Chapter Text
The next day Tzuyu woke up in a terrible mood. The reason being none other than the fact he was engaged now to the woman he absolutely hated.
The news was already too much for him. Waking up and seeing that damned ring on his finger reminding him of the fact he was no longer single, annoyed the hell out of him.
Grumbling, he turned to the middle aged man. "Have you been feeding him well?" He asked, referring to his horse, Max. He was here at the stables.
It was a beautiful white horse with a golden coat. Tzuyu remembered how Chaeyoung ridiculed him when he got himself a white horse but Tzuyu brushed him off. He had always loved the color white. And while people around him were quick to point out the fact boys preferred black over white, Tzuyu didn't care much.
I mean, they were just colors.
The hostler bowed. "Yes, my Prince. Max is healthy."
Tzuyu nodded, silently dismissing him. He got on the horse, deciding he will rather keep Max some company if it meant he could delay seeing Sana.
By the time he was done, Tzuyu regretted coming here and making a sweaty mess out of himself. He could have just woken up earlier to avoid Sana but instead he woke up late, and went for a horse ride first thing in the morning. He shook his head as he walked back to the palace.
"What are you doing here?" He asked when he saw Sana standing outside his room, two servants at her side.
Sana glanced back at the servants who bowed once before leaving the two alone. "Your mother told me to get you." She said calmly and ran her gaze over his figure. "Where were you?"
Tzuyu rolled his eyes as he lightly pushed Sana away from the door. "What?" He huffed. Was he even to answer her from now?
Sana grabbed his hand which was holding the door knob, stopping him in his tracks. Tzuyu raised a brow.
"I am only asking cause I know she will also ask me that." She let go of his hand. "Trust me, I have absolutely zero interest in you, Chou."
Tzuyu shook his head a little, "I never said you had."
Sana rolled her eyes. "You implied that."
Tzuyu's brows furrowed. What was this woman saying? "You're not making sense."
"As if you are."
"No, but you're just saying whatever now."
"So are you."
Sana glared at him while Tzuyu pursed his lips in a straight line. Yeah, they were getting married.

"Sorry I am late." Tzuyu entered the lounge where the King and Queen of both Kingdoms were resting after breakfast. His eyes fell on Sana who sat alone on a two seater sofa, probably because of him.
"Sit beside Sana." Queen Chou said when she saw Tzuyu moving towards another sofa. Tzuyu smiled sheepishly getting caught so early. He could see Sana glare at him while the King and Queen of Welton just chuckled.
"You love to embarrass yourself, don't you?" Sana mumbled to him when he sat down. Tzuyu stared at her wordlessly in response making Sana uncomfortable. "What are you looking at?" She asked, not backing off.
Tzuyu faced ahead, watching the others talk to each other. "You know, I wasn't even thinking that you were interested in me before."
"That's good. Cause I am not." Sana immediately answered.
"But it's just weird," Tzuyu continued, not minding Sana. "You keep initiating conversations with me when you didn't even look at me before. It gives me the wrong idea." He said, looking straight into Sana's eyes who stiffened in her place. What was he saying?
Tzuyu burst out laughing a minute later when Sana's expression didn't falter. "Did you really believe that?" He asked her.
Sana gulped harshly and tore her gaze away from him. "I hate you."
Tzuyu chuckled. "I am well aware."
Queen Chou coughed once, "Well, it seems like you two are getting along." She said, glancing at Tzuyu and Sana.
"Mom please," Tzuyu muttered. "Just get on with it already."
The Queen shook her her his behaviour but continued regardless. "Your marriage date is decided." She beamed.
Sana held back the urge to scream. Not even a day here and they had already selected the wedding date? "Already?" She asked lowly.
"Yes, honey, your father and I need to return to Welton as soon as possible." Queen Yuki spoke this time.
Sana shut her eyes and leaned back on the sofa, knowing there was no point in asking further.
"When is it?" Tzuyu asked.
"Next Saturday." His mother answered. "You two can get to know each other in the meantime."
Tzuyu glanced at Sana who still had her eyes shut and then at the expectant faces of his and her parents. Yeah no.

"Does it make sense?" Sana asked Mina. The two girls sat together in the garden in the evening sipping on some tea.
"What does?"
"My marriage."
Mina laughed softly, "To Tzuyu? I guess not."
Sana leapt forward immediately, taking a hold of Mina's hands. "I know right! Even you understand. Why don't Mom and Dad do?"
"Why is marriage an issue anyway? You're of age and you don't have a boyfriend too which may make you less inclined to get married." Mina said.
Sana shook her head. "Marriage isn't as issue. It's Tzuyu. I hate him."
Mina giggled. "I have been hearing you say that since forever."
"It's true. Like I would have been if it was, you know, anyone. For example, Dahyun, Prince Dahyun you know him right? He could have been a much better partner than that Tzuyu." Sana grumbled.
Mina frowned. "He isn't that bad."
"Well of course, you would say that. He treats you nicely. It's only me he hates."
"To be fair, you hate him too. Tzuyu tried to befriend you so many times and he was always looking out for you." Mina pointed out.
"When?" Sana questioned stubbornly.
"Multiple times. For instance when you got lost at Dahyun's palace, it was Tzuyu who noticed it even before me. And also who found you. When Ms Song locked you out for coming late, who got you inside?" Mina raised a brow at her cousin. "This isn't even all of it, you know."
"Heol, am I that big of a troublemaker?" Sana wondered.
Mina gave her a so done look and started to get up. Sana noticed quickly and stopped her as she laughed. It was too fun teasing Mina.
