You've already done all the recon," Jess pointed out, her tone pragmatic. "You know virtually all there is to learn about her, except if she's actually interested in you. It's time."

Lena's frustration was evident as she threw her hands up. "Jesus, Jess, I'm not even sure how I'd go about throwing a party. Who would even come?"

"Everyone," Jess replied simply, her confidence unwavering.

"Stop it, Jess," Lena said, a hint of annoyance in her voice.

But Jess was absolute. "Lena, I'm serious. Everyone will come because despite your painful need to please everyone," she said, prompting a scoff from Lena, "you somehow still come across as chill and mysterious. Even though I can 100% confirm the ooey gooey softie inside. Everyone is going to be curious about getting into the manor. All I need from you is the okay. You know I'm all about consent, babe."

Lena sighed, a look of resignation crossing her face. "Jess, it's your home too."

"I know, but it's not my party," Jess replied, giving Lena a patiently waiting look, silently urging her to agree.

After a moment of contemplation, Lena finally relented. "Okay, fine," she conceded, signaling her submission to Jess's plan.

🝰

Lena, Jess, Sam, and little Ruby strolled away from the university soccer field, the buzz of the crowd still echoing around them. The game had been exhilarating, with Kara's team clinching a last-minute victory.

"That was a fantastic match," Sam remarked, adjusting her scarf against the autumn chill. "Kara was on fire today!"

Jess nodded in agreement. "Absolutely, that goal she made was just—wow! So glad we came."

As they walked and discussed their plans for the evening, Ruby bounced excitedly next to her mother, her small hands gesticulating wildly as she recounted the game's highlights. "And then she did this super cool steal, just swooped in and took the ball from the other team! It was like magic!"

Her energy was infectious, and even Lena found herself laughing at Ruby’s animated storytelling. But Ruby’s attention soon shifted. Mid-sentence, her eyes locked on a familiar figure near a food truck, and her narrative cut short. "Kara! Kara!" she shouted, her voice full of glee as she darted toward the soccer star.

Kara turned towards the cheerful voice, her smile broadening with curiosity. "Well, hello there! And who might you be?" she asked, kneeling to be at eye level with Ruby.

Ruby puffed up her chest, trying her best to look as formal as a five-year-old could. "I’m Ruby! I saw you play soccer. You run fast and kick hard!" She beamed, clearly proud to have delivered her introduction.

Lena and Sam caught up, with Sam laughing a bit. "Yeah, great game today! Sorry, this little soccer fan of yours couldn't wait to meet you. That steal was incredible!"

"Thank you!" Kara replied, standing up and still smiling at Ruby. "It's great to meet you, Ruby. Thanks for cheering us on. I'm glad you enjoyed the game."

The groups merged, introductions were made, and the conversation flowed easily. Ruby’s enthusiasm seemed to lighten everyone's mood, and laughter filled the air. However, it wasn’t long before Lena caught Kara stealing a glance her way. When their eyes met, Kara quickly looked away, a shy smile tugging at her lips.

Noticing the subtle dynamics, Jess grinned and chimed in, "You guys should come to our party this weekend. It’s going to be a blast, and we’d love to have you join."

Kara’s teammate, Amelia, looked at Kara and then back at the group. "That sounds awesome," she said. "What time should we show up?"

As plans were discussed, Lena offered Kara a longing glance, full of unspoken words and possibilities. The connection between them was palpable even in the bustling crowd. It was the beginning of something new, something exciting.

🝰

In the luxurious confines of Verdigris Manor, Lena, and Jess were deep in the throes of planning for a party that would be the talk of National City University. Their elegant shared room buzzed with the energy of anticipation and meticulous planning.

Jess was in her element. Ever the mastermind of social gatherings, she orchestrated the details with a flair that was both impressive and endearing. Her phone constantly beeped, buzzed, and chimed, a digital command center for the profusion of arrangements. Lena was equally engaged, her inputs reflecting a thoughtful consideration of their diverse college community.

"We need a theme that's universally appealing," Jess suggested, scrolling through her phone for inspiration. "What about 'Urban Oasis'? It's sophisticated, yet relaxed. We can use eco-friendly decorations, and those string lights you love."

