The shooting day has come. Does it count as a comeback after a while? As for the mixtape comeback of Agust D, it is. However, for the group comeback it isn’t counted as one. The band had their comeback in February this year with their Map of The Soul: 7 album, but everyone is excited to see their beloved Agust D persona of their Yoongi-hyung (Yoongicchi for Seokjin) after a few years! Their maknae has been singing the title track of the mixtape album for weeks, he even sung it on a photoshoot site for one of their ad projects.
“Seokjin-hyung , do you think we have to steal Yoongi-hyung ’s spotlight?”
“That’s not nice, Kook,” he sighed and patted Jungkook’s back, “Why am I the only one who has this fake beard?” he looked at the mirror and squinted his eyes, “I look nice tho, lol.”
The rapper who’s having his time took a lot of pictures of himself in blond wig and ancient-looking hanboks, “Dang, I have to wear these more often,” he said to himself as he sent a picture of himself in a blond wig to their group chat. Everyone was losing their mind, complimented him and said that most of them have fallen to him. Jung Hoseok, the one who was preparing the food truck on his way to the site, felt the urge to come even faster to the site.
BTS’ maknae and matnae had their scene with Yoongi as background characters. It took them multiple takes to finalise the scene due to inconvenient “accidents” that were caused by both of them. Seokjin’s fishing equipment hit Jungkook’s face, or when Jungkook stepped on Seokjin’s feet, they both almost lost balance because they were immersed by Yoongi, how they almost had real fights on site, and a lot more. They were glad that they took some pictures in their costumes before shooting the scene, because their makeup was worn off after it. They were also glad that they took some other picture with Seokjin and Jungkook sitting next to each other with the costume, it was fun and of course the two stubborn men already apologised. The costumes were heavy and hot, they had to take them off and wear their normal attires, a shit with short pants.
“YEAAAHHHHH, I’M HERE EVERYONE!!” someone familiar shouted, of course three members looked at him instantly they heard him. Jungkook was partially running to him, followed by Seokjin and today’s star, Yoongi. Yoongi was confused and shocked when he saw a food truck on the site, he scanned everything on the truck and it was, indeed, from Hoseok. He laughed when he saw Hoseok’s and his funny pictures framed, “Ahh, really.. You should’ve told me beforehand, so I can prepare for it. Thank you Seok- ah , it’s so funny and cute at the same time!!”
Both rappers were laughing and hugging because the eldest rapper was touched by the second youngest, it was cute how grateful they are for having each other on their side. On the other side, the real eldest and youngest in the team were laughing at their pictures on the truck, Jungkook told them to take a picture as they’re together and Yoongi still couldn’t remove his makeup until he’s finished with the MV for today.
Hoseok was a little disappointed that he came late and that he couldn’t see them in ancient costumes, “If I told you guys to wear those heavy costumes on for me, would you do that?” he asked the trio. Yoongi sighed and told him he could stay for a while because he was about to take another scene, which would let him see him in those. Seokjin gave him a weird look with slightly squinted eyes and open mouth, “I know it’s almost Spring, but wearing those is a little—ugh, I’ll pass,” he said. Both Hoseok and Jungkook asked why he wouldn’t do it, which only got Seokjin annoyed because he doesn’t want to have those fake beards anymore and the eldest threatened to bite them if they kept asking him.
At the same time, Namjoon who was working on his personal project—his musical diary for the last years of his 20s since he’d miss it the most when he’s past this life stage—opened the group chat only to see Jimin and Taehyung argued with other members regarding why they weren’t invited to the site, or because they were busy with other individual schedules they had. The team leader sighed and turned off his phone after he left a comment on it, saying he also felt a little jealous that he couldn't join them. “Almost 8 years with these dorks and they’re still the same dorks, they’ve changed but they’re also stayed the same since the first days I met them individually,” he smiled as he fixed the family picture of them that they took back then in 2016 on his desk, “Ahhh reallyyyyy, they’re so annoyinggggggg!!”
The first day at In The Soop shooting site is due in two days and most members were still struggling with packing their stuff. Seokjin, the one who was informed by Jungkook regarding his punching bag he’d brought to the site, decided to bring a stick or body pillow to punch the punching bag everyday so he’d feel less stress at the site. Since their company and staff told them that they wouldn’t have to work on other places or force them to visit one to another places on the site like what they’ve been doing for past few years for their contents: NOW series, Bon Voyage series, even Summer Package series that they decided to stop producing since last year. As the first one who will leave for the military, Seokjin promised himself to relax and enjoy every single day at the site with his friends, he even had dates with his boyfriend to ease his stress and anxiety a little.
Four days ago, Seokjin invited Hoseok to have a nice casual karaoke date with him, he should’ve been too tired for it as Taehyung made everyone from the team to play Mario Cart with him for hours and hours because he wasn't invited to Daechwita’s site. He’s lucky because everyone loves him and he’s their second youngest member, so he got all the privileges to act all bratty like that. At the karaoke place, they decided to challenge each other and whoever wins with more scores, will have to make the loser listen to whatever they want. As a vocalist with a silver voice, of course Seokjin won with ease, he made Hoseok to have dinner with him after the karaoke. It was nice, the date night was nice, but because he’s dating Hoseok, his date made him walk home or at the last bus stop or train station with him. Everyone in the team saw their updates from the karaoke date to the alleged dare from Hoseok to Seokjin, everyone in their gossip group chat was confused and made theories whether the two guys were having dates based on the updates; from 4 PM to 11 PM as a hangout for two people is a little too much. Not that much, just made them make speculations as they were said to stop gossiping about their relationship, but!! BUT!! The two guys were too close and too touchy with eachothers, not to mention that they’re loud on both social media and in real life, where they all can see it.

