It's happening again!
The uneasy peace of Brockton Bay was disrupted last night, when a new Merchant cape killed Kaiser. That's right, the Merchants killed the leader of the Empire Eighty-Eight. Since then, there's been warfare in the streets! So far, only one confirmed cape fatality. Stormtiger has been found dead in a McDonald's parking lot. Judging from the photos I've been masturbating to studying, it appears he's been dragged behind a car. New Wave's Shielder has also reportedly been shot but has made a full recovery, thanks to Panacea.
In less important news, there's been twelve civilian deaths. nine ABB deaths, twenty Empire deaths, and a whopping thirty-five Merchant deaths!

Judging from what my friends inside sources say, it appears that the Empire is facing a little bit of a schism. Hookwolf wants to go out into the streets and kill everyone wearing Merchants colors he sees as soon as possible (Which is an admirable goal! I hate people with addictions.), while Kreig wants to bide their time and grow their recourses to do one final charge against the scourge that is the Merchants.

Here, I am. Making a god damn PHO interlude. I wanted to be better, wanted to be creative, wanted to serve people a unique and interesting story, I wanted to be DIFFERENT. But I'm just serving people the same bullshit they usually eat. Do PHO interludes even add anything to the story? Or are they just cheap tactics used by lazy authors to try and get some cheap laughs?
This is a trope, a Worm fic trope! The exact thing I wanted to avoid! I wanted to better than the usual Worm fics you see on TV Tropes! I did everything I could to avoid the usual shit in these fics! Lisa only showed up once, Victoria probably is never going to show up! I wanted to be different, I wanted to be better! But I'm not. I'm worse. The Nazi user's urethra is then invaded by bees. That are covered in barbed wire. And that are on fire. His balls are beehives. This is a horrible bit, why did I write this. I could've done like twenty million things instead of writing that. I got the Locked Tomb series, I should get around to reading it. And House of Leaves, I bought it and I want to read it. And Doom Patrol, I need to finish watching that. And Skyrim, I was doing a playthrough but then I got distracted by something. Wait, shit I'm getting distracted again.

Okay, since Bagrat is being a useless fuck who is getting off to the suffering of others, I will tell everyone who the mysterious Merchant cape is.
From what I've heard, the Merchants are calling him Static Snow, a reference to his appearance and the common street term for cocaine. Since there's been no word from the PRT yet, I had to guess his classification myself. He's a Breaker/Blaster/Mover. He can apparently sap energy from electronics to boost his powers, move through electronics, blast people with lightning, and is completely invulnerable to normal damage. A dangerous powerset, for sure.
It seems the Merchants are gonna be the powerhouse they probably should've been from the beginning. I mean, Brockton Bay is a failing town, it has no industries. So, there would probably be a bunch of fucking homeless people and drug addicts right? So, you'd think they'd have more of a hold on the city. They have a Tinker, they should probably be more feared. But no! Wildbow put his biases into Worm and made the Merchants a complete joke. I don't give a shit about the fourth wall, this is such a stupid thing. Like, boo-hoo, people do drugs. It's their body, if someone wants to put drugs in it, they can put drugs in it! John, buddy, you write good shit, but you have horrible opinions. Fuck.