Lena nodded, her mind occasionally drifting to Kara, but careful not to make the party seem tailored for the soccer team. "That sounds perfect. And let's make sure we have a variety of food options. Think gourmet pizzas, sliders, and some vegan choices."

The guest list was expansive, an open invitation to their classmates and friends. Jess crafted an elegant digital invitation, ensuring it reached every corner of the campus. While they hoped Kara would attend, they were careful to make the invitation appealing to all.

Safety and logistics were meticulously planned. Lena insisted on discreet security to maintain the manor's privacy, while Jess mapped out the layout to ensure a smooth flow of guests.

For interactive elements, Jess's eyes lit up with an idea. "How about a DIY mocktail bar? And we can set up a Memory Wall where guests can pin up photos or notes."

Lena smiled, appreciating Jess's knack for creating engaging activities. "That sounds fun. And a photo booth, too? It’ll be a hit."

"Definitely," Jess agreed, scrolling through her phone for inspiration. "We'll need some classic props—oversized glasses, feather boas, those hilarious fake mustaches."

Lena's eyes twinkled mischievously. "And maybe sneak in some Shrek ears and a tiara, just for the fun of it?"

Jess chuckled, catching Lena's drift immediately. "Oh, absolutely. And how about a cowboy hat, a wizard’s staff, maybe a detective’s magnifying glass? Keep things eclectic."

"Perfect," Lena said with a knowing nod. "The more, the merrier. Throw in a superhero cape and a Viking helmet, too."

As they continued, the plan for the photo booth evolved into an amusing array of props, each one a nod to different worlds.

As the day of the party drew closer, their room became a hub of last-minute preparations. Lena found herself increasingly excited, not just for the party, but for the possibility of seeing Kara in a relaxed, social setting.

The night before the party, as they reviewed their checklist, Lena voiced a lingering thought. "Do you think she'll notice the effort we've put in?"

Jess gave her a reassuring smile. "Everyone will. We've created something special here, Lena. It's not just a party; it's an experience."

As they settled in for the night, the manor seemed to hum with the melody of the upcoming event. Lena and Jess’s collaborative endeavor was not merely a party but an orchestrated symphony of anticipation, inclusivity, and the subtle hope of new beginnings. Each decision they made, each element they carefully chose, was like a note in an intricate composition, coming together to create a harmonious and enchanting evening that resonated with the spirit of their college community.

🝰

The moment anyone steps into the manor they were transported into a world of enchantment and excitement. The historic elegance of the manor was interwoven with modern, vibrant party elements. Lena, in her understated dress, moved through the rooms with a mixture of pride and nervous anticipation. The rich sound of chatter and laughter filled the air, punctuated by the rhythmic beats of music that resonated from wall to wall.

Jess, the co-architect of this grand evening, was a whirlwind of energy and charm. She floated through the crowds, her laughter infectious, her presence almost omnipresent. She checked in with the DJ, ensuring the music was just the right blend of genres – a mix of indie, pop, and classic hits that kept the dance floor constantly occupied. Her attention to detail was meticulous – from the arrangement of the eco-friendly decorations to the perfect temperature of the room.

In the heart of the living area, surrounded by a group of animated students, stood Lucy. Her voice was clear and confident as she debated a controversial legal case, her eyes sparkling with passion. Her audience, a mix of pre-law and political science majors, hung on her every word, occasionally interjecting with their opinions. Lena paused nearby, drawn in by the fervor of the debate. For a moment, she forgot her own anxieties, caught up in the intellectual energy radiating from Lucy.

🝮

As the night unfurled, Lena, still intermittently scanning the entrance, found herself inadvertently drawn into a conversation with Sam and Jack. Sam, a sharp and ambitious business major, was animatedly discussing a recent class project, her eyes alight with enthusiasm. Jack, an engineering student with a penchant for ironic commentary, chimed in with his own insights.

Lena playfully rolled her eyes, feigning exasperation. "You two do realize this is a party, right? There's a ban on class talk tonight," she teased, her tone light and friendly.