Taehyung: Dang, they’re close with each other. I think they’re—

Yoongi: All of us are close with each other, are we dating? I don’t think that’s how it works
As the rest of the team were arguing about what happened between the eldest vocalist and middle-child-rapper, the culprits were busy flirting on private messages with Seokjin sending Hoseok a picture of them holding hands. Hoseok apologised for holding Seokjin’s finger in his car, it was cute of them because he didn’t know how long and veiny Seokjin’s fingers were, he even joked of wanting to cook his fingers as they were like veiny sausages. “Hoseok.. You’re dating me because you want to eat my fingers? I’ve only known you as my boyfriend for 20 days and this is what I get?” Seokjin pouted whilst looking at Hoseok’s eyes to see how he would react—Hoseok was shocked and apologised to him multiple times. Cute. Seokjin sighed and patted his head for a hot minute. He was glad he took a picture of it before it turned into something like this, “You’re allowed to eat my fingers whenever you want, Seok- ah .” His boyfriend puffed his cheeks and sulked on the car seat, “I will devour your fingers and your whole body so you won’t mock me like that anymore!” such an empty threat.
As a gentleman, Seokjin drove him back to his house although he was joking about walking with Hoseok at 1 AM. He even drank less alcohol so he wouldn’t get arrested for having it past 4. As someone who’s madly in love, he looks at his fingers and he promises not to wash them, only to wash them after 2 hours of playing his video game, “AH SHIT– I SHOULDN’T DO THAT!!!”

Seokjin was busy packing his personal belongings, as the stick and body pillow hardly fit in the baggage. Was he complaining about it? Yes. He punched the baggage multiple times until it closed cutely. Seokjin wiped his sweat and complimented himself about how sexy and skilled he was, that was necessary to boost his ego and confidence.

Hoseok: Are you finished with your packing?
Hoseok: For In The Soop, since it’s in few days before shooting starts
Seokjin: I’m almost done with it
Seokjin: The bat stick was hard to deal with
Hoseok: Why would you need one?

Seokjin: So when I wake up at the site, I’ll PUNCH it!!
Hoseok: ..weird, but okay go on
The day has come, each and every member is waiting for the company's vans to take them and drive them to the site. Everyone was minding their own business–mostly sleeping on the van as they were busy with the packing and their individual projects, alongside with memorising some new choreos for BTS FESTA 2020. However, Park Jimin couldn’t sleep for the past two nights because Hoseok and Seokjin, the day they were talking about how they were out together for a night walk, was a little too packed and weird. He makes theories on what actually happened on March 26th 2020, saying that their Hobi posted he was at karaoke room at 4 PM only to post a picture of Jin eating dinner with him only a few hours after the karaoke room post. Other members told him to stop gossiping about them, because they promised the culprits. However, Namjoon scrolled throughout their private account’s timeline, it really does match his theory, plus Seokjin posted about walking at midnight with Hoseok.

Jungkook: Seokjin- hyung never walks when he’s going to bar
Jungkook: He’s not type of man who forgets to bring his car when going out

Jimin: Who’d hangout with his friend from 4 PM to 1 AM?
Taehyung: I would. But, they never told us about it
Yoongi: Guys, stop. It’s their privacy. They’d tell us if they are
Yoongi: Maybe they thought it’s not appropriate to announce relationship change in pandemic like this
Jungkook: My boldest guess is that they’re on their transition arc
Jungkook: They’ve been bestfriends for years, just like us. You know that it’d be awkward to confess your bestfriend of years
Namjoon: Best friend to lover trope?
They didn’t finish the discussion when they arrived at the site. It was nice and cozy, plus the staff said they’re allowed to do anything they want. As young men, they did everything and anything they could and wanted. Seokjin does punch the bag Jungkook brought every morning as if he won’t be able to have a normal life without doing such an act. Jimin roleplayed as an old man and teased Yoongi saying he would stop giving him holiday allowance if he kept acting all bratty with him. They teased Namjoon for always reading even during vacation, only to praise them nonstop due to his help on making their dinner better by preparing utensils and ingredients. Their days during In The Soop were fun, full of teasing and laughter among members. Truly something worth keeping in their deepest memories stored inside their head, something they shouldn’t miss out on and something they’d miss the most when they should be separated, be it permanent or temporary such as military periods. They’ve been together since they were trainees, would they be able to be separated? As a team, a group of friends, who were chosen to be in the same place with each other who later became more than bestfriends—family, to be exact, they would miss each other. What if other members would be more than happy when one is not there? For Seokjin, he doesn’t want to think of that, because he couldn’t imagine a day without his members–his baby brothers. It’d hurt him and made him fall into depression if they were like that.
“Jin-hyung , what’s on your mind? You seemed off,” a familiar voice called him.
“Nah, it’s nothing. I just think the grasshopper we saw earlier looks like someone I knew,” he shouldn’t doze off as he was jogging with one of the members, “There aren’t any staff here, you can call my name without that, y’know.”
“Nu’uh, I don’t want to risk it.”
In The Soop was fun, he got to spend more quality time with the members before the military. He should send his letter to get the date and unit for him by this Summer. There aren’t any days without thinking about the military for him, as he’s the oldest and he’s been reading articles regarding his military status. It’s not like he doesn’t want to go, it’s because of his work schedules and he wants to spend a little time with his baby brothers. He should’ve learnt how to stop thinking about it once in a while. He should have.
It’s been a week since In The Soop filming period, everyone including Seokjin were talking about how fun last week was for them. How time flies fast and they’re starting to miss their ARMYs even worse than the first quarantine notice. Seokjin said that if the stupid virus weren’t there, they should’ve been able to perform infront of their fans and how the virus should stop spreading in the fastest way and time period they could. He was scolded by his members, it’s insensitive to talk about that at times when they know it’s hard for everyone. As it was only a month in stupid Corona Virus quarantine shit, they will meet their ARMYs as soon as they could. Most members were positive it would end by the end of April. Amidst the talk regarding Corona Virus and quarantine, Namjoon announced that they will have a single by a few months and how the pitching done by Yoongi was approved recently. The single’s concept was based on the pandemic, how it happened without any prior notice as if it exploded. They had to work on the lines and new choreography for this single as they needed to work on other things, be it a mixtape or BTS FESTA 2020 stages. They really hoped they would perform it infront of their fans, it’s been a month and they need to perform of ARMYs by June. It’s quite unusual for Seokjin to pitch a whole album concept proposal to members when they were talking about other things.