Sam laughed, nudging Lena's shoulder. "Come on, Lena, when do we ever get to talk shop outside of class? This is our idea of fun."

Jack grinned, his eyes twinkling with excitement. "Actually, we're deep in a discussion about creating the ultimate eco-friendly vehicle. Think about an automobile that’s not just green, but also a masterpiece of style and performance. That’s the kind of challenge that excites any engineer."

Sam, jumping in with a business perspective, added, "And from a marketing angle, it’s about positioning it as the ideal choice for the environmentally conscious yet tech-savvy consumer. We're exploring ways to make it appealing to a market that values innovation and sustainability in equal measure."

Their banter was easy and filled with the comfortable familiarity of friendship. Lena found herself momentarily distracted from her worries, her laughter genuine as she joked back.

It was then that Jack, with a casual nonchalance, mentioned, "Oh, by the way, I saw Kara earlier. She was over at the library when I was on my way here."

The effect of his words on Lena was immediate. Her playful demeanor faltered, replaced by a flicker of hope and curiosity. "Kara was at the library? Tonight?"

"Yeah, looked like she was deep into some study session," Jack replied, unaware of the weight his words carried for Lena.

Sam, catching the subtle change in Lena's expression, shot Jack a curious look but said nothing. She knew about Lena’s feelings for Kara, and though she didn’t fully understand the depth of them, she recognized the significance of this piece of information.

Lena’s mind raced with possibilities. Was Kara studying for a class, or was there another reason she was at the library? Would she still consider coming to the party? The seed of hope that had started to wither began to sprout anew, even as Lena tried to temper her expectations.

The conversation gradually drifted to other topics, but Lena’s thoughts remained anchored to Kara. Her eyes flicked to the entrance yet again, the ember of anticipation rekindled by Jack’s casual remark.

In a cozy nook of the manor, away from the pulsating beats of the dance floor, Siobhan and Eve were the ringmasters of a Kings Cup game, their infectious laughter drawing a small crowd. Each participant eagerly awaited their turn, curious about what the next card would bring.

"Okay, Eve, your turn!" Siobhan announced, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

Eve drew a card and groaned playfully. "Oh no, it's the King! Time to make a new rule." The onlookers leaned in with anticipation.

She thought for a moment and then declared with a smirk, "Alright, from now on, everyone must dance before they drink!"

The group erupted into laughter and cheers, eagerly accepting the new challenge. As each person took their turn, the game became a delightful spectacle of impromptu dance moves and good-natured fun.

From a distance, Lena caught a glimpse of the game. She couldn't help but smile at the sight, her heart warmed by the joyful energy emanating from the group. This simple game, with its laughter and playful rules, epitomized the spirit of camaraderie and celebration that filled the manor that night.

Tucked away in a quieter corner was Brainy, engaged in a battle of wits over a chessboard. His opponent, a fellow engineering student, was giving him a run for his money, but Brainy’s strategic mind was clearly at work, calculating moves and countermoves. Around them, a small crowd had gathered, watching in fascination. Lena smiled, her heart warming at the sight of Brainy’s intense concentration encircled by the onlookers.

Outside, under the canopy of a starlit sky, Nia was capturing the essence of the night through her lens. Her camera clicked and whirred, immortalizing moments of joy, laughter, and friendship. She moved gracefully among the clusters of students, her bright smile encouraging them to pose or candidly capture their interactions. Lena watched her for a moment, a sense of pride swelling in her chest at the thought of these memories being preserved.

Barry and Iris, known throughout National City University for their inseparable bond, had nestled into a cozy corner of the party. Wrapped up in their own world, their affection was a scene of kisses and laughter, almost oblivious to the bustling activity around them. Guests passing by would throw them knowing smiles, recognizing them as the university’s unofficial ‘it’ couple, often joked to be practically married.

Meanwhile, bucking the communal exuberance, Sara Lance stood distinctly apart. Leaning against a wall with a drink in hand, her expression blended mild amusement with a hint of detachment. Known for her nonchalant attitude and adventurous spirit, Sara observed the party with a seasoned eye. Her content solitude and self-assured presence striking a chord with Lena as she moved through the crowd, it served as a reminder that there was more to life than her current preoccupations, even as she envied Barry and Iris's effortless connection.