Seokjin: How about our next album? Would it talk about quarantine and pandemic? Maybe it’d cause a lot of problems, but what if we design and produce our next album on our own? With the agency’s help, of course, just– what if we make it merrier than our previous ones? As for concept and directing, we can do it by ourselves and don’t you think it’d be fun to have an album with our faces—all seven of us on the CD as a cover?
Jimin: OOHH–!! THAT’S SO COOL!! LET’S DO THAT!!
Taehyung: Whoa, what a surprise. You weren’t as active for pitching an album like this, it’s cool, Hyung!
Seokjin: It should’ve been done before I couldn’t do it with you guys anymore for a few years.
Everyone read that and they were shocked by what Seokjin just sent. Some members instantly shed tears, some tried to call him but he didn't answer any of them. What does Seokjin mean by that? Was he going to leave them alone? Was he going to abandon them? What does he mean?! Hoseok messaged him, asking what he meant by what he sent on the group chat, as he gets boyfriend privileges Seokjin didn’t ignore him.

Hoseok: ….what does that mean?
Seokjin: To be frank, I don’t want anyone to know this
Seokjin: Since you’re my boyfriends so I’ll tell you
Seokjin: As for this Summer, I will go to military
Hoseok: So you wouldn’t be with us after Festa?
Seokjin: I will wait for our next single, the one Namjoon talked about.
Seokjin: I will go in August for the latest planned date.
Hoseok: I know you’re at that age.
Hoseok: Don’t you think it’s wiser to talk about it with everyone?
Seokjin: I don’t think now is the right time to talk about it, Seokie.
Hoseok: Then, when would you talk about it?
As he felt pressured, he deleted the last chat bubble on the group chat. Everyone was furious and felt a lot of things: Abandoned, betrayed, anger, and denial. Everyone but Seokjin was affected, especially when Seokjin sent he wasn’t meant to send that. Every single member in the team felt a huge punch in their heart, who would like to be left by their big brother at times like this? They need him and his shoulders to lean on, to feel safe, they didn’t want to be left by him when they needed him the most at times like this.

Hoseok: I know you didn’t mean that. You’re not the type of guy who would send a message without thinking or being misplaced like that.
Hoseok: You deleted the last bubble because you didn’t want anyone to stop you, right?
Seokjin: I’m not in the mood to talk about that topic.
Seokjin: Jamais Vu’s choreo is hard, I need to memorise it.
Hoseok: There isn’t any choreo in that song, we’re in the same unit alongside Jungkook, Jin. I know everything for that shit.
Seokjin: I need to take care of my pets.
Hoseok: All of your pets are gone, Jin. You don’t have any now.
Seokjin: You’re talking nonsense.
Hoseok: I just came back from your place, it’s not nonsense.
As a boy, Seokjin doesn’t like to feel pressured like that. He was about to turn off his phone, but someone who could fully understand him just messaged him, Yoongi!! Yoongi would understand his reasons!

Yoongi: What does that mean, exactly?
Seokjin: Yoongichiiiiiiiiii
Seokjin: I need t o call yuo noww
Yoongi sent such a concerned chat to Seokjin as he seemed to be crying at the time they chatted. The rapper prepared everything to offer his shoulders for his only big brother, although they’re only three months apart. However, Seokjin didn’t seem like someone who was crying, he was eating his lunch. Because Seokjin trusts Yoongi and believes he would understand, Seokjin told him that he’d go to the military by Summer this year, or August. Yoongi did understand him, they’re already at that age for the military, “Don’t you think it’s wiser to talk about the military with other members? They need to know that too, y’know..” he said. Seokjin was defensive, he told the rapper that he already told Hoseok regarding his plan on the military and how Hoseok said the exact thing to him. “You really thought I wouldn’t do the same thing to you? You need to tell everyone about this,” the rapper sighs, “Everyone would understand your plans. I think you need to bring it to our next internal technical meeting, maybe Hoseok already said this to you, but you may get my points.” The vocalist praised him for understanding his concerns. He was about to change the topic but couldn’t because– “You shouldn’t fake your smile like that to me. We were roommates for the second longest, I know you didn’t mean it. Ah, you can stop pretending you never thought of it—the military, I know you’ve been thinking about it for weeks, or maybe months.”
Yoongi was right. He shouldn’t pretend like that. Seokjin bursted as he cried on call with him, he was at his limit. He couldn’t pretend anymore. He told him how it weightened his mind and heart for the last few months. He wanted to be with them a little longer. He wanted to meet their fans before going to the military, but it seemed impossible, he’s pessimistic about the virus. Yoongi just waited for him to stop crying, before he couk offer his shoulder virtually, Seokjin ended the video call.

Seokjin: Yoongi, thank you. I will try to bring it to our next internal technical meeting. I have to bring it by tomorrow, after memorising the new lyrics and practicing for Festa’s choreo.
Yoongi: Fighting!
Yoongi: I know you can do it.
Yoongi: I will go a few months after you <3
Seokjin was glad that he had Yoongi for him. He checked his phone, it was full of notifications he ignored other than Yoongi’s chat. One notification caught his attention, it was from Hoseok.

Hoseok: Jinnie, I think you forgot that Yoongi- hyung ’s studio is the closest to the main room.
Seokjin: Huh? What happened?
Hoseok: Uhh.. Uhmm.. So– Namjoon, the maknaes, and I eevesdropped your conversation with him.
Seokjin: ..WHY YOU GUYS BE IN THE SAME ROOM LIKE THAT?!
Hoseok: We were talking about you. You made everyone worried.
Seokjin was at the free use studio room, nobody should know where he exactly is. He heard a knock on the door, he peeked at the glass door. Before he could ask who knocked, someone opened the door as soon as they saw his shadow on the door. He was later forcedfully brought to the main meeting room. Everyone looked at him, demanding him to elaborate what he meant earlier on the group chat.
“I will go to the military by this Summer or after the promotion period for our next single.”
Everyone was shocked by how flat Seokjin’s expression and tone were. They were talking about their next single and album. They were just back from the In The Soop shooting site, and now they have to be abandoned by their eldest member? Don’t be ridiculous. Usually, Jimin was the most calm member in the room when trubulences like this happened to them. However, he was consumed by his anxiety and he grabbed Seokjin’s collar and almost put one of his legs on Seokjin’s chair.
“What did you mean? Weren’t we always having time to discuss everything with everyone? What do you mean by that shit?”
“I said, I will go to the military by this Summer.”
“Don’t you think it’s wiser to go after we meet our fans?”
“The pandemic won’t end that easily and soon, Jimin. You’re being too optimistic with it.”
Jimin was frustrated that he released Seokjin’s collar and held himself from banging the table. “Thanks to you that our plans are now officially screwed now.” Other members were too shocked to even separate them. Jungkook flinched, Taehyung tried to stand from his seat to stop them.
“We might be able to do it in a few months, be a little optimistic, Jimin,” Seokjin said. He, the one who told him was too optimistic just said that? Don’t be ridiculous
He might be fuelled with anger, it was hard not to show any physical frustration, Jimin wanted to slam the table. With a clenched hand, he accused himself of taking a glass of water. “It’s nice to say that when you’re going to military and leave us alone, being all depressed and frustasted with how doomed the World today!” couldn’t stop himself from saying such mean words. He would cry and apologise to Seokjin for hours if anything happened to him. “AND YOU WERE THE ONE WHOM CALLED ME BEING OPTIMISTIC WITH IT, HOW COULD I TRUST YOU TO BE A LITTLE OPTIMISTIC? DON’T MESS WITH ME, KIM SEOKJIN!” he yelled at him, Jimin’s eyes were watery. His face couldn’t help but express how betrayed he was.