Throughout the evening, Lena observed the myriad interactions at the party – from Barry and Iris's intimate moments to Sara's self-assured solitude. These varied scenes, each unique and lively, were like ships finding their way into the welcoming harbor of Verdigris Manor. Lena began to appreciate the party not just as a backdrop for her personal hopes but as a haven she had created. Each conversation, each burst of laughter, each shared dance became more than just aspects of a successful event; they were the lifeblood of a safe and joyous haven for all who entered. Slowly, Lena recognized that this night, with its rich panorama of collegiate experiences, was a sanctuary of happiness and connection she had helped to shape – a place where everyone, including herself, could find a moment of belonging and joy.

As 'Love at First Sight' by Kylie Minogue played, infusing the manor with its upbeat and dance-friendly vibe, Lena turned to Jess, her expression alight with excitement and pride. "Can you believe we did this?" she shouted over the music, gesturing to the vibrant scene around them.

Jess beamed, her energy matching the party's. "It's incredible, Lena! Just look at everyone, having the time of their lives because of us!"

The realization of their success hit Lena in a wave of euphoria. She saw guests dancing, laughing, and enjoying the night – each person a testament to the dedication and vision she shared with Jess. The music's catchy melody underscored the room's celebratory spirit.

"This is all thanks to you," Lena said, her voice filled with gratitude and awe. "We make a great team, Jess."

Jess nudged her playfully. "We sure do. Now, no more standing around – let’s join the party! We’ve earned it!"

Together, they delved into the crowd, letting the rhythm of the song carry them. The vibrant energy of the manor, the joy on the faces of their peers, and the strength of their friendship – all these swirled around Lena, reinforcing the night's magic. It was a moment of true connection and celebration, a night where their efforts had blossomed into a memorable experience for everyone.

The night at the manor unfolded like a kaleidoscope, each moment a shift of joy and celebration. It was a reflection of Lena and Jess’s commitment and foresight. For Lena, the evening became a journey through this ever-changing spectrum, where every turn revealed new patterns of excitement and emotion. The night was not just about the end goal but about the assortment of experiences that blended together to create a vivid and memorable tableau.

🝮

In the twilight of the night, as the witching hour held sway over the manor, the world seemed suspended in a tranquil limbo. Once a whirlwind of sound and color, the party had mellowed into a serene, almost ethereal setting. The laughter and music that had pulsed through the halls was replaced by the soft murmurs of late-night conversations and the gentle flicker of the remaining string lights.

Lena, her elegant attire now feeling more like a costume than a choice, moved through the dimly lit spaces. The few stragglers, lost in their own tired revelries, lounged in various nooks of the manor. In one corner, a couple sat entwined in whispered conversation, their smiles lazy and content. Across the room, a small group of friends shared stories, their laughter subdued but genuine, echoing softly in the expansive hall.

Each departing guest paused to share words of gratitude and awe with Lena and Jess. “This was the highlight of the year, Lena,” one said, their voice soft but sincere. Another, their eyes bright with the residue of joy, added, “You’ve outdone yourself. This place was magical tonight.”

Each compliment Lena received brought a genuine smile to her face, reflecting a mix of pride and satisfaction. Jess, ever the supportive friend, stayed by her side, echoing the praises of the guests.

As they tidied up, Lena's gaze lingered on the Memory Wall, a collection of photographs and notes. "Look at all these happy moments we helped create," Lena mused, a sense of accomplishment softening her voice.

Jess, setting down a stack of cups, joined her. “It really was a beautiful night, wasn’t it? We brought everyone together, made something special. That’s what counts.”

Lena nodded, her eyes taking in the wall. "You're right, Jess. It's more than I could've hoped for." The absence of Kara, though still a quiet longing, felt less like a void and more like a missed note in an otherwise beautiful melody.

Jess gave a knowing smile, gently nudging Lena's shoulder. "Everyone who came tonight will remember this for a long time. It's a shame she missed out, but hey, she missed one incredible party, didn't she?"

Before Lena could respond, the creak of the front door echoed through the quiet manor, causing both of them to pause. Lena’s heart raced, a mixture of hope and apprehension coursing through her. She turned towards the sound, her eyes straining in the dim light.

In the doorway stood a silhouette, a figure pausing at the threshold. The ambient light from the fading party decorations cast a gentle glow around them, enhancing the moment's surreal quality. Lena held her breath, her eyes searching, hoping against hope that the night might still hold one last surprise.

Around them, the remaining guests were insensible to this quiet drama unfolding, their conversations and laughter a distant backdrop. The manor, with its lingering traces of jubilation, seemed to hold its breath, waiting for the identity of the latecomer to be revealed.

As the figure stepped forward, the dim light softened the edges of her form, revealing Kara. Her hair was slightly disheveled, a testament to the lateness of her arrival, and her eyes scanned the room with a mix of surprise and awe at the remnants of the celebration. The quiet intensity of her gaze briefly met Lena’s, conveying an unspoken connection in the hushed ambiance.

Lena’s heart soared and plummeted all at once. The mixture of relief, joy, and a thousand unasked questions swirled within her. She stood frozen for a moment, her eyes locked on Kara.

Jess, noticing the shift in Lena’s demeanor, followed her gaze. A knowing smile touched her lips as she recognized the object of Lena’s silent yearning. With a subtle nod to Lena, Jess quietly excused herself, slipping away to give them privacy. She understood, perhaps better than anyone, the importance of this moment for Lena.

The manor, now quiet and expectant, seemed to pause in time. The few remaining guests, wrapped up in their own conversations, were oblivious to the new arrival.

Kara’s gaze eventually landed on Lena. A look of recognition and something deeper flickered across her face. She took a hesitant step forward, her expression a blend of curiosity and something akin to apology.

"Lena, I'm sorry I'm late," Kara said, her tone conveying regret. "Time just slipped away, and—"

Lena interrupted with a beaming smile. "You're here now, that's what matters. Tonight turned out more incredible than I could've imagined."

As Kara stepped closer, absorbing the remnants of the festive atmosphere, she expressed her regret at almost missing it all. "I heard it was the event of the year."

Lena's smile grew playful. "Would you believe me if I told you I threw this party just for you?" The words, light-hearted yet sincere, hung in the air, signifying a night brimming with unforeseen possibilities.

Lena looked into Kara's eyes, seeing there a reflection of her own mixture of hope and excitement. This wasn't just a figment of her imagination; it was real, tangible. The time and effort she had poured into this night, fueled by the hope of this very moment, had paid off. Kara was here, and the look in her eyes suggested she was just as intrigued.

As they continue to talk, their conversation a blend of light banter and tentative exploration, the first rays of dawn began to filter through the windows of Verdigris Manor, casting a soft, hopeful light on the two figures standing amidst the echoes of a night that would be long remembered.

Notes:

Have you ever watched a movie and unexpectedly heard a song that just clicked with you in that moment? That's exactly what happened to me when I watched "Bottoms." I couldn't shake the idea from my head, and driving home with the song on a loop, I even posted a prompt to the community that very night, hoping someone else would see my vision. After a period of silence (sad, I know), I had my Thanos moment—I decided, "Fine, I'll do it myself."

I'm incredibly grateful to finally share this creation with the world, but it wasn't just me. Huge shoutout to my betas, fionnemrys and majuba—there's no way I could've hit 'post' without them.

A special thanks to my artist, chaoticsuper, who, through a bit of conversation, realized how dear Jess is to my heart. Thank you for making this so much more amazing; I'm smiling just typing this because of you. This is a perfect sneak peek of what you're about to read.

And lastly, to the mods of May-hem who made all of this possible—I can’t stress enough how much work goes into these events. Without them, none of this would be happening. Also, a big hell yeah to everyone on the Discord server—sometimes I know it was like a scene straight out of Far Far Away (I swear I’m innocent!). I can’t wait to start my next fic with all of you. Maybe you’ll finally get to see my "AgentWonder" idea.

Alright, that was a mouthful. Let me attach my usual footer and head out. I hope everyone enjoys their day and this fic!
